About which should we worry more:  A person murdered by a drug-addict?  A dozen people, murdered by a terrorist?  Ten thousand people, murdered by an Islamic invasion?  A million, or ten million, murdered by Communists and Facists?  Or, should we worry more about a billion unborn children, killed before birth by willing agents of Babylonian governments?

About which should we worry more:  The threat of global warming?  Rising sea levels?  Increasing populations of feral cats?  Songbirds dying in the Maldives?  The Great Barrier Reef?  Or, should we worry more about a billion unborn children, killed before birth by willing agents of Babylonians governments?

About which should we worry more:  Our chronic tendency to be overweight?  Various blemishes that can be removed?  How up-to-date our clothing is?  The effectiveness of our toothpaste, deodorant, and mouthwash?  Or, should we worry more about a billion unborn children, killed before birth by willing agents of Babylonian governments?

About which should we worry more?  The size, style, cost, and location of our house?  The counter surfaces within it?  The size of the closets?  Or, should we worry more about a billion unborn children, killed before birth by willing agents of Babylonian governments?

To be saved, we desperately need perspective and proper priorities.  Otherwise, we are lost.  The smartest perspective:  First, save our souls.  That requires us to believe in Christ.  To do so most obediently, we must obey Him.  Christ told us “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”  So, we must be Catholics obedient enough to receive Communion.

Then, we have proper perspective.  And, we avoid unending pain.

As we grow in understanding that Christ is God, we see how important it is to obey Him.  As we get closer to Judgment, His power becomes absolutely terrifying to anyone with an ounce of sense.  So, we more frequently remind ourselves:

Christ told us “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”  So, we must be Catholics obedient enough to receive Communion.  And, we must remember, if we put aside our vain schisms, and become obedient Catholics, we can be organized under one banner and stop abortion.  It is a great sin to be in schism and allow the deaths of the unborn to continue.

Is there any sin as great?
