Today’s Catholic Reading begins with Amos, 5:14-15 & 21-24. Around 760 BC, The Prophet Amos shares a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” of who may be forever blessed by God:
“Seek good and not evil, that you may live. Then truly will the LORD, the God of hosts, be with you as you claim!”
That is a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” of the Catholic Communion that lets “God be with us” so that we may “live”! Catholics know those who most meaningfully “seek good” will obey The Call to Catholic Communion that He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
Then, more “Hidden Catholic Prophecies” in Psalm 50:7-13 & 16-17 tell us that God divides all people into two groups: “To the upright (those who are “up” and “right”, instead of “down” and “wrong”), I will show the saving power of God.” That “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” predicts “the saving power” of God to provide His Seven Catholic Sacraments of Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, and Healing that are provided by God’s Holy Orders in human form on earth, His Catholic priests, religious, and people.
Psalm 50:16-17 is a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” identifying self-serving beliefs for the past 3,000 years: “Why do you recite My statutes and profess My covenant with your mouth, though you hate discipline and cast My Words behind you?”
Catholics are blessed to see that is a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” that describes those who “cast God’s Words behind them” by proudly announcing: “I know more than Jesus and The Bible about that!” any time they disagree with Him.
Those who “cast God’s Words behind them” in every age are identified in Matthew 8:28-34: “When Jesus came to the territory of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs who were coming from the tombs met Him…
“Some distance away, a herd of many swine was feeding. They cried out, ‘What have You to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time? The demons pleaded with Him, ‘If you drive us out, send us into the herd of swine.’
“And He said to them (at what Catholics realize was God’s “appointed time”!), ‘Go, then!’ They came out and entered the swine and the whole herd rushed down into the sea where they drowned.”
Then, the “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” foretelling those who would choose not to see “The Saving Power of God”! “The swineherds ran away, and when they came to the town, they reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs. Thereupon, the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their district.”
The “Hidden Catholic Prophecy”: Everyone who is more concerned about protecting their assets, symbolized by “herds of swine”, rather than saving their own souls is predicted! Those who refuse to be “Up” and “right” are so confused by earthly vanities that they reject “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus died to leave to His First Catholic Pope:
“And, I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
May no believer be so vain as to ask Jesus, or Any Word of His, to “leave the district” that is our mind.

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “God, may I love you more than what is mine / No matter how many pigs in my herd of swine.”
