Psalm 33: 12-13, 18-21 gives Catholics this Guiding Truth: “Blessed the people The Lord has chosen to be His own. Blessed the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen for His own inheritance.”
That originally referred to obedient people in the 12 Tribes of Israel. Now, that “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” includes everyone “The Lord has chosen to be among His own.” His “chosen people” gratefully download The Church-Creating Word Spoken by He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope 2,000 years ago:
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
St. Paul told us to think about ourselves in 1 Corinthians 1:26-31: “Consider your own calling, brothers and sisters. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many of noble birth.”
He explains how blessed we are to “Be Catholic!” “Rather, God chose the foolish of the world (That’s us!) to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world (That’s us!) to shame the strong, and God chose the lowly and despised of the world (That’s us!), those who count for nothing (That’s us!), to reduce to nothing those who are something so that no human could boast before God.”
Catholics are blessed to consider Judgment Day! Suddenly, the souls of hundreds of billions of people who proudly focused on being “wise, strong, and noble” are “reduced to nothing”.
The last happiness they will see is the throng of joyful souls who were blessed to “Be as Catholic as we can!”, praising God in Gratitude. Forever!

God gives Catholics a clearer view of His most beloved. Today’s “Alleluia” from Matthew 5:10 gives us a goal: “Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is The Kingdom of Heaven.”
We see that “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” fulfilled by John the Baptist in Today’s Gospel from Mark 6:17-29. He was “persecuted” by those who proudly chose to be “wise, strong, and noble”.
