Many Christians grow closer to God by saying the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy.
It’s easy to say the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy on The New Rosary:
First, make the Sign of the Cross.
Then, as you push the bead over the first three ridges, say one Our Father, one Hail Mary and an “I believe in God . . .” (the Apostle's Creed) at each ridge.
Each time the bead reaches the spaces between the Decades say one time:
“Eternal Father,
I offer You the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity
of Your dearly beloved Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins
and those of the whole world.”
As you push the bead over each of the ten ridges of each following decade, say each time:
“For the sake of His sorrowful Passion
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.”
Repeat these prayers on The New Rosary at each of the five decades. When you have finished the fifth Decade, repeat three times:
“Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
