How Many Easily Deluded People There Are, at a Glance:

globescan2011.png

Few graphs indicate so clearly how badly Democracy works.  Once, 61% of the people interviewed were credulous enough to believe that Global Warming was a “very serious” problem.  That’s effective brain-washing.  It’s slightly better today, but not much.

Such poor, deluded fools are vulnerable to any, and every, sort of con.  They will vote for those who tell them lies, even if it raises their energy bills.  This large number of easily misled citizens is the result of not believing in any truth, even what their own senses tell them.  The graph proves the truth of Chesterton’s comment: “The man who doesn’t believe in God will believe in anything.”
