Catholics see where willful disobedience leads.  Matthew 18, 21-35  tells us what happens to the debtor who received forgiveness but would not forgive those who owed him money.   He was sent to “the torturers until every last penny has been repaid.”

“We are not like that!” anti-Catholics insist.  “What do we owe God that we have not given Him?”

“You owed God your obedience, and you did not give Him that.”, Catholics patiently explain.  “You are like the ungrateful man who was forgiven but did not forgive!  Jesus gave you life and forgiveness.  You accepted His forgiveness while you rejected The Only Church He Founded by Decree:  ‘. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .’

“But, we believe in Jesus!”

A Catholic may reply:  “Jesus offered you forgiveness for your sins from the only priests He ordained with the power:  ‘Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.’  You rejected that and urged others to reject His great gifts as well!”

We see the results of those who were grateful for forgiveness but who would not forgive.  Countless millions of primitive peoples were exterminated, and not forgiven, for being in the way of Land-Grabbing Protestants.

Billions of unborn babies are killed by abortion and abortion-inducing birth control chemicals and devices.  They are not forgiven for being inconvenient.

Protestantism never admits its complicity in such crimes.  “We want forgiveness, but we chose not be in The Only Church Jesus Founded!  Her teachings get in our way!  We claim to be forgiven even as we exterminate those who are inconvenient to us.  We have the right to life!  The inconvenient do not.  We cannot forgive them for being inconvenient.”

Those who refuse to seek forgiveness from the only people on earth empowered to provide it are sent to “the torturers until every last penny has been repaid.”
