What do demons eat?
Just as “there are many mansions in My Father’s House”, there are seven dwellings in the basement of each brain. Demons of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth live in them. They are the slumlords of despair and death.
What do demons eat? They gorge on the evil energies that each is designed to absorb. They feed on the “negative photons” that we allow to get to them. When we allow the seven wavelengths of seven sinful thoughts and desires to feed them, they grow stronger.
The more evil we allow them to absorb, the more powerful they grow. They send their evil tentacles into our minds, corrupting whatever they can.
When we are presented with something feeds our demons of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, or sloth, we must turn way.
Such temptations to feed the demons within are “the near occasion of sin”. Sin feeds the demons within. They destroy all who allow temptations to keep them from obeying God.
Pride is the deadliest demon. Pride feeds on feelings of superiority.
As the devil felt himself to be better than God, many human beings feel superior to Jesus. “Jesus was wrong about many things.” say the proudest and vainest among us.
The vainest of the vain believe: “I know that Jesus was wrong when He decreed: ‘ Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’ ”
The result? Billions of unborn children have been killed by abortion and abortion-inducing birth control because Catholic teaching “Life must be protected from conception to natural death.” has been eroded by demons of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.
The souls of those who let themselves be overcome by sins are lost. They are forever fed upon by demons gnawing them forever.
What do demons eat? Love, truth, and souls.
