In the time around 2,000 BC, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, and Job were all pleasing to God. The Book of Job is a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” that predicted what Catholics put into words today: “The Loving Programmer Wrote and Downloaded The Creation Program.”
Job 9:1-16 is a “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” letting us know that Abraham’s people knew God had made the constellations that Babylon and Egypt’s astronomers could only study:
“He alone stretches out the heavens and treads upon the crests of the sea. He made the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades, and the constellations of the south; He does great things past finding out, marvelous things beyond reckoning.” The phrase: “constellations of the south” indicates that he knew the world could not be flat!
Then, Job describes The Loving Programmer’s invisibility and that He gave us free will: “Should He come near me, I see Him not; should He pass by, I am not aware of Him; ...Should He seize me forcibly, who can say Him nay? Who can say to Him, ‘What are You doing?'”
More “Hidden Catholic Prophecies” foretell how hard it would be for many to “Be Catholic” and would choose to be among those who would be among those who “can say Him nay”.
2,000 years later, He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies “answered Job’s call” and did “hearken to my words” by Speaking One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
Another “Hidden Catholic Prophecy”! After Jesus gave His life to provide us with the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, those who would not connect hundreds of Messianic Prophecies with He Who Fulfilled them were also predicted by Job. Many non-Christian believers would say: “I could not believe that He would hearken to my words.”, even though they were spoken by one of God’s Chosen Prophets!
Today’s “Alleluia”, from Paul in Philippians 3:8-9, sums up the joy of connecting Job to Jesus and us by “Being as Catholic as we can!”:
“I consider all things so much rubbish that I may gain Christ and be found in Him.” The most worldly people hate Catholics for realizing that popular fixations on “things” are “rubbish”!
Every Catholic is blessed to find Prophetic Direction from He Who Fulfilled The Messianic Prophecies in Luke 9:57-62.
“To another person, Jesus said: ‘Follow Me.’, and that person replied, ‘Lord, let me go first and bury My father.’ But Jesus answered him, ‘Let the dead bury their dead. But you, go and proclaim the Kingdom of God.'”
We should all “go and proclaim” that good news from Jesus to every grieving person: Eternal life is given to all blessed to have “the keys to the Kingdom of God”! They include The Seven Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing, and the Holy Orders that Catholics are blessed to obey. Jesus gave His life to leave those “keys” to us in His specific, Church-Creating Decree to His First Catholic Pope:
“And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
His directions continue with what Catholics must do! “And another said, ‘I will follow You, Lord, but first let me say farewell to my family at home.’ Jesus answered him, ‘No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for The Kingdom of God.'”
We see that Jesus is ordering every Catholic “person” to tell our “family” that we are “saying farewell” to beliefs would keep many people from understanding that The Prophesied Messiah could also provide them with “the keys to The Kingdom Heaven” for their immortal souls?
May every Catholic love our neighbors enough to encourage them to “Be as Catholic as we can!”
