During the last Presidential election, Ron Paul was the only candidate who told the truth about the nation’s financial predicament. All the other candidates either hid from the truth or told outright lies.

Representative Paul was mocked and maligned, and he has enough strange ideas that he shouldn’t be President. But, he did tell the truth. The United States is bankrupt.

Now, Mr. Paul suggests that we simply go bankrupt.

If the nation was a private business, it would have been in bankruptcy. Too many people are taking too much out of the system. Many do nothing with their lives than think of reasons and excuses to continue taking more from their neighbors. They, frankly, don’t care if the country goes broke.

They will continue to take money from their neighbors. We learn from this that moral bankruptcy precedes fiscal bankruptcy.
