2 Samuel 5:1-3 tells us it was “agreed” that David would be crowned King of the Twelve Tribes in 1023 BC. Because of that “agreement”, for the next thousand years, Jewish people cured their “Confusion Headaches” with Psalm 122: 1-5, “Let us go rejoicing to the House of The Lord… built with compact unity… to it the Tribes of the Lord go up… in it are set up Judgment Seats for the House of David.”
Catholics understand “the House of David” spread between India and Ireland for the next thousand years as people from overcrowded Israel migrated to become Tribes of Celts, Danes, Scots, Goths, and dozens of others.
Those thousand years concluded with the Birth of The Prophesied Messiah in Bethlehem. Then, “Jerusalem, built as a city with compact unity,” was replaced by The Vatican in Rome. 268 Catholic Popes have succeeded David, ruling “the House of The Lord to whom we (Catholics!) go rejoicing” for the past 2,000 years.
St. Paul describes God’s Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches” in Colossians 1:12-20. “Let us give thanks to The Father Who has made you fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in light. He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
That joy is expressed in Mark 11:9,10, Today’s Alleluia: “Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the Kingdom of our father David that is to come!”
Luke 23:35-43 tells us how that Kingdom began! “The rulers sneered at Jesus and said, ‘He saved others, let him save himself if He is the chosen one, the Christ of God.’ Even the soldiers jeered at Him. As they approached to offer Him wine, they called out, ‘If you are King of the Jews, save Yourself.’ Above Him was an inscription that read, ‘This is the King of the Jews’.”
Catholics are blessed to cure “Confusion Headaches” by obeying “the King of the Jews” . He Who fulfilled The Prophecies gave His life to speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being on earth with this Church-Creating Word to His first Catholic Pope! “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
One of the thieves crucified next to Jesus was blessed with the intelligence to ask Him for the greatest blessing on earth: “Remember me when You come into Your Kingdom.”
Jesus gave him, and every confessing, repentant Catholic, God’s final cure for “Confusion Headaches”: “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
