Jesus spoke very clearly in Matthew 16: 18-20. In that short passage, He announced to Peter and the Apostles that He was founding One Church:

Why would anyone put themselves in a position where they would need to argue about that? How could anyone read that clear, simple, direct passage and not understand that Jesus was founding One Church? How could someone avoid the rational conclusion that Jesus was putting one man, Peter, and his successors, in charge of The Only Church He Founded?
Is it possible for a person to claim to be rational, intelligent, and honest and not see that Jesus was founded One Church?
