He loves us how much?
It’s an ancient truth that “Fish, and company, start to smell after three days”. But, God loves us so much that He’s willing to share His Heavenly Kingdom with us forever.
More miraculous, He loves us so much that He wants us as permanent residents.
That’s one of those things that makes Christianity so unbelievable. There is no one whom we’d want visiting with us forever. It’s almost impossible to believe that God could love us that much.
But, He does.
The Devil loves a spiritual vacuum.
We are familiar with vacuums, at least partial vacuums, in the physical world. Suction cups work because of a partial vacuum. Plungers clear drains by using a vacuum to move a column of water.
Spiritual vacuums are more important. When Jesus drove out a demon, He said that it might return, and bring friends, to reoccupy the space emptied by its leaving. To keep the evil spirits from returning, the soul has to be filled with good, more powerful spirits.
The Holy Spirit came to earth when Jesus ascended. The Holy Spirit occupies empty spaces within us so that demons can't get in. When a nation chases the Holy Spirit's Church away, the country begins to collapse as more people are controlled by spiritual forces from the Other Side.
When we look at the decay and collapse of England, we see a country whose king replaced its God with himself and his heirs. It has been going downhill since. The descent was always masked with pomp and circumstance, and the looting of many even less Christian peoples, but the slide is accelerating wonderfully.
England's bureaucrats, like Europe's, are filled with evil spirits; pride, envy, and hatred of neighbor. They have exiled the Holy Spirit and the empty places within have been filled with demons crying out to spread pain and suffering wherever they may.
England's only hope is that enough European Catholics immigrate to successfully pray that The Holy Spirit will return to fill their souls so full that the evil spirits will not be able to get in.
Even as their nation collapses into a quagmire of confiscatory taxes and predatory rules and taxes, many are too proud to ask The Holy Spirit to return.
So, of course, He won't.
He's far too polite to go where He isn't invited.

Light and Programmed Entities.
Light comes into our minds in two ways, directly from a light, or reflected from some Programmed Entity. When the tiny bits of light go into our minds, they are imprinted there. If needed, tiny bits of light are recalled to memory, where another part of our mind can consider it.
When St. Paul said "we see, as through a glass darkly" he was thinking of the internal resistors that keep us from seeing the source of what we see and have seen. Those resistors also keep us from seeing what we have seen; it is very difficult to put together all that we have seen of God so that He is ever more real to us.
All that can be seen are reflections of God's Program and the Programmed Entities thereof. Sin in our mind keeps us from seeing the light well. The more we sin, the less we see, even though the same amount of light enters into our pupils.
Catholic Fundamentalists believe that a baptized baby, whose Original Sin has been washed away and who has not yet been re-corrupted by the world, may see God directly.
The greatest happiness comes from seeing The Programmer behind His Programmed Entities. Many are satisfied with reflections. "I am as close to God on the golf course as I am in church. Maybe, closer." One of our jobs is to see that no soul we know approaches Judgment while polluted with such silliness. Pretending to be close to God while making excuses to avoid His Church makes us farther, not closer, and is, therefore, a lie much celebrated by the Other Side.
As Catholics, we not only see God, but make Him a part of ourselves at the Eucharist. That Holy Food courses through our veins to great spiritual effect. In our minds, it helps to neutralize, even drive away, those spirits from the Other Side who exist to separate us from Him.
As that Holy Food lets us purify our minds, we better see the source of light, which produced both the Programmed Entities, and a pathway through what has been programmed to The Programmer down which we may travel.
Programmed Entities exist to give us each all the information we can handle to decide if we're happy with the dim reflections of God, or, God, Himself.

God's truth or Baal's lies.
The long, historical record of temperature ups and downs makes it clear that manmade Global Warming is just another scare that takes advantage of long-term fluctuations. Global Warming fits better into the Other Side's long line of excuses for increasing taxes, profits, funding, and controls than into documentable science.
Some are gullible enough to believe that manmade global warming is dangerous. Others have a more dangerous spiritual malady. They want to believe their governments care about them.
Turning from God and truth to Government and lies is a common error, especially in times of ascendant political power. When it comes to standing up for truth against leftist governments, few have the courage the Maccabbees showed in standing up to their Greek oppressors.
People put government ahead of God because they lack faith and courage. Faith and courage are gifts of The Holy Spirit, generally unavailable to unbelievers.
Catholic Fundamentalists understand St. Paul's conclusion: "We do not do battle with people, but with Powers and Principalities". Demons lead their prey into thinking there is security in the lies of Baal. The very desire to "go along (with Baal)" is, in fact, a demon. Each lie is, at its root, a form of demon. Every evil desire is a different form of evil spirit.
No matter how many proofs, indications, and examples they see to the contrary, millions stubbornly ignore facts. Ignoring their own, God-given thinking abilities, they believe their government is good and caring.
Why? They do not have any reasonable alternatives. That's why Catholic Fundamentalism is so important. It combines the totality of the Roman Catholic Church, the Holy Scripture She compiled, and the God Who Programmed all with our own time. We live in the very first age that allows us to see us and the cosmos as the result of His ability to program particles, compile them into structures and beings, and have them move through time.
Tell a friend.

Parish priest, programmer extradinaire.
Catholic Fundamentalists are so caught up with the wonders of living in a world programmed by The Programmer that we sometimes overlook the miraculous programming going on every day.
Our parish priest has been given awesome programming abilities. Each priest has the programming power that lets him re-program the soul with Baptism and Absolution. The priest, alone among men, can cause the soul to change from Programmer-Unacceptable to Programmer-Acceptable with a few words.
The priests' programming is the most powerful programming in the world.
We don't know what happens in the course of the Confession. Has the sin been driven from the soul? Has some part of the soul's charge been reversed? Has polarity changed? Does the priest use the sin to actually make the soul stronger?
We will not know until we see things more clearly. The important consideration is that the priest who gave the Absolution actually reprogrammed the soul so that it was fit to be downloaded into God's own port.
Between now and Easter, we should ask a priest to use his staggering power to have our souls re-programmed so that they are acceptable to God.

Parish Priest, programmer extraordinaire. II
As discussed, an ordained Catholic priest is able to literally reprogram our souls in the Sacrament of Confession.
In Baptism, the same priest is able to wash away the Original Sin that Adam and Eve programmed into our genetic code. That washing away of sin prepares the soul for salvation. Without his programming ability, in all but the most special cases it would be impossible for the soul to attain Heaven.
In the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, "an angel takes the offering to the altar in Heaven" and then returns it. This cannot happen without a priest in attendance.
The actual re-programming is done instantaneously at the Heavenly altar. It cannot take place without the priest authorizing the Transubstantiation with the "Holy Password" that allows him to access The Mainframe.

Parish priest, ambassador extraordinaire
The Programmer has made things to operate the way they do so that non-believers would have to freely choose to exert a reasonable amount of effort to leave the lesser kingdoms of programmed entities and approach His realm.
Out of all the men in the world, The Programmer has selected a tiny handful to act as His emissaries. He has given them special powers. Earthly ambassadors have the power to conclude treaties and issue passports. A parish priest may make peace between a soul and He Who Programmed that soul and may issue the necessary permits for that soul to get past the otherwise impassible guards and gates of the Heavenly Kingdom.

Parish Priest, exterminator extraordinaire.
Catholic Fundamentalists understand that lies are living things. They swarm into the mind whenever they can. Lies began to infect us when Adam and Eve altered their genetic code and passed on "infectablity" by choosing the lies of the Devil over the Truth of God.
A tiny lie, like a single cancer cell, is all that it takes to begin corrupting our spiritual and mental operations. Lies grow into sins. Sins turn into tumors that try to devour the soul.
We embrace and pass on lies because we value bits of programmed matter more than we love The Programmer. Each individual is eventually destroyed by the lies they invite into their minds, unless those lies are removed.
As lies grow and multiply, they infect families, groups, and nations. When enough people embrace a lie, nations are destroyed.
Demonic possession, in its most common form, is manifested in the living lies that corrupt the soul, take over the mind, and spread to others. Those infected are rendered useless for their highest purpose, moving closer to God.
The Roman Catholic Priest has the power to remove the twisted bits of spirit that comprise each lie. He can strengthen us by changing the wine and wafer into the Body and Blood of God. He can make us fit for this strongest of medicine by granting us Absolution.
At the first sign of termites, we call an exterminator. At the first sign that we are being led astray by lies, we should see a priest.
As we do so, we should remember to be grateful to God for having provided us with men with the power to exterminate the tiny, infectious lies that work day and night to destroy us.

Parish Priest, compiler extraordinaire.
In the Sacrament of Marriage, two programs are joined in order that future human programs may be written and downloaded in human form. In the Re-Programming Period that precedes the actual Sacrament, the two living programs are made aware of their future problems and joys.
The engaged couple is, hopefully, re-programmed to put each other first. They are also programmed to survive as a couple while bringing children into the world. This is the most important re-programming they will receive. Since most souls are lost during marriage, it is vital that this process be done well.
Priests' training is long and hard. It helps them re-program souls, invisible beings only observable through the eyes of faith.

Parish Priest, warrior extraordinaire.
More than anyone else, the Catholic priest wages a daily battle with the forces of death. All of us know that lies lead to sin, sin to death, and that the death of the unforgiven is followed by eternal agony.
The priest not only understands this better than we, but also, he gives his life to fight for the eternal joy of souls. Wielding the Sacraments like sword and shield, he defends us from the assaults of those fallen powers and principalities whose mission is our destruction.
He takes the offensive, as well. He prays for our well-being in this life and the next. He is the yeast that makes the lump of dough to rise and become bread. He is celibate, he is poor, and he is obedient.
He is like Christ.
When it comes to the Sacraments, he is Christ.
(Your priest already knows how incredibly important he is. You may want to let him know that Catholic Fundamentalists appreciate his greatness, as well. In fact, he may not even know what Catholic Fundamentalism is. Too many Catholics do not.)

Mark Twain's universal law:
"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it." Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain)
Twain recognized that truth and making a living are often at odds with each other.
One of the most spiritually destructive things governments intentionally do is give people lush, useless jobs. The holder of such a job will tend to ignore any job-threatening truth. Why? "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it."
When we learn that a soccer ball impacting a child's head will cause irreversible brain damage, we may tell the soccer coach. The coach will be enthusiastic only about our imminent departure. Why? "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it."
We are paying thousands of dollars a year more for power than we need to pay. One hundred American atomic power plants produce 20% of our power. A few hundred more atomic power plants would run our cars, heat our homes, and power all our homes, farms, offices, and factories. This is known by every person involved in using coal, gas, and oil to run huge, wasteful generators. When we point this out to them or to those receiving "campaign contributions" from them, we are ingored because: " It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it."
All of us are made to pay thousands of dollars in property taxes to support failed public education. We can talk ourselves blue in the face explaining the waste and incompetence to public educators. They make no improvements, because: " It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it."
Catholic Fundamentalists go beyond Mr. Twain's terse description of a person turning from truth in order to obtain the proverbial "mess of pottage". Where he saw an ironic joke, we see a lost soul who values the programmed part of The Program more than The Programmer.
Before we can help the wayward sinner, we must pray for the strength in our own lives to put The Programmer first.

Power to the people. Hah!
In the late forties and early fifties, nuclear power was seen as a great gift to all humanity. "Electric power will be free!", claimed many scientists and engineers.
Small nuclear reactors were proposed that would provide a town, even a home, with its own nuclear power plant. Nuclear generators smaller than suitcases would set everyone free from meters and power grids.
The possibilities were endless. Electric cars, with virtually free electricity obtained by plugging in at night, would provide free energy for many with short commutes. Greenhouses would provide strawberries and fresh tomatoes all winter. A "new Eden" would be brought forth on earth, with virtually free power to all.
To keep that from happening, an Atomic Energy Commission with regulatory powers was put into effect. The installation of small, municipal power plants never took place.
Instead, the dangers of nuclear power took center stage. Government hirelings in publishing, broadcasting, and movies quickly put out the word. "On the Beach" showed atomic power destroying all the people in the world. "The China Meltdown" convinced millions that an uncontrolled reactor "would melt its way down to China". It was never explained how it would somehow miss the huge, molten core beneath.
The dangers of nuclear energy were magnified. All things nuclear became bogeymen. "The great dangers of nuclear waste disposal!" were endlessly talked about. No one mentioned that all the nuclear waste in the world could be piled 8 feet high on one football field. Nuclear power provides twenty percent of our energy for a penny a kilowatt. Eighty percent comes from coal and oil at six or eight cents a kilowatt. A tiny bit comes from wind, at a dollar a kilowatt.
Few escape the propaganda long enough to realize that a few hundred more nuclear reactors would provide every American with nearly free power, reducing their energy bills from thousands of dollars a year to a couple of hundred.

Seven Deadly Sins
First, know your enemy. Do you have trouble remembering all seven of the deadly sins, in order? Here’s an easy way:
Say out loud, “PEAS, G,G,L”. Go ahead. “PEAS, G,G,L.” That simple sentence stands for Peas, green, good, & little.”
“Peas, green, good, and little” is a handy mnemonic to remember the 7 Deadly Sins, (Pride, Envy, Anger, Sloth, (PEAS) and Greed, Gluttony, Lust. (GGL), in the exact order of their danger to our souls.
Now that we can memorize the names of our spiritual enemies, we can consider them as ethereal versions of infectious viruses and bacteria. Interestingly, biologists tell us there are five types of viruses and two main kinds of bacteria.
Catholic Fundamentalists understand that God has programmed a world where the Seven Spiritual dangers mimic the seven kinds of microscopic destroyers.
According to computer expert Mayur Kamut, there are also seven basic kinds of Computer Viruses that attack programs.
Many destroyers travel in packs of seven.

Hate, lies, and death wage war against love, truth, and life.
We can tell which way a person leans by his attitude toward abortion. Each abortion causes a death which, the accompanying lies tell us, is not a "real" death. Those in favor of abortion tend to hate, rather than love, their neighbors.
The pro-life people defend life, and truthfully say that abortion causes death. They tend to love their neighbor and want to keep them from harm.
There is an unholy triangle apexed by hate, lies, and death. From within it swarm the hordes of destructive demons.
We want to avoid them and their lies so that we can enter the Kingdom of God. Those who die within the triangle of hate, lies, and death may not enter God's Kingdom.
They aren't happy about it, and often pressure The Church to relax the rules. So far, She hasn't.
Abortion, our version of child sacrifice, is the most serious issue of all. Nearly all the people who think abortion should be allowed also tend to believe in Global Warming. Once a person has been infected with a huge lie like abortion, it is almost automatic to believe in the smaller lies that lesser demons spread.
Lies spread through the mind like dust motes in a room. We become so used to lies that we don't see them unless a beam of light suddenly makes us aware of their presence.

One of many divisions between sheep and goats
Private Sector businesses have to please their customers to stay alive. Public Sector agencies merely have to raise taxes.
Private Sector organizations often go out of business. Agencies in the Public Sector always seem to grow. While vast sections, often, whole industries of the Private Sector disappear, Public Sectorites receive automatic increases in salaries, benefits and pensions.
Most of them pay union dues. Those dues are used to elect law-makers who, in return for their support, ensure a flow of money to them. Public Sector employment in a big, powerful country is the nearest thing to certainty that this world offers.
Some in the Public Sector pay a great personal cost. Their hearts become hardened. They begin to look at their neighbors as tax-objects. They learn not to think about the impoverishment of their neighbors that their continued raises cannot help but cause.
Since it is impossible to love ones’ neighbors while looting them, over time, they become separated from The God Who told us that neighbors are to be loved. The spiritual cost of neighbor-looting, regrettably, is only discovered after a far better retirement plan than that provided by any state does not kick in.
Other separations accompany the income disparity between Private and Public Sector employees. Just as “birds of a feather gather together”, Public Sector employees gravitate toward their own social groups.
Even within families, the two groups tend to separate . It can be unpleasant for Public Sectorites to be around people who suffer firings, lay-offs, transfers, and reductions in pay, benefits, and pensions. It is equally unpleasant for family members laid off from a Private Sector organization to be around relatives who barely seem to work at all while automatically amassing amazing assets.
The more sensitive Public Sectorites do have pangs of guilt about their comparative great fortune. These concerns, rarely serious enough to prompt leaving the Public Sector, usually disappear. The less sensitive revel in their great fortune and plot new ways to get more money from their ever-poorer neighbors.
It is interesting that Public Sectorites, comparatively wealthy though they are, have been shown to be far less inclined to give to charities.
Many of them seem to have concluded: “The world owes me a living.”

The spirit is to the body as a driver to the car. What, then, is The soul?
Many of us moved from lesser to greater belief with three steps. First, we decided: “I may have a soul.”
Then, some make a second step: “I have a soul.” (Some decide, a la Pascal, “I will behave as if I have a soul.”)
That may lead a favored few to: “I must do everything I can to save my soul from eternal agony.” (Again, in the manner of Pascal’s Wager: “The smart bet is to behave as if I have a soul, the favorable judgment of which provides a reword worth the effort.”)
Happy is the soul that follows these, or any, steps to the Roman Catholic Church. She, it is clear to those who have taken the steps, can guarantee Salvation if Her rules are followed.
The Other Side may never admit the reality of final judgment, but may grudgingly admit it’s possible that we have a “spirit”. They think vaguely about its final destiny, but, believe in some vague way, “that it will become at one with the cosmos”, or some such silliness.
St. Paul told the Twelve Tribes, scattered by that time between India and Ireland, that there is both a spirit and a soul. Hebrews, 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, . . . ”
We can picture the difference between the soul and the spirit by imagining a driver in a car. The car symbolizes the body, and the driver symbolizes the spirit that moves the body, coordinating feet, hands, and eyes.
The soul is that portion of the driver’s mind that worries about getting a ticket.

Pravda. Truth?
Sometime, google "Pravda". The name means "truth" in Russian. Pravda is their news agency. It is so appallingly crude that it helps us to understand that our own "news" sources, while more sophisticated, provide a lot of mindless drivel for us to "think" about.
Since Pravda is a government monopoly, it has no meaningful competition when it comes to telling people what to think about issues. Whatever the Putin Government says is news is the only information available on which feelings about Enemies & Problems are to be based.
The other component of news, Distractions, is much the same, though far more simple-minded, than ours. Pravda chronicles creatures from outer space, inner space, and the ocean depths, all vying for attention. Endless stories of the "women enjoy having sex in the bathroom" variety pass for news.
Today, for instance, "truth" was concerned with four-legged chickens and a remarkably overweight Russian woman who'd found success as a sumo wrestler. A mouse was found in a bag of potato chips, and coffee was discovered to cure baldness. The deep thoughts of American actresses and starlets were recorded as if meaningful.
It is as if the entire Soviet nation is reduced to the crudest version of a supermarket tabloid as a source of news.
While other countries appear to have more sophisticated sources and concerns, we really don't. "News" continues to be what we are to be told and how we are to be distracted.

News.
I. Identify Enemies & Problems.
As discussed above, news has content for each of its two purposes. The first use of the news is to tell people who their enemies are. Sometimes, domestic enemies are "union bosses". Other times, "greedy executives". "Unscrupulous developers" have been popular for so long that "developers" stand alone.
Foreign enemies change with great rapidity. "The Compassionate Shah of Iran" was quickly replaced with "concerned Moslem clergy." Hitler and Stalin were near war, at peace, then at war, within a couple of years.
Illegal immigrants go from "Destroyers of our culture." to "doing the jobs we won't do." depending who's deciding what the news is.
"Problems" must be endlessly invented to provide justifications both for maintaining and increasing taxation and regulations.
II. Provide distractions.
Celebrities are an ever-handy way to provide distractions. Amazingly, a man who's lost his job and looking for work will be distracted from his very real problems by watching a bubble-headed teen-aged girl sharing what purport to be her own thoughts about global warming. Amazingly, over 40% of English speaking people will actually change their opinions to match with those of celebrities whom they frequently see.
People are also distracted by short shots about animals. Animals can be falling through the ice, stuck in trees, or beached along the ocean. For some reason, people will sit spellbound several times a month watching animals in odd places, always giving a sigh of relief when the poor thing is rescued.
It's always popular to distract people with crime. Crime must be maintained at high levels to provide excuses for Public Safety. Drugs are kept illegal to generate high profit margins that fuel endless "turf wars" between "drug gangs" and "warlords".
Histories of how celebrities went from modest beginnings to fabulous opulence are proven distractions. Celebrities will repeat the same stories over and over again. For over half a century, Pat Boone has never gotten tired of repeating, thousands of times, "Yes, it's true. I am descended from Daniel Boone".
Weather is an important TV distraction. In many cities, several "meterologists" tell people what a map on the computer screen could tell them for free, if it were allowed to have temperatures superimposed on moving cloud masses.
Weather is so popular that it can easily be graduated from "Distraction" to "Problem", at great profit to entire industries. People tend to believe anything they are told about the weather. Many are so gullible that they can live smack in the middle of months with freakishly cold weather, like this month and the one before it, and still be made to worry about "global warming".

Poets sum up things.
All of us have an awareness that things are not what they should be. But, few of us try to make things better.
"The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."
William Butler Yeats
When we see howling hordes of tax-addicted citizens clamoring for "progress", we cringe in horror at the awfulness that would accompany their having what they want. In the darkest part of their hearts, the worst of them want to be Stalin, Mao, Kim Il Sung, Castro, or Pol Pot; dictators with total, lifetime power. The lesser among them want to be in charge of smaller groups whom they can terrorize, pillage, enslave, and kill at will.
They can only achieve that goal with death and terror. As we grow in understanding the source of their "passionate intensity", we understand that it comes from hordes of demons, darkening minds from which they have driven love.

80% of Democrats + 30% of Republicans = The Government Party.
Those who live in two-party countries know that taxes usually go up, rarely stay the same, and never go down.
Stepping back, we see not two parties, but one party with two visible wings. The Republican wing works to maintain the flow of money from taxpayers. The Democratic wing labors just as mightily to increase the flow of money from taxpayers. The two parties are the wings that keep the huge, swelling body of the Government Party aloft.
That discovery helps us understand the near-impossibility of reducing levels of taxation and spending. Why are there two parties? Each manifests differences to attract the two basic types of personality.
People who take from their neighbors tend to vote for the left. Those truly in the private sector, those avoiding state controls, tend to vote for the right. As the number of those getting money from their neighbors increases, the Democratic wing grows stronger.
To keep supporters in office, the Republican wing must move ever farther toward positions that justify taking. The dwindling number of free people is increasingly marginalized.
Since the days when Baal was more visible on earth, both wings of the Government Party have done as they are told. People and activities are devoured by The Government Party. It soon controls trade, education, medicine, communications, food production, and is quick to expand into every area. As it does so, those on one side cry out, "More!", the others want "Less!", and the Government Party circles ever-downward to its inevitable crash.
Like the Phoenix, Government Parties rise and fall until The Program reaches it's appointed end. Our job is to be careful not to be taken in by the self-serving wings of either wing, but to focus on The Programmer who wrote the biggest program ever.

Apportioning guilt.
Guilt is paralyzing. Catholic Fundamentalists are so eternally grateful that The Programmer downloaded a "Forgiveness Program" that many are drawn to The Church simply so they can access it. Absolution is a relief that's indescribable to those unable to receive it.
Before we realize the power of Confession, we to try to remove guilt by quibbling, like the scribes and Pharisees. "Well, I really didn't do exactly that, there were reasons beyond my control, I really didn't want to", etc.
After St. Paul saw the light, he wrote to his former co-religionists to show them how the Hebrew faith validated the divinity of Christ. In his letter to the Hebrews, he described God's ability to “separate thought from intent”, Hebrews, 10:4. (Catholic Fundamentalists believe that Ten Tribes of Hebrew people became the ancestors of most peoples from India to Ireland. St. Paul's letter was addressed to all Hebrews, not just the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi in Southern Israel.)
Separating thought from intent helps us to separate ordinary behavior from sin. That fragment of St. Paul's sentence is an invisible foundation stone in our system of justice. A man convicted of causing a death can be given different sentences based on his intent.
A death caused by negligence or accident is punished less severely than murder in the first degree. The more thought given to the deed before doing it, the more punishment is incurred.
A thought is different enough from an intent to do wrong that it can be analyzed separately from it. The more merciful and God-like the judicial system, the more clear the separation will be made between thought and intent and the better the punishment will fit the crime.
But, when government becomes overly devoted to its own power, jails need to be filled. More defendants are then found to be “guilty as charged” without taking motivation and extenuating circumstances into account. When the State is growing unhealthily, "maximum sentences" become the norm. Not to "protect society", but to increase the power of the penal system.
As a nation gives longer sentences for ever-lesser crimes, it provides jobs for those whose increased employment is an ever-growing justification for blurring the lines between a prosecutor's meat ax and God's scalpel.
The self-righteous fairly glow at the opportunity of long sentences. Their guilt is the greatest of all. Their crime is not that they are blind, but that they say they see. Their punishment at Judgment is to be feared because the intent to hurt a neighbor is clearly there.

Programming in 3 dimensions.
Once we have drawn closer to God, we have a clear duty to help others make the same trip. Caucasians, sons of Shem, think we have an advantage. Most, if not all of us, are genetically related to Abraham and his ancestors. Since "God can make children of Abraham out of stones", our relationship to The Programmer, ultimately, can be no closer than the believing children of Ham and Japheth.
When we stop what we are doing long enough to look at some nearby portion of the world, we understand that we are seeing a small part of a huge, globular Program on which we spend the amount of time allotted.
We realize that the stage was programmed in place out of little bits of energy. It's sole purpose was to give us, The Programmer's favorite program, free will. One universal mission is clear, to choose to love, rather than hate, our neighbor.
As St. Paul told us, "We do not do battle with men, but with powers and principalities." As we understand more, we see that other people lead their neighbors into death and darkness. Those who lead their neighbors away from life and light are possessed by demonic beings.
We must work to "pray their evil spirits away". Prayers, of course, are requests for programming assistance.
That's why there are saints and angels, intermediaries between us and The Programmer. In a company based on programming, one must go through channels to "get to the top". Similarly, we may begin dealing with the sub-programmers, beginning with our Guardian Angel, and progressing to the Saints and Angels in charge of, or well connected to, that portion of The Programmer's operation that deals with our type of problem.

Perfidious Albion, devouring its own.
His self-control destroyed by the third stage of syphilis, the 8th Henry anointed himself as head of England's Church. Things have been going downhill since. Now, vanities reign supreme over a realm in which all people have been reduced to two classes.
The ruling class is made of thieves. All others are their victims. England's rulers no longer love their neighbors, but work to return them to the serfdom of the pre-Catholic era.
The English are disarmed and helpless. The tyrants' boots are being laced. Death and slavery are near.
Shudder, North America. You are next.

Light
"Let there be light." began the process during which The Programmer programmed. We, individual programs living in a vastly larger compilation of programs, now understand that light is not just what we see. "Light" is an Iron Age word for "The energy spectrum".
The Programmer began by programming the entire spectrum of energy. There are two kinds of energy, living and dead. Fire is dead energy. Our spirits are living energy. Gravity is a dead energy. Angels are living energy.
Angels are packets of living energy. They have free will. Some chose to disobey The Programmer. Loyal angels drove them out of Heaven to the place from which their leader directs them to do everything they can to destroy our souls.
When we see, we only see emanations or reflections of energy. We see them, and say that we see. What we do not see is where we see.
The light goes through the clear fluid in the eye. It travels to the retina, is "bio-digitized", and travels down the optic nerve. There, it is sent to the brain and filed away for long or short term storage.
Let us be clear. What is being stored in our minds is a form of light.
Those who store up a great deal of light are said to be "bright".

Lighten up.
While on his way to exterminate Christians, St. Paul was delayed on the road to Damascus. He "saw the light".
That light was of such a unique intensity that it was able to go through his eye, down his optic nerve, and beam into his brain with enough strength to alter the countless billions of bits of light that had arranged themselves in a pattern that prompted him to destroy Christianity.
We are not that bright. Our attempts at telling our neighbors that they have souls and should try to save them rarely have such an effect.
St. Paul went temporarily blind. The light was of such intensity that it erased much of the light structures stored in his mind. It was an individual and far more complicated version of the Moslems burning the Great Library at Alexandria. In that process, light destroyed patterns of light recorded in acres of scrolls.
When St. Paul "saw the light", it erased the light patterns carefully stored and arranged in his own mind. Suddenly, the most fervent Jew became the most enthusiastic Christian.
That's why we should love our enemies. Our worst enemies merely have the misfortune to have disordered thoughts in their minds. Those thoughts lead them, like St. Paul, to murder their enemies. Those thoughts can also be changed. Enemies can become brothers, as Paul and Peter.
Disordered thoughts are those without love. Disordered thoughts exist because demons pile up bits of light in distorted, twisted ways in human minds. As the disorder becomes habitual, it is ever harder to see that the light of the world is love.

Light box.
A tv set is a lot like a living light bulb. It broadcasts moving pictures into our brain. Television is a great asset to those who control it.
The most interesting thing to watch on television is our self. If we watch our self watch television, we can learn a great deal.
When we watch a talk show, we may find ourselves nodding in agreement. A "news" broadcast may make us outraged. Another segment makes us smile, while another makes us nod knowingly.
The people who wrote and produced the show knew what our reactions would be. All shows are on TV to help guide our thoughts and reactions. Once we are aware of that, we are less susceptible to being brainwashed.
Those unable to save themselves are also unable to view television critically enough to understand the broadcaster's motivations. Such simple souls are easily led down one primrose path after another. Some will become angry if we point out their gullibility.
The inability to keep more than one thought in one’s mind at a time makes it easier for newsspewers to control our thinking.
When we train ourselves to ask "who is benefiting?" at every broadcast, we gradually set ourselves free. As we go down that road, we see that the TV does not broadcast facts, but opinions that those in charge want us to adopt as our own.
Those involved in selecting what is broadcast are very susceptible to bribery.

Light reflections.
Aside from the rare occasions we look at stained glass or into some source of direct light, all we see are reflections. We can only grow closer to truth by reflecting reality, so while we are saying "I see a blue bird.", we should know that we are really saying "I see a bird whose feathers absorb all the colors that are not blue." As we get into the habit of doing that, we understand that basic communication and its underlying reality are different.
Seeing a cornfield glistening in the sun should make us realize that we are seeing wavelengths, or particles, of light bouncing off countless, individual leaves as they move in the wind.
As we habitually try to make our words match what is happening, our mind begins to more closely examine how it fits into the world around it.
All we see is light. Our pupils restrict light when there is too much of it. They open to admit more light when there is too little of it. When we think about how much light the sun puts out, and how little of it is reflected into our own eyes, we can consider how much greater The Programmer is than we are.
The fact that He loves us enough to have asked His most obedient Son to die for us becomes all the more amazing.

Shadows.
Bright people are able to see cause and effect. They can, for instance, see a new mine going into an area and say: "This new mine will provide jobs for many people. It will provide material for goods that people need. It will help keep the costs of manufacturing down. More people can then get more things they need.
Others focus on completely different aspects of the new mine. "Animal life will be threatened. Ecosystems will be damaged. Watersheds will be harmed."
While it's tempting to call such people "idiots", the Bible says we can't. They are our neighbors, and we have to love them. One way is to actually wade through the twisted, tortured mishmash of stale, tired ideas and try to understand why these people are the way they are.
We find that they, themselves, do not love their neighbors. They would rather see natives go on starving than see them get jobs and build their own homes in which they can raise their own families.
Their reasons for stopping progress are always the same. They invariably concoct and embrace some "higher goal", that can always be preferred to having other people be better off.
Once we understand that they are not going to Heaven (for not loving their neighbor), it's hard to hate and despise them. We see the possibility of endless joy. They see nothing past retirement.
We are so much more fortunate to see the bright, clear light and the impenetrable darkness. They live in the shadows. Pretending to do good, they do great evil. Many of them live their lives where every commandment is followed except that exhortation to love their neighbor.
Pretending to help, they hurt many people. Blinded by their own self-righteousness, their souls shrivel. Arrogant. Uncompromising. Unforgiving. And, always so very, very right.

Strainers, separators, and filters.
Strainers, separators, and filters separate what is desired from what isn't. They take many forms. Dairy farmers use separators to separate milk from cream. A winnower drops wheat and chaff through a screen to separate them. Tea bags allow fluid to flow through while keeping dried leaves out of the cup. Filters on gas lines and at the end of cigarettes keep even smaller particles from entering oxidation chambers.
The Programmer separates souls. Those who go to Heaven are eternally separated from the others.
The Creation Program was downloaded so that each soul has an opportunity to get through God's spiritual filters. He separates those who love Him and their neighbors from those who do not. Those who are pro-life love their neighbors more than those who accept the death of unborn children. They, absent the presence of other mortal sins, are among the saved.
It seems quite impossible for those who are not pro-life ("Those who are not with us are against us.") to be saved.
Anyone can picture himself standing before The Bench before a jury made up of souls torn prematurely from their bodies. They know who their friends and enemies were.
That's a very good reason to do what we can for life.
