God hates idols and idol-worshippers.

Most citizens spend a great deal of time complaining about government shortcomings.  All complaints boil down to one coin with two opposing sides.

One side believes that “The government should let me keep more of my money.”

The other side, often poorer, lazier, and not as bright believes in the other side of the coin:  “The government should give me more.”

What both sides fail to see is that their governments aren’t doing a good job because people have turned their governments into idols.  Then, they turn to their idols for help.  God is disgusted.

Those who worship government freely choose to ignore God and His instructions. When God is displeased by people who would rather fill their closets with clothes than their homes with children, He provides governments who will “Teach ’em a lesson.”  As more people prefer sin to righteousness, the day of reckoning draws nearer.

Few people learn that government corruption and incompetence are God’s scourges.   It’s hard for people to learn that lesson today because the government schools have not taught that God is real or told them that a scourge is a particularly agonizing pain-producing whip.

Government schools teach that the government is wise and beneficial.  The “Great White Father in Washington” has become the Transexual Parent, as queer an idol of government as the many-breasted goddesses of antiquity.

It is worshipped by Babylonians of every age, even as their nations collapse around them.  Their collapses are inevitable.  God hates idols and idol-worshippers.
