The Mayor of Boston, Tom Menino, just celebrated the opening of a mosque in his city. The mosque was built on city-owned land that was sold to Moslems far below market value. The mosque’s Imam, Imam al Qaradawi has this position on homosexuality: “In 2003 Qaradawi stated on IslamOnline that the punishment of homosexuality is the death penalty.”
A restaurant chain named “Chick-fil-A” is run by a person publicly said that he believes in traditional marriage. The Mayor of Boston was so offended by this that he has just promised to do everything possible to keep a Chick-fil-A restaurant from opening in his city.
Psychologists describe many mental illnesses with phrases like “split personality”, “passive-aggressive”, and “obsessive-compulsive”.
We need a word or a phrase to describe Boston’s Mayor, Tom Menino. He subsidizes a religious group who promises death to homosexuals while keeping a business out of town because its owner believes in traditional marriage.
And, we need to wonder about Boston’s gay community. Why would they be for Menino’s stand on the restaurant while not protesting bringing homosexual-hating Moslems into town?
We need a name for this! Or, a phrase. Something to describe such blatant, flagrant hypocrisy. Maybe, just call such obvious displays of self-serving contradictory behavior “tommeninoism”.
But, that name isn’t big enough. In the same week, Mayor Rahm Emanuel in Chicago welcomed the homosexual despising Moslem, Louis Farrakhan while condemning the same restaurant. “tommeninorahmemmanuelism” is too long.
So: We need a name for this! “Straining at gnats while swallowing camels.” comes to mind, helping us understand why those who love big government hate He Who described them so perfectly.

Anti-catholicism/reverse terrorism/and ancient stupidity!
With all of us keeping informed ,and sharing information about these people, they can run, but they can’t hide…
In the final analysis, they’re running from truth. Can’t get to Heaven while doing that!
churches are allowed to preach whatever they want, as long as its not too political. the difference between allowing a church to open and hoping a business doesnt is that a church has more rights, and denying a church eqaul rights to preach like many conservative christian leaders, politicians and others do, would be wrong. either churches are allowed to preach hate or they are not. as long as i am able to legally say all conservative christians should die, i believe the first amendment should be protected of churches to say whatever they want. the real problem is, american’s taxes are used more and more by all religious orgs, institutions, schools, groups, churches etc. allowing the religious folks to have special rights and more money and power to lobby and get laws passed they like.
The Holy Spirit directed it to be said of Mary, “Blessed are you among women.” The Holy Spirit did not cause that to be said about anyone else’s mother. Nor did The Holy Spirit direct anyone to say that about any other woman. The Holy Spirit did have it said about Mary. Only Mary. It is not a good idea to quibble with God. It’s better to believe and obey.
For the most wonderful view of Mary, “The City of God” by Sister Mary of Agerde must be considered. While it’s ridiculously oversimplifying to reduce four wonderful volumes into four sentences, it’s instructive to consider:
1. God had to be brought to earth in a perfect vessel.
2. Mary had to be perfect in every way.
3. Mary was planned from the beginning.
4. Lucifer knew that Mary was more beloved by God than he. This enraged him and the other angels. They chose to fall, rather than kneel, before God’s favored created being.
