How does Today’s Reading tell us to: “Be Catholic”?

God's most blessed people pray that all will get "the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven" that Jesus died to leave to His First Catholic Pope.

St. Paul tells Believers to do 7 things in Colossians 2:6-15:  “Brothers and sisters, (1) as you received Christ Jesus the Lord (As Catholics do in Catholic Communion)(2 ) walk in Him, (3) rooted in Him and (4) build upon Him and (5 stay) established in the faith as you were taught, (6) abounding in Thanksgiving.”

Then, St. Paul warns everyone on earth about anti-Catholic Marketing Plans that use some Teachings of Jesus to get donors:  (7) “See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to the tradition of men, according to the elemental powers of the world, and not according to Christ.”

Everyone knows that the first Christian Faith is “according to Christ”. His Catholic Church is the living echo “according” to The Church-Creating Word Spoken from He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Then, St. Paul tells us Catholics are blessed to honor Every Word of Jesus:

“For in Him dwells the whole fullness of the Deity bodily, and you share in this fullness in Him, Who is the head of every principality and power.”  St. Paul can only be describing God’s Power to “share” His Son’s Body and Blood in Catholic Communion.  Only Catholics understand God’s Power to provide That Holy Food at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper by The Miracle of Transubstantiation.  Doing what is necessary to receive Catholic Communion lets us be forever among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”  Catholics strive to never disobey Any Word of Jesus.)

Catholics also realize the importance of Baptism, Confession, and Absolution:  “You were buried with Him in Baptism, in which you were also raised with Him through faith in the power of God, Who raised Him from the dead. And even when you were dead in transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He brought you to life along with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions;”  Our blessed Catholic priests have that Power because they are Ordained as Living Links that connect us to Christ’s Ordination of His First Catholic Bishops!

Today’s “Alleluia” tells us what a blessing it is to be Catholic.  John 15:16:  “I chose you from the world, that you may go and bear fruit that will last, says The Lord.”

May every person on earth be blessed to love and respect Every Word of Jesus as much as Catholics strive to do!

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “May no one ever be enticed / by anything but Words of Christ.”
