Question 1:  “What do Catholics understand about God’s Judgment of our soul?”

Answer:  “Mark 7:13 tells us:   ‘Pharisees and scribes from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus and noticed some Disciples did not wash their hands or purify their cups, jugs,  kettles, and beds.’

Question 2:  “How did Jesus respond when they criticized Him and His Apostles?”

Answer:  “He told them what liars they are!  ‘For Moses said ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and ‘whoever curses father or mother shall die.’  and you let rich people spend  their money on you and themselves rather than taking care of helpless parents.

Question 3: “Do Catholics think God will judge people on how much money they have and how they make it?”

Answer:  “Everyone begins life with a ‘net worth’.  Everyone dies with a ‘net worth’.  At Judgement, the lifetime increase in ‘net worth’ of those in ‘religious and public service’ is examined most closely.”
