This Has Been a Big Month for Lies, Especially in Europe

Greece has more than run out of cash. The country is nearly out of assets of any kind. If Disney were to buy the Parthenon, Greece would still be broke. It might be that all Greece’s ruins could be sold, along with hundreds of beautiful islands, for enough money to get them out of debt.

Then, they’d spend that money, and what would they do next? Sell themselves and their children into actual slavery? A ready slave market exists, just a few hundred miles to the South. Greek slaves were highly valued by the Romans. Why not by Arabians? A million Greek slaves @ $10,000.00 would strengthen their finances enough to let them start borrowing, again.

That used to happen. Profligate families would be forced to sell their children to slave traders. That goes on in some areas, where a few dollars worth of drugs will prompt a desperate addict to sell his children to pimps and procurers.

But, what is Europe to do? That section of the World-Wide Bureaucracy can’t go on looting its richer countries to bail the nations whose governments spend endlessly to keep themselves in power.

It is, in fact, the sheerest lunacy for Germany and France to go into bankruptcy simply to postpone Greece’s collapse for a few more months or years. But, The European Union was the World-Wide Bureaucracies’ biggest deal. If they fail there, the world will never trust them to do anything else.

So, the lies continue. Now, more lies are needed about how well Italy and Spain and doing.
