John the Baptist is so important that he has Two Masses in One Day! #30.

John the Baptist let the world hear Christ's call to "Be Catholic!" May all be blessed forever by becoming living echoes of that call.

The Prophet Jeremiah described God’s Plan for His prophets in Jeremiah 1:4-10 in The Vigil Mass: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you;  before you were born, I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.”

That connects directly to Psalm 71:1-6, 15, 17:  “Since my mother’s womb, you have been my strength” is a “Hidden Prophecy” of how Catholics would respect and revere Mary, the Mother of Jesus!

The First Catholic Pope explains in 1 Peter 1:8-12:  “Beloved:  ‘Although you have not seen Jesus Christ, you love Him;  even though you do not see Him now, yet believe in Him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

The reason for John the Baptist is so clear in John 1:7 and Luke 1:17 that it becomes Today’s “Alleluia” “He came to testify to the light, to prepare a people fit for The Lord.”

Luke 1:5-17 ends with John the Baptist’s mission:  “He will go before God in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn their hearts toward their children and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to prepare a people fit for the Lord.”

Has there ever been a better “Hidden Prophecy” of what every Catholic prays to be:  “A people fit for the Lord.”?

The Mass During The Day celebrates John the Baptist by showing us his connection to Isaiah 49:1-6:  “Hear me, O coastlands, listen, O distant people.  The LORD called me from birth, from my mother’s womb he gave me my name.”  The importance of our Replicating Free-Will Program that was“downloaded” in our “mother’s womb” is repeated from last night’s Mass!  The “Hidden Prophecy” of every person blessed to “Be Catholic!” is as clear as it needs to be.

We see that every faithful Catholic is “a sharp-edged sword concealed in the shadow of His arm… a polished arrow hidden in His quiver… a light to the nations that My salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

The reason Catholics are Pro-Life is clear in Psalm 130: 1-3,13-15: “I praise You for I am wonderfully made.”  That is a “Hidden Prophecy” predicting us looking through powerful microscopes and seeing how “wonderfully made” we are.  We know the 30-37 trillion cells that The Loving Programmer has downloaded within us work so well that we Catholics, God’s “Replicating Free-Will Programs”, go through life more aware of the complexity each of us is, “when I was made in secret”.

Paul shows The Catholic Connection with God made by those blessed to “Be Catholic!” He reminds us: “God raised up David as king;  of him God testified, ‘I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after My Own Heart;  he will carry out My every wish.”  From this man’s descendants God, according to His promise, has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus.  John heralded His coming by proclaiming a Baptism of Repentence to all the people of Israel…”

“… all the people of Israel” include “all” who respect The Church-Creating Word Jesus Spoke to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you:  ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

The Gospel from Luke 1:57-66, & 80 ends by telling us that John the Baptist is every Catholic’s “Doorway to Heaven” because of “his manifestation to Israel”.
