God’s Prophets save many souls. Today’s Reading helps! #44.

May all be blessed to guide our thinking by what happened to the lives and souls of those who chose to reject Moses, Abraham, and God's Prophets in Today's Catholic Reading:

In Today’s Catholic Reading, Hosea warns of what happens to those who use human sacrifice to protect and increase their assets:  “The more children are sacrificed on the altars of Baal, the more we can get from their parents!”  That self-centered greed took over nations from Babylon to Carthage.  Hosea 10:1-3, 7-8, 12 is a Prophecy predicting the vanity that causes their destruction;

He describes the Ten Tribes of Israel who left God and His Temple:   “Israel is a luxuriant vine whose fruit matches its growth.  The more abundant his fruit, the more altars he built;  the more productive his land, the more sacred pillars he set up.”  “Sacred pillars” were built to deities like Baal, Asheroth, and Molech to get rid of children who kept caring parents from paying taxes, buying useless things, and working obediently for them.

Hosea was clear about their fate:  “Their heart is false, now they pay for their guilt;  God shall break down their altars and destroy their sacred pillars… The king of Samaria shall disappear, like foam upon the waters.  The high places of Aven shall be destroyed, the sin of Israel;  thorns and thistles shall overgrow their altars.  Then, they shall cry out to the mountains, ‘Cover us!’ and to the hills, ‘Fall upon us!'”

God still gives His hope to those who would: “Sow for yourselves justice, reap the fruit of piety, break up for yourselves a new field, for it is time to seek the LORD, before He comes and rains down justice upon you.”

That Prophecy predicted what would happen to those in Samaria!  They were conquered and deported by the Assyrians in 722 BC.  The “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” is clear:  God destroys every nation that uses “sacred pillars” to destroy the most helpless among them.  The Prophecy is still coming true!  Nations that replaced Pro-Life Catholic Teaching with “sacred pillars” are collapsing as quickly as their birth rates.

Today, Psalm 105:2-7 is a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” reminding us of our mission in life:  “Seek always the face of The Lord… Sing to Him… Glory in His Holy Name… seek to serve Him constantly… Recall the wondrous deeds that He has wrought… “  Catholics are blessed to let ourselves be among the spiritual ‘descendants of Abraham, His servants, sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!'” by “Being As Catholic As We Can!”

Matthew 10: 1-7 is a “Catholic Prophecy” directly from He Who Fulfilled Every Prophecy!  “Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out.”

Every Catholic priest for the past 2,000 years has followed Christ’s instructions:  “Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town.  Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.  As you go, make This Proclamation: “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

For 2,000 years, the world has been blessed when Catholic priests and religious help “the lost sheep of Israel” who are lost in “pagan territory” and struggling in “Samarian towns” and help the most blessed of their confused residents to: “Be Catholic and get out of Samaria while you can!”
