Thursday, January 31, 2009, the last day of 2009. Another year ends, as have thousands. In retrospect, one of the best things about Catholic Fundamentalism is its ongoing focus on God's power. When we see Him as The Unprogrammed Programmer, and understand that He is able to program energies and particles, compile them into systems and beings, and download each one of us within His huge Creation Program, we may feel the same lightness of being familiar to an over-loaded pack horse that's been relieved of its burden. The more we live in the world, the more lies and contradictions we are forced to carry. They weigh us down, depressing our minds and spirits. Once we understand that God can program in many dimensions, we see that things are far simpler than some would have us believe. Everything boils down to the paramount consideration: Each person has one, overriding mission, and that is to join our soul with He Who programmed us. St. Ignatius tells us that our thoughts come from one of three places: They may come from our own minds, they may come from good spirits whose goal is to help us save our souls, or they may come from evil spirits whose mission is to have us send our souls to live forever among them. As we pray, our soul grows closer to God. As we do, His spirits have an easier time getting through the lessening clouds of confusion to help us. But, just as we each have a Guardian Angel who can call upon any number of the Heavenly Host to help us, the other side has assigned an evil being whose job it is to lead us astray. It is made to work harder, and may be given more power from its master, as we move toward He Who made us. Since evil spirits usually pretend to be helping us, we need to pray for guidance so that we may distinguish between the two. As a general rule, the spirits that want to lead us astray will encourage us to believe lies. When we look at lies, we see that some are so widespread as to be accepted as truth. Evolution is the perfect example of a global lie. First of all, it's amazingly widespread. "Educated" and "enlightened" people on every continent embrace evolution to a degree that keeps them from even considering that God is powerful enough to have programmed Creation. Because they do not see that He programmed The Creation Program with enough "evidence" to let lost souls choose not to believe in Him, it's not hard to see why evolution is a very important part of the other sides' catechism. When we suggest that the theory of evolution is a vast fraud designed to keep human beings from seriously considering God's power, the looks of astonishment, even outrage, are almost automatic. As a rule, they increase proportionately with how "well-educated" the hearer believes himself to be. When Catholic Fundamentalism suggests that God, The Unprogrammed Programmer, wrote and downloaded the entire Creation Program out of particles He has the ability to program and compile, simply to give us free will, the intellectual foundations of Babylon are undermined by an alternative theory that gives us a cosmology that's in accord with Holy Scripture. There are not many such ideas around. We know, of course, that believing in evolution does not keep a soul from Heaven. But, believing in the God-distancing theory of evolution does keep us from the amazingly deep joy of understanding that grows within us as we consider all the details that God programmed just to give us beloved human beings free will, the exercise of which is the purpose of The Program.
Friday, January 1, 2010, the first day of 2010. Usually, each month begins with a column explaining why Catholic Fundamentalism is important. As frequent readers know, Catholic Fundamentalists believe that God is able to program both energies and particles, which we try to visualize as pixels in three dimensional form. He can compile these energies and particles into beings and systems, and has downloaded them in His vast Creation Program in order to provide us with free will. As we grow in understanding of that, we can't help but move closer to God. His overwhelming power becomes more manifest every day. That awareness does two important things for us: First, it helps us see His awesome abilities. Second, we are able to get more frequent glimpses of our own comparative insignificance. The vain among us do not wish God to be seen as powerful, let alone loving. They have an ever greater desire to keep from having their own self-importance minimized by the contemplation of a Being so vastly superior to them in every way. That is as The Program intended. But, for believers, things turn around with amazing speed. Suddenly, we who have a greater appreciation of the Unprogrammed Programmer's power, and become more humble as we compare His power with our own, understand that He loves us enough to suffer and die for us. That knowledge, when incorporated into our lives, reinforces a healthy degree of humility while showing us that we're far more important than we may have previously realized. If we were truly insignificant, He'd not have suffered and died for us. Since He did, we are important, but only as long as we think, speak, and act as if we aren't.
Saturday, January 2, 2010 Magic answers abound. We have the opportunity to solve many of the problems we have with a variety of endless solutions that can be found in every media. Some magic answers are chemical in nature. They run the gamut from mood and mind altering drugs to chemicals that promise weight loss. Many try them, and some say they are helped by doing so. Other magic answers, like hypnotism, yoga, and saying "Ommmm." repeatedly are also said to improve the way the mind works. Problems of self-esteem are said by some to be solved by the purchase of more expensive clothing, transportation devices, jewelry, and temporary relocations to exotic locales Monaco, Antarctica, or to see an eclipse. Some magnify their sense of self worth by accumulating precious metals. Others buy antiques. Many collect things that they feel will show others that they have a special sensitivity that sets them above their less refined neighbors, most of whom are too polite to show their boredom when viewing or hearing about others' collections. Some of us try to find solutions to problems by absorbing knowledge, driven to build a ladder, with facts as rungs, the climbing of which they feel will help them reach goals on this earth and beyond. Such people have a tendency to not understand how boring the too-frequent sharing of such information is. We may imagine a young, unweaned puppy that's separated from its mother. It is whining, frantic, and miserable because it cannot find her. It will run desperately to whatever it thinks might be her. All of its problems are caused by having been separated from its source of life. So are ours.
Saturday, January 2, 2010 As the map shows, we are buried in lies. The latest weather map does not show Global Warming. It does not show temperature stagnation. It shows, in fact, Global Freezing: Just in the past week, the little dots show lots of snow and cold. By Christmas, two thirds of the U.S. was snow covered in a winter that the state-run media predicted would be "warmer", following a summer that had no hurricanes, despite the fact that many of the same predictors prophesied up to a dozen of them. Temperatures have been bitterly cold and the Florida citrus crop is in danger of being destroyed by heavy frosts. Heavy frosts in Louisiana have forced strawberry growers to cover their fields in plastic. In Beijing, it's the coldest weather in forty years. One can't help but wonder how much longer reality can continue to conflict with "Global Warming" theorists , and still have any but the dumbest think it's a threat. So far this winter , four or five people were admitted to have been frozen to death in Chicago. Not Moscow. Chicago. Despite long decades of dedicated Community Organizers tirelessly getting Chicago's communities organized, agonizing deaths from cold weather continue to be visited on the old and helpless. Not much effective organizing is apparent, there. Not in Maryland, either. Last week, four more people died from the cold. Last year, 54 people in Maryland froze to death. Many blame "fat-cat bankers", "greedy utilities", and that hoary old standby, "the Bush Administration" for these deaths. That piles more lies on top of earlier lies, but what else can they do? The Global Warming Lie has had a lot of money and credibility invested in it, and must be protected at all costs. Because job prospects for people who made a living by lying, and then stopped lying, are limited, there is no shortage of eager volunteers to explain that record cold and snow are integral parts of "Global Warming". Stalwart defenders of the pyramid of lies will keep on lying, and never, never, never connect the dots. Last week, Global Warming also brought freezing temperatures to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East: In the past few days, 90 people have frozen to death in Europe, 79 in Poland, shown in bright blue colors that indicate temperatures over 30 degrees below normal. "Denialists" and "skeptics" and "flat-earthers" look at record-breaking blizzards and freezing temperatures and come to the conclusion that Global Warming is not a pressing problem, and may, in fact, be a vast fraud. Such people, including about 35,000 scientists, are ignored by those who continue to insist that "The overwhelming consensus of the scientific community", relying on "peer-reviewed research" cannot be denied, and conclude "Global Warming is the greatest threat that humankind has ever faced." You pays your money and you takes your choice. That exercise in free will reflects, if nothing else, how well your thinking reflects reality.
Monday, January 4, 2009 An incredibly odd political occurrence: From an article about the treatment of homosexuals in Africa and the Mideast: "We need to remember that there are other countries — like Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Somalia — that currently execute gay people," Republican Congressman Joe Pitts said. "I hope those countries will receive at least as much attention, along with countries that execute people for their political and religious beliefs." Oddly, that defense of homosexual rights was made by a Republican, whose party is endlessly castigated by the gay community. In the meantime, Democrats make no substantive steps to protect members of the gay community in the Middle East, where they are routinely hunted down, tortured, and executed. The same persecuting groups want to do the same things to homosexuals in the United States and Europe. It's mystifying that polls indicate 75-85% of those in the gay community are reliable votes for Democrats. Some people just don't want to, or can't, distinguish between friends and very real enemies.
Tuesday, January 5, 2009 All lies are intended to destroy human souls. When we look at the big, widely believed lies, we see one common feature: all of them either deny God or make Him so distant as to be meaningless. Marx wrote "Das Kapital" in 1867. It has become a foundational lie upon which later leftists would base their own distortions of God and man. Interestingly, Marx wanted to dedicated the second volume of it to Charles Darwin, whose works also became the foundations of big, widespread God-distancing/God eliminating lies. Those two big lies, culminating in Communism and evolution, are still used by those who want to justify and pass on their hatred of God and neighbor. No one knows how many deaths they have caused, or how many babies they have kept from being born, but the numbers are in the billions. When we explore the structure of an evil society, it's comparable to climbing an Aztec's pyramid of lies. On the lowest level are the biggest lies. They are solid enough to support the smaller lies above them. At the top is a small slaughter-house. There, innocents are sacrificed by the high priests, those who have believed and mastered all the lies that keep their neighbors under them and in their control. In our own society, the big lie that exalts "equality" is used to justify elitists in taking from those who have, keeping some of it, and doling out the rest to those whose only efforts are expended in getting more. Equality, of course, does not exist in Heaven. There, God rules supreme, and the choirs of angels praise Him in ranks. Within those ranks, there are hierarchies. So it is with governments. One may assume, while watching the European democracies collapse and becoming increasingly aware that ours is shakier than ever, that democracy, over the long haul, will not work when focused excessively on "equality". In the drive for "equality", we now see that medical practices which would have been called "quackery" a generation or so ago are now receiving "equal" funding. We see that homeowners, who used to be thrifty, working people, now share that title with those able to get mortgages with preferred rates and no money down. The idea of equal rights has resulted in what our grandparents would have called "abominations" in many areas. The desire for equal education has made all education worse, replacing academic excellence with learning how to make things ever fairer. Just as good teachers are paid no more than bad teachers, equality demands that no one receive more on the basis of merit. As such "equalities" spread within and among them, nations grow ever farther from God and the hierarchies of Heaven, leaving only collapse and tyranny ahead. Is there an alternative to the "big lies"? Catholic Fundamentalism begins by assuming that God can program energies and particles, compile them into systems and beings, and is helped in this process by ranks of angelic Programming Assistants. We feel that His Programming had to provide human beings with free will, so that no person can look at any part of the Creation Program and be intellectually or logically forced to believe in Him. He wants us to choose Him and His Truth so that we may be saved. The uncontradictable theories of Catholic Fundamentalism eliminate the need for evolution. The hierarchy that made it possible, if His will is "done on earth as it is in Heaven", will replace both Communism and "equality" as the only things worthy of belief. Catholic Fundamentalism helps us understand that equality does exist, but only in our capacity to believe and obey His Operating Instructions. It is that belief and obedience that determines our rank in Heaven. No leftist likes the ideas of Catholic Fundamentalism. Neither do the many Catholics who've grown comfortable with compromise. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 What prompts people to prefer Pyramids of Lies? St. Ignatius encourages those who consider participating in his Exercises to consider three sins. The first sin was that of the angels, who chose to rebel and were, it seems, immediately condemned to Hell for doing so. The second sin was committed "on the plains of Damascus" by Adam and Eve's refusal to obey what Catholic Fundamentalists think of as the "Operating Instructions". The third are the sins committed by any of us that have resulted in the sinning souls being sent to Hell. What causes us to even want to sin? Why would we choose to disobey God and be condemned to an eternity of pain? Vanity. The First Operating Instruction that The Programmer downloaded was "To have no other gods before me." Those in, on, and supporting the Pyramids of Lies have violated that First Commandment. It behooves us to recognize our own tendency to think more highly of lesser things than of He Who programmed all and kindly programmed each of us within His vast Creation Program.
Thursday, January 7, 2009 There are now more people living in America's Pyramids of Lies than there are people who actually make things:
Few of those living in the well-paid Pyramids of Llies understand that when the blue line, representing the number of people making a living by adding value to things, goes down, there are fewer people to support them. Those who live in and rule from the Pyramids of Lies have to resort to ever more brutal means to get more money from fewer goods-producers. So, taxes go up. Then, more businesses go under. More unemployed people start leaning on political connections to "Get me a job! Any job!". The blue line, representing actual producing citizens, goes down more rapidly and the red line, representing those who've moved into the Pryamids of Lies, goes up sharply. When we consider this graph in terms of goods that are actually produced, it's not as bad as it appears. We can't forget that the goods-producing workers have become much more efficient. The actual output of goods produced has continued to increase during these years as automation lets fewer workers produce more. The real danger to the state is seen by understanding that the most important thing this graph measures is political clout. Today, the number of voters who are dependent on taxes is greater than the number of goods-producers. As the number of those dwelling in the Pyramids of Lies increase, and the number of producers decreases, officials in any democracy are going to go where the votes are. Legislation will increasingly favor the people living in the Pyramids of Lies. That continues a vicious cycle (in which Great Britain is farther along than we) where it becomes easy for foreign manufacturers/governments to bribe a few cash-starved people living very high up in the Pyramids of Lies to make it impossible to produce goods in their country, usually under the ever-handy umbrella of imaginary environmental problems, the only publicized solution to which is invariably to move those jobs to their own nations. Soon, the number of goods-producers has dropped, skills have disappeared, and the country is utterly dependent on foreign manufacture. As that happens, prices of goods begin to increase with remarkable speed, and the tax income that formerly went to the country's own pyramid dwellers is now transferred to pyramid dwellers of other nations. It's what happens when The Programmer stops having His assistants help peoples who have disobeyed His Commandments.
Saturday, January 10, 2009 According to the other side, no problems must be solved. And, imaginary problems must be invented to help keep real problems from being solved. And, phony solutions must be invented to distract from solving real problems with real solutions. Those on the left side of the bell curve, frankly, aren't smart enough to solve real problems. The angry and bitter among them move into the Pyramid of Lies that every government eventually provides. Today, we see problems of energy shortages. Yet, no one is allowed to drill new oil wells. No one is allowed to build nuclear reactors. There are lots of purportedly good reasons why no one is allowed to solve the shortages in energy, but all of them are lies. We have recently seen, for instance, the Global Warming lies collapsing around us. Still, no nuclear reactors. No new coal-fired generators. No new oil wells. Why? Because those on the left side of the bell curve, angry with, rather than thankful for, the gifts God has programmed within them, want more than their abilities would allow them to make in a free society. So, they feel compelled to make every society less free. They do that, ultimately, by keeping all real problems from being solved. Instead, they are maintained and milked for all they are worth. To them.

We have to feel sorry for them. Their view of reality has been so intentionally distorted, and they have chosen to think those distortions are reality, that they can no longer see truth, even when it stares them in the face.
Monday, January 11, 2009 Another wonderful fraud from The Pyramids of Lies: A sizable body of evidence exists to show that low-level radiation, typical of the radon found in some homes, is actually good for you. A google search (they must not have cleaned out the politically incorrect scientists) of "radiation hormesis", shows that : "2.1. Japanese studies: 1. UNSCEAR report (1994), among A-bomb survivors from Hiroshima and Nagazaki who received doses lower than 200 mSv, there was no increase in the number of total cancer death. Mortality caused by leukemia was even lower in this population at doses below 100 mSv than age-matched control cohorts. So, those in the Pyramids of Lies are taking something that's actually good for people and demonizing it, simply as an excuse to hire "green workers" and send them into people's homes and work places to get rid of something that's making people healthier. Obviously, those who study hormesis realize that some radiation, at low levels, actually makes the body stronger. Getting rid of radon is a fairly simple procedure that involves venting basements. That, of course, increases the use of heating fuels. In one of the Pyramids of Lies, increasing the use of heating fuel is bad. In the nearby Radon Pyramid, still one of the smaller Pyramids of Lies people, say that it's good to burn more fuel to keep continually vented spaces warmer. Don't expect any argument between the two Pyramids of Lies. As long as more people are impoverished, confused, and made less healthy, everyone living in the Pyramids of Lies is happy.

"FREEDOM CAN GO TO HELL" pretty much sums up the Moslem thoughts on the subject. No mention made of the fact that he's protesting with free speech in a comparatively free country. His thoughts on "freedom" are succinct, pejorative, and shared, at least for the moment, by the left. It was the enlightened left that encouraged and allowed him and his fellow travelers to enter England, where he's protesting against his new country. Hating any freedom to avoid desired levels of taxation, the left, heavily bribed by Arab countries desperate to get rid of the surplus population caused by polygamy and its subsequent shortage of wives for most men, brought in Moslem allies to help them destroy the free countries that honored real intellects more than the pseudo-intellectuals who did what they thought of as the "heavy thinking" for the left, self-proclaimed "geniuses" like Sartre and Alinksy. What they overlooked is that the hatred for them within the peoples they've brought to the English shores is a far greater, far more ancient hatred than even their own. As soon as protestors like this have destroyed freedom for the host culture, and allowed themselves, legislatively, to be tried in their own courts by Sharia Law, they will savagely turn on the left, whose practices outrage them. Moslems are militantly anti-abortion, anti-homosexual, anti-intellectual, anti-education, anti-culture, anti-tattoo, anti-art, anti-literature, anti-movies, anti-books, anti-promiscuity, and anti-everything else held dear by the left. Even the leftists have enough sense to notice that they've supported a government take-over by people who believe that killing the leftists who participate in such activities is a sure ticket to Heaven. One may sense The Programmer's programming behind what will become the mutual-destruction of the two groups who most hate Him and His Son. Soon, we can anticipate, the left will eventually become aware of what a remarkably stupid thing they've done, after many, many more leftists and homosexuals are slaughtered in the streets and in their homes. "What, we welcomed these people into our country and now they are killing us?" will slowly emerge as a coherent thought, something unusual in minds carefully trained to flexibly follow whatever political correctness they're told to obey, if only in the interests of "fashion". Even their pitifully disorganized brains will begin to realize just how incapable of foresight their own vanity and sin has made their minds. "Why did we ever do that?", the brighter among them may ponder, seeking an answer they are not equipped to comprehend. Some may realize that they only way they can survive is to ask Christians to help them. "Sorry", we'll say, "but it's not right to keep a people from from their 'cultural fulfillment'. We learned that from you." Though we may shake our heads when we realize, again, how stupid leftists are, in this case to have allowed their own mind-blinding drive to destroy any freedom that allows people not to be forced to give them money, to have established in power a well-organized, fanatic group of zealots who want to torture and kill every single one of them, we can see a magnificent sort of justice pervading the whole process. We can but pray that we are spared as the Scourge of God begins to fall.
Tuesday, January 12, 2010 The poster carried by the protester in the above picture shows a sign that's been professionally printed in quantity, not a home-made expression of feelings. We may, therefore, assume that it was produced at the behest of the head of a sizable organization who had to have money to pay for it. From this, it seems reasonable to conclude that this is not the only such demonstration that has been carefully orchestrated equipped with not only messages but also, with transportation and payment for participating. One may also wonder if the sign-carrier is able to actually read and understand the message on the sign he's carrying. When realizing that even the low temperatures of a cold, snowy day cannot impel him to figure out how to close his coat, we may find that it's not irrational to consider that he may have the same skills in reading and writing that he has in buttoning.
Wednesday, January 13, 2010 When it's a Slow Day in Heaven, Catholic Fundamentalists wonder if the process of judging souls and sending them to their final destination takes a different turn. "Listen, not too many died today. The Court's docket has some empty space. Want to let some of 'em argue with The Judge?", St. Michael may say, and, in the blinking of an eye it is done. A sad, burned out soul arrives, and is startled to find itself inside its old body so that it can remember, think, and speak. The automatic Soul-o-Meter is shut off. "It's up to you, buddy.", an angel whispers. "You've got to make your own case for getting into Heaven. If you blow this one, you really blow it." Like thunder, a voice booms through Heaven. Lots of souls instantaneously appear to watch. "Do you have anything to say for yourself before I pass judgment?" "Well, I had a lot of bad breaks. . ." he begins. "Any breaks as bad as this?", the Judge asks, showing His hands. "No, your honor, but I had a pretty hard time." "Crowned with thorns, were you?" the Judge queries, as a celestial video of His agonizingly bleeding head is shown to the soul standing before the bar. "Nothing like that happened to me. But, I was teased a lot in high school for being different." "Were you flogged by Roman soldiers because you told the truth?", comes from the bench, with a video that's pure pain projected onto a cloud suddenly turned into a high-pixel flat-screen TV that's indistinguishable from reality. The soul recoils in horror, feeling the pain projected from the huge screen. "I never felt anything as painful as that!", the soul says, beginning to cry with the tortured pain going through his own body, dimly feeling the pain he'd inflicted on others on earth. Suddenly, the soul's body disappears, and he's just standing there, his soul utterly naked. He looks up, shriveled with fear. "You soul is not so hardened that you can't feel another's pain.", the Judge announces. "So, you're in. But, if it hadn't been a slow day in Heaven, you wouldn't be. Technically, you're supposed to understand this and apologize for the bad things you did before your soul leaves your body." The soul passes through the Pearly Gates, transfixed with joy, not believing his luck. The same angel whispered, "Think you were lucky? He's the one who sets the docket." "But, the docket is determined by how many people will die that day." "He sets that, too. In this case, just for you."
Wednesday, January 13, 2010 Bombarded with "Serious Problems", it's easy to forget that "Serious Problems" serve to distract us from real problems. If we're busy worrying about Global Warming, and who's divorcing whom, and sports contests, we don't focus as much on real problems as we should. So, there are "Serious Problem" factories hard at work, cranking out endless media releases, each "Serious Problem" designed to distract us from our own, very real problems. If we ask ourselves what our biggest problem is, we'll come up with something hard. We aren't getting along with important people in our lives as well as we should, we need a job with more pay, our children seem to be out of touch with what's right, etc. We all have lots and lots of very hard problems. Few things are easier than to ignore hard problems and focus, instead, on what we're told are more "serious problems", like polar bear populations, Greenland's icecaps, volcanoes in Peru, or what Oprah wore to the Awards. The more distracted we can be from solving our own, real problems, the more easily we can be made dependent. One of the best "Serious Problems" to emerge recently was "The Nitrogen Dilemma." No one could actually define "The Nitrogen Dilemma", but since it makes up three/fourths of our atmosphere, it can be made to seem something about which we should be very concerned. On further investigation, "The Nitrogen Dilemma" was concerned with things that could happen to nitrogen, and if those things did happen, there might be serious consequences. Or, there might not. In the meantime, we may want to consider that we should not pay any attention to any news release that does not immediately affect us. Keeps from wasting a lot of time, and makes the people whose job it is to continually distract us gnashing their teeth in frustration. We may profitably wonder just why it is that we are so easily distracted by the Imaginary Problems that appear to us on a daily basis. We want to feel knowledgeable and intelligent about what's going on in the world. Since very few of us will ever understand international cash flows, it's doubtful that any of us actually are knowledgeable and intelligent about the inner workings of the world's societies. But, our vanity won't let us to admit how ignorant and helpless we really are. Vanity prompts us to struggle absorbing, digesting, and making sense of an endless array of media releases. That results in even more mental confusion, as we keep trying to make sense out of things that make no sense at all. Frankly, it may turn any of us into the functional equivalent of a moron. Not paying attention to any of the supposedly "Serious Problems", and then realizing that we're making progress in solving our own, real problems, will invariably prove the truth of the old adage, "Ignorance is bliss."

When we follow the Catholic Fundamentalism practice of seeing prayers as "requests for programming assistance", we may consider The Holy Wireless Connection that The Holy Wireless Connector is able to provide between our individual, human program and The Unprogrammed Programmer's Great Server at Programming HQ. With the help of The Holy Wireless Connector, our requests for programming assistance go to The Programmer. The solutions to our problems, often in completely unexpected ways, are sent through The Holy Wireless Connector, back to be made available to us. We should always be ready and open to the programming assistance that He, through His angelic programming assistants, will provide. That readiness is assisted by being confident that our request for programming assistance will be downloaded for us. That confidence, in turn, is enhanced, thereby making us more able to accept the download, by living according to The Programmer's Operating Instructions. In order to receive programming assistance, it helps greatly to be free from mortal sins, which are our gross failures to obey the Operating Instructions. Our willful errors act as insulators between us and The Loving Programmer. Such barriers between us and Him may be erased by the Sacraments, particularly Confession. It is as if our souls, minds, and bodies are lightning bugs, receiving power from an invisible transmitter over wavelengths that are invisible to us. That transmission gives us the ability to blink more brightly as we re-transmit the power we have received from His spiritual wavelengths to help provide the desired program changes among the programmed entities within us and in those with which, and, with whom we spend our days in the clay.
When we visualize making ourselves more receptive to getting help from The Programmer through The Holy Wireless Connector, we can't help but see very good reasons to be Catholic. No other religion has priests with the power to forgive our vanity-built insulators that keep us from Him. It is always our vanity (def.: thinking that our individual processing unit is more powerful than it is) that keeps us from those Holy Sacraments. That same vanity is the greatest of all the barriers that insulate us from The Programmer. Our vanity is an enemy to be fought every day of our lives. The holy men who've taken vows of poverty, celibacy, and obedience are our greatest allies.
Friday, January 15, 2010 Souls and Holes. We know that a sphere encloses the most amount of space with the least amount of material. Therefore, a sphere is the most efficient shape. Our soul, operating in wavelengths invisible to the vain, may be visualized as an "electronic sphere" that's alive. Sins and other operating flaws may be visualized as holes in the soul. If, for instance, a person is "pro-choice", he has one hole in his soul. If he's actively "pro-choice", the size of the hole increases as does his efforts on behalf of destroying more unborn babies. If he is "pro-choice" and believes in an Imaginary Problem, like Global Warming, his soul has two holes. If he is a pro-choice global warmer who believes that his neighbors' taxes should be raised, he has a "three-hole soul." Some souls make sponges and Swiss Cheese look positively solid. They are more hole than soul. That means the spiritual meniscus, the ethereal film around the soul, is stretched very, very thin. With each new false belief, there is another hole. Eventually, the soul collapses upon itself, just as a broken bubble. Most of us have holes in our souls. Many believe that the earth is twenty billion years old. That belief distances such believers from He Who programmed, loves, and wants them to join with Him forever. The soul and mind who make God less powerful in this way may be saved, but they tend not to spend their lives worrying about pleasing and obeying Him. This basic hole, drilled straight through the soul of every public school child, causes a life-long distancing from God. Other holes appear, at the behest of those in control of earthly kingdoms, to which Catholic Fundamentalists refer as the "Pyramids of Lies". The God-distancing "ancient universe" theories are accompanied by theories of evolution, by which God is made more remote, therefore, even less relevant. The distancing of God and His Judgment allows peoples to be more easily corrupted as they are taught that what their grandparents knew as "depravity" is "good". As souls grow more perforated, the likelihood of their salvation is lessened.
Does God, at Judgment, Grade on a Curve? One has to wonder if salvation is based on a constant. We know that we have to obey The Programmer's Operating Instructions to be saved, and that obedience requires us to love Him and our neighbor. In the 1200s, when European countries were far more religious than now, we may assume that there were a larger percentage of people saved. Does, for instance, the intentional missing of a Mass today have the same punishment today that it did then? Is sitting through a show or movie that would have been a mortal sin a couple of generations ago still treated as if it's as great a sin? There do seem to be more things trying to poke holes in our souls. Are we given credit for resisting even a greater number of evil spirits though we aren't as obedient as those who had fewer demons assailing them? Once, we were all taught to "avoid the near occasion of sin". Will those who have never had anyone explain that to them be punished as much as someone who never heard of it, and didn't realize that pornography, for instance, should be avoided?

There is a "Spiritual Bell Curve", an "Intellectual Bell Curve", a "Financial Bell Curve", and any number of similar visualizations of where each of us stands financially, socially, and spiritually. When those on the right side of the spiritual and intellectual bell curve have a meaningful say in what government does, a democracy can work. As democracies are increasingly controlled by those on the right side of the financial bell curve, they die. Some rich people get their money by doing bad things. When they organize, their inclination is to first subvert, and then take over, democratic governments. So, democracy always dies. Most voters see this happening. They know that, outside of a few acts violence that will be mercilessly put down, there is nothing they can do about it. The bulk of increasingly oppressed people are fearful of disobeying God's Commandments, and will, therefore, do little to stop their own enslavement. Democracy generally dies at the hands of disaffected urban mobs. As earlier in the Greek city-states and Rome, the intentionally inflamed and unchecked inner anger of those within the Paris mob was the foundation upon which the violence of the Reign of Terror was built, mobs of similarly bitter people in every nation anxiously await their chance to wreck revenge on those whom they believe have put them down. In the United States, the urban mobs have been swelled. After WWII, the left encouraged mass migration of poor Southerners into Northern cities, most of which were dominated by Catholic political machines over which parish priests and bishops exerted considerable influence. As whole wards were filled with new immigrants, The Church's influence was, according to plan, greatly diminished. Now, more immigrants from more countries are shipped in to expand the number of those taking money from a system whose taxpayers simply can't handle any more expenses. The left loves it. Last week's earthquake in Haiti provides them the opportunity for thousands more boatloads of people who will be utterly dependent upon them. Combined with massive voter fraud, they will push our government closer to collapse, riot, and all the goals of the worst people in the world.
Sunday, January 17, 2010 Today's Scripture Reading is particularly important to Catholic Fundamentalists. It records the first time in The New Programming Log that Jesus demonstrates His ability to re-program: " John, Chapter 2 1. On the third day there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2. Jesus and His disciples were also invited to the wedding. 3. When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine." 4. (And) Jesus said to her, "Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come." 5. His mother said to the servers, "Do whatever He tells you." 6. Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons. 7. Jesus told them, "Fill the jars with water." So they filled them to the brim. 8. Then he told them, "Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter." So they took it. 9. And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom 10. and said to him, "Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now." 12. Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed His glory, and His disciples began to believe in Him." When we, admittedly simple-minded, Catholic Fundamentalists, consider that passage, we see that if there were an average of 25 gallons of water in each stone jar, that Jesus re-programmed 150 gallons of ordinary water molecules into 150 gallons of very fine wine, a liquid with a vastly more complicated molecular structure. We also know that it takes an unusually fine wine to impress a person as superior as most headwaiters. Today, no wine that costs less than two hundred dollars a bottle would prompt such a hard-to-impress person experienced in every kind of wine snobbery. There are five bottles of wine in each gallon, so we see that Jesus Christ gave the fortunate wedding couple 750 bottles of extraordinarily impressive wine that, in those dollars, would be worth a minimum of $150,000.00 in our money. We also realize from the Passage that Jesus Christ began His mission on earth by obeying His Mother. He ended it in far less pleasant circumstances by obeying His Father. In both cases, there was an attempt to avoid doing so. In this case, when He told Mary, "My hour has not yet come." Before the Crucifixion, when He asked to be spared, if it was possible. By this, we see that He did have a human nature, because we, too, try to avoid hard things.

We could give it to the Dominican Republic, its next-door neighbor. Better yet, we could give Haiti to Venezuela. Even better, transfer it to Cuba. Both Cuba and Venezuela have leaders who endlessly claim to be making things better for people. It would be nice to give them a chance to demonstrate their abilities to do so. Haiti is one of the few places on earth that socialists could not hurt and might actually improve. It might, at the very least, keep them quiet.
Wednesday, January 20, 2010 Yesterday's election in Massachusetts has real significance. It is the third state-wide election in which the forces behind socialized medicine were defeated. At the same time, the five point margin of victory must be analyzed in terms of the likely five points lost to the Republican by voter fraud. There are still over a hundred thousand dead Bostonians remaining on the voter rolls. The buses full of union organizers, Acorn staffers, and others desperately desirous of bigger government worked hard to get those dead voters' votes recorded. It's likely that, had there been no fraud, the winner's real margin of victory was closer to 10%. The usual cries of "Racism!" were raised, but were more muted than usual. The President is still personally popular in Massachusetts, which undercut the "Racism!" message. The message Massachusetts sent across the country was clear. If voters in a historically far-left state will reject health care and more government intrusion into people's lives, the more conservative states are even more likely to reject big-government candidates. It was a great message to send to those running for re-election. It was the answer to millions of prayers.
Wednesday, January 20, 2010 When we see people whose positions we despise on live TV, there is a natural tendency to mentally dislike them as much as we dislike the conclusions to which they have come. When such a person (Barney Frank comes to mind) is announcing the false beliefs held by those who value vanity more than truth, we can silently curse them for being wrong, hateful, or crooked. It's better to pray for every person we see who's hiding or disguising truth. "Dear Holy Spirit, please get into that person's soul and mind and re-program him to love the truth. Quickly lead that person to renounce lying. Bring that person to love God and his neighbors. Move him to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." Such prayers actually cause the Holy Wireless Connector to make the spiritual connection, send an angelic communication into the person's mind, and begin to re-program it in accord with The Programmer's Operating Instructions. At many moments during the day, we get to see public officials and their shills blatantly lying on live TV. Rather than roll our eyes, or, worse yet, curse the person for bearing false witness, it's better to say, "Holy Wireless Connector, please sent a re-programmer into that person's mind and straighten it out." As more and more of us do that, The Programmer's power will increasingly make itself felt. We save ourselves the spiritually damaging feeling of anger that hurts our own souls while doing far more than is immediately apparent to help liars turn to truth, haters to love, and bad to good. Try it. It helps us learn to better love our neighbors, keeps us from short-circuiting our own minds and souls with negative feelings, and actually helps those for whom we pray to get their individual programs aligned with The Programmer's.
Thursday, January 21, 2010 A request for programming assistance is the spiritual equivalent of making a call for help on a cell phone. The message goes to a broadcast tower, and is forwarded to the number dialed. Help is soon on the way. Prayers go much more quickly. When we pray for someone else, we emit some degree of spiritual energy. By some miracle, that energy is quickly restored to us, along with a little bit more. This means that the more we pray, the more we can pray and that our prayers become more effective, over time, at getting the requested programming assistance. The soul, like a muscle, gets stronger with use. When we make a request for programming assistance, it helps to visualize what happens to the spiritual energy we've emitted. Our prayer goes to The Holy Wireless Connector. We understand that in Heaven, "the hardware is the software", and an angel is immediately dispatched, traveling instantaneously to the target. Let's say that we're watching television. The news show is about some insane new tax and spend scheme being promoted by Rahm Emmanuel and Senator Russ Finegold. (By the way, I pray for both of them in a novena and other prayers about 30 times a day. Don't know why I picked them. They just seemed bright enough to be open to The Holy Wireless Connector. My own decision to pray for them may have been prompted by the prayers of others doing the same thing. Be interesting to see, over time, what wonderful improvements there will be in their love of God and neighbors. Readers may want to pick their own candidate for "public official I'd most like to see saved", and are encouraged to do so. Robert Gibbs, the President's Press Secretary, seems to tell lies every day of his life. He'd be a likely candidate. The world would be a better place if all of us prayed that our two Senators would never make a vote that would keep them out of Heaven.) So, when we see some self-important person babbling about something they know is sure and certain nonsense, we should just ask The Holy Wireless Connector, "Please, Holy Wireless Connector, send an angel into his mind and remove whatever is keeping him from loving God, truth, and neighbor." It's like shooting at a distant target with a self-guiding bullet fired by the best sniper in the universe. The Holy Wireless Connector immediately understands, far better than we do, what the target for re-programming is. He zips in an appropriate Re-Programmer to make the necessary adjustments. It may not happen immediately, but spiritual changes, we know from our own pilgrimages, don't usually happen overnight. Modern technology has some crude gizmos that fire bullets at rapid rates of speed. The Holy Wireless Connector moves spirits far more quickly, more accurately, and for farther distances than even the fastest automatic weapon. Such deadly devices are especially good for supplying us with the visualization of how rapidly The Holy Wireless Connector works.
Thursday, January 21, 2010 When we think of our prayers as arrows or bullets able to change the minds of those at whom they are aimed, we have to remember that they're very small. It may take years of prayer to actually restructure another's mind. That's why Jesus's prayers were so remarkable. His very presence caused demons to flee. The more we pray, the stronger our prayers become, and we're able to make changes more quickly. We may wonder exactly how prayers work. Are they like a cue ball, sent rapidly into a rack and splitting off the undesired target balls? Or, are they like an arrow, quivering endlessly in a target, the vibrations slowly changing it to operate on another frequency? They may, like a laser, literally evaporate that at which they are aimed. We see from The Programming Logs, for instance in the passage about the demons going into a herd of pigs, that targeted demons are not necessarily destroyed, but are forced to vacate. Their eviction allows the person to restructure his mind in a way that helps it prefer to operate with truth rather than with lies.
Friday, January 22, 2010 Two ways of looking at a problem: Yesterday, a sincere supporter of gay rights related a story to me about a woman who was fighting against the legalization of gay marriage. She was appalled that the mother of a gay man had told him, "After seeing what you've become, I wish I'd had an abortion." Many see that statement as a typical example of homophobic harshness. I must admit that was my first reaction. In fact, I was haunted by it, and it slowly came to me that there was another interpretation. We may consider that a mother who'd make such a statement is a woman of great faith who's aware and fearful of the agonies suffered by the souls in hell. Such believers are often pro-life. They believe that voluntarily participating in an abortion is cause for automatic excommunication, according to The Church that holds the keys passed on from the disciple to whom they were given and the denominations following that tradition. What she may be saying is, "I love my son so much that I would rather have damned myself to hell for an agonizing eternity so that the soul of my unborn son would not be." This would not be the first time that someone made a statement expressing their willingness to sacrifice their own salvation because of their great love for others. Romans, 9;3 quotes St. Paul: ". . . my sorrow is so great, my mental anguish so endless, I would willingly be condemned and be cut off from Christ if it could help my brothers of Israel, my own flesh and blood (to be saved)."
Saturday, January 23, 2010 Two Great Pyramids of Lies have Collapsed. The recent election of a relatively unknown Massachusetts Senator running against a well-financed supporter of government lies seems to have permanently stalled health care "reform", at least in its giant-octopus form. At the same time, further revelations of emails show that the Global Warming fraudsters were at work not only in Europe, but also, at NASA and other U.S. Government "scientific centers". It's rare that two huge frauds collapse at the same time. We can sense that the party that enthusiastically supported both frauds is in unusual disarray. Talk of medical "reform" has largely disappeared. "Growing greener" and "sustainability" have become adjectives that describe morons, crooks, and liars. Professional Democrats appear to be reeling as the shock of their defeat in Massachusetts causes to consider that their own careers are now in greater jeopardy. Some go on, railing about the need for "change", but fewer take anything they say seriously. They'd like to build some new Pyramids of Lies, but the seekers of truth expose new lies as quickly as they're generated. The internet has become an instrument of truth against an establishment of lies. What a wonderful time to be alive! In it's own way, Catholic Fundamentalism continues to put forth the idea that by understanding God has the power to program particles and energies, compile them into systems and beings, and that He downloaded His vast Creation Program very quickly, even including lots of sub-programs that were written to give us human programs free will, that more lies may be exposed. One may look forward to seeing the underlying mistakes in geology and evolution better understood as manifestations of a human vanity struggling to deny God's power. It is not enough that the pyramids of lies be dismantled. Be nice to see their foundations destroyed, as well.
Sunday, January 24, 2010 Everything That's Wrong With the Republican Party in a Snapshot: This picture was taken back when more people thought Global Warming wasn't a fraud. Mr. Gingrich, who used to be a conservative, has "Drunk the Kool-Aid". He's sitting on a sofa near the capitol in order to show that he's concerned about Global Warming. His presence was orchestrated to show that since he recognizes that a "bi-partisan effort" is "vitally necessary" to solve this "dire problem", that all other Republicans should drink the same Kool-Aid. As a result of this picture, and for making other excessive compliments about occasional nuggets of sanity he purports to find among the lunacies of the left, he is no longer taken seriously, except as a perfect example of a sell-out, by most conservatives. One of the most interesting things in the picture, aside from portraying that their desire for fame has grown so swollen as to overcome their reluctance to publicly proclaim themselves to be willing participants in one of the biggest frauds in scientific history, is the remarkable similarity of their outfits. Symbolizing the similarities between them, their manly suits are so nearly the same color they're almost indistinguishable where they meet at the elbows with which they are nudging each other as they enjoy the huge joke.
Sunday, January 24, 2010 The Holy Trinity is composed of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Catholic Fundamentalists attempt to describe them in terms of current technological phraseology as The Programmer, Program, and Holy Wireless Connector. By either set of names, He is fearfully powerful and filled with love for us human programs. The Programmer's programs are error free. They have no contradictions or mistakes within them. So, why do so many human programs who freely operate within the vast Creation Program display thoughts, words, and deeds that are erroneous? There is a "king of viruses" who tries to destroy The Programmer's most precious programs, among whom each of us is numbered. We are the most complicated programs in the entire Creation Program. That Program was written and downloaded to give every human being free will when it comes to choosing whether or not we will believe in and obey The Programmer. The virus wants to corrupt our living files and separate our individual programs from He Who lovingly programmed us. The Son may be seen as The Program in human form, the entirety of all creation. The other side has a program that distorts human vanity, making it the equivalent of Godliness. Those fooled by such fraud lose in the race toward The Programmer, a distance which must be closed if we are to have our souls be with Him forever. That salvation is the reason The Creation Program was downloaded. The Holy Wireless Connector joins we, His beloved human programs, with He Who programmed us. We are connected by downloading the pure, clean wavelengths that grow clearer as we become more obedient. The other side has a cacophony of discordance in praise of sin with which it tries to disrupt our communication with The Programmer. Once, in a bookstore, I picked up what appeared to be a beautifully bound book of historical literature. As I read a page at random, the subject matter was not readily discernible, and it took a page or so to make me realize that it was an old pornographic novel that had been translated from the French. From the first sentence, the very words and their pattern were making me think "There's something wrong, here.", but I kept reading, and soon found myself downloading a passage written by a mind overcome by lust. I closed the book, and replaced it on the shelf, remarking to myself that I should have heeded the early warning that "There's something wrong, here". The lesson was that even the seemingly innocent parts of broadcasts encouraging sin are on a twisted wavelength that we should try to be alert enough to avoid.
Monday, January 25, 2010 Praying for the souls of others is a lot like storming a castle. The king, analogous to the soul we're trying to save, is living in a thick-walled, defensive structure. Every justified sin, every mistake in seeing the world, and every error that's been embraced is a stone in its walls. When we pray for a soul, the prayers have a hard time getting through the rows and rows of defenses. When we realize that frontal assaults, though they may be successful, are needlessly difficult, we may wish to consider historical analogies. Castle walls, no matter how thick, became useless when mortars were invented. Attackers were able to launch projectiles straight up, and over the walls, and have them land on targets within. Castle walls were also vulnerable from below. Sappers, usually men with mining experience, would dig tunnels beneath the castle walls, and prop up the tunnel roof with heavy beams. When oil-soaked brush and wood were lit and burned away, a section of the castle wall would collapse, allowing the invaders to get to the king. When we are dealing with a recalcitrant soul, we can lob thoughts over the walls, thoughts he hasn't considered and has no defense against. Catholic Fundamentalism provides such thoughts with the idea that God programs in three dimensions, and that He programmed and downloaded His vast Creation Program in a week to provide free will to each and every human program. Few lost souls have heard of that, and as they try to deal with it, they cannot deny the possibility that it is so. Catholic Fundamentalism is, in that way, like a mortar shell that flies over the usual defenses. At the same time, we must act as sappers, undermining the supposed "truths" that the soul has embraced. We see a perfect example of that with the Global Warming fraud and the dozens that preceded it. As we point out that all these things are complicated lies, and that only lost souls could be so benighted as to have believed them, we undermine the intellectual foundations of Conventional Reality, itself. In trying to stop CBS from running a pro-life ad during the Superbowl, the following statement was made: "Terry O'Neill, the president of the National Organization of Women as (quoted) saying the ad is "...Extraordinarily offensive and demeaning...It is offensive to hold one way out as being a superior way over everybody else's." "It is offensive to hold one way out as being a superior way over everybody else's." The statement was obviously made by a person who believes that the pro-abortion position should be held out as superior to everybody else's position. This stunning admission of hypocrisy is the hallmark of the leftist soul, elevated to a position from which all others can be made "equal". It's hard to understand such a person, let know how to pray for such a soul. But, what else can we do?
Wednesday, January 27, 2010 Dealing Effectively with a Leftist Soul does not usually include arguing with them. They have embraced their positions because they want to believe they're they're better than they are. At its very root, the devil's disciples create Leftist positions to give people a way to "prove" that they are smarter, more sensitive, more enlightened, and just plain "better" than they are. All that's necessary to enter that state of delusion is giving way to one's vanity. Leftists have universally done so: "Yes, I am better. If people would do what I wanted, the world would be a better place. My positions are the same as those who told me that if I were truly intelligent and worthwhile, I would agree with them. Since I agree with them, I must be right." In a nutshell, that simple circularity is what the Leftist belief system boils down to. It's an expression of individual and collective vanity that's supported by vanity instead of fact or logic. To remain happy in Leftism, facts, history, and logic must be avoided at all costs. Any Lefist positions that continue past failures and/or conflict with provable facts are summarily dismissed. "That's not important.", the Leftist will say when presented with incontrovertible evidence that, say, the world is getting colder, or that abortion has caused the painful deaths of fifty million children. We must recognize the "That's not important." is a true indication of how divorced he is from what's actually happening in the world. What is important to recognize is the lack of love made manifest by the underlying Leftist suppositions of superiority. The Leftist Soul is starved for love, and, as the song says, is "looking for love in all the wrong places." So, one of our most difficult tasks is to love them. Pray for them. Send them birthday cards. An occasional present. As someone said, "God has no hands but ours." Let's use them to do something nice for our favorite Leftists. Frequently.
Thursday, January 28, 2010 First, Superiority. Then, Hate. As a soul is overcome by vanity, demons of hatred enter. "The fact that I am a superior being means that others are inferior to me." emerges in the Leftist mind. It's an attractive thought to many. We may consider that the thought is actually alive. It is an evil spiritual being that will spread its tendrils throughout any mind that lets it do so. The demons of hate build houses, sometimes, whole subdivisions of them, in our minds. All are constructed on the foundation of vanity: "You are a superior being to whom others are inferior." As the leftist runs into opposition, vestigial desires of wanting to "help" the benighted and ignorant are replaced with the urge to simply get rid of them. This is done by driving them into poverty, childlessness, gulags, and eventual extinction. At least one global religion has made their superiority-based hatred into a basic tenet of their faith. Their theological conclusion is simple: "The infidels must be wiped out." They readily join with less motivated haters of the Left in order to wipe out all those who do not share their need to feel superior. There is a universal law at work. The more superior a person feels himself to be, the more he hates. Since hatred makes the mind unable to work properly, he becomes increasingly less able to live in a world beyond his immediate control. Once enough demons of hatred take over his thoughts, he can only get rid of his own comparative inadequacies by eliminating all those who are better than himself.
Friday, January 29, 2010 Catholic Fundamentalists spend a lot of time trying to picture how lost souls look, surrounded as they are by demons seeking to keep them away from God. This picture, of a swarm of bees surrounding the queen, perfectly illustrates a lost soul surrounded by individual evil spirits keeping it isolated from its loving Creator: Every time we pray for a soul buried within such a swarm of evil spirits, we can picture one or more them being knocked away. Lots of praying is necessary! If we are able to pray the way Jesus could call upon The Programmer for programming assistance, the entire swarm would go away in a micro-second. Prayers work from the outside in, as when a beekeeper sweeps away the bees to move the queen within the swarm to the hive in which she can do the work she's designed to do. Prayers can also work from the inside out. A prayer that slices through the cloud of bees that hits directly upon the queen may cause her to crawl out of the swarm and fly to a new place. A soul can only be surrounded, immobilized, and destroyed by sins when it stops moving toward He Who programmed it. We may also use an imaginary reverse of this picture to indicate what a saved soul resembles. When the soul is saved, the bees represent a protective cloud of angels around it. Each is clearer than crystal. They allow God's light to reach the soul they protect.
Saturday, January 30, 2010 Continuing the analogy of the swarm of bees surrounding a lost soul, we have to imagine the above picture reduced about a billion or so times. We also have to realize that the evil spirits operate on frequencies and wavelengths, or are frequencies and wavelengths, that we cannot sense, much like a silent dog whistle. Early Christian missionaries in Eire said that "Before St. Patrick came to Ireland, there was a demon for every blade of grass. After St. Patrick, there was an angel for every blade of grass." Without seeing them, they were aware of the tiny sizes of the foul beasts against which they fought in the battlefields of their own minds. When we sense ourselves with an evil thought, it may seem so large that it will take over our minds, hopefully only momentarily. It is like a cloud of programming errors that forms when we let it. At the first sensation of that cloud, we simply say, "Holy Spirit, please send it away.", and it will go. Each time it returns, we pray the same prayer. As that evil spirit finds it cannot dominate our mind, others will come. Each of the seven tribes of demons (pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth (PEGGALS) must be met with the same urgent request for Programming Assistance. If we pray as often as we are tempted, it's easy to be led to think that we are asking God for too much. That thought, of course, is one that the demons try to insert within our thinking so that we are discouraged from making "too many" requests for Programming Assistance. It seems as if the "swarm" of demons is endless. As far as us and our earthly lives are concerned, it is. Temptations will swarm over us, to be fought until the end. So, we ask The Programmer and Holy Wireless Connector to let us remain strong, within The Program, until our battles here are over. The angelic Programming Assistants will provide us with Programming Assistance, especially if we ask the Holy Saints in Heaven to intercede for us as we make every attempt to live our lives according to the Operating Instructions provided each precious, human program. Why must we take part in this life-long fight against programming errors? As St. Columban of blessed memory sums up human's earthly life, "Without a battle, there is no victory. Without a victory, there is no crown."

(AP) - The scientist in Dr. David Dosa was skeptical when he was told that an aloof cat at the nursing home where he worked could predict death. Dosa is a Brown University professor and works at a Rhode Island nursing home that cares for patients with severe dementia. Several years ago, the staff noticed that Oscar would lay beside patients who had just hours to live. No one knows why he does it. But when the cat curls alongside a patient, the staff knows it's time to alert family members." This, and similar stories, suggest that sensitivity to the condition of human spirits exists in animals.
