Today’s Old Testament Reading tells us whose souls will “be forsaken” at God’s Judgment Day. Habakkuk 1:12-2:4 lets us see: “the wicked man devours” and that “the rash man has no integrity”.
We learn that the “rash and wicked” only worship whatever helps them get more! “Therefore, he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his seine, for thanks to them, his portion is generous, and his repast sumptuous.”
In every Age, we deal with the “rash and wicked” who reject this instruction from Moses and He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies: “Love God and love your neighbors as yourself.”
Catholic priests and religious are blessed to obey that Command so respectfully that they take Vows of Poverty, Obedience, and Celibacy. They have less to distract them from loving and serving God and their neighbors.
Psalm 9:8-13 gives us hope that we will be blessed by being forever among: “You forsake not those who seek You, O Lord.” God’s Psalmist promises that we who “seek” Him will not be eternally “forsaken”!
Today’s “Alleluia” gives those who respect the Messianic Prophecies more hope of not being forever “forsaken”. 2 Timothy 1:10 tells us, “Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life to light through The Gospel.”
Catholics properly put that in perspective with Christ’s Call to Catholic Communion. He Who Fulfilled hundreds of Messianic Prophecies repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
Catholics believe in a God with the Loving Power to have His Son Speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being to provide That Holy Food to those blessed to all who most meaningfully respect His Prophets. He Spoke His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:
“And, I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
Today, Matthew 17:14-20 tells us how we may show all who are confused how to get God’s help: “A man came up to Jesus, knelt down before Him, and said, ‘Lord, have pity on my son, who is a lunatic and suffers severely; often he falls into fire, and often into water (Every sort of sin!). I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.'”
Then, Jesus refers back to the Reading from Habakkuk! “O faithless and perverse generation, how long will I be with you? How long will I endure you? Bring the boy here, to Me.”
Then, Jesus lets us see what caused his confusion! “Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and from that hour the boy was cured.”
Catholics read that and are blessed to read that and understand the “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” in That Word of Jesus: “There are demons at work in every confused mind!”
Catholic Teaching lets us realize there are seven tribes of demons: pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.
A problem can only be solved if it is defined. Catholics have invented this New Catholic Word to define every combination of demons at work in every mind on earth with one word, the acronym: “peggalas”.
May all be blessed to erase every living error in our mind and “be as Catholic as we can”.
Another New Catholic Word helps us remember that: “bacawecan.”
