Our Daily Catholic Bible Readings help everyone to “Trust in Jesus”!

Our Daily Catholic Bible Readings help everyone to “Trust in Jesus”!

Question 1:  “Why do Catholics love our Daily Bible Readings?”

Answer:  “Every Daily Bible Reading has reasons to ‘Be Catholic!’   These details are intentionally ignored by all who fail to respect Jesus enough to follow His Church-Creating Word to The First Catholic Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Question 2:  “What ‘details’ in Today’s Catholic Bible Reason gives us simple reasons to ‘Be Catholic’?”

Answer:  “Luke 11:42-46 lets us know what Jesus thought of Christ-avoiding clergy when He spoke The Words of This Passage!

‘The Lord said:  ‘Woe to you Pharisees!
You pay tithes of mint and of rue and of every garden herb, but you pay no attention to judgment and to love for God. These you should have done, without overlooking the others.  Woe to you Pharisees!  You love the seat of honor in synagogues and greetings in marketplaces.  Woe to you!  You are like unseen graves over which people unknowingly walk.’

Only Catholics can ‘knowingly walk’ to the simple fact!  Three Times in One Passage, Jesus promises that ‘Woe to you!’ is the eternal fate of anti-Catholic clergy who become ‘unseen graves’ and none of them take Him seriously.”

Question 3: “What other ‘details’ do Catholics learn from Luke?”

Answer:  “We learn that Jesus wants us to compare the value of ‘tithes’ those early Profiteers of Protestantism gave to God!  Believers who did meaningful work would ‘tithe’ cattle and sheep, each worth hundreds or thousands of dollars after years of feeding and care.  Pharisees would proudly bring their ‘tithes’ of little flower pots of ‘mint and rue and  every garden herb’ they grew on windowsills that cost them a few pennies!”

~

Question 5:  “How do Catholics compare anti-Catholic clergy and their ‘sacrifice’ of a tiny flowerpot of ‘garden herbs’ with our Catholic priests and religious?”

Answer:  “We are blessed to be served by Catholic priests and religious.  They become ‘living sacrifices to God’ by taking Holy Vows of Poverty, Celibacy, and Obedience.  They ‘tithe’ their lives!  The difference is clear to all but anti-Catholic clergy!”

~

Question 6:  “Do Catholics find another reason to ‘Be Catholic’ in Today’s Reading?”

Answer:  “We learn that the smartest anti-Catholic Lawyers in Jerusalem could not argue with The Facts that Jesus presented!  Instead, they changed the subject:  ‘Then one of the scholars of the law said to Him in reply, ‘Teacher, by saying this You are insulting us too.'”

~

Question 7:  “How did Jesus respond to self-serving lawyers who defended ‘laws’ decreeing that flowerpots of ‘garden herbs’ were worth as much to God as cows and sheep as ‘tithes’?”

Answer: “‘And He said, (For the Fourth Time in One Passage!) ‘Woe also to you scholars of the law!  You impose on people burdens hard to carry, but you yourselves do not lift one finger to touch them.’”
