                                                    Lost souls and Catholic Fundamentalism.

For much of our lives, most of us were consumed by earthly concerns.  Our interests were primarily on the people and things of the world.  We had no idea that God could program particles, three-dimensional pixels, and compile an entire universe out of them.  As this thought was explored, belief became more reasonable and was accompanied by increasing awareness that God was real, had immense power, and could help us find Him.

When we consider that our soul will live forever, and must spend eternity either with God or without Him, many are brought closer to Him by realizing that since He can program particles, compile them into systems and beings, and that the most complicated of those beings were programmed to have free will, we should take seriously the Operating Instructions that The Programmer has provided.

Many souls are not convinced.  Our job is to help.  After familiarizing ourselves with the basics of Catholic Fundamentalism, we may consider sharing them with some others.  It's a simple approach, and one that is uniquely suited to a generation that realizes how quickly powerful programs can get things done.

                                                               "Tomorrow is Election Day."

we may tell people, only to be surprised at one reply:  "I don't vote.  There's no point in it.  My vote never matters."  Since few elections are decided by one vote, and any important election that was that close would be immediately contested, it's impossible to argue with that statement.  So, why should we vote?

Our votes tell us where we stand with God.  Of any two candidates, one is more pro-life.  One is more inclined to fight for lower taxes.  One has a greater tendency to fight fraud and tyranny.

Of those two candidates, the other is more anti-life, in favor of higher taxes, and will tolerate, if not encourage, fraud and tyranny.  Our vote tells us where we stand on issues.

Our vote should be based on which candidate is closer to God and whose decisions in public office will more closely mirror His wishes.   If we don't try to vote for the best candidate, we end up among the the morally tepid.  The Operating Instructions tell us in Rev, 3;16, exactly what God thinks of them:  "the lukewarm water I spit out of my mouth."

There is not so much a "silent majority" as a "muzzled majority".

For generations, only those who owned newspapers, magazines, and broadcasting stations had any real rights to what was portentiously called "free speech" by those who had it and needed, as a matter of course, to tell those who didn't have it that they had "free speech", too, even as they kept them from communicating to anyone but their families, friends, and neighbors in private conversations.

To be sure, there were small numbers of usually short-lived magazines and newspapers that put forth points of view that differed from those who could be trusted with larger print media and broadcasting rights.  That has changed.  The internet, at least for the short term, has allowed an explosion of viewpoints to be expressed, and we are all made more knowledgeable by it, exposed, as we are, to points of view that were previously not allowed to be publicly discussed or considered.

The esposure to various outlooks on issues has done two things, made us more aware of what's going on and made us more cemented in our own points of view.  Both left and right, centralizer and libertarian, are able to ally themselves with those most like themselves.  Lost souls can wallow in pornography and collectivism while those who seek a greater truth have the freedom to find others who share that point of view.

It is the latter group whose freedom of speech is most threatened.

Wounded souls are darkened and may die.

When we attempt to picture our soul, we may visualize a small ball of light.  Our soul actually is light, a living spark.  It has the power to illuminate areas of darkness in our minds which it can then organize according to its light.

The vastness within our minds may be partly understood by seeing that in any part of it, like a drop of pond water under a microscope, there are many living beings.  Clouds of demons, which for most of us are little more than charges of negative energy in our minds that seek to spread darkness over what we think, say, and do, can be brought under control of the soul, but that process is only useful if it is guided by He Whom we recognize as having actually programmed our soul out of nothing.

Each time that our soul does not admit its need to be guided by that vastly Higher Power, it tends to feel a burst of self-satisfaction that further alienates itself from its Creator.  Each such deadly wound drives the soul to be dimmer than its wont.

Those who wish to separate themselves from any higher judgment than that which their current circumstances have turned into moral imperatives that relieve them of the responsibility of obeying The Programmer's Operating Instructions have a harder job as the process of dimming continues.  Since, if unchecked, the dimming will lead to any soul's death, we must turn to the light.

We are helped in that process by the prophets.  They repeatedly, and correctly, predicted the coming of that brightest of all light to earth in a series of writings that only a fool would ascribe to accident, coincidence, or fraud.

                                            Catholic Fundamentalists rephrase "born again"

with the idea that we erase our old programming habits and download His Program.  We are helped in this process by understanding that we and all the people and things around us were likewise programmed by He Who has the ability to program energies and particles, compile them into systems and beings, and download them into actual being(s).  His human programs have been the ability to decide that they are not His programs, but accidents within a series of larger accidents.

"Downloading The Program" is, technically, a more modern meaning of "born again", but it does not by any means convey the deeper significance of the older phrase.  When we think of our own birth, we know that we came out of the darkness and into the light.  We were no longer locked inside a small place, but came into a big, big world.

The same thing happens when we cast off the shackles of conventional reality and, through faith, access and download the idea The Programmer, Program, and Holy Wireless Connector have programmed us within the vastly larger Creation Program so that we may have the joy of knowing them.  Or, not.

When we make this, the most important download of all, we will have emerged into a whole, new world, our soul having left one that was as dark and confining as the womb from which we emerged.

It is interesting that when we break through to comprehending the power of The Programmer, one part of our world shrinks--there is no longer a need to think of ourselves living on a near-endless time line that stretches back for untold billions of years.  By understanding that God programmed all Creation in order to give us, His most complicated programs, free will, we see that the only time that matters is the short time it took Him to download The Creation Program and the years between that to the time that He programmed us each one of us and downloaded us within it.

Those who don't think The Programmer has that kind of power will have a harder time appreciating just how utterly magnificent the Program is, and how much more magnificent is He Who programmed it.

                                                             Choosing to commit a sin

is analogous to intentionally downloading a virus in our own, or someone else's, computer.  We live in a sea of temptation of all kinds.  The temptations in that sea are alive.  They wait and work for opportunities to lead us away from the He Who programmed us.  Since He lived among us, and knows the temptation we face, He has provided the means to let us erase our errors and restore His Program within us.

We get better at resisting the downloading of errors if we consider our own thought patterns when we deal with temptations.  One such recurring thought before a sin is: "It's really not that bad."  That's often accompanied by the popular variation, "What's the harm in it?  Really?"  As soon as we recognize thoughts to that effect, we know that we are approaching a line that we shouldn't cross.  But, part of us wants to ignore those red flags.  We want to do what we want to do, and we want to do it now.  There are, within our minds, many spirits leading us in that direction, all living in the parts of our mind where the demons of Vanity reside, usually at the cranial end of nerve ganglions.

That's where the Lord's Prayer comes in handy:  "Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil."  Those words, like the ones that come into our minds that justify our giving into temptation, are also alive, and come from a stronger source.  We should repeat them often, listen to them, and obey them.  If we do, the desirous demons within are paralyzed.

                                                               Words as Living Things.

On a related issue, Catholic Fundamentalism embraces considering the notion that words, if they are not living things, may reasonably be treated as such.  Words can travel great distances over very long periods of time.  They can come into our minds, change our behaviors, and can, thereby, be seen, for all practical purposes, as "alive".

The most primitive word-lifeforms are single words.  They, like one celled organisms, may be compiled to form vastly more complicated thought-beings that can either lead us closer to, or farther from, The Programmer and His Operating Instructions.  Sometimes, words are strung together to lead us closer to He Who programmed us.  More often, words are strung together to mislead and confuse those who take them in.

When seen as a type of "predatory beast", we realize that such word-lifeforms leap off the printed page, and out of the airwaves, like jaguars from a hidden perch, and propelling themselves into our minds and taking up residence in the space they devour.   Once there, some have the ability to claw away tendencies we have toward obedience.   Oddly, the same people who worry obsessively about "animal rights" also are in favor of allowing unrestricted access to the most depraved words imaginable.

                                                                     Another country.

Most of the people in the world would like to move to another country.  They will take huge risks to get to places where they find opportunities for freedom and gain.  Some who already live in richer, more prosperous countries and places will often travel to poorer countries and neighborhoods, where some self-satisfaction is taken in others' poverty.  "I'm sure glad I don't live here.", we tend to think when among the impoverished.  Behind that thought underlies the notion that "We're (I'm) better than they are."

Those who live in the richest countries spend little time thinking about the possibility of going to a place of even greater prosperity.  "I have everything I need, right here.", they generally say, with a self-righteous pomposity that blinds them to the sight of better places beyond.

If we only travel locally, we may drive through a poor neighborhood and be relieved to be out of it.  We generally blame the poor and afflicted for being poor and afflicted, not understanding that poverty and affliction are often visited upon them by the despicable beings who enrich themselves by taxing and regulating their neighbors into poverty.

Catholic Fundamentalism holds that just as there are richer and poorer neighborhoods, countries, and continents, the poorest people are those who do not love God and their neighbors.  Those of us who endeavor to do so actually live in another country, despite our status of poverty or wealth.  In that country, to which Augustine referred as "The City of God", people are like, to use a crude comparison, super-nudists, baring not their bodies but their souls.  Daily, even hourly, they offer their souls up to He Who programmed them, begging Him to let them be worthy of obtaining a passport to live in His country.  Forever.

                                                             Rationers want to be gods.

It's deeply disturbing to those who hate that people go to houses of worship and do two things that leftists despise, make donations and ask God for help.  Those overwhelmed by their own vanity prefer that they be given the money and that they be asked for help.

They know that we can be forced to need their help when things are scarce.  So, those who would be gods work to make things hard to get, replacing plenty with shortages.  We see them making every thing they can as scarce as possible.  Nuclear energy is so cheap it's practically free.  Instead, we have windmills that produce power which costs sixty times more.  Medicine is similarly being rationed from those out of favor, so older people aren't living as long in countries whose medical systems have been seized by the self-proclaimed deities.

Food costs are vastly higher because artificial scarcities of irrigation water have been imposed.  Good education in the public schools is vanishing, while cheaper and more effective means of teaching are discounted, ignored, and driven out of existence.

Public transportation costs, high enough to buy a car for everyone who needs one, are escalating.  Two of America's largest producers of automobiles have been taken over by the government, along with banks, insurance companies, and whatever else they're able to grab.  More medical care is in the process of being rationed, accompanied by longer lines, higher costs, and earlier deaths.

We seem to be unable to retake control from those who would be gods.  God, of course, can do so.  It would be a good idea to start thinking, talking, and living in such a way that He might be inclined to listen to our requests.

"O God, we have sinned.  Our nations have killed more babies than were destroyed in Babylon, Tyre, and Carthage put together.  We have elected officials who despise You, truth, and life.  We do not deserve to be spared from Your twin scourges of leftist tyranny and invaders who hate us.  We've seen what Your first and second scourges did to your people in Jerusalem, thousands of years ago. In our lifetimes, we have see Your twin scourges of hate-filled governments and murderous invaders in France, Russia, England, Scandinavia, China, South Africa, and Venezuela.  Please spare us with repentance and reconciliation rather than the wrath, retribution, death, and destruction we deserve for having moved so far from You."

The Decline of the United States

began to accelerate in 1964, with the "War" on poverty.  Trillions have since been spent on that "War", with the result that there are more poor people than ever.  Most of them, without the tax burden and deflating monetary values thereby imposed on our nation, would have been, and would be, living far more comfortable, middle-class lives in middle-class neighborhoods.

A year later, with the Griswold decision, birth control was legalized across America.  The government needed more middle-class women working and paying taxes.  The "War" on poverty had to be funded from the money that wouldn't be spent on the babies many middle-class mothers would never have.

Even that didn't generate enough taxable income.  The government needed more than the taxes generated by moving wives and mothers from home to workplace.  So, in 1973, abortion was legalized to reduce the numbers of the poor in the most brutal ways possible.

From that time, things have gotten worse in every area.  In the economy, our manufacturing base has been eviscerated.  America's ability to produce enough energy to be independent has been destroyed.  We are, literally, running out of power as investment capital is shunted to waste, pretence, and fraud.

Medical care has become so burdened with bureaucracy and lawsuits that we get less of it than ever.  Education increased its rate of decline in 1964 with endless new funding for infinite amounts of boobery.  For all practical purposes, education has all but disappeared in most public schools.  We have more Pre-Kindergarten classes than ever, and fewer high school graduates.  Literacy has plummeted, along with math skills, historical knowledge, and reasoning ability.

Only unwed mothers and fatherless children are increasing, supported by a welfare industry that add to the trillions wasted since the "War" on poverty began.  Our country is becoming "Michiganized", with our cities resembling little Detroits.

Our government seeks still more imaginary problems to solve even as it ignores proven solutions to real problems.  Once the leader in nuclear power, we see other countries building what we invented and moving to prosperity as we grow ever poorer.

It is our fault, of course.  We embraced, or did not fight, the sins against common sense, and watched as they grew.  God has turned His face from us.  He has destroyed countless cities, nations, and civilizations for disregarding Him.  He, Who has programmed an entire universe with each of us in it, is now doing the same to "modern" nations.

                                                                It's more amazing that

anyone would leave the Catholic Church than that everyone is not in it.   When we see how it has lasted, surviving all that She has endured, we see a living miracle in which each of us is free to play a part.

Catholic Fundamentalism's part is to relate the Fathers and Doctors of The Church, and The Church, Herself, with our own time, in which the Iron Age technologies that were there from Her beginning have been supplanted by the new skills that have brought us into the Age of Electron Flow Control.

This technology is a little bit closer to God and His operations than those of previous Ages.  It should be easier, now, to get a better grasp of God's power and the relevance of His Church and Her Sacraments.  But, many still turn away.

We may consider a simple synthesis:  "God is The Unprogrammed Programmer.  He is able to program energies and three-dimensional particles, that we may visualize as 3-D pixels.  He compiled them into things, systems, and beings.  He has programmed each of us to live within that Creation Program, which He programmed and maintains to give each of us us free will.  Each human being is a unique, living program who is free to accept or reject Him and His Operating Instructions.  He has downloaded an institution to provide for the needs of those who accept and obey. "

Would the "A-Saints", Athanasius, Ambrose, Augustine, or Aquinas disagree with that, once they understood about God's programming with pixels?

Concerned about the moral quality of political leaders?

According to today's reading, so is God:

Wis 6:1-11
"Hear, O kings, and understand;
learn, you magistrates of the earth’s expanse!
Hearken, you who are in power over the multitude
and lord it over throngs of peoples!
Because authority was given you by the Lord
and sovereignty by the Most High,
who shall probe your works and scrutinize your counsels.
Because, though you were ministers of his kingdom, you judged not rightly,
and did not keep the law,
nor walk according to the will of God,
Terribly and swiftly shall he come against you,
because judgment is stern for the exalted–"

While we, with good reason, deplore the self-serving, hate-filled thoughts, words, and actions that flow from the councils of bad governments, they should worry more about their own futures.  It's hard to imagine how many who embrace tyranny can avoid permanent punishment for the pains and agonies they inflict.

When they appear before us in the endless, usually staged, appearances, we should ask The Programmer to send angels into their minds and turn them from hate.  Such prayers may cause the intervention to make them more truly understand: "Terribly and swiftly shall He come against you, because judgment is stern for the exalted."

How's the Global Warming lie doing?

Every day, the lie gets harder to maintain.  The monthly temperatures for October are in:

Looks like the 3rd coldest October ever.  Making it worse, the "climate warriors" don't want to consider the fact that most of their temperature measuring stations are sited on airport runways, sewage treatment plants, and other places with higher than normal temperatures where they give artificially high readings.  If we factor that in, October may have not been the third coldest, but the coldest, in recorded temperature history.

Even as the temperatures have been dropping, levels of the dreaded boogeyman, carbon dioxide, has been increasing, even as temperatures continue to plummet.  So, the actual temperatures indicate that there are two lies being told, one about carbon dioxide increases causing to temperatures going up;  the other, that there is "dangerous, man-made Global Warming".

Dante describes such interlocking falsehoods as "compound lies".  The souls of those who tell them are automatically consigned to the lower circles of Hades, where the punishments are more painful.  It's important for our own spiritual development to avoid snickering at the awful eternity faced by shills and pseudo-scientists who have chosen faddy falsehoods over the truth they claim to value, automatically putting themselves among the tellers of "compound lies".  We should, instead, pray that God, The Loving Programmer, will sent His angelic programming assistants into their minds, reprogramming them to love truth more than money and/or fame.

But, their souls cannot be saved unless they decide to ask for salvation.  So, we should start at the beginning, not by asking the saints to intervene to change their minds, but to lead them to ask The Loving Programmer for the strength to renounce falsehoods.   We can do that every time we see the poor things on TV, hear them on the radio, or read their silly writings.  "Dear God, please send an angel with the power to help this person understand why he should renounce lying right into their minds."

It's much more productive to ask God to let them be better than to call them the names that describe what they are.

                                                              Direction is important.

Our prayers go to two places.  Some, invoking the help of saintly intercessors, go to the Altar of God, are mixed with the incense burning there, and rise directly to God.  The Lord's Prayer, offered "directly" go there, as well.

Specific prayers, like "O, God, help me get this job.", when not accompanied by a request for the guidance provided by a saint asked to intercede on their behalf, go to the Heavenly equivalent of huge boxes, spiritual versions of storage containers we have in our garages, basements, attics, and storage sheds.   When the saints in Heaven have time on their hands, they go through them, sort them out, and assign them to the spiritual "in-boxes" of the appropriate saint so that they may be placed on The Altar before God.  It may be imagined that this job falls most frequently to the most "Junior Saints", who do it cheerfully, all the time wondering "Why don't they do it right, and speed things up by directing their prayers to the proper department?"

The process is slower than taking advantage of the various spiritual prayer specialists and asking their help.  Trying to follow that chain of command shows that we care enough to relate our own concerns with what we've been told about Heaven and its workings.

When we're praying, for instance, for God to help someone thinking, saying, or doing something wrong, we should consider asking an appropriate Saint to request that an angel be sent directly into the mind of the malefactor to drive out the demons that have disordered it.  If a person on live television, for instance, is saying something stupid, we might ask St. Thomas Aquinas to send an angel to straighten out the intellectual mess within.  Once in a while, when we do this, we will notice the person get slightly off-track, indicating that if more of us made such requests, some such souls may be made aware of just how wrong their thinking is and be saved.

                                                                   Coins have two sides.

We are all aware of illicit, improper desires that, if dwelt upon, have the result of separating us from the Loving God Who programmed us with all the gifts we have.  It's easy to be so focused on doing what is best for ourselves, hopefully for the longest haul, that we forget that those on the other side are similarly afflicted.

While we worry about demons getting into our minds and distancing us from God, they worry even more about angels coming into their minds, cleaning house, and bringing them nearer to God.   The demons within are allowed to stay out of the agonies of Hell only as long as they keep their assigned soul headed toward it.  They get the minds they control to do everything possible to assail, undermine, and assault soldiers (prayers for others are like living infantrymen, laser beams in angelic form) from God's army from quieting and expelling the carousing mob of howling demons.

Believe it or not, every sinner is racked with doubt.  They know what is being done to their own souls, and know where their souls are going.  Most are too spiritually handicapped to amass the necessary moral energy to fight back, reverse course, and move to what they truly know is their only source of salvation  After we get our own souls on a straighter and narrower path, we may encourage those around us to fight their demons, as well.

As awareness of the utter wretchedness of our own selves, and our perpetual tendency to be attracted to wrong relationships with the programmed entities and people around us, sinks in, we become aware of the fact that we have begun to love truth and neighbors more than lies and superiority largely by the immense grace given us from God and His followers.  Much of that great gift came from the prayers of those as concerned about us as we, in turn, should be about our own neighbors.

By asking ourselves, "Have I been asking The Programmer to provide programming assistance for others as much as I ask Him for a more favored position for myself within His Program?", we get an idea of how much more compassionate we may be.

                                                 A great experiment moves forward!

Those of us who are addicted to nicotine are increasingly impoverished by huge taxes levied on our relatively harmless addiction.  The first step in setting our own such addiction free of the tax-addicts' even more powerful addiction to more levies is to buy a cigarette-making machine, an easy-to-use crank-operated gizmo costing about $35.00.  It allows one make cigarettes by stuffing bulk tobacco into filtered paper tubes.  That worked well, saving me about three dollars a day in after-tax money for the past two years, resulting in keeping an extra twelve hundred dollars a year, $2,400.00 in total, in my own pocket.

The tax-addicts knew that millions of us were avoiding their taxes by making their own cigarettes.  They fought us do-it-yourself cigarette makers last March by imposing a twenty dollar tax on each pound of bulk cigarette tobacco, reducing our savings to only a couple of dollars a day.

So, I began the lengthy process of purchasing and planting tobacco seeds.  Each is about the size of a grain of sand.  They are not planted, but merely dropped on soil, often inside, weeks before the first frost.

The plants grow, slowly at first, and can then be thinned and the plants moved outside, planted in a sunny area.  If one is fortunate, a few plants will survive, and grow to be nearly four feet tall, each large leaf, about the size of a shoe-box top, all fairly brimming with the nicotine to which we are so unfortunately addicted.

A few days ago, I pulled a dead leaf off the bottom of a tobacco plant, and let it dry.  A few minutes ago, I crumbled that leaf over the opening in my cigarette-making machine.  I put a filtered paper tube (cost, 1.2 cents) onto the end of the cigarette machine, and turned the crank, making my very first home-grown and home-made cigarette.

It wasn't bad!  But, it doesn't burn as evenly as I'd like.  I need to crumble the leaves a little more to produce a more uniform size of particle, which I'm about to go and do right now.

Update:  It worked, but still burned erratically.  So, I put the remaining part of the leaf in the microwave for a minute, and made another, with drier, more crumbled tobacco.  Worked even better.  Next, I'll put pieces of dried leaf in the food-processor to get a more even size of leaf-particles.

This process has reduced my cost-per-pack to thirty cents a pack, the cost of twenty already-filtered paper tubes.  The last package of cigarettes I bought from a local store was six dollars and twenty cents.  Now, I'm saving almost six dollars a day, or $2,190.00 per year!  If more of us do this, the two million smokers in Pennsylvania, alone, would save four and a half billion dollars, most of which would otherwise feed the gaping maw.

Growing and rolling also avoids any number of the 600 different chemicals that commercial cigarette manufacturers put into cigarettes.  When they burn, no one knows what these chemicals turn into, or what negative effects they have on our bodies.  And, gowing and rolling lets us evenly and slowly dry the tobacco, instead of being forced to buy tobacco that is "quick-dried" in huge, gas-powered driers.

If we're going to smoke, this is the right way to do it!

P.S.  As word of this gets out (I'm certainly not the only person doing this!), we will see laws passed that increase the cost of the filtered paper tubes that our little crank-machines stuff with tobacco.  As I get more leaves dried, I'll try to use the leaves as cigarette paper, making little "cigars" that will avoid the coming tax on paper tubes.

Soon, we can expect nanny's usual "experts" to propose legislation making it illegal for unlicensed individuals to grow their own tobacco, citing the usual imaginary "health hazards".

One November job is praying for those who have passed on.

The eleventh month has been assigned as a time to pray for the beloved dead.  Their souls anxiously await our requests for intercession for them.  Often, we're the only ones remaining who realize how important they were to us.  Our prayers are thanksgiving for all they did for us, and for their eternal happiness.

We don't want to forget them.  We may be the only ones left who understand how important our deceased parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and others were who've helped us in so many ways.  Once we're gone, they'll have no one else to ask God to bless their immortal souls.  We should take advantage of Novembers' annual opportunity to provide this, most lasting help of all.

Our prayers for the beloved deceased help to move their souls closer to God.  That puts them in a better position to pray for we who remembered and helped them.  So, our prayers for the dead turn into prayers for us, the living.

P.S.  In that last sentence, I noticed that prayers are also pray-ers, which, one may suppose, is actually what a prayer is, a living being making a prayer.  This ties in with the Catholic Fundamentalism theory that sometimes, words are a form of living thing.

                                                              Words, like birds and bugs,

fly from one to another.  When we send pleasant, complimentary words into the living mind of another, we have actually sent some being to live in that mind.  If, on the other hand, we send viciously insulting words, we have sent a swarm of hornets, stinging and nagging.

The words we send forth live in our own minds, as well.  We remember, regretfully, unkind things we have said, and are haunted by them.  We imagine the effects they have had, and regret sending a part of our own anger or meanness to live in the minds of others, destroying some degree of happiness within them, leaving them with the desire to send foul words of their own to live in others' minds.

                                                                  Words are like dogs.

We sometimes use words as owners use trained dogs.  Some dogs attack and destroy.   Others guide the blind.  Feral dogs hunt down and kill sheep while their counterparts give their lives to protect their flock from them.  Others hunt down what we need to have found.  Words can do all these things.

                                                                 Words are like angels.

Words may be considered as life-forms produced by us human programs, similar to the angels of God.  We use words as God, in whose image we are made, uses angels to accomplish His will.  As God sends out armies of angels, we send words (usually too many) to others every day of our lives, usually to gain the assistance of others to help us get something done.  We also send our words to let people know what we think and feel about things.  When threatened, we use one kind of word.  When wanting to share happiness, another.

As angels reflect the will of God, the words we use reflect the desires of our souls.  When our souls are at peace with God, following His command to love Him and our neighbors, our words are messengers of peace.   But, to paraphrase the words of Chesterton, "when we find our God forgotten, and seek no more a sign" the words we send forth are harbingers of doom and heralds of hopelessness.

It's hard not to stop thinking about words.

Since we use words to think, talk, and write about what words are, we find ourselves programmed within a circularity that is not dissimilar to the vast Creation Program in which we live.   Concerning words; Catholic Fundamentalism begins with the idea that they are labels for various programs, as for His basic horse program or bird program.  Nouns are programs that identify things in The Creation Program.  Adjectives are modifying programs, like "fast" or "blue".  Verbs describe the various movement programs, and, most broadly, represent energies.

God, for instance personally had the "horse program" written and downloaded.  Over time, men have modified that program, producing Clydesdales, ponies, race horses, and plow horses.  So, words either describe "God Programs" or "Man programs", which indicate that our vastly lesser abilities, while they may turn iron into steel and oil into plastics, consist in modifications to various parts of His Creation Program.  The words "beaver dam", "spider web" or "ant hill" describe programs produced by programmed beings with lesser programming abilities.

Once we understand a little more of what words are, we may be struck with the idea that the words we say are "banked" in a celestial account.  When our souls go to judgment, that "bank account" is opened, and we are able to see how we used words in our lives, indicating where we've made our biggest deposits.  If we used words more to help than to hurt, we may then find that our account is there to be cashed in for our eternal benefit.

Each of our individual programs is, in the end,

concerned with the good and bad programs around us.  When we see a good program, a well-running human program wants it as much as it wants to avoid programs that are filled with errors.  We may conclude that the end result of the entirety of any individual human program is concerned with downloading good programs.

After birth, we were concerned about the food, warmth, and love programs as they affected us.  Accessing those programs helped us program ourselves to the desirability of "getting".  If we were fortunate, we were able to access and download programs that led our own program not to be overly greedy about getting things.  If we were fortunate, we came to realize that, having been programmed into existence in the image of The Programmer, we have an innate, programmed desire to be closer to Him.

As we grew, we may have been fortunate enough to discover that desirable things exist beyond our own senses.  Those who are perfectly content with getting earthly things often think that a concern with getting one's immortal soul into Heaven is "pie in the sky".  The more a person wants to accumulate programmed entities, the less likely it is that he will focus on something as ethereal as the salvation of his soul.

It is programmed to be that way.  For thousands of years, The Programmer has programmed each person with the ability to find out enough about Him to obey His Operating Instructions.  Those who will not open that part of their own, individual program cannot follow those Instructions and be saved.  Part of our job is to live in such a way that our obedience to His Operating Instructions is apparent.  An example of self-sacrifice will sometimes cause an otherwise lost soul to wonder, "Is he getting something I'm not?", or, "Am I missing something?"

Thus can the doorway to Heaven be opened.

                                                                     Intelligence

is measured by closeness to The Programmer.   When we see pseudo-intellectual nincompoops on television encouraging us to believe in the lies and frauds of the day, what we are really seeing are human programs who have distanced themselves from He Who programmed them.  He, Who is love, logic, and order is of the highest intelligence.  Those who have turned from Him to worship the most popular idols are so far from Him that they cannot even think well enough to realize that they have souls, let alone try to save them.

The sheer idiocy that flows endlessly from those who renounce The Programmer and His love for all is a foretaste of the stupidity and confusion that rules in Hell.

When we see such people bloviating endlessly about how much we will be "helped" by proposals that are too irrational to do anyone any good, we should remember that they have souls, often so shriveled and darkened that they're barely alive.  We should keep in mind, too, that each of them has a guardian angel, still working to lead them to salvation.  Praying for them may strengthen that angel, allowing him to put some love, logic, and hope into their being by accessing The Programmer's awesome power to re-program even the most lost and distant soul.

The lost souls on the state-run media provide as good an exercise in prayer as most of us can find.  Their smirks, name-calling, and self-righteousness are as painful as the lies they tell.

Praying for a media pawn as he or she is spewing lies on top of lies is hard, but it's the best thing we can do.  We may imagine our prayers as encouraging the angels to blaze away at the bulwark of lies they have built up around their imprisoned souls.

                                                               The Party of Death.

It's hard for many of us to understand just how much some people love it when other people die.  We speak of a "Culture of Death", but rarely of a "Party of Death", delineating those who believe "problems" should be solved by reducing the number of people.  In a bizarre twist of words and reality, those so far from God that they hate life proclaim themselves to be "enlightened" and "progressive".

Are those in the Death Party as different from us as we might at first believe?  All but saints have sometimes wished harm to come to enemies, and some have fantasized about eliminating evil by getting rid of those who do it.   To the extent that we participate in such thoughts, some will happily accuse us of being part of the same destructive process that may, if we are not careful, move us closer to being actual members of the Party of Death.

On the other hand, it was Christ Who said to His disciples, "Sell your cloak and buy a sword.", one of which was used by St. Peter to cut off the ear of one of those involved in arresting Jesus.  The Books of the Maccabees, which have been removed from Protestant Bibles that followed the first printing of their King James version, show God's chosen people killing invaders to defend their faith and themselves.  Those in the Party of Death are aware of the dangers of armed and organized believers, and do what they can to be sure that Christians are disarmed.

The Son Who told us to be armed, and the Father Who inspired the Maccabees to fight tyrants have a higher authority than those of the Party of Death, so their direction should be taken seriously.

                                                           Finally.  The Lies Collapse.

A couple of days ago, hackers got into the computer at Britain's Climate Research Unit, an English institution that supported Global Warming.  The hackers released hundreds of heretofore secret emails.  Many were from one Global Warming "Scientist" to another, suggesting ways to "make it look warmer" by jiggering the numbers.  Others mention the money to be made by perpetuating the fraud: “There are also budgetary items and grant monies- you wouldn’t believe how much money these boys play with.”, and discuss ways to have those funds sent to them without the inconvenience of paying taxes on them.

Those who prefer truth to lies are rejoicing.  Those who preferred lies are gnashing their teeth, outraged that this tax-supported scam no longer looks likely to remain their private, rich domain.

Catholic Fundamentalists use this as an opportunity to see how souls may be judged.  Those who embraced and expanded the lie, by their own admission, have been participating in a "Complex Fraud".  Dante tells us that those guilty of participating in "Complex Frauds" spend eternity in the lower circles of Hell, suffering agony forever.

Global Warming is also an IQ test.  The sooner a person identified Global Warming as a fraud, the smarter.  Real geniuses knew it was a fraud the day it began.  Fools still believe the lies, despite the massive new evidence of actual lying, deception, and emails telling fellow fraudsters how to manipulate the numbers to get the alarmist results they wanted in any number of hockey stick graphs designed to do nothing but frighten voters.

Fools will, of course, blame the leakers.  Then, they will say "Our concern for the welfare of humanity was the most important thing, even more important than truth."

Once again, they will subordinate truth to their own idols.  It's hard to pray for the souls of such nincompoops, but we probably should.  After a time of rejoicing.

It will be interesting to see how General Motors

does, now that it, like Chrysler, had been made into a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democratic Party.  The two companies have, of course, lost the patronage of all car-buyers who believe in private enterprise and free markets.  And, they've engendered the actual hate and hostility of those who believe that the wholesale looting of bond-holders' assets was morally indefensible.

On the other hand, it's not likely that Ford, Toyota, and the other American auto makers will get contracts for government vehicle purchases.  Obviously, the advertising dollars generated by the two hijacked companies will be spent with obeisant, state-run broadcasters.  Those considerable advertising monies will be sent to friendly media who praised the theft of monies, even though many of their own pensions funds suffered losses by having had the value of those bonds in their portfolios utterly erased.

Even as government money will be used to praise the products of the companies they stole, its enforcement arms will bring their iron fists to bear on all manner of legal violations.  Environmental regulations will be heavily enforced against the companies remaining in private hands.  Financing programs will be carefully examined.  Funding will be harder to obtain.  Everything possible will be done to increase their costs and raise their prices while General Motors and Chrysler will be given a free ride on every such issue.

Many Americans have short memories.  A few years will let many forget the pillage and looting.  But, some will remember.  They will not purchase their automobiles.

Some ask, "Why did the government want to take over the car companies?"  The answer is, "Because they could."  All governments are rife with people who want to see their power and numbers expanded in every way possible.  That's what they do and that's what they did.

                                                       Why aren't politicians brighter?

As one gets to know more elected officials, one is struck with how average many of them are in analytical ability.  Many seem to be driven by a desire to be liked, to be considered important, to be looked at, and to be heeded.  Politics provides an outlet for those who crave approval.

Political parties exist to keep those bright enough to actually solve problems out of office.  Those within the party structures rely on being able to provide jobs to their supporters.  Anyone interested in actually solving the problems of overspending, for instance, knows that up to half of all people in any agency can be let go in order to reduce expenditures without anyone noticing.   So, party leaders don't want people smart enough to institute efficiencies in office, it's too disruptive to the patronage system they've built up over their careers.

Party leaders pretty well determine who will be nominated for each office.  Short of some group of idealists hijacking the party structure, a hard job that takes so long that most involved are usually bought off in the process, we are guaranteed a steady stream of elected officials who owe their elections to the fact that they aren't bright enough to threaten the system.  Most are too busy preening to notice.

Everyone who gets elected wants to get re-elected.  They know that credible threats can be eliminated if they don't rock the boat.  "You don't want to be thought of as a radical.", they are warned so often that, after a few years, they are telling a new generation of idealists, "Don't rock the boat."

                                                                  Most politicians

are about a standard deviation or so above median intelligence.  Some of the smarter people tucked in at the right hand corner of the bell curve, if they want, manipulate many of them shamelessly.  Most who do so serve their own interests.  It does little good to be outraged as we see more and more about how the process works in the vast sea of corruption around us.

The rampant corruption is the result of too much Democracy.  The Programmer had His own reasons for downloading democratic governments on earth.  Catholic Fundamentalists understand that, for a time, He allowed various monarchies to take over Europe.  These tended to be tightly controlled systems that worked efficiently.  But, they didn't provide free will for nearly enough people.  A tiny handful of people around each king were able to soak up all the bribes and favors that were available, and would execute anyone who tried to get their own fingers in the pie.

Democracies made graft, theft, and lies available to virtually everyone.  The Democratic process gives each person an opportunity to exercise his free will when it comes to deciding whether to love their neighbors or to steal from them.

By having so many peoples switch to Democracy, The Programmer more easily sees which people loved their neighbors and which ones stole from them, and judges accordingly.  Democracy makes the separation of goats from sheep easier, faster, and foolproof.  We may see Democracy as the Automation of Judgment Day.

                                                                   Discouraging words.

There have been several columns on words, which Catholic Fundamentalists believe to be labels for programs that The Programmer has downloaded or that men have re-programmed from His programs.  We are programmed to utilize words to understand His vast creation program in which our individual programs are programmed to operate freely.

The idea of "words" as a type of "mental food" was not explored.  Just as good food, in limited quantities, helps the body, good words help the mind and soul.  Bad words, like bad food, hurt those who hear and use them.  The idyllic "home, home on the range" was described as a place "where seldom is heard a discouraging word", indicating that some words cause varying degrees of anguish.

When we use discouraging words, we take away the courage that all of us need to best utilize our own programs.  When discouraging words are used to describe people who aren't present, all who hear them lose courage, realizing that their own shortcomings may also be used to make them seem to be less than they are.  Those who hear discouraging words automatically realize that when they are out of earshot, discouraging words will be spoken about them, as well.  Such words are also discouraging to those who speak them, who, often being avoided because of their depressing descriptions of their neighbors, become more bitter and discouraged than ever.

Words can inspire courage, which is what encouragement is all about.  A step to increasing our own courage is to understand that those who prefer discouragement to encouragement are weak and fearful people, so enervated by their own lack of courage that the only way they can feel good about themselves is to make others feel worse.

                                                         When we're giving thanks today,

we should be grateful to The Programmer for programming our own souls.  After thanking Him for having programmed a living, self-knowing being with the possibility of drawing closer to Him within His vast Creation Program, we may consider that none of us has any abilities that He did not give us.  Thanksgiving is one of the 365 and a quarter days of the year that we should thank Him for having given us our lives, our abilities, and all we've made of them.

We should also thank Him for not being angry with us for not doing more.  One of the best things about worshipping He Who came and lived among us is that our God understands how weak we are.  Our sloth, both individually and collectively, is appalling.  Worse, when we let ourselves think about how much more we could have done, but didn't, it's easy to get depressed.

For that reason, we should be thankful for whatever time we have remaining.  Our past sloth is only useful when used as a spur, driving us to do more with the time remaining so that we can have the words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant.", reverberating in our souls forever as we eternally praise He Who wants the best for each of us.

Another thing for which we may give thanks

is having been given the ability to understand, identify, and refuse to be taken in by frauds.  We may be especially grateful for the wonders of the Global Warming Fraud.  Now, from New Zealand to England, we are seeing what appears to be the biggest, most blatant scam in scientific history.  Temperature records have been intentionally skewed, the entire "peer-reviewed" process has been shown to have been highly manipulated, people who wouldn't go along with the fraud lost their jobs, and vast sums of money have been identified flowing to those who ran the fraud.

Some of us were able to identify the fraud as soon as it started, noticing immediately that the same "scientists" who had been committed to The Global Freezing Fraud had jumped onto a gravy train heading in precisely the opposite direction.

The poor fools with little intellectual acuity and less moral courage in every government, industrial, academic, and scientific organization believed in, supported, and profited from this remarkably complex fraud.  The pitiful boobs are now easily identified, both on earth and in Heaven.

There, a Being with far more integrity and power than their precious "peer-reviews" will take will judge their souls.  Pray that they have enough sense to ask forgiveness before that happens.

More importantly, pray that we who have been given the great gift of faith do not take self-righteous joy in our own intellectual and spiritual superiority.  The grace to avoid such a grotesque pollution of self is a gift that God has kindly given us.  We should thank Him for shepherding us, keeping us from giving in to such temptations, rather than pridefully taking credit for our perspicacity.

He may not pleased when we take delight in the damnation of the despicable.  Or, He may not mind at all.  "Tut-tut.", He may be saying, while smiling broadly as He allows us to share the great joke with Him.

Through the Ages, many delight in Criticizing The Catholic Church

for what they see as its flaws.  In every age, doubters and nay-sayers point fingers, accusing The Church and those within it of various wrongdoings and shortcomings.

Catholic Fundamentalists understand that this is part of His Program, allowing goats to separate themselves from sheep.  In fact, The Church is the Body of Christ on earth.  Just as Jesus, God's Program in living, human form, was maligned, insulted, threatened with death;  finally to be scourged, beaten, and crucified, so must His Body on earth continue to be.

We see the malevolence directed against Her as a continuation of the process put into place by God's having, as Zechariah prophesied He would, come to earth.  It is part of The Program that His Body on earth continue to suffer the same outrages that were inflicted upon Him.  Why would He want that in His Program?

Those who use the flaws of The Church as excuses to attack, criticize, and abandon Her put themselves among the goats, separated forever from the sheep by their own self-righteousness.  They are unable to see that, from the bystanders who said, "Why can't He come down from the cross and save Himself?" to the critics of today, there has been a chorus of the damned regurgitating the same litany of perceived flaws as excuses for their own apostasies, a cursory examination of which shows them to be repetitive, boring, and prompted by an excess of individual and collective vanity.

The flaws upon which they focus are largely the same from age to age, but each critic believes himself to be among the first to discover them.  Such souls are so lost that they do not understand that the existence of such perceptions are an important part of The Program, and that their free alignment of themselves with the enemies of God is part of The Program.

Those who have taken their perverse delight in attacking The Church Who can save them make such obvious changes or reductions to their own souls that Judgment Day goes very quickly.  What follows it does not.

Lots of the usual gloom and doom chit-chat going on.

The far right is concerned about the country collapsing.  "Our debt is too much for our descendants to pay.  We are headed for bankruptcy."

Catholic Fundamentalists wonder.  When we consider that 95 out of every hundred people once depended on agriculture to make a living, and that now only five out of every hundred are so involved, we wonder what the other 95 people are doing.

The farm jobs that decreased because of agricultural automation, tractors, milking machines, mechanized pickers for grain and vegetables, etc., were transferred to manufacturing.  People left the farms for the cities, and political power made a similar transition.

Then, automation hit manufacturing.  So, governments started to invent reasons to hire people.  Again, political power was transferred to the public sector from the private.  As jobs are exported to places with lower property and income taxes, places devoid of expensive, impossible-to-follow regulations, unemployment naturally must go up, to the cheers of the left.

Government is today's haven for those unable to be in the five percent of agricultural workers or the 15 percent of manufacturing workers.  Those jobs are never automated, never replaced, and always increased.  So, we see tens of millions of "workers" doing little but going to meetings where what they talk about can be boiled down to one word, "counting".

It was an axiom of Lenin's that "everything should be counted."  Government does a lot of "counting".  In a healthy society, this causes no problems, keeping a lot of people off the street while providing the illusion of doing something useful.

When government is controlled by those who hate their neighbors, it manipulates the "counts" to "scientifically" justify the next step, which is to increase the scarcity of products while destroying whatever productive capacities remain.  Those who hate their neighbors begin to use their power to stop production of anything that's necessary.  Energy production, transportation, the semi-free remnants of manufacturing, finance, medicine, communications, transportation, and virtually all human activities are put under stifling controls.  This promotes scarcity.  Scarcity leads to rationing and long, long lines, the dream of every tyrant.

Is there a bright side?  Standing in long, long lines gives us lots of time to pray.

                                                                        Bernal Diaz

was a 24 year old Spanish sailor who explored in the New World.  He was on a ship that may have been the first to land on what is now Mexico.  When the vessel anchored offshore at Catoche, in 1517, on the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, several of the went ashore, entering a nearby town they they had seen from the ship and described as the largest town they'd seen.  Around some kind of a square there were three masonry buildings, which Diaz describes as "prayer houses".  "They contained many idols of baked clay, some with demons' faces, some with women's, and others equally ugly which seemed to represent Indians committing sodomy with one another.  Inside the houses were some small wooden chests containing other idols and some disks made partly of gold but mainly of copper, also some pendants, three diadems, and other small objects . . ."  The sailors were not bashful about taking the chests with them when they returned to their ship.

After battles with other Indians down the coast, who may have been enraged about the cavalier theft of holy objects at Catoche, the chests, or some of their contents, were taken back to Cuba, where they were examined by the Spanish rulers.  "The idols aroused particular interest, and some attributed them to the Jews who were exiled by Titus and Vespasian and sent overseas."

That is a very odd and intriguing sentence.  Did they find Stars of David baked in clay?  Menorahs?  Of all the weird-looking animals, people, and monsters portrayed in Mayan design and architecture that we've seen, is there anything that would inspire anyone to consider them to be of Jewish origin?  It's not unreasonable to assume that the educated Spanish who were running Cuba would have been familiar with all manner of Jewish art, since they'd been taught to look for it during the days leading up to the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492.  Men with that sort of experience, regrettable though it now appears to be, concluded that there was something definitely "Jewish" about their origin.

Babylonians were the most astronomically advanced of all ancient peoples, and many Jews spent three quarters of a century, and some, far more years than that, in close proximity to the best astronomers in the ancient world.  Now, if we want to tie Jewish-looking objects together with the amazing Mayan calendar, we may conclude that the Mayans, whose earliest script goes back to about 300 B.C., may have learned some basics of their very precise sidereal computations from Jews who'd learned astronomy from the Babylonians among whom they lived.

Unfortunately, a great deal of popular "intellectual" history concerns connections that are about as verifiable as the above.  Similar theories, with fewer facts and less complexity than this, have been turned into entire books.

What we should do when we make such a connection, or see that another has done so, is file it in the "Interesting, if true." department.  Sometimes, as if by magic, we will later see confirming or denying facts appear in the vast sea of information in which we swim.

                                                                    Brain children.

A good idea is sometimes described as a "brain child".  Such an "offspring" often has more time and money devoted to it than a real child.  If the person who produces a "brain child", and spends a lot of time and effort on it, light bulbs may illuminate the world.   Or, a new kind of electrical generating device.  Squirt guns, swim fins, typewriters, computers, and every other product that we use was, at one time, someone's "brain child".

We see how important a contribution such things make to our lives by how often we use them and how important they are to our own lives and careers.  Complicated "brain children", like artificial hearts, have many fathers.

Some ideas are bad.  The person who came up with the idea of the guillotine helped to cause lots of deaths, as did those who came up with various poison gases, iuds, and abortion inducers.   These "brain children" are monsters.

Ideas, in and of themselves, are children of human minds.  The ideas transmitted through The Church are helpful to all concerned.  Other ideas are hurtful, and cause destruction, monstrous in their effects.   We see in the recent exposure of fraud in the Global Warming "Problem" that some ideas are twisted things that lead others farther from the truth.

An idea that changes the way people think and act may be compared to a living being.  Ideas that lead people to God, love, and truth are, in a way, angelic beings.  Those that encourage others to nothingness, hate, and lies are demonic in their nature.  As they spread through minds, the corruption that they are keeps people away from God, truth, and love.  Such ideas include communism, unrestrained capitalism, manic environmentalism, and all forms of population control.

We may use Kant's "Categorical Imperative" to judge whether "brain children" are good or bad.  "If everyone did this, would we be better off?"  Utterly heartless cultures used to expose their babies, putting them outside after they were born.  If they survived the night, despite cold, dogs, and their infant weakness, they might be brought into the family.

Brain children should be exposed to the harsh criticism of the world so that those which are harmful may not be allowed to infect the rest of us.  As it is, only those ideas that encourage belief, love, and truth are so exposed.  The others are protected in an artificial bubble, maintained at great expense.  Upon its inevitable bursting, much harm is found to have been done.

Can you stand hearing about another lie?

            CO2back1826-1960eorevk.jpg

So, this graph shows the parts per million of the dreaded carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.  Seems to go up and down.  Today, it's gone up from 1960 to about what it was in 1820, and a little less than it was in 1940.  Not much actual danger, here.  If the levels of carbon dioxide fall too far, all warm-blooded animals will die, so we'd be safer if there were more than the minimal amount there is.

What's the point of making a life-sustaining necessity like carbon dioxide into something dangerous?
