An important Catholic question for “the breezy time of day”.

~

Question 1:  “Was the first Protestant described as a ‘cunning serpent’ in Genesis 3:1-8?”

Answer:  “‘Now the serpent was the ‘most cunning’ of all the animals that The Lord God had made.'”

~

Question 2:  “Who was the second Protestant?”

Answer:  “‘The Bible is clear!  ‘The serpent asked the woman, ‘Did God really tell you not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?’
The woman answered the serpent:  ‘We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden;  it is only about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden that God said, ‘You shall not eat it or even touch it, lest you die.’

~

Question 3:  “Why did Eve become ‘The Second Protestant’?”

Answer:  “The First Protestant explained to the Second:  ‘But the serpent said to the woman: ‘You certainly will not die!  No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods who know what is good and what is evil.’

~

Question 4: “Does ‘the serpent’ still tell people that doing what they want will ‘let them be like gods who know what is good and what is evil.’?”

Answer:  “‘The serpent’ is that boring!  Protestants still ‘sew fig leaves together and make loincloths for themselves’ in the latest styles.  And, ‘when they hear the sound of The Lord God moving in The Garden at the breezy time of the day, they still hide themselves from The Lord God among the trees of The Garden.’

~

Question 5:  “What is the difference between Catholics and Protestants?”

Answer:  “Catholics respect God so much that we pray to obey The Church-Creating Word of His Son to The First Catholic Pope!  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “At every ‘breezy time of day’ / Catholics know it’s time to pray. /  And, obey!”
