Today’s Catholic Bible Reading begins with Jeremiah 31:1-7 and his Messianic Prophecy: “‘At that time,’ says the LORD, ‘I will be the God of all the tribes of Israel, and they shall be My people.'”
Catholics know that Israeli tribes began to move away from Israel a few generations after they followed Moses and Joshua into The Promised Land. To avoid overpopulation, many moved into areas occupied by other tribes for over a thousand years. They multiplied from the Philippines to Ireland.
An example from History: 1 Maccabees 12:20-23 tells us of the famous letter from Sparta’s King Areus (309-265 BC): “It has been found in writing concerning the Spartans and the Jews, that they are kinsmen, and that they are descended from Abraham.” Inventors of Protestant Marketing Plans hated that Historical Connection so much that 500 years ago they removed The Books of the Maccabees from their Bibles for being “Too Catholic”!
Like the Spartans, many such “Descendants of Abraham” around the world remembered enough of their Prophet-Respecting beliefs to “Be Catholic!” when Catholic missionaries helped them replace gods like Odin, Mercury, and hundreds of other deified vanities. After Jesus fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies, His Catholic priests and religious helped billions of people in the world to make the connection between God, His Prophets, and their people. Soon, there were Catholics everywhere!
God made that Prophecy clear to Jeremiah: “Thus says The LORD: ‘The people that escaped the sword have found favor in the desert. As Israel comes forward to be given his rest, the LORD appears to him from afar; with age-old love, I have loved you, so I have kept My mercy toward you.'”
Jeremiah then predicted how Catholics would be blessed for honoring The Messianic Prophecies: “‘The LORD has delivered His people, the remnant of Israel.'”
Those who are not descended from the Twelve Tribes are also saved by “Being Catholic!” Matthew 15:21-28 tells us how many of them were saved. “A Canaanite woman from the area of Tyre and Sidon came and called out, ‘Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is tormented by a demon.’
“But He did not say a word in answer to her.’ until ‘the woman came and did Him homage, saying, ‘Lord, help me.’
“He said in reply, ‘It is not right to take the food of the children (a Prophecy of Catholic Communion!) and throw it to the dogs.'”
Then, the grieving Mother passed “Her Catholic Test” and won her argument with Jesus! “Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters.’
Jesus was impressed! “Then, Jesus said to her in reply, ‘O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.’ And her daughter was healed from that hour.”
Do you see The Catholic Miracle? A Protestant woman won an argument with Jesus!
From that day until this, those who respect God’s Prophets enough to follow He Whom their Prophecies predicted have honored The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
Billions of Catholics have been seven times more blessed than the Caananite woman with All Seven Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, and Healing by obeying the Holy Orders that let the Saving Grace of Jesus bring souls to Heaven.
