Many Catholics leave The Only Church Jesus Founded. That’s the biggest mistake there is! Catholic Fundamentalism’s 12 Step Program helps some:
1. Admit the truth: “I did not want to be bothered by rules that keep me from doing what I want.”
2. I was so addicted to my vanity that I decided to disobey Catholic Teaching.
3. I justified my disobedience of Catholic Teaching that provided life to my ancestors who gave life to me. I had to find a denomination that would let me do as I pleased, or reject all Christianity.
4. I realize what my choice has done. I care more about me than about my spouse and family. My children are confused. I have kept many of my own children from being born. I have done what I want. What has it gotten me?
5. I think about the shallowness of my distractions. Have my choices brought me joy? Am I merely justifying sin? Am I hurting myself and others? Am I better off?
6. I cannot escape the nagging thought: “I have a soul. It will go to Judgment. I have willfully disobeyed Jesus and rejected The Only Church He Founded.
7. The price of willful disobedience is clear to me: John: 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God’s wrath.”
8. My decisions have made me miserable. They have hurt those I love. My choices will condemn my soul. I am only “a good Confession” away from Absolution.
9. I will stop thinking “I know more than Jesus.” I will regain access to the only “keys of The Kingdom of Heaven” that He left on earth when He Decreed:
“. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .”
10. I will do what is necessary to receive Forgiveness for my sins from those ordained in living link with Jesus Ordination of His First Catholic Bishops: “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”
11. I will receive The Actual Body and Blood of Christ in Catholic Communion, obeying what Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
12. I will “have life in” me! Forever!
