Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

We’ve had three Presidential debates.  Most voters knew whom they would support before the debates, but many listened to validate their decisions.

Those on the right focused on excessive spending, which they believe destroys economies and nations.  Why is there excessive spending?  One reason is simple:

A lot of people think manual work is beneath them.  Many use college as a ticket to get out of hard work. They will waste years, getting certified for jobs that need little more than common sense.  The waste of time and talent is staggering.

This “European Disease” has spread to every formerly Christian nation.  Many young people would rather do nothing if they can’t get a job that keeps them from getting their hands dirty.

At the same time, when something breaks, they must rely on people who do get their hands dirty.  Those who actually know how to make things and make things better are becoming rarer and rarer.

But, thanks to the wonders of those who have been working so well and hard, goods and services are being provided more cheaply than every.  So, people who don’t want to do much more than complain are able to be supported.

It’s interesting to watch such people.  As they demand more, they invariably demean those whose hard work provides it to them.  If anyone ever told them “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” they either ignored, or didn’t understand that good advice.
