The Loving Programmer’s Old Testament Marketing Plan divided people into two groups: Pharisees and Sadducees.
Pharisees think clearly enough to know: “We have immortal souls that will go to God’s Judgment. They will end up in either Heaven or hell, forever.”
Sadducees focus on the world, and want as much of it as they can get. A Catholic pun explains: “They are ‘sad, you see.’”
Today’s Catholic Bible Reading gives hope to the Pharisees who realize! “God is: ‘Fair, I see.’”
Luke 7:36-50 explains: “A certain Pharisee invited Jesus to dine with him,… (He symbolizes all those who want to learn more about He Who Fulfilled hundreds of Messianic Prophecies)… “and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at table.”
A “sinful woman in the city stood behind Him at the table at His feet, weeping, and began to bathe His feet with her tears. Then, she wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with the ointment.”
We see what the Pharisee did! “When the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, ‘If this man were a Prophet, he would know who and what sort of woman this is who is touching Him, that she is a sinner.'”
Catholics read that carefully, and have “two new ideas”! (1.) Jesus “entering the Pharisee’s house” symbolizes that He also “entered” the Pharisee’s mind and knew what he was thinking! (2.) Catholics realize: Jesus also “enters” our mind and knows what we are thinking!
Catholics also have another“new idea” about that woman. Living a life of sin may have led her to have abortions. She may have aborted one or more children fathered by Pharisees “reclining” around that table! Seeing Jesus let her recognize the “Hidden Catholic Prophecy” that blesses every Catholic who confesses our sins and receives Absolution from Christ’s Catholic priests in John 20:23. There, The Bible provided by The Loving Programmer’s “New Testament Marketing Plan” specifically tells true believers what Jesus ordains them to do: “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”
Then, Jesus told every Pharisee how to save their soul! “’Simon, I have something to say to you.’ ‘Tell me, teacher,’ he said. ‘Two people were in debt to a certain creditor; one owed five hundred days’ wages and the other owed fifty. Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both. Which of them will love him more?’
Simon said in reply, ‘The one, I suppose, whose larger debt was forgiven.’ He said to him, ‘You have judged rightly.’”
Every Pharisee who reads that will make one of two decisions:
(1.) “I will love every Word of He Who can read my mind! I will obey The Church-Creating Word that He Who Fulfilled The Messianic Prophecies Spoke to His First Catholic Pope: ‘And I say unto you: ‘Thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
or,
(2.) Make the worldly decision: “Some worldly interests are more important to me than saving my immortal soul. Even though I have solid, Bible proof that Jesus can read my mind, I will not believe everything He says. I will not ‘Be as Catholic as I can!'”
Catholics see and share another “new idea”! Jesus has “read the minds” of every Pharisee at every “table” for the next 2,000 years! Proof of that “Hidden Catholic Prophecy”? They still keep asking each other: “Who is this Who even forgives sins?'”
While Pharisees babble endlessly to avoid respecting their own Prophets’ Predictions of the Promised Son of God, Catholics are blessed to know that He Who Did Fulfill the Messianic Prophecies still says to every Catholic what He said to the absolved woman: “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
The more we have sinned, the more heartfelt our plea for forgiveness should be.
