Today’s Readings give God’s Guidance to all who are blessed to realize: “God knows more than I do about what is best for me!”
Kings 17:7-16 tells us that God does not want us to always hide from those who persecute us: “the brook near where Elijah was hiding ran dry, because no rain had fallen in the land.”
God sent Elijah to a busy part of the world, near the once-bustling cities of Tyre and Sidon, to live with a widow. She and her son were about to die of starvation in a land whose leaders were so displeasing to God that He kept rain from falling.
In a “Hidden Prophecy” of The Catholic Sacraments of Communion and Annointing, Elijah told her to make him a “little cake and then, you can prepare something for yourself and your son.” Catholics still put God first because “The jar of flour shall not go empty, nor the jug of oil run dry, until the day when the LORD send rain upon the earth.”
The “widow” was a “Hidden Prophecy” of obedient Catholics because “She left and did as Elijah had said.”
Today, Catholics see that Psalm 4:2-8 is another “Hidden Prophecy” that applies to every nation in History! “Men of rank, how long will you be dull of heart? Why do you love what is vain and seek after falsehood?”
We see that every nation has been, and continues to be, destroyed when “men of rank” reject God’s Call to “Love God and our neighbors as ourselves”.
Today’s “Alleluia” tells us that Catholics listen to God instead of evil’s call to pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth! (The new Catholic Word, “peggalas,” warns us of those seven tribes of demons in our minds!) Mt. 5:13-16 is clear: “Let your light shine before others that they may see your good works and glorify your Heavenly Father.”
Catholics heed The Warning of Jesus! If we give in to self-serving stupidity and corruption, we cannot be among those whose eternal fate is described when “Jesus said to His (Catholic!) disciples: ‘You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.'”
Catholics are blessed to see how Jesus describes us! “You are the light of the world. A city set upon a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.”
Catholic priests and religious “give light to all in the (His!) house”! Catholics are the only people on earth blessed to see “God’s light” clearly enough to receive The Body and Blood of Christ in The Miracle of Catholic Communion. Jesus called us to receive That Holy Food 14 times: ‘If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
Rather than living in the darkness of saying “I know more than Jesus about that!”, may we all obey the command of Jesus to let our “light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Heavenly Father.” God’s Catholic “children” all “Glorify our Heavenly Father with our obedience to His Son.
May all be blessed to honor He Who Fulfilled The Messianic Prophecies and live by His Only Church-Creating Word to The First Catholic Pope. We may read His Words with the Proper Punctuation that catholicfundamentalism.com is blessed to provide:
“And, I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “May all be blessed to clearly see: / God knows vastly more than me!”
