The Apostle to the Gentiles tells Catholics how blessed we are to understand the “treasure” that our immortal soul is! 2 Corinthians 4:7-15 lets us understand The Life-Giving Power of Catholic Communion that we gain by gratefully obeying He Who gave His Life to provide it!
Catholics are blessed to obey Christ’s Call to Catholic Communion that He repeated 12 times in John 6 and 2 more times at The Last Supper: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have live in you.”
“Brothers and sisters, ‘We hold this treasure (our immortal soul!) in earthen vessels, that the surpassing Power may be of God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed;… “
Catholics know what “afflicts”, “perplexes”, “persecutes” and “strikes us down”! The seven tribes of demons, pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth are living “snares of the devil” that work to confuse our thinking, keep us from being Catholic, and devour our souls.
Catholics understand that well enough to ask God to send us help from His Heavenly Hierarchy! “St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of The Heavenly Host, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.”
Then, St. Paul explains that Catholic Communion gives us that blessed protection against the “snares of the devil” because we are “always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.”
Respecting He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies leads the most blessed people on earth to gratefully live by The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope! “And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
May all be blessed to respect He Who fulfilled all the Messianic Prophecies enough to answer God’s call to“Be Catholic!” We are blessed to see that we have been personally chosen and called by God from the billions of people on earth to “have life in us”!
John 15:16 tells us of Christ’s Blessed Promise to Catholics: “‘I chose you from the world, to go and bear fruit that will last.’ says The Lord.”
Every Catholic is a Living Fulfillment of The Prophecy in Today’s Psalm 126, 2-6: “Although they go forth weeping, carrying the seed to be sown, they shall come back rejoicing, carrying their sheaves.”
