Catholics are blessed with God’s Truth in Three Sentences:

Catholics guide our souls to Heaven with Three Sentences in Today's Readings.

Today’s Reading from Col. 1:9-14 tells us that St. Paul and the world’s first Catholics are asking God to help us!  We read two sentences from The New Testament and one from the Old!

Sentence 1:  “Brothers and sisters:  From the day we (God’s First Catholics in Greece) heard about you (Those blessed to recognize He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies), we do not cease praying for you (Therefore, they are still praying for us!) and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will (From The Bible and Church Teachings.)
through all spiritual wisdom and understanding to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, (living in obedience to His Word.)
so as to be fully (not partially!) pleasing, in every good work bearing fruit  (may all that we do save souls) and growing in the knowledge of God,
strengthened with every power (on Heaven and earth), in accord (not arguing!) with  His glorious might, for all (not some) endurance and patience, with joy (not anger or self-righteousness) giving thanks to the Father, who has made you (we who strive to put God before ourselves) fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in light (Not darkness!).

Sentence 2:  “He (Who fulfilled the Prophecies) delivered us from the power of darkness (“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”) and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son, (His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and Heaven above.)
in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.  (Catholics have “forgiveness of sins” from The Power Jesus specifically gave His Catholic priests in the Sacrament of Confession and Absolution in John 20:23, “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”)

Sentence 3:  May all be blessed to connect those two sentences to Today’s Psalm, 98:2-6, “The Lord has made known His salvation.”
