Monday, March 2, 2009 Quick review. Sometimes, it's easy to get distracted from what catholicfundamentalism.com is all about. Since 1990, the author has been developing the idea that God can program in three dimensions. The Unprogrammed Programmer programmed energies and then compiled them into particles, systems, and beings with amazing speed. He programmed each of us among His other programs. In short, He has programmed the entire universe. The Roman Catholic Church has long taught that we have free will. Catholic Fundamentalism believes that God has programmed the entire universe to give each of us free will. Since He is not interested in forcing souls to believe and obey Him, every single structure in the universe had to be programmed to let us look at it and freely decide either: "God made this." or, "This came about by itself." To give every person in every age the free will to make that decision, He has programmed things like carbon-14 and similar structures to let people freely choose to believe that some of the programs are much older than they actually are. Catholic Fundamentalists, for instance, look at the same layers of rock that others think were put in place over billions of years, and say, "Wow! What brilliant programming! Look, He's even programmed fossils!" Those farther from understanding His power may conclude that the same things arrived in place by a series of accidents. Once we understand the basic facts about His programming ability, it's easier to see that He programmed all the structures and motions that there are in order to give people of every age and place the total intellectual freedom to decide to believe in and obey Him. Or, not. All the ideas that separate us from Him can be clearly seen as soul-destroying theories beloved by those who want us to first minimize and then reject God. They have their reasons. Nonetheless, in every age, from East to West, He gathers a people to Himself.
Tuesday, March 3, 2009 Now, back to the "vicariate system". When we picture an intellectual bell-curve, the smartest people are over in the right hand corner, beavering away on one thing and another. Some of those to their left, back in the bulky body of the bell curve, don't like them or what they do. "What makes them so special? They're no better than I am. I'm just as good as they are." is the eternal manifestation of how the demons of envy have possessed them. There is another bell curve, more important than any IQ bell curve, by which we may crudely picture how souls are placed. The souls of the most faith-filled and most obedient saints may be pictured in the right hand corner of that bell curve. Somewhere on that bell curve is a vertical line. Those on the right side of that line are saved. Those in support of inserting another layer of management, one with which The Church has managed to live quite successfully without, are not in the far right hand corner of either bell curve. On the first bell curve, measuring IQ, they are to the left of the real intellectuals. On the second, spiritual bell curve, they are much farther away from the right hand corner, and may, in fact, be past the divide that separates the sheep (right side) from the goats (left side). Until Vatican II, we who are mere sheep in the sheepfold could be reasonably certain that our parish priests, the individual shepherds of our parish, were far to the right side of the Faith Bell Curve. We also believed that our Bishops were even farther to the right. Since it was Bishops who forced through the many damages caused by Vatican II, we can no longer automatically believe that trustworthiness and being a Bishop are the same thing. If Dante was correct in his depiction of so many Bishops in various circles of Hades, we who are faithful should, one may now suppose, not have been making that comforting, automatic assumption since the 1200s.
Wednesday, March 4, 2009 March forth! This is my favorite date, one of two in the calendar which is a command. The first date that is a command is March First. We must wonder if it is a sensible command. It is sometimes better to "plan first", before beginning to march. But, if we consider the plan as part of the march, it is necessary to march, first. Since Mars was named after the God of War, it is appropriate that it begins by telling us to "March, First!" If we are to get anywhere, we do have to March Forth. We will never get anywhere if we fail to do as this date commands.

Thursday, March 5, 2009 Why market drops? As this is being written the stock market has dropped another 250 points. It's down about half from its recent highs. There are several reasons: 1. The dollar is dropping because so many are being printed to allow the leftmost politicians to "help". Since the market knows that none of the "helpful plans" will do anything but make the problems worse, the huge political body in which the "cells", individuals, families, and companies, operate, is considerably weakened. That keeps the damaged cells from recovering as quickly as they usually would. 2. Structural deficits are being built into the body politic that will keep it weak for the foreseeable future. 3. Once these deficits take political form, they will be as tumors within the body politic, further weakening it. 4. A weakened body is more likely to be attacked from the outside. 5. The markets are also in the process of pricing in the reduction of value that computers and the internet have done to the vast print/paper industries. Long a mainstay of the economy, they are eroding in use and, therefore, in value. 6. Middle-class Americans are becoming aware that the new administration is largely comprised of people who hate them and want to destroy them. So, the market continues to drop as more become aware of the damage being done to it by those who control it.
Thursday, March 5, 2009 The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation has been working hard for many years to get across the idea that the earth is much younger than conventional wisdom would have us believe. Directed by Hugh Owen, their efforts have been far larger than that of catholicfundamentalism.com. Our work is much simpler. We explore God's power to program and compile energies and particles. We feel that He programmed and downloaded the universe as the Book of Genesis describes. The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation goes into far more arduous work on the nitty-gritty problems of evolutionary theories. Both catholicfundamentalism.com and The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation have the same goal, establishing the reasonableness of Scripture. That gives credibility to The Church, Who continues to stand despite the attacks from Her many pseudo-scientific enemies. This paragraph from a recent Kolbe Center report is particularly instructive: "The discovery of collagen in a Tyrannosaurus-rex dinosaur femur bone was recently reported in the journal Science. When Triceratops and Hadrosaur femur bones in excellent condition were discovered by the Glendive (MT) Dinosaur & Fossil Museum, Miller asked and received permission to saw them in half and collect samples for C-14 testing of any bone collagen that might be extracted. Indeed both bones contained collagen and conventional dates of 30,890 ± 380 radiocarbon years (RC) for the Triceratops and 23,170 ±170 RC years for the Hadrosaur were obtained using the Accelerated Mass Spectrometer (AMS). Total organic carbon and/or dinosaur bone bio-apatite was then extracted and pretreated to remove potential contaminants and concordant radiocarbon dates were obtained, all of which were similar to radiocarbon dates for megafauna. Although the radiocarbon dates are not absolute dates, the fact that dinosaur bones consistently possess the same radiocarbon ages as other megafauna such as mastodons known to have been contemporary with man flatly contradicts the evolutionary time scale according to which dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago." It's extremely doubtful that any of us will see that on the evening news, though it is about the most newsworthy thing that any of us have ever seen.
Friday, March 6, 2009 Bush-hating. It's tempting to go along with many of my friends who hate George Bush for everything that's gone wrong. Bush-hating is an easy way to understand every problem that exists. A recent email to several professional Bush-haters: I'm glad you guys are still hating Bush. You've been a great help to my understanding of what's wrong with the world. As a new Bush-hater, I just spew profanity at everything that goes wrong, all directed at that disgusting, rotten, you-know-who (I can barely stand to say his name, I hate him so much!). Then, I saw this recent graph: "Ohhhhh!", I said. "I hate that George W. Bush for wasting all that money! That money will come from family's' retirement plans, and from their savings, and it will do no good at all! It will just make us all poorer. I hate George W. Bush! He's completely responsible for all of this!" Now, I've progressed from hating George W. Bush to hating all Republicans. Look what those bitter, uncooperative Republicans have done, just since Obama was elected: Even though this deficit will be happening in 2009, long after Bush has left office and long after the Republicans in Congress have been reduced to a pitifully small minority, we must understand that it is still all George W. Bush's fault! President Obama is not responsible for this looting of America." Some innocent souls may ask: "How is it even possible that a former President could be responsible for this huge deficit and the painful reduction of every single American's savings? Well, I'll tell you how. George W. Bush never left office! He's still there! Obama has been kidnapped by Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. Mr. Obama has been replaced with a robot that looks and sounds like just like him. The Obama-bot can only read from a teleprompter, which is why one is always with him in every press conference, every meeting, even in conversations with his family! George Bush, with other high-level Republicans, is working 24/7 in a vast, secret command center underneath the Oval Office. They type in what they want the teleprompter to say, and the Obama-bot reads it off. Oh, I hate that George Bush! Democrats know that Mr. Obama would never run up deficits and destroy the stock market, because he loves America. He would never want any hard-working, middle-class families to be hurt the way they have been. You may wonder where the real President Obama is. He's being held in a cell in Guantanamo. That's why the Obama-bot was told to keep the prison from closing. The reins of America's destructive government are still being held by George W. Bush and the power-crazed Bush family. They want to rule the world. You may know that the innocent, humble, and modest Senator Ted Kennedy is being Knighted by the Queen of England. You may not know that the quiet, unassuming Senator was forced into accepting this great honor as a mere proxy for the Bush family. Their greed and vanity have never been so blatantly obvious! They are the ones who are actually being Knighted, but they're forcing Ted Kennedy to do the bowing for them. It's positive proof that the evil George W. Bush is so powerful that he can force a senior Senator, and the entire British Royal Family, to do his bidding. Oh, I hate George W. Bush so much I just can't stand it! I wish he'd come back on television. Then, I could revile and curse at him directly, instead of ranting at his teleprompter-reading Obama-bot. Sometimes, when the Obama-bot is reading hurtful, stupid things, I start to revile him, forgetting that it's really George W. Bush, putting words in his mouth. We must make sure everyone understands who's really in charge. We can't stop hating Bush! We're good at it, and many of us have nothing better to do. If I didn't hate Bush so much, I'd have a lot of long, empty hours staring me in the face. Every day. Still hating Bush, Your Bush-hating friend
Sunday, March 8, 2009 Sometimes, we get so caught up in taxes that we forget death. The new administration is proposing legislation that will force all doctors and hospitals to perform abortions. This movement has two goals. First of all, it makes for more death, and forces more people to provide it. That, they like. The second is to divert cash flows in two areas. First it takes an income stream away from the remaining Catholic hospitals and sends it to those institutions that are willing to kill unborn children. It also channels money away from those medical practitioners who are pro-life into the pockets of those who are pro-death. The pro-death doctors are greatly in favor of this legislation. A surprising number of them are members of a religion that sees the killing of children who might grow up to be Christians to be a good thing. The corrupting virus is behind this.
Monday, March 9, 2009 The Vatican catches up with catholicfundamentalism.com ! As readers know, this site has long argued that most social conflicts and changes are due to technological advancements that have eliminated labor and cash flows. From the Vatican newspaper, Osservatore Romano:
Vatican: The washing machine liberated womenBy Miranda Bryant As International Women’s Day is celebrated, the Vatican had a novel message for the women of the world: give thanks for the washing machine. This humble domestic appliance had done more for the women’s liberation movement than the contraceptive pill or working outside the home, said the the official Vatican newspaper, Osservatore Romano. “In the 20th century, what contributed most to the emancipation of Western women?” questioned the article. “The debate is still open. Some say it was the pill, others the liberalisation of abortion, or being able to work outside the home. Others go even further: the washing machine.” The article is entitled, “The washing machine and the emancipation of women: put in the powder, close the lid and relax”, taking its name from the Washy Talky, the Electrolux bilingual-talking washing-machine launched in India seven years ago, which would remind the absent-minded housewife how to use the appliance. The Catholic Church was never likely to laud the pill for its transformative power on women’s lives. Since Pope Benedict became the leader of the world’s 1.1 billion Catholics, he has published a religious document condemning contraception for “negating the intimate truth of conjugal love, with which the divine gift [of life] is communicated” and has urged pharmacists to refuse to dispense the morning-after pill. The Osservatore Romano held the pill responsible for polluting the environment and contributing to male infertility.
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 Ants, seesaws, semi's, and market changes. Yesterday, the stock market had a huge rise. Gold, on the other hand, dropped. In the past month, many have sold stocks and bought gold. Today, many are selling gold and buying stocks. If we attended elementary schools with seesaws, we do well to remember the basic lesson, if one side goes up, the other side goes down. If we imagine the seesaw to be inside the trailer of a semi-truck driving across country, and picture each of us the size of a very small ant, we can visualize what happens. The seesaw goes up and down while the truck, which symbolizes the economy or the nation, goes up and down hills, crosses long flat areas, occasionally wrecks, and sometimes needs repairs. Each ant on the seesaw describes a cyclodic curve as the truck goes forward, up and down. Ants are always getting on and off the seesaw. Once on, they may move back and forth from one end to the other, always trying to get above the other ants. Those of us inside the truck, riding on the seesaw or watching those who do, don't always know if the truck is headed up or down. When the truck is going downhill, the "gold end" of the seesaw tends to rise. When it looks like the truck is going uphill, the "stock end" of the seesaw tends to rise. The people on the seesaw are largely unable to tell what way the truck is going in the future. When we see ourselves in such a way, we realize how helpless we are. No one knows if the truck will be smashed into by another vehicle whose driver wants to destroy or hijack it and everything aboard.
Thursday, March 12, 2009 More on ants, seesaws, and semis. The ants in the semi are always busy. Most of them are involved in activities that allow them to gain things that will enrich them. Some look at gaining material possessions. Others see truer gain in having children and raising them properly. Others spend their time trying to get power over the other ants, usually "for their own good". A few of the ants move around the truck, trying to see outside it. Sometimes, they will find that a tiny crack has opened in the sides that allow them to see things beyond the truck. Some of them will realize that the truck is only a small part of the world. The other ants find that disturbing. They don't like to hear about it. They especially don't like to hear theories about being stuck in a truck. Stories about "a driver", whom they feel is utterly imaginary and unnecessary, are especially bothersome. Even more, they hate hearing that someone built the truck and everything around it. The ants that focus on "organizing" the other ants are particularly bothered by such communications. They will often hunt down and kill any ants with a larger view of the world than what's in "their" truck.
Friday, March 13, 2009 Today's date is the second Friday the Thirteenth in a row. There will be three Friday the Thirteenths this year, as many as it is possible to have. It is said that the date "13" falls on Friday more than any other day. This year, there will be three Fridays the Thirteenth, in February, March, and November. There can't be more than three in a year, or less than one. Some wonder how it is possible for any year to have more Friday the thirteenths than Thursdays the twelfth? It isn't. But, the 13th of the month will fall on Friday more often than it will fall on Thursday, Saturday, or any other day.

Finally, an explanation from a European leftist, quoting from thegatesofvienna.com: The Honest Version of Vera Baird said... "Everything's (destroyed). We welcomed these Muslims with open arms, because we have a common enemy: conservatism, freedom of thought, freedom of speech, the old values of the democratic age. We thought they would help us build the new age of post-democracy; job security and fat pensions for us, communitarianism for you, and "social justice" for all. The American left continues to encourage the same immigration and the same favored treatment and the same legal favortism that is destroying Europe. Results here will be the same.
Sunday, March 15, 2009 One reason leftists do what they do. The above column, quoting a rare leftist who can admit to having been wrong about anything, gives us an insight into their thinking. Many have wondered why the same "enlightened" Western women are quick to point out that many of their male neighbors "don't even help with the dishes" while they studiously ignore genital mutilation of girls, honor killings of girls and women, and the idea that it's okay for men to "own" several wives at a time. The same leftist mindset also pays no attention to the fact that more than half of all aborted babies are females. We can see, therefore, that there is no real concern for "womens' rights". What overrides that concern? Those on the left love death. They will never attack, and will always support, those who provide it.
Monday, March 16, 2009 If a person had never been right about anything, most of us would ignore any suggestions that such a person might make. Those on the left are never right about anything. The endless alarms the left has raised about "problems" that didn't exist would, one would think, have destroyed any intellectual credibility that they might claim. Being wrong doesn't seem to bother them. The same people go on raising similarly fraudulent alarms, often for their entire lives. Why? If our financial advisor repeatedly advised us to make investments that failed, we would soon change advisors. But a leftist is intellectually like a person who continues to invest with Bernie Madoff, even after he's been jailed for fraud. One assumption is that leftists hate themselves, their neighbors, future generations, and God. Nothing but a near-universal hate explains their repeated errors.
Tuesday, March 17, 2009 Inconsistency, the hobgoblin of little minds. Hate exists all around us. Those who follow the many websites devoted to explaining the major religion of the middle east understand that the essence of their religion is hate. Many believers are so full of hate they think those who differ from them must be killed. Other groups of haters are found in far-left governments. In eight decades, almost a billion people have been killed by Communists. Haters also congregate in movements that allow them to control the activities of their neighbors. Environmental movements excel at inventing reasons to say "No!" to all human activities. When we have a chance to talk to haters, we find that they are generally not very bright. As we shall see, most haters have second-rate minds that are unable to appreciate their own lack of consistency in issues like those mentioned in yesterday's column. It is always amusing to focus disagreements with leftists on their own inconsistencies. When that has been done, the word "consistency" should be used to describe their lack of it. You will find that, almost always, the leftist will automatically reply, "Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." They simply do not know what the quote means. They are actually saying that their own minds are as frightened of consistency as children are of hobgoblins, and are, therefore, "little". Few of them are bright enough to notice.
Wednesday, March 18, 2009 Safe, at last. Two or three times in the past few years, students in Pittsburgh have taken sofas off porches and burned them in post-game celebrations. No one is recorded to have been hurt. Owners of the old couches do not appear to have missed them. But, someone might have been hurt. A City Councilman introduced legislation to keep any city resident from putting upholstered furniture on their front porch. It passed unanimously because no one could afford to look as if he or she didn't care about what might happen. Some, in fact, expressed deep concerns that the burning couches might set the entire city ablaze. A rolling, unstoppable wall of flame was envisioned, spreading from house to house. Some Pittsburghers are glad The Mayor is eager to show that he's "concerned" about what might happen without such a law. He has promised to sign the vital legislation into effect "immediately". Like most cities, Pittsburgh has lost population. About half of its residents have fled, after being taxed nearly to death. The Steel City's steel mills have closed. Attempts to build a coke mill were quickly shot down by local environmentalists. Manufacturing has disappeared. Mostly, the remaining people with jobs in Pittsburgh make money by taxing. As far as local media is concerned, Pittsburgh is in "good shape". And it is, compared with, say, Detroit. Or, Berlin, after the War. Now that people have been kept from sitting comfortably on their front porches, the city's problems have been solved. Nanny Ascendant has become Nanny Triumphant, and the City continues to shrivel. The important thing is that it is now safe from the disasters that might have happened.
But, Pittsburgh is still not safe enough. Two or three times in the past ten years, students have rolled over cars in post-game celebrations. There is a fear that students might roll over several cars, and light the leaking gasoline on fire. The ensuing inferno might, it is feared, wipe out entire neighborhoods. A City Councilman is soon to introduce legislation that will make it illegal to park cars outside anywhere in the City.
Thursday, March 19, 2009 Hoist with their own petard. The strong, centralized command that Stalinists have long exercised over their Empire of Public Education is beginning to weaken. Their original funding was designed to come primarily from property taxes. In the post-depression days, when they built their Empire of Public Education, property taxes seemed a far more reliable way to loot the peasantry than the less stable wages and salaries of the day. For nearly a century, America's property owners have been consistently and thoroughly plundered by their local school boards, each one obedient to the dictates of the vast unions whose demands for "More!" took fiscal form in relentless property tax increases. Those taxes have reached a point that they have devalued the underlying of the homes that are assessed. Obedient to the Empire, recent Congressional pressures forced banks to lend money to people who couldn't afford houses. That kept the assessed values of property high, subsidizing the Empire's ravenous need for funding. When borrowers could not repay, the housing market collapsed. Taxes have not yet gone down to reflect the loss in value. When reassessments are forced through, the Empire may actually see less funding available from property taxes. Then, they will push for more state aid from income, sales, and other forms of taxes. That will bring them into battle with other Empires, like the Trotskyites, who are building their own Environmental Empire. Competing, tax-dependent Empires are beginning to fight more viciously among themselves. They are already beginning to pick at the dying carcase of the Post Office Empire.
Friday, March 20, 2009 Programming in three dimensions is something that should be considered every day. When we see anything complicated, like the growth of a fingernail, we should immediately try to categorize the kind of program The Programmer had programmed to provide for it. When we consider how we are able to know when to cut or file our fingernails, and do so with devices that other human beings have programmed with our vastly cruder programming abilities, we are reminded of how incredibly more powerful The Programmer is than we programmed creatures. We can see that the Fingernail Program is similar to the various Claw and Hoof programs that are at the end of two and four-legged animals' extremities. All such programs exist to provide a relationship between the Programmed Organism and the world around it. The programming complexity is such that we simply cannot dream of duplicating it. So, there is a tendency not to believe in a Living Being Who is that much smarter than we are. Thinking of the intelligence the The Programmer has, and comparing it with our own, can be especially depressing to the vain. Those afflicted by vanity prefer not to even think about the possibility of a God Who is so much smarter than they are that the awesome complexity of their own fingernails and the cells within, and all the parts within the cells are less than a quadrillionth of His Programs. Hence the popularity of the Theory of Evolution.
Saturday, March 21, 2009 Some of us are programmed to want to master many programs. Some get involved with the "Fish Programs" and avail themselves of various items and theories that humans have programmed to catch fish. They may go from the "Catch bluegills in the pond" programs to "Catch bass in the stream" programs to "Dry fly fishing for brook trout" programs to "Sailfish catching in the ocean" programs. Our lives record the programs in which we were interested. At Judgment, we may become aware of all those programs in which we were interested, and how much we elevated them above obeying The Programmer and loving our neighbor. Most human programs are involved with satisfying basic needs. There are programs for every kind of farming, mineral extraction, transforming various plant and mineral programs into things that human programs need (manufacturing), and medical programs for every part of the body program. There is a program for every kind of occupation. There are programs for every kind of restaurant. Underlying the thinking of many restaurateurs is the thought, "If I program my restaurant properly, I may be able to turn my diner/coffee shop/pizza shop/hot dog shop/steakhouse/etc. into a chain of restaurants." This requires the mastery of more complex programs, including familiarization with the various personnel and finance programs. When lots of people are creating programs, they may hurt each other. So, political programs are written to ensure that people in the restaurant programs, for instance, will not be able to burn down their competitors' outlets. Beyond the programs for survival and personal gain, then, there are programs for control. When these programs take form, they are called "governments". Each government agency is a program to control those involved with a sort of program, as the Dept. of Agriculture controls farmers, ranchers, and producers of protein programs. As efficiencies increase, there are fewer people involved in any given programs. The Wal-Mart Program, for instance, has eliminated hundreds of thousands of smaller, less efficient retail programs. Large banking programs eliminate smaller, less efficient banking programs just as larger manufacturers have programs that eliminate smaller, more error-prone production programs.
Sunday, March 22, 2009 Continual reprogramming is necessary, whether we like it or not, if we are to survive as individuals, families, communities, and nations. Some get involved in the various programs to "make things", which are focused on the accumulation of money. Those of less mental ability tend to focus on ways to take money from those who have it. "We have rights, too!", they say. Groups of such people often hire smarter people to represent their interests. They usually get shafted by them. We are now in an age when the virus is unusually strong. Those who make things are becoming ever more subservient to those who take. Pray. Be patient. This, too, will pass.
Sunday, March 23, 2009 All of what we think of as nouns are adjectives. There is only one noun, and that is "program". As I look out my window this morning, I see a robin hopping around the yard, looking for something small to eat. As a Catholic Fundamentalist, I understand that the "robin" is actually a representative of "the robin program" and that he is trying to integrate a worm or insect program into his larger, more powerful program. He is hopping over various grass and weed programs, surrounded by the many gas programs that comprise the atmosphere program. Beneath him, layers of mineral programs reach down to the molten core. Above him, the sun program provides the energy it has been programmed to provide to sustain the many living programs on the earth program. One way to grow closer to God, The Unprogrammed Programmer, is to rightly understand that every entity is a program, whether created by Him or by one of His seemingly infinite programs. The robin program that is in front of me, for instance, is in the process of finding a place where he can help his mate create a nest program out of materials that have been programmed with that, and many other uses, by the power of the Three Dimensional Programmer's many, many, many programs.
Monday, March 24, 2009 Restructuring reality means restructuring grammar. It's a real mental breakthrough to realize that all nouns are merely human adjectives that describe The Programmer's myriad of programs. When we consider the "Robin Program" mentioned above, we see that He, or, more likely, one of His angelic Sub-Programmers, has programmed a specific bird to take advantage of a "gap" in the Living Energy Utilization Programs. "Hey!", this unknown Sub-Programmer said to Himself, "When it rains, lots of the various Worm Programs come to the surface. We have to get rid of excess worms, or they'll absorb so much energy from the other programs that plants will die. So, I'm programming a bird that will eat the surplus worms." "Make it pretty!", another Sub-Programmer said. "I'll help with its feather program so that it has a bright, orange breast." The ideal result in our own minds is to see that the word "robin" is actually an adjective that describes that particular program. So it is with every other thing that is different enough to be described with its own name.
Tuesday, March 25, 2009 Seeing that our "nouns" are adjectives gets us closer to The Programmer. Our basic, human egoism manifests itself by calling things that God has created "nouns", subjects that are real in and of themselves. In reality, each thing that we are able to sense is the result of a Divine Program. All human "nouns" in all human languages are merely our labels for His programs. It has been this way since The Programmer asked Adam to name the animals He programmed. This minimal contribution, because of our vanity, continues to make the process of naming much more important than it is. When seeking truth is combined with humility, we see that our nouns are merely crude labels for the complexity of whatever program we are considering. Our own "verbal vanity" is so entrenched it's practically invisible to us. A couple of days ago, following any of our "nouns" with "Program", as in the "Robin Program" was mentioned. Each part of the Robin Program is another program. We can see its Feather Program, Beak Program, Wing Program, Flight Program, Eye Program, and we know that within it several Metabolic Programs are operating that allow each Robin Program to sustain itself during its run-time. If Catholic Fundamentalism can encourage the humility of seeing that His Programs are the underlying reality of all there is, and understanding that human nouns are really adjectives that describe each part of His awesome power, it has done something worthwhile. You many find this a thought worthy of sharing. It's always fun to tell people they don't know what they're talking about. This particular Catholic Fundamentalism argument makes that statement more broadly than any other in history.
Wednesday, March 26, 2009 If nouns are adjectives, what are verbs? "In the beginning, God created (programmed) the heavens and the earth." He programmed something from nothing. St. John's understanding of the process was deeper. He said, "In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God." Catholic Fundamentalists see God as The Loving Programmer. We think of Jesus Christ as The Program in perfect, loving, obedient, human form. The Holy Wireless Connector is the ongoing relationship between Father and Son and programmed entities. The first verb came to be when He decided "to program", as in "Let there be light". That program included all the characteristics that light would have. Soon, light was being produced and emitted. As soon as other things were made, it began to be reflected, and absorbed. Part of the Light Program were the Operating Instructions for light. Real science is concerned with discovering bits of the Operating Instructions, whether of light or anything else. Most of us understand that the Operating Instructions can be changed. When such a change helps us, we may reasonably think of it as "miraculous". When we see, we see Light's Operating Instructions within the greater program. We see green leaves because the leaves absorb all colors but the green they reflect into our eyes. When we make sense of why two and two is four, we may also say, "I see.", because all seeing, whether green leaves or abstract ideas, is in the mind. When we say, "I was walking down the street.", "walking" is the verb. It actually describes rate and type of movement. It is different than "running" or "crawling", but, as all verbs, only describes movement.
Thursday, March 26, 2009 God’s Linguistic Ability: Since He is One, His thoughts, words, and actions are one. Some time ago, I tried to reconcile the six day account of Genesis with the purported 20 billion year age of the universe. It was too much for me until this thought came into my mind: “God can program in three dimensions.” Pondering this can reasonably lead us to the conclusion that He programmed the things that He programmed us to see as particles. Particles were the “noun” part of Creation. He also programmed the “verb” part of Creation, which put the particles in motion. It does not matter which He programmed first, or if simultaneous programming went on. Likewise, it does not matter, though it seems increasingly likely to me, that particles are made out of motion. As I considered this most revolutionary of thoughts, it occurred to me that the nine classes of angels were actually nine levels of sub-programmers, each with different abilities. In time, thinking about this led me to believe that Fundamentalism was reasonable. The Bible was true in every particular. When I got to the part in John 6, “if you do not eat my body and drink my blood, you do not have life in you”, it became clear that Roman Catholic fundamentalists were the truest fundamentalists. Now, I think that Catholic Fundamentalism is the wholest truth we can know. Error can be measured by degrees of difference with Catholic Fundamentalism.
Friday, March 27, 2009 Hate against love. Love against hate. Those who have less can be made to feel aggrieved because others have more. The lives of such people are often ruined by soul-corroding envy. Many actually hate those who have more than they, and will do whatever they can to enforce "fairness", usually at the point of a gun. Every civilization in every age is beset with those who want to make things "fairer". In their dark hearts, they just want to have more, themselves. They are willing to kill and enslave their neighbors to get it. They often do. The more hate-filled their new government, the more death. From the guillotines of the French Revolution to the firing squads of Castro and Chavez, the hateful have the gutters run with blood. Today, they plan a "National Service Corps" for the United States. People will be forced to learn to "help", all in the name of fairness. Hopefully, sanity will return in the next election. It's doubtful that it will. Already, voter fraud is increasing in every sort of ballot-counting. The apportionment of votes is no longer fair, but under the control of the hateful. Things don't look to good for those on the side of love.
Monday, March 28, 2009 What is hate? Can anything be done about it? An easy answer is that "Hate is the opposite of love." The varying degrees of hate, from mild environmentalist to ravenous Communist, defines the lack of love in people's lives. Karl Marx, it's clear from his writings, hated everyone. The least radical environmentalists still hate what people do, hate how wasteful people are, and hate how little power they have. Love impels us to help people. Hate prompts us to destroy them. The division could not be clearer. Often, there are several children raised in an atmosphere of hate. Some of them are not hateful. Random acts of love and concern do a lot to give those devoid of love the sense that someone cares about them. Since love does destroy hate, we may measure how little we love by the sorry state of the world around us. It's hard for us to admit, but those who hate and hurt us simply have too little love in their lives. It's up to us to love them. no matter how they tax and regulate and steal from us. It's not easy, but it's the best we can do.
Tuesday, March 29, 2009 There are sects that worship hate. It's hard to stop hatred when it's become entrenched in a political/religious system that dominates governments. Such hate-based groups will, if contained, feed on each other until they are in a permanently weakened state. But, if they are allowed to get sufficient funding from more advanced countries, their hatred will grow and flourish like poisonous weeds. Their native countries are desperate to get rid of a population that grows without the usual wars. Millions are sent to colonize and take over other countries. Massive bribes to public officials pave the way. We have to wonder if Western Europe, where hearts are hardened by decades of rampant abortion, is any less hateful ih God's eyes than the non-Christian peoples who move there from other countries. |
