On Christmas, The Program was downloaded in perfect, obedient, human form.

It is fitting that Today’s Reading describes The Son, Second Person of The Trinity.  When we read the following passage, we may think of The Trinity in Catholic Fundamentalism terms.  God, The Father, is The Loving Programmer.  Modern computer users relate more easily to The Holy Spirit as The Holy Wireless Connector.

The Son is a little more complicated.  Catholic Fundamentalism sees Him as The Program.  On Christmas, The Program was downloaded in perfect, obedient, human form.  The Program was born in human form.  He came among us to save the free-will human programs who would believe and obey.

From Hebrews 1: 1-6

Brothers and sisters:
In times past, God (The Loving Programmer) spoke in partial and various ways
to our ancestors through the prophets;
in these last days, he has spoken to us through the Son (The Program, in perfect, obedient, human form),
whom he made heir of all things
and through whom he created the universe,
who is the refulgence of his glory,
the very imprint of his being,
and who sustains all things (all the interwoven programmed entities) by his mighty word.
When he had accomplished purification from sins,
he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
as far superior to the angels (Programing assistants)
as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

The concept of The Son as The Program in human form is hinted at above.  On Christmas, The Program was downloaded in perfect, obedient, human form.

We may understand that more readily if we mentally replace “the Son” with “The Program”, We see that it is through The Program that “He created the universe”.  The Program took human form and remained uncorrupted despite all that every virus could do to corrupt Him.

Now, The Program, in perfect, obedient, human form sits at the right hand of The Loving Programmer.

It is fitting that today, commemorating The Christ Mass celebrating the coming of The Program in human form, obedient Catholics may receive His Body and Blood, “the very imprint of His being”.  We thereby receive the Holy Trinity within us.
