Today’s Catholic Reading is Important! It begins with Daniel 7: 9-10, 13-14, when Daniel was taken to Heaven and saw the future,
“One like a Son of Man coming, on the clouds of Heaven. When He reached the Ancient One, and was presented before Him, The One like a Son of Man received dominion, glory, and Kingship: all peoples, nations, and languages serve Him. His Dominion is an everlasting Dominion that shall not be taken away, His Kingship shall not be destroyed.”
The First Catholic Pope connects that Old Testament Truth to all who will listen to his Bible Passage from 2 Peter 1:16-19:
“Beloved: ‘We did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His Majesty.'”
They were “eyewitnesses of His Majesty” in Matthew 17:1-9, when: “Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John, and led them up to a high mountain by themselves. And, He was transfigured before them; His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, conversing with Him.”
Then, we see what the First Pope was moved to do at that awesome time! “Then, Peter said to Jesus in reply, ‘Lord, it is good that we are here. If You wish, I will make three tents here, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.'”
THEN! “While he was still speaking, behold, a bright light cast a shadow over them, then from the cloud came a voice that said, ‘This is My Beloved Son, with Whom I am well pleased; Listen to Him.'”
Catholics are the people on earth blessed to do more than merely “listen” to the One, Specific, Church-Creating Word Spoken by Jesus to His First Catholic Pope in Matthew 16: 18-20! May all be blessed to do more than “listen” to:
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
May we all be blessed to take one more look at the earlier Reading from 2 Peter and see The Bible’s Truth: religious marketing plans that keep their donors from getting The Seven Catholic Sacraments, which are among “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, are “cleverly devised myths”.
The Bible Reading has told us another simple truth in this “Hidden Catholic Prophecy”! Catholics are “Beloved” because we did not let ourselves be led to follow “cleverly devised myths”.
May all who are offended by that be blessed to see it as a Very Good Reason to stop letting demons from the seven unholy tribes of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth (peggalas) keep them from arguing with Any Word of Jesus and: “Be as Catholic as we can!”

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “Hear, obey, / and never stray / from Any Word of Jesus.”
