The Most Wonderful Graph in the World:

Study the graph.  Check the dates and spacing.  The angles.  The numbers.  Recheck to be sure.  Like so many of us, you will surely conclude that, if the world is to be saved, we have all the proof necessary to show that we have to have more pirates.   Ask yourself what can be done to help.  Write letters to the editor.  Post to your internet friends.  Help people understand.

Pirates used to be so common that they were shot, hung, or otherwise executed on sight.  No one cared.  Now, things are different.  We know how much we need pirates.  If anyone disagrees, just show them the chart.
