Luke 5:1-11 shows how Jesus blesses His followers. “He was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret. He saw two boats there alongside the lake; the fishermen had disembarked and were there washing their nets.”
Everyone is smart enough to ask: “Which boat did Jesus choose?”
Catholics are blessed to answer: “He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies made His choice: ‘He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and He asked him to put out a short distance from the shore.'”
Simon, despite a hard night’s work in which he failed to catch any fish, honored the request from Jesus and took Him out “a short distance from the shore… where He taught the crowds from the boat.”
“After He had finished speaking, He said to Simon: ‘Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.”
All who are blessed with Catholic Understanding of The Holy Trinity know better than anyone on earth: That was not a “request”. It was a Direct Order from God to His First Catholic Pope!
Simon said what every Catholic wants to be blessed to do: “‘Master, we have all worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at Your command, I will lower the nets.'”
After obeying Jesus, “they caught a great number of fish, and their nets were tearing. They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came and filled both boats so full that the boats were in danger of sinking.”
Catholics realize: “Every one of us is blessed to have been saved from ‘deep water’ by God’s fishermen. For 2,000 years, His Catholic priests, religious, and followers have ‘put out into deep water’, caught us in ‘God’s net’, and brought us into “the bark of Peter!”
That “catch” includes Catholic children. They are blessed to be raised by those who are in the same “boat” whose “captain” would be forever chosen by The Living Catholic Prophecy from Him:
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
As we get older, Catholics see how confused young people are by demonic distractors. They rule earthly empires of media, education, entertainment, politics, and sports. They keep as many as they can from The Seven Catholic Sacraments, which are among “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.
Many of us do not recover until we reach our thirties and forties!
Do you know what many of those older Catholics are blessed to do? Have children! That is a Holy Work we all must be blessed to consider and encourage!
