Dimmed, dumbed, doomed, damned.

Thursday, September 20, 2012 · Posted In: Current Events, Daily Column, History

The process by which the destroyer separates souls from God may be summed up in four words:  dimmed, dumbed, doomed, damned.

The process begins by having people become so dimmed that they cannot see that God is the Creator.  He is, after all, The Loving Programmer, Who wrote and downloaded The Creation Program.  He lovingly wrote each of our individual programs, and had them downloaded within the larger Program.  The devil uses his wholly-owned subsidiaries, the huge structures in government and media, to have us so dimmed we can’t see the reality of the loving God Who created and downloaded us.

As people are dimmed, the devil’s vast educational machine ensures that they learn nothing about God, love, and truth.  Instead, he gets as many of us as dumbed down as possible.  Now, many spend 16 to 24 years in various institutions of “learning” and know less than ancestors who’d only read the Bible.

After having been dimmed and dumbed, it becomes obvious to some that they are doomed.  If the doomed do not believe and pray their way to God, belief, penance, and salvation, they end up damned.

Where are we in the process?  Where are our loved ones and friends?  We want to see where we, and those about whom we care, are.  Are we, or they, dimmed, dumbed, doomed,  damned?  The first three can be fixed with sincere repentance.

The last?  If a person has been dimmed, dumbed, doomed, damned, and thereby sentenced, there is no hope.  If the process has only reached doomed, God can send angels to reach in and save such souls from being damned.

Evil beings want our souls dimmed, dumbed, doomed, damned and spending eternity in agony.  Sincere repentance saves.  Only if it’s in time.  After the sentencing that follows Judgment, the doomed are damned.  Then, there is no hope.

Where there’s life, there is hope.

A grateful heart could have kept Adam and Eve from the fall…

You are SO VERY correct, dimming is most subtle and is the basic erosion leading to the Fall of Mankind. “The little foxes spoil the vine”! It eats quietly away at our love and sours it. It takes away the flavors and our senses dull. It turns down the light of Gratitude, Joy, Rejoicing, Thankfulness and all the foundations of Loving Truth! “I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart! I will enter His courts with Praise!” Sacrificial obedience is simply too weak. Adam and Eve needed to Embrace G-d’s command to “not eat of the fruit”. They needed to Rejoice in it! They needed to investigate G-d’s love for them embodied in that command!

Have you ever met someone so in love that they nearly sicken you with it? A person may feel, “How unreal. How dangerous! Reality will set in, then this person will be broken, destroyed by their unrealistic attitude!”
However! Acting that way toward G-d is NOT “unrealistic”!! It is the Most Real behavior anyone can engage in!

I imagine Eve, filled with Gratitude to G-d for Everything! The beauty of a leaf makes her cry like folks do at a magnificent wedding of the perfect bride and groom. She laughs at the wonder of a bird’s song! She is amazed at the softness of a baby deer! She watches the industry of the ants! She continually Praises G-d, day after day without stopping! Even in her dreams, she is rehearsing the wedding she will experience with her perfect husband, Adam, Blessed by her Perfect G-d! She imagines all the amazing, loving, intelligent, brave, wonderful children they will have. She awakes Full of energy and life, more grateful than when she lay down.
Into this situation walks Lucifer. He Wants That Joy! His heart Aches within him! So, he tries to tell Eve about the fruit and how G-d wants to keep something from her.
She starts to giggle and snorts a little… Lucifer is confused, she cannot stop herself as she looks at his face, she has to laugh out loud! She catches her breath for a moment and asks, “You cannot really mean that?! Look around! See all this beauty! This outpouring of Love and Caring for ME! Even you, my jester, are Magnificent in your beauteous light! Yet you joke with me about G-d keeping something from me!” and she breaks down with soo much laughter she can hardly breathe. She manages to fit some praise in between gasping for air and more guffaws. “Oh G-d! You Are The Most High and Marvelous and more! Thank you for sending this angel to make me Laugh with this INCREDIBLE Joke!
Lucifer slumps away, embarrassed beyond imagining. He will NEVER try something so stupid again!

Interesting. If Eve had done as you describe, the world would certainly be a differnt place.

But religion is the one thing that takes advantage of those people.

    • catholic-admin says: Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:49 pm ·

There are religions that take advantage of people, particularly among the humanist faiths like sustainability and environmentalism. The Catholic religion, which focuses on poverty, obedience, and celibacy, offers slim pickings for the worldly, who mostly criticize and eschew Her and Her teaching.

this supposed “loving creator” must not be the god of the OT,that was a vengeful, vindictive, cruel, sadistic, murderer either directly or by ordering some of its creation to senselessly butcher others of its creation. If you don’t believe me, just read the OT, it is all there. Most supposed christians just ignore that part.

    • catholic-admin says: Monday, November 5, 2012 at 1:58 pm ·

Gerald, no Christian ignores any of God’s Word. We look to it for the prophets, whose predictions validated Christ’s arrival many centuries after they were made. God is able to do anything He wants. It’s not our place to criticize God. If we do, our vanity destroys us. I urge you to stop criticizing God or His actions.
