Jeremiah 30: 1-2, 12-15, 18-22 tells us how important it is to leave the confusion of every Babylonian Captivity! “For thus says the LORD: ‘Incurable is your wound, grievous your bruise; there is none to lead your cause, no remedy for your running sore, no healing for you.'”
How do people end up in the confusion of every Babylonian Captivity? “‘Because of your great guilt, your numerous sins, I have done this to you.'”
Catholic thinking lets us see Jeremiah’s Prophecy of The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church spoken into Being 500 years later by The Prophesied Messiah! “Thus says the LORD: ‘See! I will restore the tents of Jacob, his dwellings I will pity; City shall be rebuilt upon hill… You shall be My people, and I will be your God.'”
Today, Psalm 102: 16-29 predicts that Prophecy from Jeremiah: “The Lord will build up Zion again, and appear in all His Glory… nations shall revere Your Name, O Lord… release those doomed to die… peoples gather together and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.”
John 1:49 tells us in Today’s “Alleluia” that Jesus is The Fulfillment of the Messianic prophecies: “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.”
Then, Jesus describes every Catholic’s life for the next 2,000 years! Matthew 14:22-36 tells us that “Jesus made the disciples get into a boat and precede Him to the other side of the sea, while He dismissed the crowds.” That “boat” is the One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church that Jesus Spoke Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope! It is still known as “the bark of Peter”!
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
For the next 2,000 years, Catholics would be blessed to be in the blessed “boat” that every Catholic Pope and Bishop rows to “the other side of the sea”, landing on every person’s “Judgment Day”! When our Faith is tested, Jesus saves those who pray the prayer of Peter: “Lord, save me!”
Every man, woman, and child on earth is one of The Loving Programmer’s beloved “Replicating Free Will Programs”. Every person on earth may be blessed to “Be Catholic!”, get on that “boat“, and arrive safely on the other side.
For 2,000 years, billions of Catholic souls in Heaven have been blessed to be living answers to Peter’s Prayer, “Lord, save me!”
