In Isaiah 7:12-9, God saw what keeps many from Being As Catholic As We Can! Those of “little faith” worry too much about being destroyed by alliances of enemies. “When word came to the House of David that Aram was encamped in Ephraim, the heart of the King and the heart of the people trembled, as the trees of the forest tremble in the wind.”
In 734 BC, God told Isaiah to tell Ahaz, the frightened king: “Take care you remain tranquil and do not fear; let not your courage fail.” God made it clear: plots against His People would fail: “Thus says the LORD: ‘This shall not stand, it shall not be! Damascus is the capital of Aram, and Rezin is the capital of Ephraim, and Remaliah’s son is the head of Samaria. But, within sixty years and five, Ephraim (The Ten Northern Tribes of Israel) shall be crushed, no longer a nation.'” (Their fate, and our inheritance, is clear in a free book that “Updates Conventional History”: https://catholicfundamentalism.com/book/catholics-make-simple-sense-out-of-history-by-seeing-melchizedek-at-work/
Then, God told Isaiah what His most faithful Roman Catholics have known for 2,000 years: “Unless your faith is firm, you shall not be firm.”
Leaders of every shrinking Catholic Diocese ignore the importance of Mary’s “firm faith” that allowed Her to bring Jesus to earth. Their Bishops do not encourage women to respectfully honor Mary enough to be among every generation’s Most Blessed of Mothers who encourage their sons and daughters to be Catholic priests and religious. Some of those Bishops end up selling their empty Catholic Churches to Muslims!
That explains why many Dioceses and parishes in states and nations ruled by the tax-addicted are dying. They resent and reject Today’s “Alleluia” from Psalm 95:8: “If today you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts.”
Many “hard-hearted” Catholic leaders do not encourage every woman in their Diocese or parish to “hear His Voice” clearly enough to be blessed to follow The Example Of Mary and raise sons and daughters who give their lives to God. May they consider Mt. 11:20-24:
“Jesus began to reproach the towns where most of His mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented. ‘Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. (Jesus then quotes Isaiah 14:13-15) ‘And as for you, Capernaum: ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? (No!) You will go down to the netherworld.’ “
Then, Jesus repeated His Prediction of the fate of those who do not encourage The Love For God That Cures Confusion:
“For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
