Question 1:  “What does St. Paul tell Protestants of every age in 2 Thes 1:1-5 and 11;12?”

Answer:  “He begins by praising the Thessalonians for their obedience to Jesus and His Church.  ‘We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, as is fitting, because your faith flourishes ever more, and the love of every one of you for one another grows ever greater.  Accordingly, we ourselves boast of you in the churches of God.’

Question 2:  “Does that connect to King David’s command in Psalm 96:1-5 of Today’s Catholic Reading?”

Answer:  “St. Paul was doing what King David commanded a thousand years before!  ‘Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.’  Then, St. Paul obeyed another of King David’s commands:  ‘Sing to The Lord a new song.’  The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope is God’s ‘new song’!”

Question 3: “What let the early Catholics in Northern Greece ‘follow’ Jesus so closely?”

Answer:  “His ‘followers’ in Thessaly were blessed to be forever among those allowed into Heaven in John 10:27, ‘My sheep hear My Voice, says The Lord;  I know them and they follow Me.’

Question 4: “What does Jesus say to The Profiteers of Protestantism in Today’s Catholic Reading from Mt. 23:13-22?”

Answer:   “They are heading for eternal ‘woe’ ‘Jesus said to the crowds and to His disciples:  ‘Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.  You lock the Kingdom of heaven before men.  You do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter.’

~

Question 5:  “What else brings ‘woe’ to the ‘hypocrites’ ?”

Answer:  “Jesus tells them they will suffer more ‘woe’‘Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites!  You traverse sea and land to make one convert, and when that happens you make him a child of Gehenna twice as much as yourselves.’

~

Question 6:  “What is a ‘child of Gehenna’?”

Answer:  “‘Ghenna’ is an ancient name for hell!  For 2,000 years, succeeding generations of ‘the children of hell’ fall ‘twice as’ far into hell as their founders.”

~

Question 6:  “Is there more ‘woe’ for them?”

Answer: “Their ‘woe’ is increased by ‘blindness’ that keeps them from seeing God’s Truth!  ‘Woe to you, blind guides, who say ‘If one swears by The Temple, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gold of The Temple, one is obligated.’

Jesus, The Living Altar of God, shows the ‘woe’ of ‘blindness’ by asking the question Willful Protestants hate:  ‘You blind ones, which is greater, the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?

Every Daily Catholic Reading is Reasons to be Catholic.  Sadly, many suffer the ‘woe’ of ‘blindness’ that keeps them from seeing how important it is to live by The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Chuch and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
