In better, more holy times, The Church lovingly exalted Mary. In December of 1854, Pope Pius IX declared that the Immaculate Conception of Mary was an Article of Catholic Faith. Some of the more worldly Catholics were embarrassed by it, but most could understand the theological reasons for coming to that conclusion. Once, Popes were not afraid to exalt Mary.
From 1854 to World War I, self-serving elitists encouraged socialist illusions. The devil was happy. His demons were devouring the world. Pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth were about to become the basis for entire governments.
So, in 1917, Mary made an appearance at Fatima in front of 70,000 people. She made it clear that hateful demons were about to take over Russia and much of the world. She knew that death, pain, war, terror, famine, misery, and tyranny would be unleashed if the Pope and Bishops would refuse to obey Her.
She knew that those who loved evil could be stopped. Her message was simple, clear, and obviously approved by God: if the Pope and Bishops would consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, she promised that better times would come. Surely, priests and bishops, who’d taken vows of obedience, would obey the Mother of God?
She had the power to make and keep Her promise. She showed that power by having the sun literally dance in the sky while 70,000 people watched at Fatima. Even after that, Popes and Bishops were afraid to publicly obey her. They did not openly and obediently consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. They did not release the 3rd Secret.
The Pope and the bishops refused to obey Mary clearly and unequivocally. So, the world is in chaos. Governments are being taken over by Moslem extremists. Christianity is on the defensive. Russians are disappearing. Sin is growing, faith is shrinking.
The devil is happy. Since the Pope’s and Bishops refused to obey, birth control has led to abortion, abortion has been followed by death panels with the power to euthanize, and Christian morals are universally mocked.
Family life would be restored, decency return to governments, schools to education, and love of God and neighbor to daily life, if and only if, the Pope and Bishops would do two things: obey Mary’s command to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, and reveal the 3rd Secret Mary left at Fatima.
Why don’t they do those two things? Enemies inside and outside The Church know that Mary’s power is so great that much evil will be driven from the earth if She wills it. They know She can’t do as much to help Her children when they are rebellious.
So, the forces of evil unite to keep the Pope and Bishops from consecrating Russia and revealing the 3rd Secret.
Things are getting worse. From 1960, when the Pope refused to release the 3rd Secret in the year Mary wanted it released, The Church and world have been in a state of disobedience.
We are all punished by every evil we see growing and flourishing, seemingly unstoppably, around us. There is no stopping the decline unless the Mother of God helps. As long as the Popes and Bishops do not obey Her clear commands, She must let their will, not Hers or God’s, be done on earth.
Souls are being lost. Still, Popes and Bishops do nothing. It makes one pine for the days when, once, Popes were not afraid to exalt Mary.
