For many, many years, Catholic Fundamentalism has tried to understand how anyone could rationally say:
“I believe in Jesus and The Bible.”
and then willfully avoid Jesus and The Bible passage with which Jesus brought The Only Church He Founded into being:
“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Catholic Fundamentalism has heard all the “Rock Dialogues” that partial believers use to justify ignoring Jesus’ Decree.
We have heard all the imaginary Catholic “sins” of Indulgences, Inquisitions, Idolatry, and Crusades.
We never hear Protestants complain about the slaughters of a million English, Scottish, and Irish Catholics in order to steal their property. We never hear about Luther starting the Peasant’s War, in which hundreds of thousands of what he called “German pigs” were killed at his instigation.
We never hear Protestants complain about two hundred and fifty years of exterminating countless millions of North America’s Indians and stealing their lands.
We never hear Protestants complaining of their own denominations being too afraid of losing donors to clearly condemn, in writing, both abortion and abortion-inducing birth control, even though it brings death to unborn children in the families of their own congregations and clergy.
How can anyone who says “I believe in Jesus and The Bible.” avoid The Only Church Jesus Founded?
Now we know! The man who may be The Smartest Protestant in The World recently wrote us on Facebook. He brilliantly described Protestantism with greater genius than we had ever seen:
“We are disobedient children who refuse to be Catholics.”
We may now understand, better than ever, our “separated brethren”.
