Wednesday, April 1, 2009 Catholic Fundamentalism is the spiritual equivalent of the unified field theory. It sums up all Creation with the theory that God can program in three dimensions. He, and/or His Sub-programmers, are able to program particles, and then compile those particles into structures, systems, and beings. The other side has always tried to replace God with some sort of automatic process that would account for all there is. At the same time, those allies who say they believe in Him endlessly work to diminish His power. The other side presents us with either no God at all, or a slow, weak God that they make in their image. Since Catholic Fundamentalism follows traditional Catholic teaching, we understand that He programmed a universe that would provide us with free will. For our belief to be meaningful, we had to be able to look at far-off stars, or at what may be seen as ancient fossils, and ignore ordinary teachings about them. The chosen reasonably conclude that the Bible is an accurate portrayal of His programming. Those whom He chooses have the faith and obedience, which is what He uses to select His chosen, to believe in Him, His Church, and His Word, despite what the other side teaches. Catholic Fundamentalism reflects a belief in a powerful God and in the accuracy of His Word. It is the most revolutionary approach to the Roman Catholic Church since Pascal developed Probability Theory and used it to choose The Church. Interestingly, few professional Catholics are supportive of Catholic Fundamentalism. That's as it should be.
Thursday, April 2, 2009 It's a great mystery why Catholic Fundamentalism is so studiously ignored by Catholic experts. When we think about it, we see that every Sacrament of The Church is explained, and is actually made reasonable, by Catholic Fundamentalism: Baptism: Baptism provides the re-programming necessary to erase the errors of Original Sin, an inherited programming error written into individual programs by Adam and Eve. Confession/Reconciliation: This Sacrament allows for the necessary erasure of errors that creep into our operating systems. Communion: This is a miraculously complicated program. It allows the re-programming of wheat and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. It is a sign that our individual program is allowed to be strengthened so that it can accept the ongoing downloads, re-programmings, and assistance of The Holy Wireless Connector. He keeps us in touch with The Programmer, The Program (CFs believe that Jesus Christ, "the Word" is The Program, in perfect, obedient, human form), and the created entities around us. Confirmation: When our individual program has been made acceptable to The Programmer, we have that state of grace more permanently written within us, downloading a continually purifying program within us. Matrimony: This allows us to re-program ourselves in the best way to create/write/download new human programs to follow us. Anointing of the sick: This re-programming has two functions, to repair/re-program damaged body and brain programs and to prepare the soul for uploading into Programming HQ. Holy Orders: This is the deepest re-programming possible. It allows a man to download the power to provide all the divine re-programming listed above to his fellow human programs.
Thursday, April 3, 2009 Vanity is always the enemy of truth and salvation. We can consider the reasonableness of Catholic Fundamentalism, and ask "Why can't people understand that simply defining God as "A Being Who Can Program Particles, and then compile them into system and beings." is a big step toward letting people see that it's reasonable to believe in God? We are left with an obvious supposition: people just can't bear to think of a God who's that much smarter than they are. We get comfortable with, and attached to, our own ideas about things. Catholic Fundamentalism may help us to admit we've spent most of our lives as credulous fools. That's what most of us were, when we believed nonsensical theories like evolution, global warming, and an earth so ancient that if it were anywhere close to being 20 billion years old, it would have collapsed of its own weight. The enemy of faith is always vanity. The amazing thing about Catholic Fundamentalism is that it actually does make us feel pretty good about ourselves. After all, if the same God Who programmed all creation in less than a week wants us to spend eternity with Him, we must be very special.
Friday, April 4, 2009 "The truth shall set you free." Minds, like computers, cannot work properly if they are corrupted with viruses and errors. When we see that God has the power to provide both the original and ongoing programming that helps us through life in the larger Creation Program, we don't have to take errors and viruses seriously. When, for instance, we free ourselves from the grotesque lies about Global Warming, our minds work better as the imaginary boogeymen are chased away by the cold facts. When we liberate ourselves from silliness like evolution, we see God and His awesome programming power more clearly than ever. As we progress toward understanding God as the Loving, Unprogrammed Programmer, we see that He wrote and downloaded a vast multi-dimensional program in which we, individual free-will programs, live. We also see a world in which viruses try to destroy the very souls around which each of us free-will programs were downloaded. Our awareness starts with thinking that the worst people are merely wrong. As we study how they seem to embrace error after error, we charitably think they are confused. We may then progress to thinking that they are disturbed, and then reasonably consider the possibility that they are insane. We then move to realizing that many are death-loving homicidal maniacs. Eventually, we realize that they have embraced evil, or been overpowered by it, in the form of spiritual and intellectual viruses. These forces of destruction disturb their minds to such a degree than they not only refuse to think rationally, but have chosen to do harm rather than good. When we free ourselves of the desire to hate the various groups of murderous lunatics, and obey the command "Love your neighbors, do good to them that hurt you.", we are finally free.
Saturday, April 5, 2009 How automation caused Public Education. Throughout all history, any government's greatest struggle is with overpopulation. When food production became easier in the early 1900s, fewer farmers were needed. The "extra" people couldn't be allowed to hang around and make trouble. Factories sprang up to keep them busy, and a "New Age of Mechanization" was heralded. Societal efficiencies ensure engineering and production improvements that require fewer and fewer people to provide the necessities of life. "Extra" people have been drafted into military duty, put to work on temples and pyramids, made to mine, dig canals, or to labor on walls, buildings, aqueducts, or whatever else their leaders thought was important. Catholic Monarchies had, in some cases, rebuilt societies into Garden-of-Eden-like places where crime was so reduced that "A pregnant woman could safely carry a bag of gold across England." Efficient monarchies were helped by the great monasteries. In the thousand years that Europe was Catholic, many of the "extra" people went into convents and monasteries. There, they invented and staffed hospitals and colleges. They also worked and prayed. Those prayers fashioned themselves into a bulwark that lasted until God decided to grant peoples' desires for more freedom. He did this reluctantly, as when letting the Israelites have a king, but didn't think He should stand in their way. Catholic Fundamentalists imagine Him saying, "What's the point of giving them free will if I don't give them free will?" In His infinite wisdom, Kings were allowed to be replaced with Committees. About that time, automation increased. Instead of thinking about God, men thought about things and new ways to make them. Advances in producing, processing, and transporting cloth, food, lumber, minerals, and medicine allowed fewer people to get more things made and moved. There were too many people, too few jobs. At first, they marched the extras into muzzle-loaders. Then, as automation increased, into machine guns. That quickly became very unpopular. Gulags and mass murders were implemented. Nothing could keep enough people off the streets. "Let's try Public Education!", said some of the less bloodthirsty Marxists. Over the course of a few decades, ever-smaller classes of ever-more poorly educated students were forced to attend school for ever-longer periods to learn what their parents learned in a few months. Dozens of billions of hours were wasted. As automation and importing put even more producers out of work, "Certification" was developed to keep even more people off the street. Utterly useless, contradictory, often insane theories of education were invented. Experts said: "Even if we do not agree with them, we must respect and study them in order to be certified." Once, only idiots were certifiable. Now, the most highly certified people in the world are school superintendents. They have to be very, very sure that no very smart, very honest person is ever allowed to be a school superintendent. Learning to read, write, and do arithmetic were made complicated and difficult. Elitists thought they were far more secure with hordes of illiterate, uneducated underlings beneath them. Public Education was able to provide throngs of howling incompetents with the brilliant inefficiency and high cost expected from it. One goal of the state is met when millions of people are kept off the street, and Public Education met it. More state goals were met as millions were so thoroughly self-focused they no longer believed such a thing as "truth" even exists. Better, from the state's point of view, is that most are so historically ignorant they cannot understand just why it is that there are so many, many "community" activities, and why participating in them never seems to make things better. Even though so many monasteries were destroyed, believers still pray. Probably more than ever.
Saturday, April 4, 2009 Bowing before the King of the Ismaelites.
Catholic Fundamentalists believe that the people of the Arabian Peninsula are descended from Ishmael, the son of Abraham by Hagar, Sarah's serving girl. We also believe that the peoples of Europe are largely descended from the Ten Northern Tribes, also descended from Abraham through Sarah, in the person of Isaac. The battles between Isaac's sons (from which the name "Saxon", a shortening of "Isaac's sons", appears to originate) and Ishmael's manifest the most ancient of animosities. Today, it appears that the President of the United States shows far more respect, if not outright obeisance, toward the most powerful Ishmaelite ruler than to the Queen of England, whom he greeted with rehearsed uprightness, rather than a bow. Mr. Obama is partly descended from Ismaelite slavers who settled in Eastern Africa. In the above photograph, he is portrayed as identifying more with his father's ancestor than his mother's. He's also saying "Thank you!" to the man who provided him uncounted monies, crucial funding for his election. The man to whom Mr. Obama bowed is also the head of the same country that supplied the terrorists who flew planes into American buildings, killing American people. Those people, like Mr. Obama's campaign, were partly funded by the Ishmaelite government led by the same King who is receiving Mr. Obama's bow.
Monday, April 6, 2009 The Kingdoms of the Ismaelites do a lot of hating. Most Christians believe that they have a duty to love their neighbors. The command from Christ is simple, "Love your neighbors, do good to them that hate you." While few of us are able to obey fully, for the most part, our behavior is changed to some degree by knowing that the founder of our faith requires us to love our neighbors. The Ishmaelites, on the other hand, are taught that if they kill any of their neighbors who believe differently, paradise is their reward. Both the Ismaelites and Isaac's sons believe in Heaven. It's hard to imagine that both of them are right about the way to get there. It may be that Heaven is a place where those who love go. Souls who choose to hate may end up with permanent residency in some other place that is Heaven to them. Their idea of hell certainly seems to include places where people love their neighbors.
Tuesday, April 7, 2009 The sons of Ishmael are often filled with an anger that hurts the poor and weakest and females among them in many ways. Rage, and the self-righteousness that justifies it, is such a large part of their lives that they have institutionalized them in both family and public organizations. Like the Communists, the countries of Ishmael rely on hate and fear to keep people in line. At the lowest levels, their families are ruled by fear of their near-omnipotent father and husband. Public floggings, genital mutilation, honor killings, and stoning are common among them. Some wives have had their noses and heads cut off by jealous or angry husbands. It's hard for there to be cheerful, loving, happy families under such rule. Their religious organizations are fearful of the most hateful individuals and groups among them. Their most extreme haters are largely immune from meaningful prosecution or punishment for any crime committed in the name of their beliefs. As a result, they are encouraged to give vent to their own hate and frustration by killing others, even those who share the basics of their faith but differ from them the way Presbyterians may differ from Lutherans. Their governments can only survive by paying off the most dangerous elements. Most Ishmaelite governments make a practice of sending their surplus populations to other countries. That process is aided by bribing public officials in the invaded nations to allow such immigration. Once they are entrenched in foreign countries, they do everything they can to destroy the earlier inhabitants. An ongoing target is freedom. The sons of Ishmael simply hate freedom, and will do everything they can to destroy it.
Wednesday, April 8, 2009 The sons of Ishmael and slavery. The sons of Ishmael think there's nothing wrong with slavery. Today, Arabians buy many slaves from the Sudan and other parts of Africa. Those whom they kidnap and purchase are condemned to lifetimes of servitude. Those who buy them don't think they're doing anything wrong. Currently, the going price for a young Negro slave in the Sudan is in the neighborhood of $20.00. Several Christian groups try to buy the slaves, and set them free. The Ishmaelites are upset about that. They think it "doesn't make us look good.", and would prefer that we simply ignore the entire process. Spiritually, not all Ishmaelites are descended from Ishmael. Some come from other ancestors, but are so interested in owning slaves of their own that they don't mind enslaving their neighbors. They don't do it as blatantly, with chains and whips. Those who want free labor from others now use the legislative process to turn their tax-paying neighbors into slaves. Most of us are enslaved half of each year in order to pay the taxes levied on us by those who "own" the taxable portions of our lives. While our lives are not as bad as the slaves in Arabia, they're heading in that direction. The Loving Programmer went to all the trouble of making us a universe that would provide us with free will. He does not like slavery because slaves do not have free will in as many areas of their lives as He wanted. But, His command to us is clear, "Slaves, obey your masters." So, we do. We know that we will be judged on how well we obeyed Him, and that they will be judged on how much freedom they took away from us. Those who want more tax-slavery in the countries that were once Christian are learning much about enslaving their neighbors from the sons of Ishmael.
Thursday, April 9, 2009 The sons of Ishmael and women. Women don't have a very happy life with the sons of Ishmael. Not only are they rarely allowed to vote, they aren't allowed to do much of anything. A recent video showed a woman being publicly whipped. No one knew quite what her crime was, but it involved being seen with a man to whom she was not married. This criminalizing of trivia forces every woman living in an Ishmaelite country to be in perpetual fear. Each must always worry if the slightest action will result in punishment or death. This fear makes each woman susceptible to blackmail. In many Ishmaelite countries, it is the painful custom to remove the clitorises of young girls. This is done in a special ceremony, ostensibly for reasons of "cleanliness". It actually removes a part of each woman mistreated, and reduces her to being less of a woman than God intended her to be. Ishmaelite countries allow a man to have many wives. Rich men have many. Each wife worries about being replaced with a newer, younger, prettier, richer model. That fear keeps them from doing anything but be obsequious. If the Ishmaelite husband wants to get rid of a wife, he has but to say "I divorce you." three times, and the "marriage" is over. That doesn't exactly fill women with courage or self-confidence. Their fears have grown because of the internet. Recently, a son of Ishmael divorced his wife with an e-mail. In the Ishmaelite countries, women are slightly better off than slaves, but not much.
Friday, April 10, 2009 The left are spiritual sons of Ishmael. We have seen in the above columns how those who are genetically descended from Ishmael are inclined toward, or are forced into, systems that are based on hatred, death, fear, and slavery. Ishmael has spiritual descendants, too. The, too, love to enslave their neighbors and kill the old and unborn, whom they deem useless. We know them as "leftists" and "liberals". In the beginning stages of their grab for power, Ishmael's spiritual offspring tend to focus on raising taxes and increasing regulations in the name of "liberty, equality, and fraternity". Today, they boil that down into a fight for "fairness". In the periods where they lack the total control for which they endlessly work, they have to pretend to be "helping" by raising taxes and putting ever more Draconian regulations into place. Many are fooled by their protestations of trying to "help". Most of us are not fooled by those who claim to be "helping". We merely lack the courage to fight against the organized taxing and regulating powers that quickly focus on destroying those who disagree too much or too effectively. Saturday, April 11, 2009 Illegitimacy has consequences. Some commentators have suggested that Hagar's anger toward Isaac and his sons was passed on to her son, Ishmael. Hagar, it will be remembered, was "given" to Abraham by Sarah, his wife. Sarah was unable to conceive, but when she did, years after Hagar gave birth to Ishmael, she knew that Hagar and Ishmael had to go. Sarah knew that there could be but one "eldest son of Abraham", and that son would be hers, not "that bastard". So, Sarah made Abraham get rid of Hagar and Ishmael. They went from living with the richest household in the area to having nothing. Hagar is thought by many to have spent the rest of her life telling Ishmael that his duty was to get revenge on Isaac, whose birth prompted their exile. At the time, divorce was as simple as it still is among the sons of Ishmael. That indicates that they did nothing to keep later Hagars and Ishmaels from being similarly stripped of all they would have been able to claim in the countries whose religions, and possibly peoples, have more thoroughly embraced the divorce teachings of the Jews and Christians. Those who treated women as equals legislated concepts like "alimony" and "child support" and "distribution of marital assets" to their more civilized nations and peoples. With nothing but God's promise to help her, Abraham gave Hagar a loaf of bread, a skin of water, and sent her and Ismael on their way. The sons of Ishmael have had the demons of anger reigning supreme among them since, though it must be noted that, when Abraham died, of all Abraham's less legitimate children, only Ishmael and Isaac are recorded to have helped bury him. Genesis, 25;18, describing Ishmael, the Bible says, "He set himself to defy his brothers." Some things never change.
Sunday, April 12, 2009 When we think of He Who has risen, we may give a thought to whose who won't. We who believe as fully as Catholic Fundamentalists have a glimmer of The Loving Programmer's immense power. Not only was He able to program particles, and compile them into the free will-allowing systems and beings around us, but also, He was able to allow Himself to be erased by those who hate Him and then, Himself, be re-programmed back to life, both on earth and to His eternal reign in Heaven. The same promise of ourselves being able to join with Him there has been granted to every human being on earth. Since we have to be obedient to His commands to save our souls, the disobedient will not let themselves be saved. They are simply too concerned with the things of the world to be bothered aligning themselves with the next. Today's second reading sums it up well: "Brothers and sisters: When we find ourselves entranced with earthly things, and that includes things of the mind like Darwinism, excessive environmentalism, and alternative cosmologies, we do so because we follow agents for the other side who labor to lead each of our souls to their dark domains below. Listening to, and following them, is the biggest mistake that can be made.
Monday, April 13, 2009 Global Warming is an IQ test. The smartest people are the ones who spot a fraud the most quickly. Those who have always thought a fraud like Global Warming was ridiculous are the smartest in this IQ test. The dumbest are those who continue to believe in it. We are seeing a turnaround. A few years ago, the percentage of articles printed by the leftist, pro-government, pro-tax media shills was ninety nine percent pro-Global Warming. Now, it's fifty-fifty. As time goes by, only virtual morons will believe in Global Warming. Already, those in the huge "lump" of the bell curve are beginning to realize that they will lose more intellectual credibility if they go along with the increasingly obviousness of the fraud. How do we know that the rats are jumping off the ship? The magazine, Vanity Fair, after three annual "green" issues is not publishing one this year. Most of its readers are pseudo-intellectual rich people. When they start to see that Global Warming is a fraud, the dumber and poorer pseudo-intellectuals are sure to follow.
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 The refusal to be embarrassed by reality. Every good leftists knows that he lies all day and every day. Lost souls are proud when they're caught lying, and follow by telling another whopper. They can't ever say "I'm sorry. I was wrong. In the future, I will try to find and tell the truth." Instead, when one of their lies is discredited, they race to embrace another. When we ask "Why?", we can accept Jesus's answer: "Their father is the father of lies." They are, themselves, actually lies in human form. It is very hard to frighten them with the fear of unending punishment. They know that they are damned, and still, they lie. Their lies are a part of them. Among the most hardened, professional liars, lies are all they have, and their lies are all they are. The father of lies has given them a mission. "Lie, and tell others to believe these lies. Thus, will you be honored in my Kingdom when your soul comes to me." None of them are able to understand that the father of lies is telling them the biggest lie of all. There is no joy awaiting them. Not ever. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Wednesday, April 15, 2009 Vanity blinds us to God and His power. Catholic Fundamentalism offers a clearer view of God and His power than any other cosmology. By seeing Him as "The Unprogrammed Programmer", we envision a Being Who has the power to have programmed and downloaded all that there is in less than a week. To give credit where it is due, we have to praise the Fundamentalists for having believed for so long without having conceived of God as having the ability to program particles and compile them into systems and beings. Their faith, like those who did what Thomas could not do, "believe without seeing", makes them one of the most commendable groups in history. Likewise, Catholics have kept their faith alive. They have followed Scripture, in some ways more punctiliously than our Protestant counterparts. The passages in John, 6; 53-59 make it clear that we have to "eat His flesh and drink His blood", both things made possible by the Catholic miracle of Transubstantiation by which wafer and wine become Body and Blood. Combining Fundamentalists' faith with Catholic obedience brings us to Catholic Fundamentalism, the newest approach to God since Pascal developed Probability Theory and applied it to choosing a religion. The vain, on the other hand, are blind to, and blind themselves to, God. They feel insulted by any belief in any being that makes their individual efforts appear to be as puny and wretched as they are. Such vanity draws a curtain across their minds, making God and His power invisible. When we can say, "He is the potter, I am the clay.", we do much to destroy our vanity. As our own vanity diminishes, the curtain in our own mind begins to disappear and we get a clearer view of God and of His power. Then, we may begin to download the tiny portions of His Program that we are able to comprehend. We grow in joy as we do so. Rare that a cartoon is so prophetic. After seventy five years, things still haven't changed. The bitter, hateful people of the left are still ravaging American taxpayers. Now, they're entrenched in any number of institutions that barely existed in 1934. Then, there were a lot of state universities absorbing many of the angry leftists, the poisonous fruit that came from the "land grant" schools. The New Deal promised jobs for many more useless organizations. But, the big foundations that endlessly fund assaults on the citizenry were not yet as swollen and dangerous. Then, the enemy was Communism, bitter children of the French Revolution. Now, the hatred crystallized among the sons of Ishmael is a more powerful force. It is as if the Communists were merely the face of one prism of hatred, with the far more dangerous Ishmaelites waiting until they had destroyed themselves. The question is whether the two sources of institutionalized hate, Communism and Ishmaelism, will combine or battle each other into oblivion. A few years ago, with the Russians fighting them in Southern Russia, it looked as if they might battle each other. Now, reasons for them to ally are emerging. Neither the Communists nor the Ishmaelites have been good at producing anything but energy. Energy extraction is a fairly simple process, and they are able to drill wells for gas and oil that they can sell to the remaining Christians. It appears that they've divided the European/American customer base. Russians are supplying natural gas with the Ishmaelites are supplying most of the liquid hydrocarbons. They can go on funding their hate as long as their environmentalist allies and paid helpers can keep the West from building more nuclear reactors. On the other hand, there is one sign that the Russians understand that their enemy is the same as ours. Thursday, April 16, 2009 Bribes. One of the things media outlets are never allowed to thoroughly investigate is the widespread bribing of public officials. A few months ago, there was a brief flurry of outrage when it was discovered that Chirac, the former President of France, had squirreled away forty million dollars in one Japanese bank. The clear implication was that he'd deposited far more money in other accounts, lucrative payments for his ten year term of office. The "investigation" stopped almost immediately thereafter. When we look at the relationship between campaign contributions and benefits to contributors, it becomes apparent that .5% of the expected gain is all that's necessary to pay, usually in "campaign contributions" to obtain the passage of favorable legislation. All governments are susceptible to this sort of corruption. Elected officials almost always retire from public office with millions of dollars that appear, as if by magic, in their various accounts. It is a rare official that can withstand the temptation. But, this is why we have Democracy. Catholic Fundamentalism has, as a political tenet, that God, The Loving Programmer, allowed democracies to exist simply to allow more people to be tested by temptation. Every elected official, from the school board member who uses his position to get a job for some ne'er do well relative to a President or Vice-President who uses his office to fund a vast "foundation" has been tested, and failed. When a country was ruled by a King, only the ruler and his immediate entourage were in a position to take bribes. "It's not fair!", said those who were not in a position to profit from the process. So, we now have huge governments, endless staffs, and lots of elected officials, all of whom are forgetting that laughing all the way to the bank is followed by a far longer time of never laughing, again.

Most of our problems are easy to identify and able to be solved: Problem Proven Solution Malaria DDT Poor public education Vouchers, phonics, math drills Expensive energy Build more nuclear reactors High oil prices Drill more wells Illegal immigration Secure borders Drug-related crime Legalize more drugs Overly complicated taxes Flat rate Housing shortage Remove unnecessary regulations Drunk driving After three convictions, time in jail
All problems have safe, simple solutions that will markedly reduce, if not eliminate, them. Rather than do that, most public officials prefer to grandstand, embracing unworkable solutions to very real problems. They focus attention on sure-to-fail solutions while allowing the real problems to grow and fester, providing profit for those who donate to their campaigns. Problems are milked for all they're worth. Whenever possible, every problem is turned into a "crisis". The news media exists to help elevate each "problem" to "crisis". Public officials like problems. Each problem turned into a crisis provides excuses to hire the otherwise unemployable throngs made jobless by automation and imports. No government will never solve a problem unless forced to do so. In that event, they will make the "solution" in such a way as to provide the largest possible number of jobs and the greatest possible amount of funding. There is a vast IQ gap between those who understand this and the pitiful boobs who believe the flood of lies that flood forth from public officials thorugh their obedient shills when they talk about the latest "crisis". The best, or worst, thing about Democracy is that it allows those who have no idea their minds are stuffed full of lies to continue putting the most effective liars in office, where the deluded simpletons who vote for them can be made continually poorer. When so considered, Democracy may be described as lemming kamikaze. Friday, April 17, 2009 Christian Apologetics. "Christian Apologetics" is one of those phrases that make little sense on the surface. "I apologize for telling you the truth about the world we live in and the one we're going to because I want your soul to know eternal joy." is one meaning. Another is: "I apologize because you're so wrong about things, but I simply am compelled to tell you about God and His coming judgment, because if I don't, my own soul will be judged with results that will be eternally painful to me. I apologize for the disruption to your view of the world." Even among Christians, views that cause us to change our own minds are often painful. Many Christians believe, for instance, in evolution. Catholic Fundamentalists, on the other hand, believe it's just another ploy the other side manufactured to separate our souls from their Creator. We believe that God, The Loving Unprogrammed Programmer, programmed particles and compiled them into vast systems and complicated beings for one reason, to give us free will. As a result, He had to program a cosmos in which we were all free to believe in Him, or not. We are also given the freedom to see Him as a reflection of ourselves, which is where ideas like evolution begin. Evolution gives us the opportunity to use our own egos to "dumb down" God to the point we're comfortable believing in Him. Those who work for the other side encourage us to embrace a system in which God is not really necessary. By embracing any such notion, we bring an asp into our mind.
Saturday, April 18, 2009 The other side uses "science" to escape from God. The lost souls on the other side are led astray by their own vanity. Since Darwin, they have used "science" to undermine belief in God. This exercise in vanity always goes something like this: "We have discovered, by analyzing layers of rock, fossils, ice cores, continental drift, carbon dating, genetic projections, the distance of stars, the expanding universe, the 'big bang', etc., etc., etc., that the world is at least 20 billion years old. Most intelligent, educated people now believe that the universe, and we, ourselves, came into being by accident and evolved to what it, and we, now are." When a mind falls into such a trap, and they are set daily, even hourly, by the other side, the soul within may cry out in agony, "I am being lost!". Those heart-wrenching cries fall on deaf ears within and without. Catholic Fundamentalism, on the other hand, tells us that all such theories disregard God's desire and ability to program and download a universe with the express purpose of giving each human being free will. When we look at the latest "scientific proof" that the universe, and we, ourselves, appeared by a series of coincidences over 20 billion years, we find ourselves amazed how easily billions of souls are first fooled, then, lost. Our choice is plain. We can define God as "The Unprogrammed Programmer", and believe He is the programmer of all that's necessary to give free will to each person in every age. We believe that He's that powerful and that He loves us that much. On the other hand, we can choose to see Him as a being with less power and love for us, or disregard His existence altogether. Our eternal happiness depends on the choice we make.
Sunday, April 19, 2009 Protestants and Catholics share many of the same beliefs. Most believe in The Trinity, souls, the possibility of salvation, the holiness of Scripture, and God's saving grace. Similarly, both groups tend to believe Christ's birth, crucifixion, and Resurrection. Similar ideas about the prophets having miraculously predicted Christ's arrival among us are shared by both Protestants and Catholics. Catholics, and most Protestants who study Scripture, believe that Peter was appointed head of The Church. Catholics go beyond that, and believe that Peter was given the authority to choose those who would appoint successors to him. Those who protest that are in the various Protestant denominations. We can visualize those denominations as being in the circles around a stone that has splashed into a pond. Those in the innermost circle are Catholics, believing fully in the doctrine that there is a Pope and all that legitimate successors to Peter have legitimately added to what has become the Catholic faith. In the second ring are those who do not believe they owe any obedience to the Pope, but who do believe in the inerrancy of Holy Scripture and in The Trinity. As we progress outward, from ring to ring, the dividing waves are shallower, finally blending into the undefined flatness of the water beyond.
Monday, April 20, 2009 One way to picture The Church is to see Her as John the Baptist saw Jesus, "There is the Lamb of God". When we look at the Sacraments of The Church, we see sacrifices throughout. Those who participate are willing to give up worship of self in order to worship the loving God Who programmed us with the ability to choose to make that great sacrifice. Being a Christian is to continually sacrifice the desires of our vanity in order to serve God and neighbor. We see that those people and organizations trying to destroy The Church do so because She offends them by teaching that there is something more important than giving into their own vanities. When She, by example and teaching, shows that self-sacrifice is better than self-will, Her enemies feel that the innermost essence of their being is attacked. Of course, they are right. Rather than accept Her criticism, and try to align their thoughts, words, and deeds with Her teaching, they resist. By resisting, they may lose their own souls. It is supposed to be that way. It's how things were Programmed, and how The Program works. We either fear, love, and obey the God Who lovingly programmed us and a world that provides free will, or we choose not to do so, and die forever. Hell, in fact, may not be so much a place as it is a continual falling farther and farther from God. The lost soul may see Him, as it falls away forever, punished not by pain, but by knowing that it will never know the joy that it now sees clearly, but from which it is ever more distant.
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Praying Catholic Fundamentalism believes that praying is best defined as a request for Programming Assistance. Programming Assistance, fittingly enough, is provided by Programming Assistants, living levels of whom were programmed by The Programmer to keep things going the right way. We each have a personal Programming Assistant, whom those in the Iron Age called a "guardian angel". He, in turn, can call on the Programming Assistant above him, who can do the same with his superior, all the way up to The Throne of God, Programming HQ.
Jesus Christ, the living, perfect, obedient embodiment of The Program in human form, told us how to pray: "Our Father, Who art (programs) in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done (may your operating instruction be obeyed) on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses (disobedience to operating instructions) as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." One of the distinctions between Protestant and Catholic is that Protestants tend to "go direct" to The Programmer with their prayers. Catholics often ask Programming Assistants for help. These are saints and angels who were particularly obedient to The Programmer during their time among the programmed entities. They have a lot of influence on Him. Asking Mary to ask The Programmer for help may be more likely to get a response than a request from someone who bypasses her, and "goes direct", just as a person with a broken arm may get faster treatment by going to the emergency room rather than beating his head on the door of the hospital president's office. There is a good reason for this. If a person respects God, he will respect those who were especially obedient to The Unprogrammed Programmer during their time among the programmed entities. God has given them eternal access to Him as a fitting reward for their obedience to His operating instructions. As we ask, for instance, St. Anthony to help us find something, we cannot help but orient our own programming to St. Anthony's, thereby becoming closer to The Programmer. Each time we ask the Blessed Mother to intercede for us, we become more familiar with her great obedience and sacrifice. That becomes a part of our own programming efforts, so each prayer brings us a little closer to the obedience The Programmer Of All wants to see in us. The most overlooked resources for Programming Assistance are to be found among the less famous saints. St. Columbian, for instance, was the Irish monk who brought Catholicism from Ireland to many parts of Europe. His profound efforts helped save hundreds of millions of souls. God loved, and loves, him a lot. Who among us ever bothers to ask him, a greatly beloved saint, for help? We may reasonably assume that such saints, and there are thousands of them, some of whose earthly reminders may be in our own first, middle, last, or Confirmation names, might have some extra time to help us in our request for programming assistance. They may be so happy to be remembered that they will work more effectively on our behalf. And, if a great angelic or saintly intercessor doesn't have any extra time to help us, do you know what they have the power to do? They can make some.
Wednesday, April 22, 2009 The Hate-O-Meter. Those most full of hate spread death and lies wherever they can. Many believe that the Hate-O-Meter registers Mao, murderer of millions, at the top of the list. Stalin would be close, along with Genghis Khan. But, mass murderers are not so obvious. Actually, the Hate-O-Meter puts Rachael Carson, manic environmentalist, near the top of the list. Hundreds of millions of people have died because of malaria, which had almost disappeared when DDT was used to wipe out the mosquitoes that carried it. Rachael, it will be remembered, put forth lots of lies and exaggerations that allowed the legions of hate to virtually obliterate the use of DDT in poorer countries. The Hate-O-Meter has other surprises. There are many studies indicating that homosexual life spans are a little over half the life spans of heterosexuals. The Culture of Death celebrates this, encourages more of it, and fights viciously against those in favor of practices that aren't so life-shortening. Abortionists show up high on the Hate-O-Meter. They kill millions of unborn babies every year, to the delight of those involved. Even more death is caused by those involved in making birth "control" pills that kill unborn babies in their very earliest days. The Hate-O-Meter shows that many in public agencies destroy lots of lives. Their overall hatred of energy keeps people poor and dying, their embracement of public health has kept many from the medical care they need. Everything many "helpers" do is only successful at ruining, shortening, and ending lives. It's very hard to convince those in the Culture of Death to protect life. They hate all life, including their own.
Thursday, April 23, 2008 Honor thy father and thy mother. Violating this Operating Instruction makes us unable to utilize our own programming abilities as well as we otherwise might. If we do not honor the individual programs whose union produced our own, we cannot honor our own, individual program or its abilities. If we dishonor ourselves, our lives cannot help but become a tarnished remnant of what they would have otherwise been. Our life is the greatest gift we have received. Resenting those who gave it to us quickly turns into resenting ourselves. The other side excels at getting people to blame their problems on their parents. From inventing various kinds of child abuse to focusing on parental shortcomings, parents provide handy excuses for shortcomings and failures. Those who blame their parents for problems tend not to have children. They know their own resentments of their parents, and cannot escape the trap that their own children will resent them. That gives them an excuse to avoid passing on the gift of life to future generations. They become bitter, and embrace ever more bitterness. Ultimately, the anger and bitterness of many leftists originate in the ongoing violation of this particular Operating Instruction.
Friday, April 24, 2009 Violating the Ten Operating Instructions corrupts our individual operating systems. The First Operating Instruction is: "Thou shalt not give priority to any providers of operating systems or instructions to Me and those I provide." This Operating Instruction keeps us in tune with The Unprogrammed Programmer. We are able to access and download the information we need to draw closer to Him. As we do so, our individual program does best what it is supposed to do. We are kept from access to Him if we disobey this, the first and most basic, of His Operating Instructions. All temptations have one thing in common, they encourage us to ignore His Operating Instructions. When we violate His first Commandment, we separate ourselves from Him, making it more likely, that we will fall into further disobedience.
Monday, April 27, 2009 Making idols replaces His Operating Instructions with our own vanity. The second most important Operating Instruction tell us not to make graven images. This clearly refers to the blind, deaf, and dumb statues that competing Operating Systems encouraged their followers to produce and to worship. An idol is a symbol that is made by a human being on which thoughts and prayers are focused. Since The Unprogrammed Programmer cannot be directly sensed by most of us most of the time, idols are only designed to separate us from Him. An idol is a dead end street, programmed by a human to make a human-produced thing seem to be more important than it is. Today, idols are not just the simple statues of the past. Idols worshipped today include "fairness", "equality", and various Imaginary Problems that claim the allegiance of those whose livelihoods are designed to profit from taxing and regulating their neighbors. Idols are pretty much the same. There's the ever-popular "You're eating too much salt" idol. He's accompanied by idols that say the same thing about trans-fat, sugar, milk, cholesterol, cream, hamburgers, grilled meat, and whatever else the idol-makers run up the flagpole. Idolaters take turns. This week, the Salt Idol was raised, again. Last month, the Eat Less Sugar Idol enjoyed a brief period of worship. Next week, the Lower Cholesterol Idol may return. The makers of such idols vie for space with the Media Idol before whom all idolaters will make every conceivable sacrifice for mention.
Tuesday, April 28, 2009 "You Shall Not Take the Name of The Lord Your God in Vain." is The Unprogrammed Programmer's Third Operating Instruction. Some puzzle over its meaning. Catholic Fundamentalists understand that it's a programming instruction. If we dishonor He Who programmed us, it's impossible to maintain ourselves in His hierarchy of being. Just as a soldier cannot attack his lawful superiors without being mutinous, so we cannot use even a mention of The Programmer that may undermine His will. He, Who is aware of our thoughts, words, and deeds, is continually watching to see how obedient we are to Him. If He sees us, out of anger, saying something to the effect that we want The Programmer to use His awesome power to, for instance, damn someone, He sees that we have thereby violated His command to "love your neighbor as yourself". When we try to invoke the awesome power of His name to do something wrong, we are attempting to make Him an agent of the evil that lurks within us. That's never a good idea, though those on the other side frequently do what they can to separate our individual programs from He Who programmed every good thing by removing the taboo of taking His name in vain.
Wednesday, April 29, 2009 Those who bear False Witness always have a reason. Today's column considers the Operating Instruction that tells us we should not think we are powerful enough to change reality by distorting information about various programs with which we may be involved. Sometimes, bearing false witness becomes a group activity, and may involve millions of people leading billions of their neighbors astray. Global Warming exemplifies such a vast deception. It has been a source of great amusement that the left continues to deluge us with stories and "scientific proof" that any number of largely harmful things are going to destroy us. An example is the endlessness of warnings that Global Warming is dangerous and caused by human activity. As the obviousness of their lies becomes obvious, we must not be fooled into thinking they are fools, for they are not. The smarter ones know as well as we do that global temperatures began to drop back in 1998, and the world will get far colder in coming years. Leftists look at the same sunspot charts that the rest of us see. They have known for years that there is less energy coming from the sun than at any time in recent history. They are able to foresee that a long, cold spell is coming as easily as we can. Their goal of all intentional deceptions is obvious. They are using their paid media shills to frighten us so that they may gain. In the case of "Global Warming", their goal is to take control of the energy we will need more desperately than ever as the earth continues its cooling. Once they are in control of energy, they can charge as much as they want for it. To avoid freezing to death, we'll pay.
Thursday, April 30, 2009 O happy days! Like fish in a net, all of us are caught up in various lies at different times in our lives. Many begin by believing in the cheerful fiction of Santa Claus. That prepares us for a reality composed of alternatives. No one is harmed by such beliefs, but one should begin to realize that free lunches do not exist. But, if one believe that too exclusively, it becomes impossible to believe that Christ freely chose to die for our sins. So, we have happy days when we think Santa brought us our presents. We have a happy day when we realize that we have to earn our own living. And, we have the happiest day of all when we realize that the mind-bogglingly powerful God Who programmed the entirety of Creation willingly died to save us from the programming errors that keep us from the perfection we seek. |
