How Catholics avoid “The Wrath of God” that destroys many.

Catholics begin to learn 4,000 years of History in One Sentence from Today's Reading! Catholics are then blessed to see a few more sentences that tell us to Be Catholic.

Today’s Catholic Reading sums up ancient and modern History in One Sentence in Judges 2:11-19: “The children of Israel offended The LORD by serving the baals.”

More History lessons follow in this sentence:  “Abandoning the LORD, the God of their fathers Who led them out of the land of Egypt, they followed the other gods of the various nations around them, and by their worship of these gods provoked The LORD.”

Then, Catholics learn what God does to those who violate His First Commandment by putting other gods before Him in one more sentence:  “Because they had thus abandoned him and served Baal and the Ashtaroth, the anger of The LORD flared up against Israel, and He delivered them over to plunderers who despoiled them.”

Truth-loving people see that every Country that rejected The Catholic Church in the last 500 years has been“delivered to plunderers who despoiled them.”!

Today’s Psalm 146:34-44 shows us six destroying dangers of (1) mingling with the nations and (2) learning their works, (3) serving idols which became a snare for them, and (4) sacrificing their sons and their daughters to demons {abortion!}, (5) becoming defiled by their works and (6) wanton in their crimes.”  Catholics still cry out, “Remember us, O Lord, as You favor Your people.”

Today’s “Alleluia”, from Matthew 5:3, tells us how Catholics are saved in One Sentence!  “Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics are blessed to see the obvious Truth:  We cannot get into “The Kingdom of Heaven” if we reject the “keys” that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies died to leave to His First Catholic Pope in Two Sentences:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

May all be blessed to learn the few sentences in Today’s History Lesson that tell us to be as Catholic as we can.
