The Old Testament tells us in Joshua 3:7-17 “The LORD said to Joshua, ‘Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so they may know as I was with Moses.” The word “may” acknowledges our free will! Anyone “may” choose to see whom God “exalts”.
“This is how you will know there is a living God in your midst. . . The Ark of The Covenant of The LORD of the whole earth will precede you into The River Jordan. When the souls of the feet of the priests carrying The Ark of The LORD, The LORD of the whole earth, touch the water of the Jordan it will cease to flow.” Then, “All Israel crossed over on dry ground . . until the whole nation had completed the passage.” As Moses did at The Red Sea, God kept His People from being washed away.”
After that miraculous crossing, God sent Prophets to guide His people over the following 1,400 years. They predicted God’s Messiah would be born of a Virgin (Isaiah 7:14) from The House of David (Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17) in the tiny village of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2).
Catholics realize that Mary, who also lived “in our midst”, is “The Ark of The Covenant”. Her love of God allowed Her to be sinless so the Prophesied Son of God could take form in Her Holy Ovum. Over 300 Prophecies were fulfilled.
An often-overlooked vanity that keeps many from seeing The Sanctity of Mary continues to echo among many: “No woman could be that much better than ME!” That vanity keeps those women from seeing: “God chose a woman to be The Ark of The Covenant.”
A variation of that vanity keeps many from obeying The Church-Creating Word of Mary’s Son to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” That vanity takes form in all who believe “I know more than Jesus about that!”
Catholics see what God has done from His “Upgrade of Abraham’s DNA” 4,000 years ago until now. He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies 2,000 years ago had Mary, Jesus, Peter, and The Catholic Church, “The Body of Christ on earth”, replace Moses and Joshua as bearers of God’s Word and Instruction.
May all be blessed to respect God’s Prophets enough to obey Christ’s Call to The Miracle of Catholic Communion that He repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
Those who disobey are washed away by the waters of The Red Sea, River Jordan, and the floods of heretical vanities that keep many from obeying God.

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “Disobey? / Washed away.”
