Catholic Cures for “Confusion Headaches”

Foreword

The “most beloved Disciple”, St. John, described Creation by introducing us to “The Holy Trinity” when he said in John 1:  “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”

Catholic cures for “Confusion Headaches” begin with looking at God from our “Computer Age” point of view.  We consider God The Father as “The Loving Programmer” because we realize that He wrote “The Creation Program” over 13 trillion light-years ago.

The blessed of computer-using people are able to see The Word of God as the perfection of every detail in The Creation Program.  “The Word of God” is Jesus Christ, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, the Fulfillment of hundreds of Messianic Prophecies.

Stars and galaxies began moving outward from The First Day of Creation, when “The Holy Downloader” said “Let there be light, and there was light.” in the beginning of The Book of Genesis.

Computers and programs help computer-using Catholics understand that One God in Three Persons Is Programmer, Program, and Downloader”.

The “Downloader” made it possible for The Programmer’s Program to take form in each of us and in all we know.

Catholics are blessed to realize:  All that was Programmed and Downloaded came from One Holy Trinity.  We can understand the staggering fact!   One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church was Spoken Into Being by The Program.  In fulfillment of The Prophecies, He took Human Form to give His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” include the Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Catholic Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing, and Holy Orders that are God’s Eternal Blessing to God’s Catholic priests, religious, and people.

In our Computer Age, we explore the “Confusion Headaches” that every computer user may be blessed to cure by being as Catholic as we can.

Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Confusion Headaches

Everyone knows: “The human brain is the most complicated thing in Our Loving Creator’s Creation.”

Catholics use those facts to describe a spiritual struggle that what hurts many minds: “Confusion Headaches”.  They are caused by living in contradiction to the Words of The God in Whose Image we are made. Catholics see the simple truth: “The more Words of God we disobey, the more ‘Confusion Headaches’ we have.”

Many minds are confused by living in this contradiction: “I believe in God, but I do not fully trust The Knowledge of God’s Prophets to predict The Power of He Who Fulfilled their Prophecies to Speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope.”

Catholics cure such “Confusion Headaches” by gratefully obeying:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”  No more “Confusion Headaches” for us!

We do worry about not being as Catholic as we can.  Those “good headaches” are easily cured by the Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders.

The world offers many “fake cures” for “Confusion Headaches”.  New clothes, cars, houses, neighborhoods, travels, purchases, denominations, services, and theories fill human marketplaces. Catholics learn what such marketers do not want us to know:  Many “fake cures” bring more “Confusion Headaches”!

When Catholics see the vanities that give so many people so many Confusion Headaches, we are grateful to be as Catholic as we can.

People who want God’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches” may look at Today’s Catholic Bible Readings!

Romans 6:19-23 tells how Catholics cure “Confusion Headaches” “Brothers and sisters:  I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your nature.  For just as you presented the parts of your bodies as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness for lawlessness, so now present them as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.

Then, St. Paul describes the cause of “Confusion Headaches” and what “fake cures” do to people!  “For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness.  But what profit did you get then from the things of which you are now ashamed?  For the end of those things is death.”

Catholics have put an end to thinking there is joy in contradicting Any Word of God:  “But now that you have been freed from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit that you have leads to sanctification, and its end is eternal life.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Today’s Psalm 1:1-6 gives more cures for “Confusion Headaches”!  The Lectionary’s responsorial refrain tells us:  Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.  The Psalm itself proclaims: “Blessed the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent,  but delights in the law of The LORD and meditates on His law day and night.  He is like a tree planted near running water, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade.  Whatever he does, prospers.”

Catholics compare those who “prosper” with those who let their minds be crippled by “Confusion Headaches”“Not so the wicked, not so;  they are like chaff which the wind drives away.  For The LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked vanishes.”

He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies had St. Paul give us God’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches” in Today’s “Alleluia” from Philippians 3:8-9. “I even consider everything as a loss because of the supreme good of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have accepted the loss of all things and I consider them so much rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him.” leads us to Christ’s cure for “Confusion Headaches” in Today’s Gospel from Luke 12:49-53!

“Jesus said to his disciples:  ‘I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing!  There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is My anguish until it is accomplished!'”

Then, Jesus provides The Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”“Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth?  No, I tell you, but rather division.  From now on, a household of five will be divided,  three against two and two against three;  a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

So, there may be said to be two kinds of people on earth:   Some choose to live in contradiction to the Words of God and keep accumulating more “Confusion Headaches” into their minds.

Others are blessed to put our minds at peace with The Catholic Sacraments provided by He Who Was Predicted by The Prophets; “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Headaches from confusion

“Headaches” come from confusion.  Minds torn between good and evil are filled with “headaches”.

Human spirits in every mind tell souls:“I like my demons of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.”  People are led into sin by the seven deadly sins, those soul-destroying temptations.  A new word, “peggalas”, helps Catholics remember the seven deadly sins that keep many souls from Heaven.

Today’s Catholic Reading from Romans 7:18-25 explains the confusion in every aching head!  “Brothers and sisters:  I know that good does not dwell in my flesh.  The willingness to do good is at hand, but doing the good is not.  For I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want.”

An example:  Low-level sinners sell heroin, cocaine, and other mind-numbing drugs on the street.  Many Catholics believe that some companies have profited from the overprescription of addictive drugs.  Their donations to public officials have contributed to widespread addiction.

How do Catholics deal with the spiritual confusion that sin can cause?

First, we believe in The God Who loved us enough to die for us.  We are helped by He Who Fulfilled hundreds of Prophecies that, among other things, predicted He would be born to a Virgin of The House of David in the tiny village of Bethlehem.

He gave His Catholic priests The Power to cure headaches in John 20:23, “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”  Many who profit from sin may resent the Catholic Church.

Those who are sick of headaches find The Only Church Spoken Into Being by He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

“the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” gave Peter and his successors the authority to teach, govern, and sanctify — which includes administering The Seven Catholic Sacraments.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Being Catholic Cures This Headache: “Sin and Greed Are Keeping My Soul from Heaven!”

The worst headaches are suffered by those going through life while avoiding: “I may have an immortal soul that will be sent to hell for greed and sin!”

Romans 8:1-11 tells us of the only people who are cured from that headache:
”Brothers and sisters: Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed you from the law of sin and death.
For what the law, weakened by the flesh, was powerless to do, this God has done: by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for the sake of sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous decree of the law might be fulfilled in us who live not according to the flesh but according to the spirit.”

God divides all people on earth into two groups:  (1) “For those who live according to the flesh are concerned with the things of the flesh, but (2) those who live according to the spirit are concerned with things of the spirit.”

God cures the headaches of all who obey His Church-Creating Word, “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” (Mt. 16:18-19)

Then, The Bible explains why some people hate The Catholic Church!  “The concern of the flesh is death, but the concern of the spirit is life and peace.  For the concern of the flesh is hostility toward God; it does not submit to the law of God, nor can it; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Many do not want to see how Catholics are specifically blessed!  “But you are not in the flesh; on the contrary, you are in the spirit, if only the Spirit of God dwells in you.”

Computer-using Catholics see “The Spirit of God” as the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son and sanctifies God’s Creation.  He is filled with love and mercy for all people.”  May all be as blessed as Catholics to obey The Call to Catholic Communion that He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies emphasized in John 6 and again at The Last Supper:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”  That is God’s Cure for Headaches!

The Passage tells us three times about the importance of Catholic Communion!  (1)“Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.”

(2)“But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is alive because of righteousness.”

(3) If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit that dwells in you.”

All Catholics are then Prophesied by Psalm 24:1-6  “Lord, this is the people that longs to see Your Face.”!

Today’s Reading also tells Catholics:  We have a duty to share His Catholic Cure for “headaches” with our beloved neighbors!  The eternal Prophecy of Ezekiel 33:11 echoes in the mind of every Catholic:  “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked man, says The Lord, but rather in his conversion, that he may live.”

May God bless all to cure every headache by the Fulfilment of God’s Prophets:  Catholic Communion!

Chapter 4

Chapter 4: “Confusion Headaches” Do Not Have to Be Fatal

God created the human mind with its extraordinary complexity.  Happy people guide their thoughts by the Words of God.

Cain killing Abel shows that “Confusion Headaches” can be fatal to others.  Korah proved they can be fatal to those who have them when God killed him for trying to overthrow God’s chosen leader, Moses, in Numbers 16.

Jesus was sent to fulfill what Catholics have traditionally counted as many Messianic Prophecies, to help cure “Confusion Headaches”.  He Spoke One Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His first Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

After Jesus, the first “Confusion Headaches” kept people from being Catholic when Nicolaitans (Rev. 2:6, 2:15) decided, “We know more than Jesus and His chosen disciples.”

Those early heretics were followed by Arians, Donatists, and others who infected many with “Confusion Headaches” for five hundred years.

For the thousand years between 500 and 1,500 AD, The Catholic Church spread.  Five hundred years ago, Luther, Calvin, and others invented denominations that allowed rulers to steal Church assets that provided hospitals, Churches, monasteries, convents, farms, workshops, and accommodations for the poor.  In England alone, millions of acres were seized and sold cheaply to supporters of Church-attacking rulers.

History shows what happened:  Those groups divided and multiplied into tens of thousands of Protestant denominations.  Some receive support based on differing views on marriage, divorce, artificial birth control, abortion, and the path to Heaven, with fewer requirements regarding celibacy, poverty, and obedience.

Catholics see a pattern in History.  Like the Donatists and Arians, many such groups have faded over time.  History suggests that people, families, and nations may suffer when they disobey The First Commandment and put themselves “before God”.

Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Demons Cause “Headache Confusion” That Keep Many from Thinking Clearly Enough to Let God Cure Them

St. Paul told all who read Romans 8:12-16 what must happen to those who sin:  “Brothers and sisters, we are not debtors to the flesh who must live according to the flesh.  For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the sins of the body, you will live.”

Catholics can cure “Headache Confusion #1” and cure our spirits that have been stung by demons when we make a Good Confession and receive Absolution from among those on earth blessed to have received This Power from He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies:  “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” (John 20:23)

Those who have not yet found the peace of Catholic confession may experience “Headache Confusion #2″:  “I believe in The Bible, but I do not need the forgiveness of Catholic priests, even though they are among those on earth ordained in Living Link with The First Catholic Pope.”

“Confusion Headache #3” may affect those who insist:  “Jesus must forgive me even though I have not accepted His Only Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’”

“Confusion Headache #4”: Choosing one of the tens of thousands of denominations that claim to provide what He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies did not give to the inventor of its Marketing Plan.

“Confusion Headache #5” makes our head hurt more by denying the obvious truth:  “Jesus gave His Life to provide all necessary ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ to those Ordained in Living Link with His First Catholic Pope.”

Many try to cure “Headache Confusion” with drugs, drinking, or focusing on earthly desires that feed the deadly sins of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.  Catholics identify those “Confusion Headaches” with the simple acronym, “peggalas”.

“Confusion Headache #6” may follow: “If there is a God, He must forgive me!”  That is followed by “Headache Confusion #7”:  “There is no God.  There is only me.”

How many stinging “confusions” can cause one “head” to “ache”? Mark 5:9-13 tells us that a “Legion” of unclean spirits came out of one person and entered a herd of about 2,000 pigs that “rushed down a steep bank into the sea, where they were drowned.” Jesus drove all those demons away in the blink of an eye.

Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Many Avoid God’s Way to Have “Confusion Headaches” Cured

In Ephesians 2:19-22, St. Paul told us how anyone may cure “Confusion Headaches” and be forever among:  “Brothers and sisters: You are no longer strangers and wanderers, but you are fellow citizens with The Holy Ones and members of The Household of God, . . .”

The Bible tells us Catholics are “citizens of Heaven” because we do not suffer “Confusion Headaches” that confuse those whose thoughts and beliefs are not “built upon the foundation of The Apostles and Prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the capstone.”

Catholic “brothers and sisters” are among the most blessed of Our Loving Creator’s “children, made in His image,” for whom He brought forth His Creation, over 13.8 billion years ago (as current science indicates).

How does Our Loving Creator let us cure “Confusion Headaches”?  All are “free” to live by The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Jesus promised that every Catholic would be cured of “Confusion Headaches” by The Seven Catholic Sacraments He gave to the billions blessed to “Be Catholic” over the past 2,000 years!  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

God’s Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches” was predicted in Today’s Psalm 19:2-5, “Their message goes out through all the earth.  The Heavens declare the Glory of God and the firmament proclaims His handiwork. . .Through all the earth their voice resounds, and to the end of the world, their message.”

Those blessed with God’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches” live by the Truth in Today’s Alleluia“We praise you, O God, we acclaim You as Lord;  the glorious company of Apostles praise you.”

Is there a better reason to “Be Catholic!”?

~

Chapter 7

Chapter 7: St. Paul Tells Catholics: “God Will Cure YOUR ‘Confusion Headaches’!”

There is a simple Bible proof that it is best to “Be Catholic”. St. Paul, who established Christian communities throughout the Roman world, began many of his teachings with the words Brothers and sisters”. Catholics see that he was writing to the early Christian communities from which the Catholic Church grew.

For 2,000 years, many of the happiest people on earth are those whose “Confusion Headaches” are cured enough to understand that simple fact and answer God’s Call to “Be Catholic”!  With that in mind, we consider Romans 8:25-30:

“Brothers and sisters:  The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings.”

Then, St. Paul tells us:  “And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because He intercedes for the holy ones according to God’s Will.”  Catholics understand St. Paul is speaking to and about us!

He then lets Catholics realize that we are “called” by God!

“We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.  For those He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers .” (In context, “brothers” includes all the faithful, both men and women.)

Catholics are blessed to know that God calls all people to salvation (1 Timothy 2:4), and that those who respond to His grace are “called, justified, and glorified.” We who have answered His call to Be Catholic are grateful to have received the fullness of the means of salvation through His Church and Her Sacraments, while trusting in God’s mercy toward all who sincerely seek Him (cf. CCC 847). “And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified, and those He justified, He also glorified.”

May all be blessed to hear and respond to That Teaching of the greatest Catholic evangelist, and to accept God’s grace to be “called, justified, and glorified.”

“Confusion Headaches” may keep many from asking God: “Please, let me answer Your call to the Only Church Your Son Spoke Into Being so I may go to Your Judgment and be ‘glorified’:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

May all be blessed to cure every “Confusion Headache” that keeps us from obeying The Church Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies and be on the “straight, narrow path” that leads Catholics to be “Glorified”!

~

Chapter 8

Chapter 8: “Confusion Headaches” Get Worse as Separation from God Continues

People “fall into sin” because of “Confusion Headaches”.  Every decision that is based on I did what I wanted!” drives many to seek worldly comforts rather than God’s grace.  St. John gives the “Catholic Cure” that began in Genesis:  “In the beginning was The Word and The Word was God.”

  1. Catholics are blessed to believe The Bible’s Church-Creating Word #1 Spoken by He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”
  2. Catholics see the Power God gave His Catholic priests in The Bible’s Word #2:  John 20:23 tells true believers: “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”
  3. We confess our sins to the busiest people on earth, our Catholic priests.  Suddenly, our minds are free from the sins that cause “Confusion Headaches” in many who have not found the peace of the Sacraments.  We are on the straight and narrow Catholic Path to Heaven.

The result of taking those Three Steps gives Catholics three Results from Catholic Confession:

  1. Our thinking is not confused by the previously unrecognized demons of guilt.
  2. The grace of Confession complements the care of medical professionals by healing the spiritual wounds that weigh on our minds and hearts.
  3. The “Confusion Headaches” that come from the demons of sin haunting our minds are cured by The Power of God to forgive us for following them.

Chapter 9

Chapter 9: St. Paul Tells Us That Those Who Reject the Catholic Church Are Often Kept Away by Fear of “Anguish, Distress, and Persecution”

Catholics believe that St. Paul was called directly by Christ and confirmed as an Apostle by the laying on of hands (Acts 13:2-3).   He asks an important question that helps many to Be Catholic by asking Question #1 in Today’s Reading from Romans 8:31-39“Brothers and sisters:  If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Catholics would answer:  Those who are ‘against us’ want us to reject the specific, Church-Creating Word of Jesus Christ to His First Catholic Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

What lets Catholics stay faithful to the only Church Spoken Into Being by He Who Fulfilled God’s Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope?  St. Paul tells us to follow God’s example:   “He did not spare His own Son, but handed Him over for us all.”

Then St. Paul asks Question 2:  “(If) God did not spare His Own Son, but handed Him over for us all, how will He not also give us everything else along with Him?”

St. Paul follows that with Question #3:  “Who will bring an accusation against God’s chosen ones?”  Catholics would answer:  “We are all ‘accused’ by those who reject ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’!”  Paul’s answer puts things in perspective:  “It is God Who acquits us!”

Then, he asks Question #4:  “Who will condemn us?”

Catholics may reflect that those who condemn us could be influenced by temptations of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.  Some are driven to a great jealousy that leads them to “condemn” those who have “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” that they have rejected!

St. Paul answers those who disrespect God and His Prophets’ Words: “It is Christ Jesus Who died, rather, was raised, Who also is at the right hand of God, Who indeed intercedes for us.”

Then, St. Paul asks Question #5:  “What will separate us from the love of Christ?” and he answers it with Question #6:  “Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword?

St. Paul concludes his love of being Catholic by quoting The Psalmist:  “As it is written:  ‘For your sake we are being slain all the day; we are looked upon as sheep to be slaughtered.’ (Psalm 44:23)  And he continues with the blessing of Being Catholics:  “No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through Him Who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

May all who respect The Bible and St. Paul be blessed to heed his words and Be Catholic!

Chapter 10

Chapter 10: God’s Loving Mercy Cures “Confusion Headaches” That Leave Many Souls Stuck in the Mud

Today, St. Paul’s Letter to The Romans 9:1-5, is specifically addressed to Confessing Catholics:

Brothers and sisters:  I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie: my conscience joins with The Holy Spirit in bearing me witness that I have great sorrow and constant anguish in my heart.”

His “great sorrow and constant anguish” is for all who willfully avoid grateful obedience to He Whom their Prophets predicted:  “They are the children of Israel;  theirs the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises: theirs the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, is The Christ, who is over all, God blessed forever.  Amen.” (As the Catechism teaches, the offering of bread and wine by Melchizedek, priest of God Most High, to Abraham in Genesis 14:18 prefigured the Holy Eucharist; cf. CCC 1333.)

Today, Psalm 147:12-14, 19-20 includes a Prophecy that predicts Catholic Communion for those whose sins are Absolved by Confession: “With the best of wheat He feeds you!“.  That Prophecy blesses us to be among those who recognize God’s Power to provide His Body and Blood to obedient Catholics.  It is so important that Jesus repeated 1 command several times: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”  There is no better way to “get our immortal soul out of the mud”!
For 2,000 years, God’s blessed Catholic priests and religious have helped God “send forth his command to the earth; swiftly runs His Word!  He has proclaimed His Word to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel.”  Catholics realize God’s Merciful Love for us let His often-prophesied Son of a Virgin from The House of David be born in Bethlehem and Speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.   I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Today’s “Alleluia” from John 10:27 Catholics understand as identifying those who follow The Prophesied Messiah to Be Catholic“My sheep hear My voice, says The Lord;  I know them and they follow Me.”

Some who say “I believe in God’s Prophets” may struggle to follow He Whom the Prophets predicted due to worldly concerns, as illustrated by Christ’s simple question:  “‘Who among you, if your son or ox falls into a cistern, would not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?’  They were (and are!) unable to answer His question.”

Catholics believe:  Confession and Absolution “pull us out of every cistern” into which our souls sink and let us receive His Actual Body and Blood by receiving Catholic Communion, especially on “the Sabbath day”.

Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Today’s Reading Has Cured “Confusion Headaches” for 2,000 Years!

Today is “All Saints Day”!  Our Daily Reading tells Catholics how blessed we are to have God’s Saints helping us cure the “Confusion Headaches” that keep us from God.  Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14 explains:

“I, John, saw another angel come up from the East, holding the seal of the living God.  He cried out in a loud voice to the four angels who were given power to damage the land and the sea,  ‘Do not damage the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’

Then, we think about how:  “I (John, the ‘most beloved Disciple’) heard the number of those who had been marked with the seal, one hundred and forty-four thousand marked from every tribe of the children of Israel.

Catholics realize that this symbolic number represents the fullness of God’s faithful people. We pray to be among those “marked” by God’s seal through the sanctifying grace of the Seven Catholic Sacraments — Baptism, Confession, Communion, and Confirmation — striving to keep those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” throughout our lives, blessed to be forever among: “A great multitude which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and language!”

May we all be blessed to be Catholic enough to be among “They stood before the Throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.  They cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation comes from our God, Who is seated on the Throne and from The Lamb!”

What did John see and hear after that?  “All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures.  They prostrated themselves before the Throne, worshiped God, and exclaimed:
“Amen. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

What happened next?  “Then one of the elders spoke up and said to me, ‘Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from?’  I said to him, ‘My lord, you are the one who knows.’
He said to me, ‘These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb.’

Is there a better way to cure “the great distress” of our “Confusion Headaches” than to gratefully obey “Love God and your neighbor as yourself.”, and be as Catholic as we can?

~

Chapter 12

Chapter 12: God’s Creation Is as Easy to Understand as Sanctifying Grace

We cure all “Confusion Headaches” about us and our neighbors by realizing Catholics see two broad categories of people on earth.  Three thousand years ago, Psalm 24:1-6 defined the people loved by God: “Lord, this is the people that longs to see Your face.”

That race is blessed to be those: “Who can ascend the mountain of the LORD? Or, who may stand in his holy place?”  Each is defined:  “One whose hands are sinless, whose heart is clean, who desires not what is vain. . . “He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, a reward from God his Savior. Such is the race that seeks Him, that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.”

The Apostle John tells us more in 1 John 3:1-3 by writing, “Beloved:  See what love The Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God.”  We know the children of different fathers have different natures.  The souls of “the children of God” are spiritually transformed by sanctifying grace.  Catholic teaching holds that all valid Baptisms—including those in other Christian communities—confer sanctifying grace (cf. CCC 1265–1266), and that this grace is nourished further through the Sacraments of Absolution and Communion.

Catholics are “Children of God” because our souls have been transformed by sanctifying grace.  By God’s gift, this grace grows in us as we cooperate with it through the Sacraments and works of charity, drawing us ever closer to Him.

  1. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
  2. “Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
  3. “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
  4. “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
  5. “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
  6. “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
  7. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
  8. “Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
  9. “Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me.

We are blessed with sanctifying grace every time we ask God to let us obey The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope, “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Then, The Children of God will be blessed forever to:  “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.”

Chapter 13

Chapter 13: Removing Books from the Bible Causes Permanent “Confusion Headaches”!

The Book of Wisdom was removed from most Protestant Bibles when reformers adopted a narrower canon based on the Hebrew Bible. Catholics treasure this Book, which among other things supports our understanding of Purgatory.  “Confusion Headaches” come from not knowing about God’s Promise of Purgatorial Purification in Wisdom 3:1-9:

“The souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them.  They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead;  and their passing away was thought an affliction, and their going forth from us, utter destruction.  But they are in peace.”

Catholic souls will be more than at peace”.  We are in peace” because we are blessed to be purified in Purgatory:  “For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality;  chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of Himself.”

God’s reason for the agonies of being “chastised” in Purgatory is explained:  “As gold in the furnace, He proved them, and as sacrificial offerings He took them to Himself.”

What happens to souls after they have “been chastised a little” by being refined like “gold in the furnace”?  Catholics have God’s Book of Wisdom to know!  “In the time of their visitation, they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble;  they shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and The Lord shall be their King, forever.”

Catholics are blessed by knowing we are among:  “Those who trust in Him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with Him in love: because grace and mercy are with His holy ones, and His care is with His elect.”

His elect” are blessed with all 73 Books of the Catholic Bible.  The removal of Wisdom and six other Books, along with portions of Daniel and Esther, deprived many believers of the fullness of God’s revelation and “His care” to respect The Church-Creating Word of The Prophesied Messiah enough to get His “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven!”  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

One of those “keys” is understanding that Catholics may avoid suffering after death by knowing that our Catholic priests are among those on earth given This Power by He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies in John 20:23“Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

Therefore, a good Confession is one Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”.

Chapter 14

Chapter 14: Today’s Reading Cures “Confusion Headaches” That Keep Many from Thinking Clearly

Chapters 10 and 11 of The Book of Romans give reasons for all believers to consider “Being Catholic”.

10:17 “So faith comes from what is preached, and what is preached comes from the Word of Christ.” That is why Catholics respect The Church-Creating “Word of Christ” from He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies!  “Thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

10:18 “Let me put the question: is it possible that Israel did not hear (the Prophets)? Indeed they did; in the words of the Psalm, their voice has gone out through all the earth, and their message to the ends of the world.”  (May all be blessed to learn from Isaiah 53:5 and obey God’s Church-Creating Word“in deed”!)

10:19 asks a second question:  “Is it possible that Israel did not understand? Moses answered this long ago: ‘I will make you jealous of people who are not even a nation; I will make you angry with an irreligious people.’ (Deuteronomy 32:21)”  Catholics see in that Prophecy a reflection of opposition to the Catholic Church.

10:20 “Isaiah (65:1-2) said more clearly: “I have been found by those who did not seek Me, and have revealed Myself to those who did not consult Me.” (Catholics see this as describing those blessed to have found the faith!)

10:21 and referring to every sort of those who deny Him, He goes on with This Specific Prophecy of Christ’s Crucifixion: ‘Each day I stretched out My hand to a disobedient and rebellious people.’ (No one “stretched out his hands” more than Jesus on the cross, He to Whom this prophetic verse from Isaiah 65:2 refers!)

That leads to Today’s Reading from Romans 11:32, which includes “For God delivered all to disobedience that He might have mercy on all.”!

Today’s Psalm describes the suffering of those with “Confusion Headaches” that come from ignoring the Prophecies and Words of He Whom they Predicted:  “But I am afflicted and in pain;  let Your saving help, O God, protect me.”

What does this Prophecy from Psalm 69 mean? “For God will rescue Zion, and rebuild the cities of Judah (Is. 44:26, Ez 36:10).  They will dwell there and possess it;  the descendants of God’s servants will inherit it;  those who love God’s name will dwell in it.” (Ps. 69:35-36, Is. 65:9).

In Catholic typological reading:  At the end, those who are both in “Zion” and are “rescued” will live in “rebuilt cities of Judah.” Catholics are blessed to realize:  Those “rebuilt cities” may be in God’s Kingdom of Heaven, and we are blessed to have the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” which include the Seven Catholic Sacraments!

Chapter 15

Chapter 15: “Confusion Headaches” Are Cured by Reading the Daily Catholic Readings!

Today, our Daily Reading reminds Catholics that many who reject God’s Invitation to accept “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” end up in hell!  Catholics guide our lives by His Invitation to Heaven:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Today, God’s Invitation in Romans 12:5-15 tells each of us we have a special gift that makes us as different from others as our fingerprints.  Cell phones and computers help us find our Catholic Invitation to “minister, teach, exhort, contribute generously, and cheerfully do acts of mercy”.

We are invited to “love sincerely, hate what is evil, hold on to what is good, love each other with mutual affection, stay zealous and fervent, while serving The Lord.” We are invited to “Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, and persevere in prayer, help God’s holy ones, be hospitable, bless our persecutors and not curse them, rejoice with the rejoicing, weep with those who weep, have the same regard for one another, and not to be haughty, but associate with the lowly.”

After we read that Passage, Mt. 11:28 gives another “invitation” to everyone on earth!  “Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest, says The Lord.”

Then, Today’s Psalm “invites us” to do our work and not “busy myself with things too sublime for me”, and “Find my peace in You, O Lord”!

Then, Luke 14:15-24 illustrates the importance of accepting God’s Invitation.  “The Lord invited people to His ‘great dinner’, but many refused His invitation.  One was busy with real estate, another with new equipment, and another was focused on married life.”

The Lord was “enraged”!  He invited “the poor, the crippled, blind, and lame, but there was still room at The Great Dinner”, which obviously symbolized Communion at The Catholic Mass.  So, God invited everyone in the world to “Be Catholic”“Go out to the highways and hedgerows and make people come in that My Home be filled.”  Then, we are told what happens to those who refuse God’s invitation to The Holy Food of Catholic Communion at “God’s Great Dinner” to which Jesus invited us, repeating several times:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Those who knowingly “refuse” God’s Invitation risk refusing to “have life in them”.

Chapter 16

Chapter 16: Today’s Reading Is a “Confusion Headache” for Non-Catholics

Each Daily Catholic Reading is “Today’s Cure for Confusion Headaches”.  Today’s Reading begins by giving good financial advice in Romans 13:8-10avoid debt“Brothers and sisters:  Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another;  for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.”

St. Paul tells us to cure other “Confusion Headaches” caused by sins of “adultery, murder, stealing, coveting, and whatever other commandments there may be.”  He then explains how to avoid all “Confusion Headaches” in one sentence!  “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” and explains: “Love does no evil to the neighbor;  hence, love is the fulfillment of the law.”

Psalm 112:1-9 confirms St. Paul:  “Blessed is the man who fears The LORD, who greatly delights in His commands.  His posterity shall be mighty upon the earth; the upright generation shall be blessed. . .”  King David promises that life goes “Well for the man who is gracious and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice, giving lavishly to the poor and being exalted in glory.”

Then, we see 1 Peter 4:14‘s cure for “Confusion Headaches”“If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for The Spirit of God rests upon you.”  The first Pope gave his life to encourage the faithful!   Catholics have often been “insulted for the name of Christ”!

The world praises those who only obey “some” words of Christ.  They are complimented for rejecting “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.  Sadly, they may suffer “Confusion Headaches” when they claim “I believe in Jesus!” while not accepting His Church-Creating Word to His First Pope!

All who say, “I believe in God and His Prophets, but I ignore their Prophecies about The Living Truth of He Who Fulfilled them!”  suffer from “Confusion Headaches” that are cured by obeying The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus emphasized throughout John 6: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”!

Catholics even cure the “Confusion Headache” in Luke 14:25-33“Great crowds were traveling with Jesus, and He turned and addressed them:  ‘If anyone comes to me without hating his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be My Disciple.'”

That “Confusion Headache” gets worse!  “Whoever does not carry his own cross and follow Me cannot be My Disciple.”

Catholics cure those “Confusion Headaches” by realizing that we must “hate” every earthly attraction that keeps us from loving and obeying God and our neighbors enough to have our immortal souls be forever among those described in John 15:14“You are My friends if you do what I command you.”

Jesus repeats the same cure for “Confusion Headaches” from our First Reading: “Avoid debt!”  by asking:  “Which of you wishing to build a tower does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if there is enough for its completion?”

Jesus gives us another way to compare us to Him“What king marching into battle would not first sit down and decide whether with ten thousand troops he can oppose another with twenty thousand troops?”

We cure all “Confusion Headaches” by seeing the Power of God and His proven “troops” of Saints and Angels.  That leads us to “renounce allegiance to all our possessions” and strive to be His “disciple”.

Chapter 17

Chapter 17: Today’s Reading: Another Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”!

Paul wrote Romans 14:7-12 to the early Catholics in Rome because believers in every other religion persecuted them for being a danger to their incomes. “Brothers and sisters:  None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself.  For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord;  so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”

Catholics believe “we are the Lord’s” because we have obeyed His Call to Catholic Communion that lets us “live” in Him and Him in us by repeating several times, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”  If we “die” to the world, we are His!

He explains:  “For this is why Christ died and came to life, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.”  Then, he asks every Catholic two questions:  (1) “Why then, do you judge your brother or sister?” and (2) “Or, you, why do you look down on your brother or sister?”

Paul tells us not to go to God’s Judgment with feelings of superiority over others!  “For we shall all stand before The Judgment seat of God; for it is written (Romans 14:11; cf. Isaiah 45:23):  ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bend before Me and every tongue shall give praise to God.'”

Paul concludes:  “So then each of us shall give an account of himself to God.”

Jesus let God’s Prophecy in Today’s Psalm 27:1, 4, 13-14 come true!  “I believe that I shall see the good things of the Lord in the land of the living.”  Those “good things” include The Catholic Church and Her Seven Sacraments that let us see “The LORD is my light and my salvation… my life’s refuge.

That Prophesied “refuge” is The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church that He Who Fulfilled that “light-giving” Prophecy Spoke Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”!

The preciousness of every human soul is then explained by Jesus, at the end of Luke 15:1-10“Just as a shepherd is filled with great joy to find one lost sheep, . . there will be rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” In Catholic understanding, “repentance” opens the door to the God-Given “refuge”, The Catholic Church.

Chapter 18: The Better We Obey God, the Fewer “Confusion Headaches” We Have

Romans 15:14-21 applies to many believers who are not Catholic:  “I myself am convinced about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to admonish one another.”

Catholics are blessed to be “filled with the knowledge” that every Word of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies is Truth.  That is why we are blessed to focus on The Church-Creating Word with which He Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being by saying to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

St. Paul assures us:  “But I have written to you rather boldly in some respects to remind you, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in performing the priestly service of the Gospel of God, so that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by The Holy Spirit.”

Each of us, Catholic or not, has a duty to follow Paul’s example:  “In Christ Jesus, then,  I have reason to boast in what pertains to God.  For I will not dare to speak of anything except that Christ has accomplished through me to lead the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of The Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have finished preaching the Gospel of Christ.”

We see what one goal in life should be:  “Thus I aspire to proclaim the Gospel, not where Christ has already been named, so that I do not build on another’s foundation, but as it is written‘Those who have never been told of Him shall see and those who have never heard of Him shall understand.’ (Isaiah 52:15)”

May all be blessed to share what we have found in our obedience to He Who left us “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” and fulfilled these Eight Prophecies of King David in Psalm 98: 1-4!

(Prophecy # 1)“The Lord has revealed to us His saving power.”  We are blessed to (2) “Sing to the LORD a new song, for (3) He has done wondrous deeds;  (4) His right hand has won victory for Him, His holy arm.  (5) The Lord has made His salvation known, in the sight of the nations, (6) He has revealed His justice.  (7) He has remembered His kindness and His faithfulness toward the House of Israel.  (8) All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God.”

Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Even Rich People Can Cure “Confusion Headaches” That Keep Many Souls from God

The happiest people are the most blessed.  Today’s Reading from Romans 16: 3-9,16,22-27 tells of the Blessed People who risked their lives and fortunes to defend St. Paul’s work to save souls.  These names are written in “The Book of Life”: “Prisca, Aquila, Epaenetus, Mary, Andronicus, Julia, Ampliatus, Urbanus, Tertius, Gaius, Erastus, and Quartus”.  Catholics are smart enough to read their names and ask those blessed souls in Heaven: “Please, pray for me and my family!”

Then, St. Paul tells us how we may have our names written among those blessed to defend The Only Church Spoken Into Being by He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies!  “And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

To get those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, we must be among those who “made known to all nations the need to bring about the obedience of faith, to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ be glory forever and ever.  Amen.”

Some are blessed to cure “Confusion Headaches” with Words from Psalm 145: 2-11, “I will praise Your Name forever, Lord.  Every day will I bless you… let your faithful ones (like Prisca and Aquila, and all like them!) bless You.  Let them (and us!) discourse on the glory of Your Kingdom and speak of Your might.”

Today’s “Alleluia” from 2 Cor. 8:9 reminds us:  “Jesus Christ became poor although He was rich, so that by His poverty you might become rich.”  Today’s Gospel, Luke 16:9-15, tells us how to save our souls:    “Jesus said to His disciples, ‘I tell you, make friends for yourselves with dishonest wealth, so that when it fails, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.”

Then, Jesus teaches about a fundamental source of “Confusion Headaches”:  “No servant can serve two masters.  He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and mammon.”

The Bible tells what those who serve the greed that is “mammon” often respond!  “The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all these things and sneered at Him.”

In reply, Jesus gave us His Great Teaching about the eternal fate of “mammon” worshipers!  “And, He said to them: ‘You justify yourselves in the sight of others, but God knows your hearts;  for what is of human esteem is an abomination in the sight of God.'”

Seeking to be “justified in the sight of others” by “seeking human esteem” may make souls into an “abomination” to God.  Their “Confusion Headaches” may never stop.

~

Chapter 20

Chapter 20: Today’s Reading: An Incredible Cure for “Confusion Headaches” About Money!

St. Paul gives us another Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”1 Corinthians 3: 9-11, 16-17 explains what we are!  “Brothers and sisters, you are God’s Building.  According to The Grace of God given to me, like a wise master builder, I laid a foundation and another (every Catholic!) is building upon it.”

Catholics cure our “Confusion Headaches” by “building” our own house in accord with the Teachings provided by The Church Who gives us “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.  Those “keys” include the authority to administer the Seven Catholic Sacraments provided by He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies Spoken Into Being by His Church-Creating Word to Peter, His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics cure our “Confusion Headaches” by following Paul’s advice:  “But each one must be careful how he builds upon it, for no one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely Jesus Christ.”

Each Catholic is a special kind of “building”“Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that The Spirit of God dwells in you?”  Catholics know that refers to Catholic Communion. Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of God Most High, offered bread and wine to Abraham in Genesis 14:18-20. That priestly offering prefigured the Holy Eucharist that Jesus instituted with His Apostles at The Last Supper (cf. CCC 1333, 1544).

“If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy.”  Many reject The Power of God to Ordain His Catholic priests with the Power to Provide The Miracle of Transubstantiation. In that case, we cannot be among those whom Jesus calls to Salvation through the necessary means He provided in several Bible Passages!  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.” and your “building” will not pass inspection!  Ignoring That Word of Jesus causes the worst “Confusion Headache” anyone may suffer!

Those who reject Jesus’s Confirmation of the need to Be Catholic make their “Confusion Headache” worse by ignoring 2 Chronicles 7:16, “I have chosen and consecrated this house, says the Lord, that My Name may be there forever.”

Today, John 2:13-22 tells us about the “Confusion Headaches” that keep many from building their “house” according to His “Catholic Blueprint”!

“Since the Passover of the Jews was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. He found in the temple area those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, as well as the money-changers seated there.
He made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and oxen, and spilled the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables, and to those who sold doves he said, ‘Take these out of here, and stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!‘”

Those who have ignored the teachings of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies may, in Catholic understanding, be building on an uncertain foundation.

~

Chapter 21

Chapter 21: “Obedience” Is the Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”

Today’s Readings predict the fate of those who infect others with the “Confusion Headaches” that may afflict those who willfully disobey Words of God.  The Book of Wisdom, 1:1-7, begins by telling us to “Love justice, you who judge the earth;” and to “think of The Lord in goodness and seek Him in integrity of heart because He is found by those who test Him not, and He manifests Himself to those who do not disbelieve Him.”

The oldest Christian Bible helps Catholics understand what may lead people away from the Catholic faith.  “For perverse counsels separate a man from God, and His power, put to the proof, rebukes the foolhardy;  because into a soul that plots evil, wisdom enters not, and does not dwell in a body under debt of sin.  For the Holy Spirit of discipline flees deceit and withdraws from senseless counsels;  and when injustice occurs, it is rebuked.”

Those who oppose Catholic practice sometimes resist the “Spirit of discipline” that lets countless millions of people find joy in monasteries and convents!  Those who spread divisions in Christianity sometimes wanted people to serve earthly powers instead of God and their families.  All of them suffer from “Confusion Headaches” that keep them from understanding History’s simple fact.

The Book of Wisdom tells us that Catholics are blessed to “believe” every Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies, including His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!

Those who flee the Teachings of God are described:  “For The Holy Spirit of discipline flees deceit and withdraws from senseless counsels; and when injustice occurs it is rebuked.  For wisdom is a kindly spirit, yet she acquits not the blasphemer of his guilty lips;  Because God is the witness of their inmost self and the sure observer of their heart and the listener to their words.”

Catholics believe that willful disobedience to God’s Word carries serious spiritual consequences.  “For the Spirit of the Lord fills the world, is all-embracing, and knows what man says.”.  That is why Catholics obey Psalm 139:1-10, and ask God to “Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.”

Catholics see that our duty is to “Shine like lights in the world, as you hold on to the word of life.”, Phil. 2:15-16.  We see the cause of “Confusion Headaches” in Luke 17:1 by what He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies told us:  “Jesus said to His disciples, ‘things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the one through whom they occur.'”

Jesus warns about those who lead others away from the truth:  “It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.”!

~

Chapter 22

Chapter 22: Proof That Being Catholic Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

Catholics thank God for letting us “keep God’s Word” (John 14:23).  Can we prove that?  Yes!  Catholics “keep” The Book of Wisdom in our Bible.   That blessing helps us cure the “Confusion Headaches” that keep many from understanding that our souls will live forever!  Wisdom 2:23-3:9 makes that clear:  “God formed man to be imperishable; in the image of His own nature He made them.”

Today’s Reading cures countless “Confusion Headaches” by letting us know where they come from:  “But, by the envy of the devil, death entered the world and they who are in his possession experience it.”

Readers of The Catholic Bible are blessed by knowing:  “But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them.”

“Foolish” people think we are dead!  “They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction.  But they are in peace.  (Catholics understand this as a reference to the peace of God’s mercy, where souls are purified and brought to Him.) Catholics see in this passage a profound reflection of Catholic understanding, based on loving God and our neighbor as ourselves.

Catholics know life is not easy!  “For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality;  Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of Himself.  As gold in the furnace, He proved them, and as sacrificial offerings, He took them to Himself.”

The Structure of The Catholic Church and our shining souls on earth and in Heaven is predicted:  “In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble.  They shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord shall be their King forever.  Those who trust in Him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with Him in love:  Because grace and mercy are with His holy ones, and His care is with His elect.”

What more does anyone need to know to Be Catholic and forever among those described in John 14:23“Whoever loves Me will keep My Word and My Father will love Him and we will come to Him.”

The fact that Catholics “keep” The Book of Wisdom in our Bible gives us all the proof we need that Catholics “keep” His Words and that God “will come to us”!

~

Chapter 23

Chapter 23: “Confusion Headaches” Inflict All Who Are Too Confused to “Be Catholic”

Catholics are blessed to be Simple-Minded.  We understand that hundreds of God’s Prophecies were fulfilled by He Who was “born of a Virgin from The House of David (Isaiah 7:14) in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2).”

Catholics are so Simple-Minded that we obey The Church-Creating Decree that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies Spoke to His First Catholic Pope!

Catholics are so Simple-Minded that we follow The Books that many leaders removed from their Bibles.  They include The Book of Wisdom (6:1-11), which provides God’s Promise of Rigorous Judgment to earthly leaders:

“Hear, O kings, and understand;  learn, you magistrates of the earth’s expanse!  Hearken, you who are in power over the multitude and lord it over throngs of peoples!
Because authority was given to you by the Lord and sovereignty by the Most High, He shall probe your works and scrutinize your counsels.”

Catholics are so Simple-Minded that we reflect on what Scripture says about persons in authority who keep others from loving God and their neighbors as themselves!  “Because, though you were ministers of His kingdom, you judged not rightly, and did not keep the law, nor walk according to the will of God.
Terribly and swiftly shall He come against you, because judgment is stern for the exalted– For the lowly may be pardoned out of mercy, but the mighty shall be mightily put to the test…”

Some of “the mighty”, like Luther and English Kings and Queens, removed 7 Books from The Catholic Bible!

Catholics are blessed to follow Psalm 82:3-8, and pray:  “Rise up, O God, bring judgment to the earth.  Defend the lowly and the fatherless, render justice to the afflicted and the destitute, rescue the lowly and the poor…”

Catholics strive to care for the orphaned and vulnerable as Scripture commands, and we are grateful for the guidance of our Catholic priests, whom we call “Father” in celebration of their spiritual fatherhood through lives of Celibacy, Obedience, and Poverty.

Chapter 24

Chapter 24: Today, We See What Causes “Confusion Headaches” That Keep Many Souls from God

Today, Catholics are blessed with This Short Passage from The Book of Wisdom to understand what causes the “Confusion Headaches” that lead many people, families, and nations to be devoured by “vultures”!

Take a deep breath and begin with Wisdom 13:1-9!

First, the confusion of unbelievers is described:  “All men were by nature foolish who were in ignorance of God, … and from studying the works did not discern the artisan; But either fire, or wind, or the swift air, or the circuit of the stars, or the mighty water, or the luminaries of heaven, or the governors of the world, they considered gods.”

Then, we learn how we may help our neighbors cure “Confusion Headaches” that keep many worshiping things in Creation:  “Now if out of joy in their beauty they thought them gods, let them know how far more excellent is the Lord than these; … let them from these things realize how much more powerful is He Who made them.  For from the greatness and beauty of created things, their original author, by analogy is seen.”

“Wisdom” lets us understand that many people seek worldly distractions rather than turning to God. While addiction is a complex condition that requires both medical care and spiritual support, the deeper longing of the human heart is for God alone, as St. Augustine wrote: “Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”

The grave sin of disbelief is addressed:  “But again, not even these are pardonable.  For if they so far succeeded in knowledge that they could speculate about the world, how did they not more quickly find its Lord?”

Psalm 19:2-5 shows where to find God’s cure for “Confusion Headaches”“The Heavens proclaim the glory of God … day to day and night to night imparts knowledge.”

Luke 21:28 tells us to rise above self-serving vanity that causes every “Confusion Headache” on earth:  “Stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand.”

Jesus tells of the fate of those who do not cure “Confusion Headaches” by seeking obedience to God in Luke 17:26-37 “In the days of Noah, the flood came and destroyed them all.  Similarly, as it was in the days of Lot, they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, and building; on the day when Lot left Sodom, fires and brimstone rained from the sky to destroy them all.”

God’s Catholic Disciples were smart enough to ask He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies where this “destruction” would happen in every time and place to follow.  “Jesus said to them, ‘Where the body is, there also the vultures will gather.'”

We see flocks of “vultures gather” in groups that prey upon their neighbors.

Chapter 25

Chapter 25: How “Wisdom” Cures “Confusion Headaches” with “The Trinity Analogy for Computer-Users”

The Book of Wisdom (7:22-8:1) helps Catholics think clearly by telling us what “Wisdom” is!  “In Wisdom is a spirit intelligent; holy, unique, manifold, subtle, agile, clear, unstained, certain,…”  Wisdom is “not baneful, but loving the good, keen, unhampered, beneficent, kindly, firm, secure, tranquil, all-powerful, all-seeing, and pervading all spirits, though they be intelligent, pure and very subtle.”

The brilliant St. Thomas Aquinas connects Catholics to The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by listing the Gifts we receive from The Holy Spirit:  “Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord”.

“For Wisdom is mobile beyond all motion, and she penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity.  For she is an aura of the Might of God and a pure effusion of the glory of the Almighty;  therefore nothing that is sullied enters into her.”

Catholics are blessed to understand The Holy Trinity through these titles:  “The Father is ‘Our Loving Creator.’  The Son is ‘The Eternal Word Made Flesh.’  The Holy Spirit is ‘The Sanctifier’.” While these titles reflect their distinct missions, each Person of the Trinity is fully God and shares in all divine works (cf. CCC 258).

The Holy Spirit connects Catholics to The Father and Son by blessing us to receive The Body and Blood of The Son every time we obey The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus emphasized in John 6 and again at The Last Supper: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Catholics are blessed because The Holy Spirit connects us to The Only Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled many of The Prophets’ Prophecies about “He Who would be born of a Virgin in The House of David (Isaiah 7:14) in the tiny village of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2).”

Anyone can connect our souls to The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by simply looking up “Prophecies about Jesus” on our computers!

What do those blessed with the greatest respect for God and His Prophets do?

We hear and obey The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope!

Chapter 26

Chapter 26: Catholics Cure “Confusion Headaches” by Obeying One Bible Passage

Catholics are blessed to cure “Confusion Headaches” by One Passage in The Book of Wisdom from which many believers have been intentionally deprived:  Wisdom 13:7-9 warns us about the grave sin of disbelief:

“For they search busily among His works, but are distracted by what they see, because the things seen are fair.  But again, not even these (people) are pardonable.  For if they so far succeeded in knowledge that they could speculate about the world, how did they not more quickly find its Lord?”

When Catholics connect the New Testament with the Old, we see that The Word of God says those who do not “find The Lord” by respecting His Prophets are in grave danger.

Some people may not fully accept He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies and Spoke One Church Into Being with His Only Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

May all be blessed to heed what Wisdom teaches:  Catholics believe that rejecting The Bible, Teachings, and Sacraments that guided Catholics for 2,000 years may constitute a grave sin calling for repentance.

An example:  Many claim to believe in God and His Ten Commandments, one of which is: “Thou shalt not kill.”  Catholics see grave confusion in the support of abortion.

But, John 20:23 is understood by Catholics as giving The Power of Pardon to His Catholic priests: “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

Chapter 27

Chapter 27: May All Be Blessed to Cure “Confusion Headaches” with Bible Connections!

Catholics see how The Last Book in the Old Testament connects with the Last Book in The New Testament!

  1. “Why is it important that Protestants have The Book of Malachi in their Bibles?”Answer: “Malachi 3:13-20 tells them about the same ‘Book of Life’ that St. John mentions several times in Revelation 3:5, 13:8, 17:8, 20:12–15, and 21:27.”
  2. “Why is ‘The Book of Life’ important?”Answer: “God opens each person’s ‘Book of Life’ at every Judgment! Malachi tells us all! Every person’s ‘Book of Life’ separates the ‘vain, disobedient, prosperous evildoers’ from those who ‘fear and trust God’.”
  3. “Which group does every far-sighted person want to be in?”Answer: “Malachi tells us! ‘And a record book was written before Him of those who fear The Lord and trust in His name. And they shall be Mine, says The Lord of Hosts, My own special possession, on the day I take action.’
  4. “What ‘action’ does God ‘take’ to those who obey Him?”Answer: “‘And I will have compassion on them, as a man has compassion on his son who serves him.’
  5. “Is the difference between souls clear on earth and at God’s Judgment?”Answer: “Yes! ‘Then you will again see the distinction between the just and the wicked; Between the one who serves God, and the one who does not serve Him.’” (emphasis added)
  6. “Does Malachi warn all Christians about God’s Final Judgment?”Answer: “‘. . the day is coming, blazing like an oven, when all the proud and all evildoers will be stubble, And the day that is coming will set them on fire, leaving them neither root nor branch, says The Lord of Hosts.’
  7. “That should scare anyone who believes in God! What happens to those of us who obey His Word?”Answer: “‘But for you who fear my name, there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays.’
  8. “Protestants do have That Holy Word in their Bibles. Should they seek to obey The Church-Creating Word of Jesus Christ to His First Catholic Pope in Mt. 16:18-19: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’?”Answer: “May all be blessed to have ‘the sun of justice’ have ‘its healing rays’ shine upon our immortal soul. Forever!”

Chapter 28: Catholics Cure the “Confusion Headaches” of Godless History

Family problems come from those who hate families.  Many do not want families to see the History of 1 Maccabees: 1:10-15, 41-45, 54-57, 62-63, which show how God’s families are always attacked:  From the descendants of Alexander the Great’s officers, there sprang “a sinful offshoot”, Antiochus IV Epiphanes.  A man who chose the name that means “God Manifest”, became king in 175 BC and tried to replace the Jewish Faith.

Those who loved themselves more than God quickly joined him, and “seduced many people” by saying:  “Let us go (away from our Faith!) and make an alliance with the Gentiles all around us. Many children of Israel were in favor of his religion; they sacrificed to idols and profaned the Sabbath.”   God’s First Commandment was broken.

He imposed Greek cultural practices on the Jewish people.  “They built a gymnasium in Jerusalem, according to Gentile custom, covered the mark of their circumcision, abandoned The Holy Covenant, allied themselves with Gentiles, and sold themselves to wrongdoing…they sacrificed to idols and profaned the Sabbath… whoever observed the law was condemned to death by royal decree… terrible affliction was upon Israel.”

Today’s Psalm Reading, 119:53,61,134,150, 155, 158 describes God’s Faithful People in every age:  “Give me life, O Lord, and I will do your commands…  Indignations seized me because of the wicked who forsake Your law… though the snares of the wicked are twined about me, Your law I have not forgotten.  Redeem me from the oppression of men that I may keep your precepts… I am attacked by malicious persecutors who are far from your law… I beheld the apostates with loathing, because they kept not Your promise.”

Catholic Readings for the next few days describe the “Confusion Headaches” suffered by Godly people who fight evils in every age.  We are blessed to understand what He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies did when He Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Faith into Being with His Church-Creating Word to The First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

May all, like the blind man in Today’s Reading, Luke 18:35-43, cry out “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!” and let us be blessed to “Have sight.  Your faith has saved you!”

Tomorrow, we see more about how The Maccabees solved the “Confusion Headaches” caused by those who hate God and their neighbors.

Chapter 29

Chapter 29: Tyrants Do Not Want the Books of the Maccabees to Cure “Confusion Headaches!”

Tyrants hate faith, freedom, and families.  They cannot destroy God’s faithful people.  2 Maccabees 6:18-31 tells of a Jewish scribe forced to eat pork.  “Eleazar went forward of his own accord to the instrument of torture”, but those in charge asked him to “just pretend to eat the forbidden food, and we will let you be treated kindly.”

That’s how politics works in every time and place!  That’s why the Books of Maccabees were taken out of the Bibles of people ruled by anti-Catholics who did not want people to be more faithful to God than to them.  “When Eleazar was about to die from being tortured by those who were now hostile toward him because he, unlike them, refused to lie,” he groaned, saying:   “The Lord in His holy knowledge knows full well that, although I could have escaped death, I am not only enduring terrible pain in my body from this scourging, but also suffering it with joy in my soul because of my devotion to Him.”

Throughout history, some Catholics have faced pressure to compromise their faith for worldly gain.  They hate anyone who wants to “leave in death a model of courage and an unforgettable example of virtue, not only for the young but also for the whole nation.”

Today, Psalm 3:2-7 reminds us:  “The Lord upholds me.  ‘Many are my adversaries who rise up against me and say ‘There is no salvation in God.’ … but you, O LORD, are my shield … He answers me from His Holy Mountain … I fear not the crowds of people arrayed against me on every side.'”

Catholics find the same strength in 1 John 4:10, “God loved us and sent His Son as expiation for our sins.  Alleluia!”

Then, we find the joy of being Catholic!  In Luke 19:1-10, Jesus visited a heartless tax collector who was blessed to see God’s Truth in Him!  The sight of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies showed him how he could save the immortal soul he knew he had:  “Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I shall repay it four times over.”

He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies brings His Saving Grace to every remorseful sinner before Him!  “Jesus said to him, ‘Today salvation has come to this house because this man too is a descendant of Abraham.  For The Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost.'”

The world still has many “houses” filled with people who would rather be “lost” than find and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” that Jesus died to leave to His First Catholic Pope!

Chapter 30

Chapter 30: “Confusion Headaches” Keep Many from Using “The Language of Our Ancestors”

Today’s Reading, 2 Maccabees 7:1, 20-31, shows that a God-Loving Mother used “the language of our ancestors” when encouraging her sons to pass God’s Test in every Age:

“Filled with a noble spirit that stirred her womanly heart with manly courage, she exhorted each of them in the language of their ancestors with these words:  ‘I do not know how you came into existence in my womb;  it was not I who gave you the breath of life, nor was it I who set in order the elements of which each of you is composed.
Therefore, since it is The Creator of the universe Who shapes each man’s beginning, as He brings about the origin of everything, He, in His mercy, will give you back both breath and life, because you now disregard yourselves for the sake of His law.”

This blessed Mother’s courage prefigures the faithfulness of Mary, who would say “yes” to God 200 years later. She told her sons:  “I beg you, child, to look at the heavens and the earth and see all that is in them;  then you will know that God did not make them out of existing things;  and in the same way the human race came into existence.  Do not be afraid of this executioner, but be worthy of your brothers and accept death, so that in the time of mercy I may receive you again with them.”

The most faithful Mothers open the doors of Heaven for their beloved children by praying that they will be blessed to be pleasing to God and get the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Mary’s Son gave His Life to leave on earth: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Chapter 31

Chapter 31: Maccabees Is Proof! God Saves Those Who Cure “Confusion Headaches”!

God chose Moses to lead His people out of slavery in Egypt around 1,500 BC.  A thousand years later, they were enslaved by Babylonia.  A few hundred years later, around 167 BC, He chose Mattathias Maccabee to keep His People from again being enslaved by those who ruled parts of Alexander the Great’s conquests between Afghanistan and Greece.  In 1 Maccabees 2:15-29, the God-hating King, Antiochus IV Epiphanes, “sent officers of the king in charge of enforcing the apostasy” of replacing the Jewish Faith, “to the city of Modein to organize the sacrifices.”

As in every age, “Many of Israel joined them.”  When Mattathias and his sons “gathered in a group apart”, they were complimented:  “You are a leader, an honorable and great man in this city… come now, obey the King’s command, as all the Gentiles and men of Judah and those who are left in Jerusalem have done.  Then, you and your sons will be numbered among the King’s Friends.”

Mattathias responded:  “Me, and my sons, and my kin will keep to the covenant of our fathers… God forbid that we should forsake the law and commandments.  We will not obey the words of the King, nor depart from our religion in the slightest degree.”

Then, “a certain Jew came forward in the sight of all to offer a sacrifice on the altar of Modein… Mattathias saw him… his just fury was aroused;  he sprang forward and killed him upon the altar… he killed the messenger of the King and tore down the altar.”!  Then, “He fled to the mountains with his sons, leaving behind in the city all their possessions.”  The War of the Faithful began.  Those who “left their possessions” won!

Mattathias Maccabee was among those predicted by Psalm 50:1-2, 5-6, 14-15, a thousand years earlier! “To the upright I will show the saving power of God.”  Judith, between David and the Maccabees, had also set an example of curing “Confusion Headaches” by obeying God rather than evil Kings when she cut off the head of Holofernes, another leader of those who wanted to destroy the Jewish Faith.

Today, Luke 19:41-44 blesses Catholics to cure our “Confusion Headaches” by seeing what happens to those who disobey God.  He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies made this Prophecy about Jerusalem in Luke 19:41-44“As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, ‘If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes.  For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you;  they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.  They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.’”  About 40 years later, that Prophecy was fulfilled when Titus literally “flattened” Jerusalem in 70 AD.

For 2,000 years, Catholics have been blessed to cure our “Confusion Headaches” with the “peace” of believing Jesus and blessing our souls by obeying The Church-Creating Word Jesus Spoke to each of us at our “visitation”“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

~

Chapter 32

Chapter 32: All “Confusion Headaches” Were Cured by the Maccabees and Mary!

Catholics see how 1 Maccabees 4:36-37, 4:52-59 connects to The Memorial of The Presentation of The Blessed Virgin Mary after The Temple had been Purified:  “Judas and his brothers said, ‘Now that our enemies have been crushed, let us go up to purify the sanctuary and rededicate it … they arose and offered sacrifices according to the law on the new altar… all the people prostrated themselves and adored and praised Heaven who had given them success… There was great joy among the people, now that the disgrace of the Gentiles was removed.”   God’s Temple was restored around 164 BC.

Catholic Tradition tells us that the Maccabees had made it possible for Mary to be presented by her parents, St. Joachim and St. Anne, to the Temple as an offering to God.  Mary, preserved from sin from the moment of her conception by God’s singular grace (cf. CCC 491), grew in holiness in the restored Temple.  The Prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 came true!  “Therefore, the Lord Himself shall give you a sign:  Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”  Catholics understand that the name means:  “God is with us”!

Catholics realize that in Catholic Communion, The Miracle of Transubstantiation transforms bread and wine into The Body and Blood of Christ.  This sacred meal was prefigured nearly 2,000 years before Christ, when Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of God Most High, offered bread and wine to Abraham (Genesis 14:18-20).  For the last 2,000 years, Catholic priests have been ordained according to the order of Melchizedek (cf. Hebrews 7; Psalm 110:4; CCC 1544).

When Catholics receive Communion, we are uniquely blessed to fulfill in a sacramental way Isaiah’s Prophecy: “God is with us.”

He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies proved that by saying in John 10:27, “My sheep hear My voice, says the Lord.  I know them and they follow Me.” Then, Luke 19:45-48 explains the nature of many groups: “It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.”  That is why “The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put Him to death.”

~

Chapter 33

Chapter 33: The Last “Confusion Headache” Is the Worst!

Catholics are blessed to know that 1 Maccabees 6:1-33 helps us save our souls by giving this History Lesson in our Bibles!   We learn the fate of every evil person by seeing the end of the greedy King, Antiochus IV Epiphanes.  He “was traveling the inland provinces, and heard the Persian city of Elymais was filled with riches”, including “gold helmets, breastplates, and weapons left there by Alexander the Great!”

Being the greedy pig that he was, “He tried to capture and pillage the city… but, his plan became known to the people, they rose up in battle against him. . . so he retreated and in great dismay withdrew to return to Babylon.”  Those Persians may have been inspired by the Maccabees in Jerusalem, whom God led to “rise up in battle”, as well!

Then, he heard that the Jewish people, led by the Maccabees, had taken back their Temple!  “He was struck with fear and very much shaken… Sick with grief because his designs had failed, he took to his bed… There he remained many days, overwhelmed with sorrow, for he knew he was going to die.”

Then, Catholics learn the agony of every sinful person before death:  “I cannot sleep… my heart is sinking with anxiety… into what tribulation have I come, and in what floods of sorrow am I now!… Now, I recall the evils I did in Jerusalem when I carried away all the vessels of gold and silver… and gave orders that the inhabitants of Judah be destroyed.  I know that this is why these evils have overtaken me; and now I am dying, in bitter grief, in a foreign land.”

He spent his last hours in the agony of knowing what his eternal judgment would be.  Catholics, however,  We face death with the joy of Today’s Psalm 9:2-4, 6, 16, 19 “I will rejoice in Your salvation, O Lord.”

2 Timothy 1:10 explains why Catholics are blessed to face death with comfort: “Our Savior, Jesus Christ, has destroyed death and brought life to light through the Gospel.  Alleluia!”

Then, in Mt. 16:18-19, Catholics see that we are blessed to be led by Catholic priests and religious empowered to give us The Seven Catholic Sacraments, “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.  Jesus gave those “keys” to His, and our, First Catholic Pope, “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”!

Then! Jesus describes the resurrected life, which Catholic priests and religious anticipate through their Vows of Celibacy, Obedience, and Poverty: “The children of this age marry and remarry; but those who are deemed worthy to attain to the coming age and to the resurrection of the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.  They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the children of God because they are the ones who will rise.”

Read that as often as necessary to Be Catholic.

Chapter 34

Chapter 34: A Last Minute Cure for “Confusion Headaches”

2 Samuel 5:1-3 tells us it was “agreed” that David would be crowned King of the Twelve Tribes in 1003 BC.   Because of that “agreement”, for the next thousand years, Jewish people cured their “Confusion Headaches” with Psalm 122: 1-5, “Let us go rejoicing to the House of The Lord… built with compact unity… to it the Tribes of the Lord go up…  in it are set up Judgment Seats for the House of David.”

Catholics understand that “the House of David” endured through those thousand years, preserved by God so that the Prophecies of The Messiah could be fulfilled.

Those thousand years concluded with the Birth of The Prophesied Messiah in Bethlehem.  Then, “Jerusalem, built as a city with compact unity,” found its continuation in The Catholic Church, led from Rome.  267 Catholic Popes have succeeded St. Peter, ruling “the House of The Lord to whom we (Catholics!) go rejoicing” for the past 2,000 years.

St. Paul describes God’s Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches” in Colossians 1:12-20“Brothers and sisters: Giving thanks to the Father, Who has made you fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in light.  He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

That joy is expressed in Mark 11:9,10, Today’s Alleluia“Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!  Blessed is the Kingdom of our father David that is to come!”

Luke 23:35-43 tells us how that Kingdom began!  “The rulers sneered at Jesus and said, ‘He saved others, let him save himself if He is the chosen one, the Christ of God.’  Even the soldiers jeered at Him.  As they approached to offer Him wine, they called out, ‘If you are King of the Jews, save Yourself.’  Above Him was an inscription that read, ‘This is the King of the Jews’.”

Then, one of the criminals hanging there reviled Jesus, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us.” The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, “Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal.”

Catholics are blessed to cure “Confusion Headaches” by obeying “the King of the Jews” .  He Who fulfilled The Prophecies gave His life to speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being on earth with this Church-Creating Word to His first Catholic Pope!

That repentant thief was blessed with the intelligence to ask Him for the greatest blessing on earth:  “Remember me when You come into Your Kingdom.”

Jesus gave him, and every confessing, repentant Catholic, God’s final cure for “Confusion Headaches”: “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Chapter 35

Chapter 35: Simple Ideas Cure “Confusion Headaches”

Unhappy people avoid The First Commandment, “You shall have no other gods before Me.”  They prefer I believe what I want.”

In our age of worldwide computer and cell phone connections, one place suggests a cure for those “Confusion Headaches” in us, God’s beloved human beings, made in His image.  We begin by thinking of God as Our Loving Creator.  The idea that He brought forth His Creation is explored in Catholic teaching and tradition.

There, we consider The Trinitarian Understanding we are blessed to see in our age:

1.  The Father as Our Loving Creator.

2.  The Son as the Eternal Word of God Made Flesh.

3.  The Holy Spirit as “The Sanctifier”.

While these titles highlight the distinct missions of each Person, Catholic teaching affirms that each Person of the Trinity is fully God, and all three Persons share in every divine work (cf. CCC 258).

Since every person is “made in the image of God”, we see that our incredible brain is the most complicated thing in God’s Creation.  Our extraordinary minds give us some understanding of stars, blades of grass, and all that began to be Spoken Into Being when Our Loving Creator said,  “Let there be light, and there was light”.

Outward movements of stars and galaxies from a beginning point let us know that He said that over 13.8 billion years ago.

It makes sense when we see how God’s Prophets made many Messianic Prophecies concerning the birth of Jesus to a “virgin of The House of David” (Isaiah 7:14) in the tiny “village of Bethlehem” (Micah 5:2).

Those Prophecies came true when He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Reading Catholic Scripture, the writings of the Saints (including The Diary of St. Faustina!), and the Catechism helps us see how much Jesus loves our immortal souls.  Please read and share simple understandings that cure “Confusion Headaches”:

Chapter 36

Chapter 36: Joseph, Daniel, and Jesus Cure the “Confusion Headache” of Human History!

Joseph was so intelligent that the Pharaoh put him in charge of Egypt.  That intelligence appeared in Daniel, the smartest of the Jewish people taken to Babylon.  Both of them interpreted dreams that God gave to the Pharaoh, and later, to King Nebuchadnezzar.

Daniel 2:31-45 was Daniel’s Prophecy predicting the destruction of Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and all empires that followed.  “In the lifetime of those kings the God of Heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed or delivered up to another people;  rather, it shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and put an end to them, and it shall stand forever.”

God’s “Kingdom” began to take form on earth when His Prophesied Son was born to a Virgin of the House of David (Isaiah 7:14) in the obscure village of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2).

After Twelve Apostles, the first Catholic Bishops, had been chosen, Jesus Spoke One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being with His Church and Kingdom-Creating Word:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

For 2,000 years, Catholics have been blessed to be in The Kingdom of God on earth.  His Church still rules “the children of God” amidst the wreckage of all the human kingdoms that have come and gone for the past 4,000 years.

Catholics connect the Prophecies of Joseph and Daniel with what Jesus predicted in Luke 21:5-11.  We nourish our bodies, minds, and souls with The Body and Blood of He Who is “the stone you saw hewn from the mountain without a hand being put to it, which broke into pieces the tile, iron, bronze, silver, and gold.”

Then, He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies gave the world a Prophecy that came true when Titus flattened the Temple about 40 years later, in 70 AD!  Jesus in Luke 21:5-11“While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, “All that you see here – the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”

Catholics see in that Prophecy a warning about souls who spend their lives obsessed about “costly stones and votive offerings” that manifest what they love more than God and their neighbors:  their power to tax the poor.

Chapter 37

Chapter 37: Today! Three Words From God Solve “Confusion Headaches”!

Today’s Reading condenses reality into Three Words that God had written on the wall for the corrupt, self-serving King Belshazzar to read and for The Prophet Daniel to interpret!  These Three Words, while spoken directly to King Belshazzar, carry lessons for every person on earth!

1. ‘Mene’ means that “God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.” Catholics are blessed to understand that God has “numbered” the days of our lives.

2.  “‘Tekel’ means thatYou have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.”   Catholics believe, from The Bible and our Saints, that every soul is “weighed on the scales” with every choice we make, and, for the last time, at God’s Judgment.

3. ‘Peres’ tells each person that “your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”  God has given obedient Catholics these “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.  We are not “found wanting” if we obey The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”  Those “keys” include the authority to administer The Seven Catholic Sacraments.

Proverbs 16:11 is clear:  Every human soul is a living entity that will be “weighed” at Judgment:  “A just balance and scales are the Lord’s;  all the weights in the bag are His work.”

Matthew 16:27 tells us, “For the Son of Man is going to come with His angels in the glory of His Father, and then He will repay each person for what he has done.”  That “repayment” requires that our soul be “weighed”, or measured in some way.

Catholics cure “Confusion Headaches” with images showing the reality that every soul is “weighed”, sometimes by St. Michael, at Judgment:

Souls may also be measured by “brightness”. No matter how they are judged, some souls are allowed into Heaven’s Joy, forever!   Others are not.  May we all be blessed to love God and our neighbors enough to be pleasing to Him at our Judgment.  May all be blessed to be forever among: “You are My friends if you do what I command you.”

~

Chapter 38: ”Confusion Headaches” Come from Power-Seeking Officials, Like Those of King Darius

Catholics learn from History that many governments have been led by those who disregarded God’s First Commandment:  “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Many in governments suffer from “Confusion Headaches” that drive them to destroy those who, like Daniel 6:12-28, put God before their self-serving regulations:  “Did you not decree, O King, that no one is to ask God or man for thirty days, except to you, O King, otherwise he shall be cast into a den of lions?”  Self-serving bureaucrats demanded that Daniel be thrown into “the lion’s den” so they could take over the government.

God saved Daniel.  The next morning, the King was so grateful to see that “God sent His angel and closed the lions’ mouths” that “He ordered the men who had accused Daniel, along with their children and their wives, to be cast into the lions’ den.  Before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.”

Catholics see the symbolism that connects us to God and Daniel!  Those who attack us for obeying His command to “Love God and your neighbors as yourselves” risk the fate symbolized by the lions’ den.  Descendants who share their self-serving worship also face that spiritual warning from “lions”.

The only way for governments to survive is to do what Darius decreed:  “Then King Darius wrote to the nations and peoples of every language, wherever they dwell on the earth: ‘All peace to you!  I decree that throughout my royal domain, the God of Daniel is to be reverenced and feared:  For He is the living God, enduring forever;  His Kingdom shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall be without end.  He is a deliverer and savior, working signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, and He delivered Daniel from the lions’ power.’”

Since that decree, God’s people have followed Daniel 3:68-74 and have given “Glory and eternal praise to Him.”

Catholics are blessed to know this Prophecy of Jesus in Luke 21:20-28 not only predicts the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus, about 40 years later, in 70 AD,  but also refers to every government tyranny on earth!  “Jesus said to His Disciples, ‘When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, know that its desolation is at hand.”  He tells us, “Then, those in Judea must flee to the mountains.”

The symbolism lets us see what happens when tyrants from Babylon, Rome, Macedon, Arabia, and Moscow’s communists rule:  “Let those within the city escape from it, and let those in the countryside not enter the city, for these days are the time of punishment when all the Scriptures are fulfilled.”

Chapter 39

Chapter 39: Are Catholics the Clearest Thinkers on Earth? Don’t Tell Anyone!

Catholics find wisdom to cure “Confusion Headaches” in the Prophecy of Daniel, 7: 2-14!  It begins:  “In a vision, I, Daniel, saw during the night, the four great winds of Heaven stirred up the great sea, from which emerged four immense beasts, each different from the others.”

Thousands of books have been written about Daniel, focusing on Babylonians, Hittites, Greeks, Romans, etc.  Catholic scholars traditionally understand these four “beasts” as symbolizing great kingdoms and empires, while also offering a spiritual lesson about the forces of good and evil in every age:

  1. “The first was like a lion, but with eagle’s wings.  While I watched, the wings were plucked; it was raised from the ground to stand on two feet, like a man, and given a human mind.”  (Traditionally understood as representing Babylon.)
  2. “The second was like a bear;  it was raised up on one side, and among the teeth in its mouth were three tusks.  It was given the order ‘Get up, devour much flesh.'”  (Traditionally understood as representing the Medo-Persian Empire.)
  3. “After this, I looked and saw another beast, like a leopard:  on its back were four wings like those of a bird, and it had four heads.  To this beast, dominion was given.”  (Traditionally understood as representing the Greek Empire under Alexander.)
  4. “After this, in the visions of the night I saw the fourth beast, different from all the others, terrifying, horrible, and of extraordinary strength;  it had great iron teeth with which it devoured and crushed, and what was left it trampled with its feet.  I was considering the ten horns it had, when suddenly another, a little horn, sprang out of their midst, and three of the previous horns were torn away to make room for it.  This horn had eyes like a man, and a mouth that spoke arrogantly.”  (Some people are controlled by an evil arrogance that drives them to hate God and “arrogantly” ravage their neighbors.  Those who hate and destroy families are described!)

Beyond the historical kingdoms, Catholics also see a spiritual truth: those “beasts” remind us that all of us will be judged!

“As I watched, thrones were set up, and the Ancient One took His throne.  His clothing was snow bright, and the hair on His head as white as wool;  His throne was flames of fire, with wheels of burning fire.  A surging stream of fire flowed out from where He sat.  Thousands upon thousands were ministering to Him, and myriads upon myriads attended to Him.”

Then, the purpose of every human life was revealed to Daniel:  “The courts were convened, and the books were opened.  I watched, then, from the first of the arrogant words which the horn spoke, until the beast was slain and its body thrown into the fire to be burnt up.  The other beasts, which also lost their dominion, were granted a prolongation of life for a time and a season.”  (Catholics understand the beast as symbolizing evil powers opposed to God, whose ultimate defeat is assured.)

What caused all others to “lose their dominion”?

“As the visions during the night continued, I saw One like a Son of Man coming on the clouds of Heaven. When He reached The Ancient One and was presented before Him, He received Dominion, Glory, and Kingship:  Nations and peoples of every language (That’s us, Catholics!) serve Him.  His Dominion is an everlasting Dominion that shall not be taken away.  His Kingship will not be destroyed.”

Catholics cure “Confusion Headaches” about That Prophecy of Daniel by realizing His “Dominion” on Earth is The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Spoken Into Being by the Church-Creating Word of The Prophesied “Son of Man” to His First Catholic Pope and those who would succeed him!

Chapter 40

Chapter 40: Daniel Describes His “Confusion Headache”!

Today’s Reading begins with Daniel describing his “Confusion Headache”“I, Daniel, found my spirit anguished within its covering of flesh, and I was terrified by the visions of my mind.”  He sought help!

“I approached one of those present and asked him what all this meant in truth;  in answer, he made known to me the meaning of the things:  ‘These four great beasts stand for four kingdoms which shall arise on the earth.  But, the holy ones of The Most High shall receive the kingship, to possess it forever and ever.'”  Catholics correctly connect That Prophecy to The Church-Creating Word of The Son of Man to His First Catholic Pope!

Daniel still had a “Confusion Headache” as he sought Truth!  “But I wished to make certain about the fourth beast, so very terrible and different from the others, devouring and crushing with its iron teeth and bronze claws, and trampling with his feet what was left;  about the ten horns on its head and the other one that sprang up, before which three horns fell; about the horn with the eyes and the mouth that spoke arrogantly, which appeared greater than its fellows.”

That “Confusion Headache” was cured by understanding that:  “The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, different from all the others;  it shall devour the whole earth, beat it down, and crush it!”  That “kingdom” appears as anti-Catholic forces (like Nero, Arius, Diocletian, Luther, Calvin, French revolutionaries, and Marx) that give lost, unhappy souls excuses to build empires of oppression.

The Prophecy gets more specific:  “The ten horns shall be ten kings rising out of that kingdom;  another shall rise up after them, different from those before him, who shall lay low three kings.  He shall speak against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of The Most High, thinking to change the feast days and the law.”  Throughout history, various powers have attempted to suppress the Catholic faith and its traditions.

Earthly battles between good and evil will be ongoing:  “They shall be handed over to him for a year, two years, and a half-year.  But, when the Court is convened and his power is taken away by final and absolute destruction, the kingship and dominion of all the kingdoms under the heavens shall be given to the holy people of The Most High, Whose Kingdom shall be everlasting: all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”  Catholics trust that survivors may be blessed to be as Catholic as they can.

Today’s Psalm is also from Daniel 3:82-87, teaching us to: “Give glory and eternal praise to Him!” Saved souls are specifically identified.  They “praise and exalt God above all forever… Priests of the Lord will bless, praise, and exalt Him above all forever… so will all of “humble heart” in every Catholic Mass!

Today’s “Alleluia” gives Catholics the advice we need from Luke 21:36“Be vigilant at all times and pray that you may have the strength to stand before the Son of Man.”  Catholics are blessed to “stand before the Son of Man” at every Catholic Mass, where we receive His Body and Blood through the Miracle of Transubstantiation. This passage, while primarily about the Second Coming, also reminds us to stay vigilant through the Sacraments.

Today, Luke 21:34-36 gives firm directions to those who are blessed to Be Catholic:  “Jesus said to His Disciples:  ‘Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap.  For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth.  Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before The Son of Man.”  That is another call to Catholic Communion!

Chapter 41

Chapter 41: The Worst “Confusion Headaches” Come from Climbing the Wrong “Mountain”

Catholics understand that some of the worst “Confusion Headaches” come from asking:  “What Church should I be in?”  The Catholic cure?  “Read the Prophets!”  Today, Isaiah 2:1-5 gives Catholics a beautiful image of what God’s plan has brought about.  Sometime after 742 BC, the Prophet Isaiah (2:1-5) told us:

“This is what Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.  In days to come, the mountain of The Lord’s house shall be established as the highest mountain and raised above the hills.”

Catholics see in this passage a foreshadowing of The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church spoken into being by the Church-Creating Word of He Who fulfilled many Prophecies.  Catholics are blessed to know that Mt. 16:18-19 is as clear as it needs to be about where God left “the highest mountain”“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”!

Catholics understand what Isaiah 2:3 prophesied:  “All nations will stream toward it…” includes those from unknown places like Brazil and the Philippines.  We see his prophecy that “For from Zion shall go forth instruction” predicted that Peter would go to Rome, where the Church became headquartered so that “many peoples would become Catholic.

Catholics understand that the “highest mountain” described by Isaiah could have “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”!  Those who do not let God lead them may reject The Seven Catholic Sacraments that are among “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.  They may experience “Confusion Headaches” every day they do not let themselves think clearly enough to connect Isaiah’s Prophecy with God’s Catholic Church and climb “the highest mountain”.

The Prophecy from Isaiah makes Catholics believe “Confusion Headaches” may grow for those who do not heed His Prophecy.  “All nations shall stream toward it;  many peoples shall come and say:  ‘Come, let us climb the Lord’s mountain, to the house of The God of Jacob, that He may instruct us in His way, and we may walk in His paths.'”  Those suffering from “Confusion Headaches” let human teachings keep them from “instruction in His way” Prophesied to come from the only Church still led by Successors to Peter to help Catholics “walk in His paths”.

May all be blessed to cure “Confusion Headaches” before we go to God’s Judgment!  That’s when lost souls turn into “Confusion Headaches”.  The “Confusion Headache” their souls have chosen to dominate their minds and souls may lead souls away from God’s grace, as Isaiah the Prophet warned, who tells every person in the world to climb “the highest mountain”!

Chapter 42

Chapter 42: Christ’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches”: Be Catholic. Stay Catholic

Yesterday’s Reading from Isaiah 2:1-5 was on the First Day of Advent.  Isaiah predicted that the saved souls of “all nations shall stream toward the mountain of God’s House.”  That was a Prophecy of The Catholic Church Spoken into Being by The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Today, Isaiah 4:2-6 Prophesies The Catholic Church will replace the Temple “for the survivors of Israel.  He who remains in Zion and he who is left in Jerusalem will be called holy, every one marked down for life in Jerusalem.”  For 2,000 years, The Catholic Church, headquartered in Rome, has continued providing The Seven Sacraments of Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders that Jesus left on earth to His “obedient friends” (cf. John 15:14, Matthew 28:18-20).

Those blessed to understand how the Newly Chosen People became The Chosen Church still follow Psalm 122:1-9  that “Let us go rejoicing to The House of The Lord.”  Catholics “have set foot within your gates, O Jerusalem… to which the tribes go up, the Tribes of The Lord… May peace be within your walls, prosperity in your buildings.”

Today’s Reading from Psalm 80:4 foretells the Catholic joy of receiving the Seven Sacraments: “Come and save us, LORD our God;  let Your face shine upon us that we may be saved.”

On this Second Day of Advent, Mt. 8:5-11 tells us that Faith is what saves Catholics from “Confusion Headaches” that affect others.  “When Jesus entered Capernaum, a Centurion approached and appealed to Him, ‘Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully.’ Jesus said ‘I will come and cure him.'”

Then the Roman Centurion gave the world This Catholic Teaching!  “Lord, I am not worthy to have You enter under my roof;  only say the word and my servant shall be healed, for I too, am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me.  They come and go and do as I tell them.”

Not one person in Israel understood the Authority of Jesus as well as that Roman Centurion!  “When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those following Him, ‘Amen I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.  I say to you, many will come from the East and the West, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in The Kingdom of Heaven.” (Catholics see in this a foreshadowing of those who come to the fullness of faith!)

That Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies reminds us that those who have deep understanding of Him, like “anyone in Israel” will get into Heaven.  Many may not yet have found the grace to be freed from “Confusion Headaches” and become Catholic.

Chapter 43

Chapter 43: Isaiah’s Prophecy of Christmas Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

Jesus and the First Christmas were predicted in Isaiah 11:1-10, around 735 BC.  “A shoot shall sprout from the stump of Jesse, and from his roots a bud shall blossom.  The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him;  a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge, and fear of the LORD… Not by appearance shall He judge, nor by hearsay shall He decide, but He shall judge the poor with justice and decide aright for the land’s afflicted.”

Isaiah is very specific!  “On that day, the root of Jesse, set up as a signal for the nations, the Gentiles shall seek out, for His dwelling shall be glorious.”  Then, Isaiah 40:10 proclaims:  “Here comes with power the Lord GOD, who rules by His strong arm; here is His reward with Him, His recompense before Him.”

He Whose Birth has been celebrated for over 2,000 Christmases told us in Luke 10:21-24, “Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I give You praise, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, you have revealed them to the childlike.”

The Obvious Question:  “What Christmas present did Jesus die to give us?”

Answer:  Jesus tells us how blessed Catholics are to obey The Church-Creating Word He Spoke to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” are God’s Christmas presents to us!  They include the Seven Catholic Sacraments which are “the Christmas gift that keeps on giving”.

Chapter 44

Chapter 44: Prophecies Cure “Confusion Headaches” for Catholics!

Isaiah 25:6-10 contains a passage that Catholics see as a prefigurement of the Church and Catholic Communion:  “On this mountain He will destroy the veil that veils all peoples, the web that is woven over all nations;  He will destroy death forever.”

Catholics see in the “mountain” a prefigurement of The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church that was Spoken Into Being by the Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics understand the “veil” as representing what keeps many from seeing the fullness of truth in the “mountain” of God’s Church.

Catholic Communion allows those blessed to receive it to climb God’s “mountain” and have our “death destroyed forever”.

Isaiah’s Catholic Prophecy continues:  “The reproach of His people He will remove from the whole earth; for the LORD has spoken.”  We see that those “on the mountain” are there because they have had their “reproach” forgiven by Catholic priests, among those on earth given The Power of Absolution by Jesus in John 20:23“Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

Babylon’s “veil” also keeps many victims of vanity from heeding The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus emphasized throughout John 6: ”Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Many who live under “veils” insult The Holy Trinity WHO IS GOD by saying:  “Jesus was only speaking symbolically. He cannot have the power to provide a Catholic clergy Ordained with the Divine Authority to turn bread and wine into His Body and Blood at Catholic Communion.  That is impossible!”

That is an attack on The Three Equal Persons of The Trinity!  Every believer knows that God Spoke His Creation into Being by saying, “Let there be light;  and there was light.”

Catholics understand:  “The Son has the Father’s Power to Speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being!”

Today’s Gospel Reading from Mt. 15:29-37 is another Prophecy of The Miracle of The Last Supper’s First Communion!  No Christian denies that The Son could transform seven loaves of bread and “a few fish” into a full meal for thousands of followers when “He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground.  Then He took the seven loaves and the fish, gave thanks, broke the loaves, and gave them to the Disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.”

That was a Prophecy of every Catholic Mass that followed The Last Supper for the billions blessed to Be Catholic, receive His Body and Blood by The Miracle of Transubstantiation, and “have life in us”!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

~

Chapter 45

Chapter 45: Today, Jesus Tells Us That Some “Confusion Headaches” Are Eternally Fatal

Isaiah 26:1-6 celebrates the strength of God’s city and those who keep faith:  “A strong city have we… with walls and ramparts to protect us… Open up the gates to let in a nation that is just, one that keeps faith.”

That “nation” refers to the first Catholics who lived in Jerusalem and kept “the faith” of those who followed Jesus, the Prophesied Messiah.  Then, the Prophet told us what would happen to those who did not “Trust in the LORD forever!” Isaiah warned the ages:  “For the LORD is an eternal Rock…He humbles those in high places, and the lofty city He brings down;  He tumbles it to the ground, levels it with the dust.  It is trampled underfoot by the needy, by the footsteps of the poor.”

700 years later, Jesus Himself prophesied the fate of Jerusalem:  “Not one stone will be left standing on another.”  About 40 years later, Titus fulfilled that Prophecy.  Titus “flattened the city” and “not one stone was left standing on another.”

Anyone can connect Isaiah’s Prophecy with Psalm 118!  “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”!  “It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man or princes.”  Future Catholics are predicted: “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD… the LORD is God and He has given us light.”

Isaiah 55:6 is another Prophecy about how to save our souls!  “Seek the LORD while He may be found;  call Him while He is near.”

Today’s Gospel from Mt 7:21-27 gives us This Guiding Direction from He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies!  “Jesus said to His disciples:  ‘Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord.’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in Heaven.”  Catholics understand this as Jesus calling us to His Church!

Jesus separates sheep from goats!  “Everyone who listens to these Words of Mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.  The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house.  But, it did not collapse.”

Then, Jesus teaches about those who hear His word but do not act on it, which Catholics understand as relevant to accepting His Church:  “And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand.”

Catholics “act” on The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope!

For 2,000 years, Catholics have seen a pattern: many nations, denominations, and families have struggled when “the winds blew,” and Catholics believe this reflects Christ’s teaching about building on a firm foundation, while recognizing that God judges each heart individually (cf. CCC 847).

Chapter 46

Chapter 46: Another Prophecy, Another “Confusion Headache” Cured!

Worrying about the future is a “Confusion Headache”!  The Prophet Isaiah 29:17-24 shares God’s Cure, which is realizing that God controls the future.

Seven hundred years Before Christ, the people of Israel were worried.  Isaiah let them know:  “Thus says the Lord God;  ‘But in a very short time, Lebanon shall be changed into an orchard and the orchard will be regarded as a forest!”  And, in a few hundred years, the nation of Babylon would become an “orchard” while the house of Israel would be a “forest”.

Then, Isaiah prophesied that the Israelites would return to their God: “On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book;  and out of the gloom and darkness, the eyes of the blind shall see.”  That Prophecy came true twice: first in the blessed time after God’s “garden” of Jerusalem was rebuilt by those returning from Babylon, and when the Prophesied Messiah came and made the entire World His Catholic “garden”.

Another Prophecy follows:  “The lowly will ever find joy in the Lord, and the poor rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.”  For 2,000 years, the poorest of the “poor” have taken vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience to find “joy in the Lord”!

Then, Isaiah predicts:  “For the tyrant will be no more and the arrogant will have gone; all who are alert to do evil will be cut off, those who ensnare his defender at the gate, and leave the just man with an empty claim.”  Since that Prophecy, countless tyrants have come and “are no more”; the “arrogant” have passed away; and Catholics see in those who “are alert to evil” a pattern of those who reject God’s grace and risk being “cut off” from “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

Then, the Promise of Salvation is Prophesied for those blessed to Be Catholic!  “Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of the house of Jacob who redeemed Abraham, now Jacob will have nothing to be ashamed of, nor shall his face grow pale.”

The Catholic Church, Herself, is then Predicted:  “When His children see the work of My hands in His midst, they shall keep My name holy;  they shall reverence the Holy One of Jacob, and be in awe of the God of Israel.”

And!  The Promise of Salvation to all who are blessed to Be Catholic is clear:  “Those who err in spirit shall acquire understanding, and those who find fault shall receive instruction.”

We see that Isaiah’s Prophecy reflects the predictions of the Psalms written 300 years earlier that come true for every Catholic.  Psalm 27:1-4 and 13-14 include:  “The Lord is my light and my salvation… my life’s refuge… One thing I ask of the Lord, this I seek, to dwell in the House of The Lord all the days of my life that I may gaze on the loveliness of The Lord and contemplate His temple.”

That Prophecy describes every Catholic who obeys The Church-Creating Word from He Who Fulfilled Isaiah’s Prophecy 40:10,  “Behold, the Lord shall come with Power!” and Who Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!

Chapter 47

Chapter 47: “Confusion Headaches” Keep Billions of Minds from Thinking Clearly

Five Simple Questions help many souls get into Heaven:

  1. “How do ‘Confusion Headaches’ keep people from getting into Heaven?”Answer:  “They keep minds from thinking clearly about important things.”
  2. “What is the most important thing we can think about?”Answer:  “Getting the greatest benefit for the longest time.  Being Catholic lets our immortal soul have ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’, forever.
  3. “Who gave ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ to The Catholic Church?”Answer:  “Jesus Christ began to fulfill many Prophecies when He was born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2) to a Virgin of the House of David (Isaiah 7:14).  Those who see God’s Power to fulfill Prophecies know the greatest power in Creation is God’s Love for us.”
  4. “What makes Being Catholic so important?”Answer:  “Jesus Fulfilled The Prophecies.  And, He Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His first Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”  Those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” include the authority to administer the Seven Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Communion, Confession, Marriage, Holy Orders, and the Anointing of the Sick.”
  5. “If I refuse to ‘Be Catholic’, do I keep my immortal soul from getting ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus died to leave on earth?”Answer:  “That is The Question Everyone is Smart Enough to Ask!  It begins to cure ‘Confusion Headaches’ that keep billions of souls from getting ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ from the surest place Jesus left them!”

Chapter 48

Chapter 48: “Confusion Headaches” Keep Many from Seeing How “Complex Frauds” Keep Many Souls from Heaven

The human soul is the most precious thing on earth.  Jesus died to let obedient souls have “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

Clouds of demons bring “Confusion Headaches” to keep many souls from getting the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus gave to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics see many “Complex Frauds” as obstacles that may keep people from Being Catholic.  What happens to those who let themselves suffer from “Confusion Headaches” that are caused by participating in “Complex Frauds”?

Jesus warns us that leading others away from the truth carries grave consequences.  As He said in Matthew 18:6: “whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

How do we identify a “Complex Fraud”?

All “Complex Frauds” give people reasons to reject “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” for their immortal souls: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Communion, Confession, Marriage, Holy Orders, and the Anointing of the Sick.

Judgment is coming.  May all be blessed to Be Catholic while we have time on earth to do so.

Chapter 49

Chapter 49: Mary IS a “Confusion Headache” for Many Protestants

The difference between Eve and Mary gives Protestants this “Confusion Headache”:   “The first woman disobeyed God and kept everyone out of Heaven.  How can Mary do the opposite and open the door to Heaven by bringing God to earth in human form?”

Catholics see in Eve’s choice to “eat the forbidden fruit” a temptation that still resonates:  “God cannot tell me what to do!”  Many children of Eve still believe, “Mary cannot be so much better than me that she could bring God to earth in human form!”

Today, “The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary” lets Catholic women realize how blessed they are to live by Psalm 98:1-4 and “Sing to the Lord a new song” because “All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God.”

Catholics are blessed to live by the truth of God’s Angel in Luke 1:28 and Elizabeth in Luke 1:42 “Hail (Mary), full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed is the fruit of your womb.”  Catholics believe that since Mary was “full of grace”, she was preserved from sin (cf. CCC 491)!

When Mary heard these Words of God addressed to her, “she was greatly troubled, and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.”

Gabriel explained to Mary and the world:  “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.  Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus.  He will be great and be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of David, His Father, and He will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of His Kingdom, there will be no end.”

Mary was blessed to see her place in the preceding 13.8 billion years of Time and Space that followed God’s bringing forth of His Creation, “Let there be light, and there was light!”

“Mary said, ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of The Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.’  Then, the angel departed from her.”

Chapter 50: Isaiah’s Prophecies Cure “Confusion Headaches” Beyond Jerusalem

Isaiah 40:1-11 brings a message of comfort and restoration to Jerusalem!  “Comfort, give comfort to My people,’ says your God.  ‘Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her service is at an end, her guilt is expiated;  indeed, she has received from the hand of the Lord double for all her sins.’”

A hundred and fifty years after Isaiah revealed that Prophecy, Jerusalem was captured by King Nebuchadnezzar II in 586 BC.  Her people were deported to Babylon.

Isaiah’s message of comfort was fulfilled when the exiles returned from Babylon.  Yet Jerusalem would suffer again in 70 AD, as Jesus Himself prophesied.   Titus literally “flattened” the city, leaving, as Jesus Prophesied in Mt. 24:2, “not one stone was left standing upon another.”  Jerusalem’s suffering continued with Jerusalem’s defeats in the Kitos Wars, from 115-117 AD, and the Bar Kokhba Revolt, put down in 135 AD.  In 351 AD, another uprising was put down in Sepphoris, in Northern Israel, by Gallus.

Isaiah still tells us to Be Catholic! “In the desert prepare the way of The Lord!  Make straight in the wasteland a highway for our God!… Then, the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all people shall see it together; for the mouth of The Lord has spoken.”

Catholics are blessed to obey what “the mouth of The Lord has spoken” when He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” include the Seven Catholic Sacraments that cure the “Confusion Headaches” that come from ignoring He Whom The Prophets Predicted.

One of those Sacraments fulfills this Prophecy of Isaiah 40:11 that specifically refers to Jesus:  “Like a shepherd, He feeds His flock!”

May all be blessed to cure every “Confusion Headache” by heeding what He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies taught us about Catholic Communion:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Catholics recognize The Loving Power of God to Ordain His Catholic priests with the authority to provide That Holy Food by The Miracle of Transubstantiation at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.

Chapter 51

Chapter 51: May All Be Blessed with This Cure for “Confusion Headaches”!

Today, the Prophet Isaiah (Is 40:25-31) cures specific “Confusion Headaches” that keep people from having their thinking be in line with God.

He begins by reminding us that we are not equal to Him by asking Today’s Question 1!  “‘To whom can you liken me as an equal?’ says The Holy One… Lift up your eyes on high and see Who has created these things:  He leads out their army and numbers them, calling them all by name.”  We begin to cure our “Confusion Headaches” with the fact that God knows our “name”!

That knowledge is reinforced:  “By His great might and the strength of His power not one of them is missing!”  Then, God asks Question 2 that continues to cure “Confusion Headaches”“Why, O Jacob, do you say and declare, O Israel, ‘My way is hidden from The Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God?”

Then, Question 3!  “Do you not know, or have you not heard?  The Lord is the eternal God, creator of the ends of the earth.  He does not faint nor grow weary, and His knowledge is beyond scrutiny.  He gives strength to the fainting;  for the weak, He makes vigor abound.”

Then, God makes His cure for “Confusion Headaches” clear to all:  “Though young men faint and grow weary, and youths stagger and fall, they that hope in The Lord will renew their strength, they will soar as with eagles’ wings;  they will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint.”

Psalm 103, 1-4, 8, and 10 clarify God’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches”!  “O, bless the Lord, my soul… and all my being bless His Holy Name… forget not all His benefits… He pardons all your iniquities, He heals all your ills…  He redeems your life from destruction… He crowns you with kindness and compassion…  Merciful and gracious is the Lord, slow to anger and abounding in kindness… Not according to our sins does He deal with us, nor does He requite us according to our crimes.”

The Advent antiphon inspired by Isaiah 40:10 tells us whose “Confusion Headaches” are cured:  “Alleluia!  Behold, The Lord comes to save His people;  blessed are those prepared to meet him.”

Today, He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies makes it clear in Mt 11:28-30 how He wants us to cure our “Confusion Headaches”!   “Jesus said to the crowds:  ‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;  and you will find rest for yourselves.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

What is His “yoke” that cures “Confusion Headaches”?  It is The Catholic Church Jesus Spoke Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!

Every Catholic’s “Confusion Headache” is cured by being blessed to have our “Confusion Headaches” cured by the Seven Catholic Sacraments that are among “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”:  Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Communion, Confession, Marriage, Holy Orders, and the Anointing of the Sick!

Chapter 52

Chapter 52: Psalm 25:4-9 Gives Us God’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches”!

  1. “What cure for ‘Confusion Headaches’ are Catholics blessed to have?”Answer:  “Catholics begin with two facts:  1.  We all have ‘Confusion Headaches’!  2.  God provides ‘one cure’ for all of them!”
  2. “What ‘one cure’ for ‘Confusion Headaches’ does God provide?”Answer:  “Psalm 25:4-9 tells us to ask God to bless us with His ‘one cure’‘Teach me Your ways, O Lord’!  God’s cure for ‘Confusion Headaches’ is clear:  ‘Your ways, O Lord, make known to me;  teach me Your paths, guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God, My savior.’
  3. “Why would God want to help me cure my ‘Confusion Headaches’?”Answer:  “That’s what God does!  ‘Remember that Your compassion, O Lord, and Your kindness are from of old.  In Your kindness remember me, because of Your goodness, O Lord.’
  4. “Does God tell whose ‘Confusion Headaches’ He will cure?”Answer:  “The Psalm is clear!  ‘Good and upright is The Lord;  thus He shows sinners the way.  He guides the humble to justice, He teaches the humble His way.’
  5. “How are Catholics blessed with God’s Cure for our ‘Confusion Headaches’?”Answer:  “We ask God to let us connect many of His Prophets’ Prophecies about Jesus.  Two of them tell us He would be ‘The Son of a Virgin of the House of David’ (Isaiah 7:14), and that He would be ‘born in Bethlehem.'(Micah 5:2).“Then, Catholics make ourselves ‘humble’ enough to ask God to answer the prayer request we learn from Psalm 85:7:  ‘Show us, Lord, Your love, and grant us Your salvation.’
  6. “Who would be too vain to ask He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to cure our ‘Confusion Headaches’?”Answer:  Matthew 21:23-27 tells us that worldly people did not want to recognize God’s Power to send His last Prophet, John the Baptist, to earth.  All who do not want to recognize that ignore the Church-Creating Decree of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Chapter 53

Chapter 53: Today’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches”: “Do Not Shirk / from God’s Work!” in HIS “Vineyard”

Today’s Reading from Zephaniah 3:1-2, 9-13 tells us whose souls are in danger at Judgment!  “Thus says the LORD:  Woe to the city, rebellious and polluted, to the tyrannical city!  She hears no voice, accepts no correction;  In the LORD she has not trusted,  to her God she has not drawn near.”

Every self-serving person in every Babylonian government in History was described in two sentences!  They do not hear God’s “voice” and they “accept no correction”!  Many who suffer from that “Confusion Headache” come to this conclusion: “Since I  ‘need no correction’, I am God!”

The Prophet Zephaniah 1:4 spoke to those in every Babylon where God would “destroy out of this place the remnant of Baal, and the names of the idolatrous priests.”   His Prophecy came true in less than a century!  In 586 BC, nearly all in Jerusalem were captured and taken to Babylon because “she hath not listened to God’s voice nor received discipline”!  As predicted, “the proud braggarts will be removed from your midst”.

The Bible’s Messianic Prophecies were fulfilled when Jesus, the Prophesied Son of God, was “born of a Virgin of the House of David” (Isaiah 7:14) in “Bethlehem” (Micah 5:2).

He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies, including those of Zephaniah, would Speak His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope (Mt. 16:18-19)!  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  Those blessed to be Catholic would be blessed for the next 2,000 years with His Catholic Gift!  “I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”   Those “Gifts from God” include the Seven Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick.

Today’s Psalm 34:2-22 gives us Words of God with which Catholics cure every “Confusion Headache” “The Lord redeems the lives of His servants;  no one incurs guilt who takes refuge in Him.”

Those who want God’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches” plead with God in Today’s Alleluia in an Advent antiphon inspired by Psalm 70:5: “Come, O Lord, do not delay;  forgive the sins of Your people.”

He Who fulfilled The Prophecies told us how to cure “Confusion Headaches” in Mt 21:28-32.  One son obeyed His Father’s order: “Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.”  One son said he would not, but “changed his mind” and obeyed.  The other son said he would.   Then, he changed his mind and  “did not go”.

May all be blessed to do as the first son did: “Be Catholic” and “work in God’s vineyard!”

Chapter 54

Chapter 54: God’s Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches” Is in Jacob’s Prophecy

Jacob, son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham, prophesied a blessing over his son Judah in Genesis 49:8: “‘You, Judah, shall your brothers praise, your hand on the neck of your enemies: the sons of your father shall bow down to you.'” Catholics see in this prophecy a prefiguring of Christ, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, through Whom the priestly offering of bread and wine — first seen in Melchizedek’s blessing of Abraham (Genesis 14:18) — would reach its fulfillment in the Holy Eucharist.

Catholics make the blessed “Catholic Connection” with that Word of God.  It still cures the “Confusion Headaches” suffered by all others:  Catholics are the true “sons of your father” because they continue to “bow down to you” by respecting the current Successor to Peter.

We make that connection between Judah and the Catholic Pope by seeing that the preceding millennia of unwritten Human History entered a new age around 33 AD, when He Who Fulfilled many prophecies spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being.  We see that God’s chosen “son of Judah” has ruled God’s Church for the past 2,000 years!

As the writer of Psalm 72 predicted:  “Justice shall flourish in his time, and fullness of peace for ever.”  Catholics still “bow down” before our Popes who lead Catholic priests, religious, and us because:  “He shall defend the afflicted among the people… save the children of the poor… In him shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.”

Our Catholic Popes embody “O Wisdom of our God Most High, guiding creation with power and love;  come to teach us the path of knowledge.”  Those who refuse that “guiding” suffer from the “Confusion Headaches” that keep many from Being Catholic.

Today’s New Testament Reading from Matthew 1:1-17 reminds us of the 14 generations between Abraham and David, 14 more between David and the Babylonian exile, and the 14 generations from then until The Birth of Jesus!

May all be blessed to cure our “Confusion Headaches” by connecting the Prophecy of Jacob to over 13.8 billion years of History from the moment God said “Let there be light, and there was light!” and see The Power of God at work on earth in His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

Postscript:  Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of God Most High, prefigured the priesthood of Christ and His Catholic priests (cf. Psalm 110:4; Hebrews 7; CCC 1544).

Chapter 55

Chapter 55: Prophecies Help Many Cure “Confusion Headaches” Enough to “Be Catholic!”

Today, every “Confusion Headache” that makes people worry about their soul is cured by Prophecies that begin in Jeremiah 23:5-8:

  1. “Behold the days are coming says the LORD, when I will raise up a righteous shoot to David;”
  2. “As King, He shall reign and govern wisely,”
  3. “He shall do what is just and right in the land.”
  4. “In His days, Judah shall be saved,”
  5. “Israel shall dwell in security.”
  6. “This is the name they give Him;  ‘The LORD our justice’.”
  7. “Therefore, the days will come, says the LORD, when they shall no longer say ‘As the LORD lives, who brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt’;  but rather ‘As the LORD lives who brought the descendants of the house of Israel up from the land of the North’, and from all the lands to which I banished them;  they shall live again on their own land.”More “Confusion Headaches” are cured by Prophecies in Psalm 72: 1-2, 12-13, 18-19!
  8. “Justice shall flourish in His time, and fullness of peace forever.”
  9. “O God, with Your justice endow the king, and with Your justice the King’s son;”
  10. “He shall govern your people with justice and your afflicted ones with Justice.”
  11. “For He shall rescue the poor when he cries out”
  12. “and the afflicted when he has no one to help him.”
  13. “He shall have pity for the lowly and the poor; the lives of the poor shall He save.”
  14. “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous deeds.”
  15. “And blessed forever be His Holy Name;  may the whole earth be filled with His glory.”The final Prophecies in Today’s Catholic Reading are from Matthew 1:18-25:
  16. “…the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, ‘Joseph, Son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home.'”
  17. ‘For it is through the Holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her.’
  18. ‘She will bear a Son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins'”
  19. “All this took place to fulfill what The Lord had said through the prophet
  20. (Isaiah 7:14), ‘Behold the Virgin shall conceive and bear a child and they shall name Him ‘Emmanuel’, which means ‘God is with us.'”

How do those Prophecies cure “Confusion Headaches” for Catholics?  We gratefully obey The Church-Creating Word of He Who Is The Eternal Fulfillment of many Prophecies!

Catholics are blessed to have our “Confusion Headaches” cured by Church Guidance and The Seven Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders!

Chapter 56

Chapter 56: God Told Samson, John the Baptist, and Us One Way to Avoid “Confusion Headaches”!

The Book of Judges, 13:2-7, 24-25, tells us God’s enemies are symbolized by “Philistines”.  They are descended from the “Sea Peoples” who attacked Egypt and other nations over a thousand years Before Christ.  We see that Samson “shall be consecrated to God from the womb.” His mother was told to avoid “wine, strong drink, or eating anything unclean” as part of that consecration.

That is God’s Good Advice for every Mother who wants her child to avoid “Confusion Headaches” that keep them from living up to God’s potential!

That Parental Advice is echoed in Today’s Psalm 71:6“From my mother’s womb you are my strength.”

Another miraculous pregnancy!  Luke 1:5-25 tells us of John the Baptist, born among the people saved by Samson.  “But the angel said to him, ‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard.  Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John.
And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth,  for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.
He will drink neither wine nor strong drink.
He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel
to the Lord their God.'”

What was John the Baptist’s mission in life?  “He will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of fathers toward children and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to prepare a people fit for the Lord.”

Like Samson, John the Baptist would “get people ready for Jesus!” His Mother, Elizabeth, would not only avoid “wine and strong drink” but also would go “into seclusion for five months” in preparation for her son’s sacred mission.

Catholic Mothers and Fathers have a lot to think about as we get ready for Christmas!

~

Chapter 57

Chapter 57: At Christmas, Catholics Cure “Confusion Headaches” That Keep Others from Thinking Clearly!

Unhappy men and women suffer from the “Confusion Headaches” that come from ignoring The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Spoken Into Being by The Church-Creating Word from He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies.   The Son of God, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, Spoke His Church-Creating Word only to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Every time a person sees a cross and ignores The Church-Creating Word of Mary’s Son, their “Confusion Headache” gets worse!  The truth-hating temptations of the devil darken their mind and deepen their “Confusion Headache”.

“Confusion Headaches” have been cured by asking One Question for the past 2,000 years:  “How can God help me to find happiness and joy by living a simple life centered on Him?”

Every “Confusion Headache” is cured with One Blessed Answer:  “I will be as Catholic as I can!”

Catholics find happiness in knowing the Simple Truth:  “God began to bring forth His Creation over 13.8 billion years ago.  God’s Creation now spreads across 93 billion light-years.  All is here to give us Free Will.”  Catholics cure “Confusion Headaches” by understanding This Simple Truth:

“God loves me so much that He created me AND gave me the grace to receive His Actual Body and Blood in Catholic Communion!”

That’s why Catholics have “The Merriest Christmas of all!”

~

Chapter 58

Chapter 58: Is God “Weary” of People Who Prefer Their “Confusion Headaches” to Him?

Catholics pray that all are blessed to make these Words of God from The Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 7:10-14) an important part of our minds:

“The LORD spoke to Ahaz (a king who denied God), saying, ‘Ask for a sign from the LORD your God;  let it be as deep as the netherworld, or high as the sky!”

We see the common excuse for avoiding God: “But Ahaz answered, ‘I will not ask!  I will not tempt the LORD!'”

Then, Isaiah spoke This Prophecy that all who most meaningfully respect God’s Prophets have followed for 2,000 years, with his reply:

“Then, Isaiah said:  ‘Listen, O house of David!  Is it not enough for you to weary people, must you also weary my God?”  Catholics understand that God is “wearied” by those “in the house of David” who do not respectfully listen to Him and His Prophets.

Then, Isaiah made This Catholic Prophecy “Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you this sign:  ‘the virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel.'”

For many in “the house of David”, it is a “new idea” to see how Catholics connect that Prophetic Truth to The Second Person of The Holy Trinity because the name “Emmanuel” literally means “God is with us”!

“God is with” Catholics because we respect God’s Truth enough to receive what our Catholic priests provide by obeying The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus emphasized throughout John 6:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”   Many avoid understanding that Catholics are blessed to literally have “God with us!”

Catholics respect God’s Prophets so much that we are blessed to be in The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Spoken Into Being by The Church-Creating Word from He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies to the First Catholic Pope!

Many become Catholic to avoid being among those who “weary my God” with the usual, boring reasons for doing what they want.

Chapter 59

Chapter 59: Wow! Today’s Reading Cures “Confusion Headaches” in Time for Christmas!

1 Samuel 1:24-28 tells us we should return God’s Blessing to us by giving ourselves to God.  That’s what Hannah did when she gave her only son to God.  “I prayed for this child, and the LORD granted my request. Now I, in turn, give him to the LORD;  as long as he lives, he shall be dedicated to the LORD.’  She left Samuel there.”

Samuel was blessed to live by his Mother’s blessing, expressed in Hannah’s canticle (1 Samuel 2:1-10)!  “My heart exults in the LORD, my horn is exalted by my God!… “The bows of the mighty are broken…. The LORD puts to death and gives life… He makes some poor and some rich… He raises the needy from the dust;  from the dung heap He lifts up the poor, to seat them with nobles and make a glorious throne their heritage.”

Catholics are blessed to see what Our Loving Creator has revealed in His Creation in Today’s Alleluia“O King of all nations and keystone of the Church;  come and save man, whom You formed from the dust!”

Catholics share what is a “new idea” to many: Hannah, the mother of Samuel, returned in holier form in Mary, the Mother of Jesus!  She brought the Old Testament and the New together in Luke 1:  46-56:

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;  my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has looked upon His lowly servant.  From this day all generations will call me blessed:  the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is His Name.”

Catholics are blessed by Six Short Prophecies from The Mother of The Second Person of The Holy Trinity!

  1. “From this day, all generations will call me blessed.”  (Fulfillment:  That Prophecy comes true every time a Catholic says a “Hail Mary”.  Each of what may be trillions of Hail Marys has included “blessed art thou among women!”  Even the most close-minded Protestants can’t argue with the fact that Prophecy is still being fulfilled by Catholics (and, some Protestants!) as it has in the last 2,000 years of happy Catholics.
  2. “He has mercy on those who fear Him in every generation.”  (Fulfillment:  Catholics trust that those who obey God’s commands may be counted among “You are My friends if you obey My commands”!)
  3. “He has shown the strength of His arm, and has scattered the proud in their conceit.”  (Fulfillment:  Catholics see in history the rise and fall of many movements that opposed the faith.)
  4. “He has cast down the mighty from their thrones and lifted up the lowly.”  (Fulfillment:  Again, the souls of His “obedient friends” [Catholics] are “lifted up”!)
  5. “He has filled the hungry with good things  and the rich He has sent away empty.”  (Fulfillment:  Catholics understand this as a call to receive the Sacraments and avoid spiritual complacency.)
  6. “He has come to the help of His servant, Israel, for He remembered His Promise of Mercy, the promise He made to our fathers, to Abraham, and his children forever.”  (Fulfillment:  Catholics still get God’s “help” to be and stay as Catholic as we can.)

Catholics are blessed to see that Mary’s Prophecies came true when Jesus left us a place where every person could find God’s “Promise of Mercy”!  He Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being with His Church-Creating Word to God’s First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”!

May all be blessed to respect The Prophecies of Mary, get the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, and have the Seven Catholic Sacraments let our immortal souls into Heaven!

~

Chapter 60

Chapter 60: Being Catholic Cures “Confusion Headaches” Enough to Understand This!

Today, Catholics are blessed to ask a Simple Question:  Is This Prophecy of Mary, the Virgin Mother of The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, fulfilled today? Luke 1:48, “All generations shall call me blessed.”

Mary was one young mother in a world of over two hundred million people.  Nearly half of them may also have been  mothers.

Catholics see the Miracle!  One young mother in a world of millions said: “All generations will call me blessed” and had That Prophecy fulfilled in the centuries since both The Rosary and The Catholic Bible were provided by The Catholic Church.

All generations” of billions of Catholics on Earth have fulfilled that Prophecy of Mary on each of the 53 beads of our Rosaries every year, month, week, day, or hour by reverently saying, trillions of times: “Hail Mary, full of Grace, The Lord is with thee.  Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.”

That Is The Most Staggering Prophecy Fulfillment until the day Mary’s Son spoke His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope that saved billions of Catholics from hell in the last 2,000 years!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Every person who strives to Be Catholic knows:  “My immortal soul will go to Heaven because I am blessed to honor Mary and God for fulfilling The Specific Prophecy God chose Her to make!”

Catholics look at all the numbers of things Our Loving Creator began to bring forth over 13.8 billion years ago in His Creation He created to give us Free Will, and ask:  “Are Catholics the smartest people on earth, or the most Blessed by God?”

The answer:  “We are both!”

Chapter 61

Chapter 61: Today, Two Prophets Cure “Confusion Headaches”!

Today, we see that the Prophet Nathan began curing “Confusion Headaches” with Catholic Prophecies in 2 Samuel 7:1, 8-12, 16.

He ended King David’s, and the world’s “Confusion Headache”, with these Prophecies:  (#1) “And when your time comes and you rest with your ancestors, (2) I will raise up your heir after you, sprung from your loins, (3) and I will make His Kingdom firm.  (4) I will be a Father to Him, and He shall be a Son to Me.  (5) Your house and your Kingdom shall endure forever before Me;  (6) your throne shall stand firm forever.’”

Those six Prophecies came true:  The Catholic Church has “endured” for 2,000 years, growing ever closer to God while the Pope, each a Successor to St. Peter, has had a “throne”.

Catholics are blessed to know that Nathan was Prophesying Jesus and His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

On Christmas Eve, His Church wants us to think about more Bible Prophecies from Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist!

Luke 1:67-69“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel; for (7) He has come to His people and set them free.  (8) He has raised up for us a mighty Savior, (9) born of the house of his servant David.
Through his Prophets, He promised of old that (10) He would save us from our enemies, from the hands of all who hate us.
(11) He promised to show mercy to our fathers and (12) to remember His holy covenant.
This was the oath He swore to our father Abraham: (13) to set us free from the hand of our enemies, (14) free to worship Him without fear, (15) holy and righteous in His sight all the days of our life.
(16) You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High, (17) for you will go before the Lord to prepare His way, (18) to give His people knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins.
(19) In the tender compassion of our God, the dawn from on high shall break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and (20) to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Catholics think about those Prophecies, and we say: “Thank you, God, for letting us Be Catholic, and have ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’!”

Chapter 62

Chapter 62: Do Many Anti-Catholics Still Suffer from Cain’s “Confusion Headache”?

Jesus fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies.  When He completed His Work on Earth, many people hated His followers for obeying The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Acts 6:8-10; 7:54-59 explain why some anti-Catholics hated Jesus and the first Catholics!  “Stephen, filled with grace and power, was working great wonders and signs among the people.”  Many adversaries were jealous because they could not win their “debates” because of the greater “wisdom and spirit with which he spoke.”

The ancient formula:  Jealousy + Envy = Cain has described pretentious adversaries for the past 2,000 years!  “When they heard this, they were infuriated, and they ground their teeth at him.  But he, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked up intently to Heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and Stephen said,

‘Behold, I see the Heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.'”

Those who opposed the early Church hated to hear that Stephen, or any Catholic, could see God and that they could not!  They did what every envious pseudo-intellectual has done in some form since Cain killed Abel (Genesis 4:1-10)  and Korah challenged the authority of Moses  (Numbers 16:1-40):   “They cried out in a loud voice, covered their ears, and rushed upon him together.  They threw him out of the city (Jerusalem) and began to stone him.”

As St. Stephen was dying from their wounds, “he called out” what every Catholic martyr has said to anti-Catholic persecutors for the past 2,000 years: “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

St. Stephen was a living fulfillment of the Prophecy in Today’s Psalm (31:3-4, 6): “Into Your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.”

Some are proud to not be among those illuminated in Psalm 118:26-27, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord;  the Lord is God and has given us light.”

Stephen’s murder was the first Catholic fulfillment of This Prophecy of Jesus in Mt. 10:17-22:  “Jesus said to His Disciples, ‘Beware of men, for they will hand you over to courts and scourge you in their synagogues, and you will be led before governors and kings for My sake, as a witness before them and the pagans.'”

Jesus prophesied that many would become anti-Catholic for personal gain.  “Brother will hand over brother unto death, and the father his child;  children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.  You will be hated by all because of My Name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved.”

There is no greater blessing on earth than to Be Catholic and have our souls blessed with only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus died to leave on earth in His Seven Catholic Sacraments.

Chapter 63

Chapter 63: The Worst “Confusion Headaches” Keep the Most Souls from Heaven!

What may be The Worst “Confusion Headache” may affect those who think:  “I am as smart and good as anyone!”

That “Confusion Headache” leads some to reject The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled more than 60 Messianic Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Many read that and proudly announce:I know more than Jesus and The Bible about what is best for me!”

When asked, “Will rejecting the Church-Creating Word of Jesus keep my soul from Heaven?”, some who experience this “Confusion Headache” respond with a common belief:  “Jesus has to let us into Heaven!”

~

What causes those soul-crippling “Confusion Headaches”?  Catholics are blessed to know the names of seven tribes of demons that strive to confuse every human mind!  Pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth work to darken the soul and cloud the mind.  A helpful way to remember them is with the acronym “peggalas”.  They can prevent clarity in understanding God’s truth.

One good thing:  Many Protestants are still blessed by the Sacrament of Baptism.  Getting rid of the “original sin” of Adam and Eve’s willful disobedience to God helps many to live far better lives.

500 years of Protestantism reflects what Catholics see as a one Confusion Headache” that may come from differing views on salvation:  “You know more than Jesus about which church to be in!” is added to: “Jesus has to let you into Heaven because you are Baptized!”

He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies made His cure for “Confusion Headaches” clear by telling us several times:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”  Catholics receive That Holy Food after we have had our sins forgiven by the blessing of Confession and Absolution from our Catholic priests.

Catholics believe God loves us enough to cure all “Confusion Headaches” through The Seven Catholic Sacraments, the fullness of the means of salvation.

~

Chapter 64

Chapter 64: Today’s Psalm Helps Believers Cure “Confusion Headaches” by “Using Opposites”!

Psalm 128: 1-5 lets us see that “using opposites” is a “new idea” to help us be as Catholic as we can!

Consider this and its “opposite:  “Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways!”  Catholics consider the “new idea”: that the “opposite” is also true: “Cursed are those who do not fear the Lord enough to walk in His ways.”

Catholics know that many use deadly sins of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth (peggalas) to keep souls from the “opposite” alternative, getting “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

Catholics choose the “seven opposites” of those sins in Colossians 3:12-21:  “Put on, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved: (1.) heartfelt compassion, (2.) kindness, (3.) humility, (4.) gentleness, (5.) patience, (6.) bearing with one another, (7.) forgive as we are forgiven by God, loving our neighbor, the bond of perfection.

Demons want us to do the “opposite” of what Colossians 3:15-16 teaches Catholics in today’s “Alleluia”: “Let the peace of Christ control your hearts; let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.”

Catholics correctly connect that with the call to Catholic Communion that lets us have Christ “dwell in” us by obeying what Jesus emphasized throughout John 6:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

The awful, anti-Catholic “opposite” of that is to “have death in you.”

May all be blessed to let The Church-Creating Word of Christ to His First Catholic Pope “dwell in us richly” by receiving His Actual Body and Blood in Catholic Communion by The Miracle of Transubstantiation!  Catholic priests are Ordained in Living Link with the Ordination of Peter and the First Catholic Bishops by Jesus, 2,000 years ago.

Catholics are blessed to let That Holy Food “dwell in”  us who are blessed to respect Jesus enough to Be Catholic:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics are blessed to do the “opposite” of what worldly people want us to do.  We “have life dwelling in us” by having “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”!

The Church teaches that those who knowingly and willfully reject Christ’s Church risk “death” and “hell,” though God alone judges the heart (cf. CCC 847).

Footnote from Today’s Gospel:  Catholics are blessed to understand God’s Connection between the Old Testament Prophets who predicted Jesus and see why He is known as a “Nazorean”“Some such Old Testament texts are Isaiah 11:1, where the Davidic king of the future is called ‘a bud’ (nēser) that shall blossom from the roots of Jesse, and Judges 13:5,7  where Samson, the future deliverer of Israel from the Philistines, is called one who shall be consecrated (a nāzîr) to God.” (https://bible.usccb.org/bible/matthew/2?13)

Chapter 65

Chapter 65: Today’s Reading Lets Us Understand Christ’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches”!

Many sell cures for “Confusion Headaches”:

“Use these legal (or illegal!) mind-altering drugs!  Exercise!  Eat organic food!  Take long walks!  Join my church!  Stop climate change!  Get a new house, spouse, and car!  Read my books!  Watch my TV shows!  Vote for my candidates!  See my movies!  Get a promotion!  Don’t Be Catholic!  Take a vacation!  Make this profitable investment!  Buy my jewelry!  Learn how to get people to do what you want!”

Many ignore God’s cure for “Confusion Headaches” that begins Today’s Catholic Bible Reading, 1 John 2:3-11:

“Beloved:  The way we may be sure that we know Jesus is to keep His commandments.  Whoever says ‘I know Him’ but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

Catholics are blessed to read that Bible Passage and know:  “Jesus Christ’s Cure for ‘Confusion Headaches’ comes from obeying the ‘truth’ of the Church-Creating ‘commandment’ from He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Being Catholic cures “Confusion Headaches” by having “the truth” of that “commandment” living in us because Jesus taught us:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Catholics connect John with Jesus and “life” with “truth”.  We know that Jesus is “Life and Truth” and that He left One Church to provide His Actual Body and Blood so that His “Truth” could literally be “life (and truth!) in us.

Catholics do not hate those who do not believe Jesus has The Power to let His Catholic priests preside over The Miracle of Transubstantiation that provides His Actual Body and Blood from bread and wine.

We realize that many are led to think Jesus was a “liar” about that!   We pray they will be blessed to cure that “Confusion Headache” by realizing:  “Whoever says he is in the light, yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness.”

Catholics believe that those who keep others from “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” may not realize how they harm their brothers’ immortal souls.   May all strive to have our souls be blessed with the Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession and Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders.

St. Faustina shares a Catholic Secret that saves many souls!  Some of us may have time, in our final hours, to ask God to forgive us for not being as Catholic as we could.  May every person on earth be blessed to plan on doing seeking God’s mercy:  May all be blessed to plead with God to forgive us in our final hours!

Chapter 66

Chapter 66: Amazing! Avoiding St. John Can Be A Cure For “Confusion Headaches”!

Christians respect St. John for being Christ’s specifically “beloved disciple” (John 13:23, 19:26, 20:2, 21:7, 21:20).

In 1 John 2:4, he teaches: “Whoever says ‘I know Him’, but does not keep His Word is a liar and the truth is not in him.”  Those who see that they want to avoid that Bible Teaching are blessed to be on the way to Be Catholic!

Today’s Reading, 1 John 2:12-17, also guides us to love God more than ourselves.

“I write to you, children, because your sins have been forgiven for His Name’s sake.

I write to you, fathers, because you know Him Who Is from the beginning. (Refers both to “fathers” and to Catholic priests known by that name.)

I write to you, young men, because you have conquered the Evil One.  (They pray hard to Be Catholic.)

I write to you, children, because you know the Father.

I write to you, fathers, because you know Him Who Is from the beginning. (That is what leads many to become loving “fathers” as they become “beginnings”!)

I write to you, young men, because you are strong and the word of God remains in you, and you have conquered the Evil One.  (By being as obedient to God as we can.)

“Do not love the world or the things of the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of The Father is not in him.”  (Catholics are blessed to receive Catholic Communion and have God “in” us!)

What is the awful fate of those who choose not to love God enough?

“If anyone loves the world, the love of The Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, sensual lust, enticement for the eyes, and a pretentious life, is not from The Father but is from the world.”

Then, the “beloved Disciple” shares his Prophecy!  “Yet the world and its enticement are passing away.  But, whoever does the will of God remains forever.”

May all be blessed to read That Prophecy of St. John and see how important it is to obey The Church-Creating Word of The Son and Be as Catholic as we can!

Chapter 67

Chapter 67: On the Last Day of the Year, This Catholic Reading Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

This is the Last Day of 2025 and the First Day of the rest of our lives.

So, Today’s Catholic Reading from 1 John 2:18-21 tells us:  “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now, many antichrists have appeared.  Thus, we know this is the last hour.”

John tells us how to identify “antichrists”“They went out from us, but they were really not of our number; if they had been they would have remained with us.”

Judas was the first “antichrist” who “went out from” the Catholic Church.

Today’s Catholic “Alleluia” from John 1:12, 14 helps us understand 2,000 of the preceding millennia of Human History in Our Loving Creator’s Creation that was brought into being over 13.8 billion years ago:

“The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us.”

Catholic Communion is God’s Ongoing Miracle.   “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

But, “To those who accepted Him, He gave power to become the children of God.”

Catholics understand that the sanctifying grace of the Sacraments helps us become “Children of God”.

That spiritual transformation comes from being blessed with the Faith in God and His sanctifying grace.  All who are validly baptized receive sanctifying grace (cf. CCC 1265–1266), and Catholics are called to nurture that grace through the Sacraments, growing as “children of God”. God’s grace also works beyond the visible Church in ways known to Him (cf. CCC 1260).

Chapter 68

Chapter 68: Catholics Cure “Confusion Headaches” by Looking at Prophecies AND Numbers!

We may see how close God’s Prophets are to God by seeing how often hundreds of Bible Prophecies have come true.  Catholics are blessed to see The Prophecy of Mary from Luke 1:48: “all generations will call me blessed”.

Today, there are about 1.4 billion Catholics on earth.  Many Catholics cure their “Confusion Headaches” by praying the Rosary regularly.  Some say a Rosary every month, week, or day.  Some say a Rosary every hour!

Every Rosary includes 53 repetitions of “Hail (Mary), full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.  Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.”  For nearly 2,000 years, Catholics have called Mary “blessed” through Marian prayers, including the Holy Rosary for over 800 years.

Catholics correctly conclude:  The Blessed Mother of God is not only the “Queen of Heaven”, but also, “The Queen of Prophets”!

No wonder Catholics are blessed to cure “Confusion Headaches” by Being Catholic!  We are uniquely blessed to both see and be living fulfillments of The Prophecy of Mary:  “all generations will call me blessed.”

~

Chapter 69

Chapter 69: Mary Saves Catholics from the “Confusion Headache” That Is Hell

The first day of 2026 began with a renewed appreciation from catholicfundamentalism.com for a traditional Marian title from the Litany of Loreto:

“Those who honor Mary may come to see that she is ‘The Queen of Prophets’ — a title the Church has long honored in the Litany of Loreto.  Catholics believe that honoring Mary leads souls toward the fullness of the faith.”

“The Blessed Virgin Mary IS ‘The Queen of Prophets’!”

This New Year, 2026, begins the last ten years before the 2,000th Anniversary of The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Spoken Into Being by He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics are blessed to live by the Church-Creating Word of Jesus. We are blessed to begin to see that Mary’s Prophecy is enough to let anyone Be Catholic!

Mary’s Prophecy, Luke 1:48, records her exact Words: “all generations will call me blessed”.  Every Catholic fulfills that Prophecy of Mary every time we repeat: “blessed art thou among women” on each bead of all the Rosaries that have ever been said!

Yesterday’s Daily Post was “Catholics cure “Confusion Headaches” by looking at Prophecies AND Numbers! #68.”  We see that Mary’s Prophecy has been fulfilled countless times by the world’s 1.4 billion Rosary-saying Catholics!

May lapsed Catholics be blessed to understand The Miracle of Mary’s Prophecy, go to the nearest Catholic priest, make a Good Confession, seek forgiveness, recognizing what may have led them away from The Church, receive Absolution, and Be as Catholic as they can.  Quickly!

May anti-Catholics see the truth of Mary’s Prophecy and be blessed to get the necessary instruction to Be Catholic, now!  (An added benefit:  By receiving Catholic Communion, they will also receive the Blessing Jesus emphasized throughout John 6: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”!)

May all be blessed to follow Our Loving Creator’s Instructions while we have time left in His Creation to do so!

May all be blessed to read and share “The Prophecy of Mary”!

~

Chapter 70: ”One Bead / Is All We Need!” to Start Curing “Confusion Headaches”!

Catholics understand The Prophecy of Mary as a Bible Prophecy fulfilled daily by many of the 1.4 billion Catholics on earth who say one bead of The Holy Rosary!

All may be saved by considering the angelic and prophetic greetings that led to The Prophecy of Mary, from 2,000 years ago in Luke 1:28 and Luke 1:42, when The Archangel Gabriel and then Elizabeth spoke these words:

“Hail (Mary),  full of grace, The Lord is with you.  Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.”

Catholics believe:  Since Mary was “full of grace”, she was preserved from sin (cf. CCC 491)!  Throughout history, some have questioned Mary’s unique role. Catholics see in this a pattern that contributed to differing views on her place in salvation history.

Mary’s reply to Elizabeth, the Mother of John the Baptist, tells every Bible-reading person The Prophecy of Mary in Luke 1:48“all generations will call me blessed.”

Catholics are the most blessed people on earth!  Every Catholic who reverently repeats one of the 53 Rosary Beads fulfills The Prophecy of Mary by being blessed to say: “Hail Mary, full of Grace, The Lord is with You.  Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.”

No wonder God loves Catholics enough to give us “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies gave to His First Catholic Pope!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”!

May every person on earth be blessed to obey His Only Church-Creating Decree and get the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus died to leave to His First Catholic Pope for our immortal souls!

~

Chapter 71

Chapter 71: Wow! Catholics See How Prophecies Cure “Confusion Headaches”!

Mankind’s “Confusion Headache” began when Adam and Eve decided:  “We know more than God about what is best for us!” and ate “the forbidden fruit”.

That “Confusion Headache” has kept people from the obedience to The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies that saves billions of Catholic souls:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

For 2,000 years, many descendants of Adam and Eve have not accepted That Word of God by saying: “We know more than God about what is best for us!”

Much wrongdoing on earth has been the result of that short-sighted vanity.  It allows people to choose to avoid acknowledging that God is Real and should be obeyed.

Catholics believe:  We are Our Loving Creator’s beloved “children, made in His image,”.  We, who are “made in the image of God” are the reason Our Loving Creator brought forth His Creation over 13.8 billion years ago.  We, by His grace, may obey God and have our immortal souls in Heaven, forever!

God blessed Catholics to know Him through the Prophecies.  King Herod personifies every mind suffering from “Confusion Headaches”.  He knew enough to discover where God would take Human Form by reading the words of the chief priests drawn from Micah’s Prophecy (Matthew 2:5-6):

(Prophecy #1) “And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; (#2) since from you shall come a ruler, Who is to shepherd My people Israel.

That allowed these Prophecies of Isaiah 60:1-6 to come true!  (Prophecy #3) “Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem!  (#4) Your light has come, the glory of The Lord shines upon you. (#5) “See, darkness covers the earth, and thick clouds cover the peoples (#6) but upon you The Lord shines, and over you appears His glory.  (#7) Nations shall walk by Your light, and kings by Your shining radiance.  (#8) Raise your eyes and look about; (#9) they all gather and come to You:  Your sons come from afar and Your daughters in the arms of their nurses.

“(#10) Then you shall be radiant at what you see, your heart shall throb and overflow, (#11) for the riches of the sea shall be emptied out before you, (#12) the wealth of nations shall be brought to you,  (#13) Caravans of camels shall fill you, dromedaries from Midian and Ephah; all from Sheba will come, bearing (#14) gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of The Lord.”

More Prophecies come true in Today’s Psalm 72:1-2,7-13! The responsorial antiphon proclaims: (#15) “Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.”

Catholics are blessed to cure our “Confusion Headaches” by seeing how Prophecies become Truth and remove confusing vanities from our minds.

~

Chapter 72

Chapter 72: Today’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches” Is from “The Most Beloved Disciple”!

The Bible tells us that all may have our “Confusion Headaches” cured by being among God’s “beloved people”Beloved:  We receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do what pleases Him.”

May all be blessed to know how “keeping His commandments” cures our “Confusion Headaches” by receiving Catholic Communion:

“And His commandment is this:  we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another just as He commanded us.  Those who keep His commandments remain in Him, and He in them, …”

Catholics understand that the “most beloved Disciple” (John 13:23, 19:26, 21:7, 20) is telling us that Catholic Communion allows us to “remain in Him, and He in them”.  That connects us to what Jesus taught us in John 6 and again at The Last Supper:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

That Catholic Communion cures “Confusion Headaches” is repeated“and the way we know that He remains in us (again, Catholic Communion!)  is from The Spirit Whom He gave us.”

“The Spirit” connects Catholics with The Son’s Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” (Mt.16:18-19)

We are warned to Be Catholic and Stay Catholic“Beloved, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

The “Confusion Headaches” with which “false prophets” infect us are cured by realizing and living God’s Word to us:

“This is how you can know The Spirit of God:  every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ came in the flesh belongs to God, and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus does not belong to God.”

Then, John describes those who have cured “Confusion Headaches” by receiving Catholic Communion!

“You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them, for The One Who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

What about those who let ourselves be too confused to Be Catholic and have God literally “in” us by the Miracle of Catholic Communion?

“They belong to the world;  accordingly, their teaching belongs to the world, and the world listens to them.”

The most “beloved” of the First Catholic Bishops makes The Blessing of Being Catholic clear!

We belong to God, and anyone who knows God listens to us, while anyone who does not belong to God refuses to hear us.  This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.”

May we love our blessed neighbors enough to pray for those whose “Confusion Headaches” lead them to think “I know more than Jesus and His Disciples about getting into Heaven.”

~

Chapter 73

Chapter 73: The Body And Blood Of Jesus Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

Today, 1/6/2026, our Daily Reading shows the joy of Being Catholic and the loveless despair in which we otherwise would live.

1 John 4:7-10 lets Catholics be smart enough to know how blessed we are to be among God’s children:  “Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God;  everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God.”

We are blessed to “know God” well enough to be in The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope, “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics understand that those who do not accept God’s Love may not recognize Christ’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church: “Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.”

Catholics are blessed to acknowledge Christ’s Call to Catholic Communion in this passage.  “In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him.”

By receiving The Body and Blood of Christ by the Miracle of Transubstantiation at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper, Catholics are included among those who find God’s “life” in us:

“In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.”

The Miracle of Catholic Communion provides The Body and Blood of Jesus to 1.4 billion Catholics.  It was predicted in Today’s Gospel from Mark 6:34-44, when 5,000 men and their thousands of wives and children were fed by “five loaves and two fishes”!

At every Catholic Mass, 1.4 billion Catholics around the world may obey His Call to Catholic Communion that He emphasized throughout John 6: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

~

Chapter 74

Chapter 74: Again, John’s Cure For “Confusion Headaches” Is Catholic Communion!

1 John 4:11-18 lets many see a new reason to Be Catholic!

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another.  No one has ever seen God.  Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is brought to perfection in us.”

Catholics are blessed to see That Word of God and believe these things truly occur:  (1.) “God remains in us” when we receive Catholic Communion!  (2.)  We see that “His love is brought to perfection in us”!

That Holy Call to Catholic Communion continues:  (3.) “This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us, that He has given us of his Spirit.”

Catholics see this and know that Christ is truly present in The Holy Nourishment that is Catholic Communion.  We take that to a higher level:  (4.) “Moreover, we have seen and testify that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world.”

We see the importance of Catholic Communion again:  (5.) “Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God.  We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us.”

The vital necessity of Catholic Communion is repeated (6.)  “God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.”

Catholics realize the Literal Truth: (7.) “In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as He is, so are we in this world.”

As a result, we pray that God will bless us with the Faith to not “fear” the enemies of God.  They hate for any soul to be blessed enough to “testify” about Catholic Communion because:  (8.) “There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love.”

May we all be blessed with the “faith” to not “fear” to give Catholic “testimony” because: (8.) sends us back to (1.)  “His love is brought to perfection in us.”

The immortal souls of those who do not “fear” to “testify” for Every Word of Jesus, including the call to Catholic Communion He emphasized throughout John 6:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”, are blessed with the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies gave to His First Catholic Pope!

Chapter 75

Chapter 75: Catholics Cure “Confusion Headaches” With A “New Idea”: “Die Catholic!”

Every person is blessed with a mind able to consider the heavenly rewards that await those who persevere in the faith and Be Catholic:

1. Catholics believe that when a soul goes to Heaven, its reward is the Beatific Vision — seeing God face to face for all eternity, a joy beyond all earthly measure!

2. Every person who helps people Be Catholic stores up treasure in Heaven (Mt 6:20) for the soul of every child, grandchild, and descendant who Dies Catholic because of their efforts.

3. Every Catholic priest, religious, and pro-family person who has encouraged beloved neighbors to ‘Live Catholic’ receives the crown of righteousness (2 Tim 4:8) for every soul they have helped to ‘Die Catholic!’  They will share in the eternal joy of all those whom they helped bring to Christ!”

TODAY, Catholics consider our Blessed Daily Reading from Luke 4:14-22.  We see that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies tells us Who He Is and Why He is here:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring glad tidings to the poor.”  Most Catholics on earth know:  “I am poor!”  We ask:  “Do His ‘glad tidings’ include something greater than any earthly treasure if I ‘Die Catholic’?”

The answer is:  “Yes!”  He Who Fulfilled many Prophecies about the time and place of His Coming told us what God has done:

He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.”

All people may recognize:  “I am so ‘captive’ to earthly concerns! Can I ‘see’ how to be ‘free’ from that sort of ‘oppression’, and get ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus gave to His First Catholic Pope?”

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Everyone on earth can know!  “This moment is in ‘a year acceptable to The Lord’.  I have time to get ready to ‘Die Catholic!’

As Jesus told St. Faustina (Diary, #1507):  “But, poor is the soul who has shut the door on God’s mercy, even at the last hour.”  Those who refuse His mercy risk losing eternal joy, though we trust in God’s justice and compassion.

May all be blessed to honor God, His Prophets, and His Son so we may be eternally blessed to persevere in the faith and: “Die Catholic!”

Chapter 76

Chapter 76: How Does Living In Order To “Die Catholic” Cure “Confusion Headaches”?

Worldly concerns keep many people from understanding 1 John 5:5-13“Beloved:  Who indeed is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is The Son of God?”

Then, John tells us this about Jesus:  “This is The One Who came through water and Blood, Jesus Christ, not by water alone, but by water and Blood.”

“Water” symbolizes The Sacrament of Baptism in “The Name of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”  “Blood” reminds us of the “Blood” Jesus shed at His Crucifixion and the “Blood” provided in The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus emphasized throughout John 6:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Those who do not respect Jesus enough to receive That Holy Food may suffer from “Confusion Headaches” caused by their aching souls.  The Church teaches that persistent, knowing refusal of God’s grace has serious spiritual consequences, though God’s mercy extends beyond human understanding (cf. CCC 847, 1260).

May all believers realize that John tells us Catholics are blessed by The Holy Spirit“The Spirit is The One Who Testifies, and The Spirit is truth.  So, there are three who testify, The Spirit, the water, and The Blood, and the three are of one accord.”

John tells us who can Be Catholic!  “If we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is even greater.  Now the testimony of God is this, that He has testified on behalf of His Son.”

Those who are blessed to listen to The Holy Spirit know The Church-Creating “testimony” of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope is God’s Truth:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

What about those who accept that “testimony”?  By receiving Catholic Communion, “Whoever believes in The Son of God has this testimony within himself.” Is there a better reason to Be Catholic and receive the Body and “Blood” of Jesus Christ “within” us?

What about those who have not yet received that “testimony within”?  The Bible teaches:  “Whoever does not believe God has made Him a liar by not believing the testimony that God has given about His Son.”

Then, we are told again to be Catholic and receive Communion!  “And this is the testimony:  God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  Whoever possesses the Son has life;  whoever does not possess The Son of God does not have life.”

We pray that all will be blessed with at least a last-minute repentance for “not believing the testimony that God has given about His Son,” and be blessed to “Die Catholic”.

Chapter 77

Chapter 77: Today’s Bible Reading Is A Catholic Cure For “Confusion Headaches”!

Catholics see God’s cures for “Confusion Headaches” in Today’s Reading!  1 John 5:14-21 tells us:  “Beloved: We have this confidence in Him, that if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us.”

We also understand:  “And if we know that He hears us in regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked Him for is ours.”

Then, we read slowly and carefully:  “If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and He will give him life.”

History shows Catholics that every political group on earth embodies the desires of like-minded people.  Many are led by those who want to profit from the “deadly sins” of abortion, war, and destroying families with needless taxes and regulations.

Catholics see this as inconsistent with God’s Great Commandment: “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

Catholics are blessed:  “We know that anyone begotten by God does not sin; but the one begotten by God He protects, and the Evil One cannot touch him.”

Catholics find assurance in John’s words: “We know that we belong to God,” and recognize the world’s need for God’s grace.

Today’s Passage ends:  “Children, be on your guard against idols.”

An “idol” is anything that keeps us from living by The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope and getting “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” for our immortal souls!

~

Chapter 78

Chapter 78: The Prophet Isaiah Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

All who seek Truth from God may read The Prophecies of Isaiah, 42:1-4,6-7.  Catholics see how Jesus lets us become living fulfillments of God’s Prophecies!

“Thus says The Lord: ‘Here is My servant Whom I uphold,’” tells us that Jesus and all who seek to obey His Every Word are thereby God’s “servants”:

Jesus, and every Catholic, is:  “My chosen one, with Whom I am pleased (Those experiencing “Confusion Headaches” may not realize the importance of obeying Words of He Whom Isaiah Prophesied.) “upon Whom I have put My Spirit.” (The Holy Spirit!)

“He shall bring forth justice to the nations, not crying out, not shouting, not making His voice heard in the street.” (Catholics have a “new idea” about that Prophecy!  Jesus does not use “town-criers” or any government-approved media that is encouraged to be “heard in the street”.  They never tell people to listen to His voice” and Be Catholic!)

“A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoldering wick He shall not quench, until He establishes justice on the earth;  (He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies will speak God’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being with The Messiah’s Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope and “establish justice on the earth”:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’  Catholics get those “keys”, which include the authority to administer The Seven Catholic Sacraments!);

‘the coastlands will wait for His teaching.” (Catholics believe:  every place and person on earth is on the “coastland of Heaven”!)

Then, Jesus and every soul blessed to get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” are described:

“I, the LORD, have called you for the victory of justice, I have grasped you by the hand;  I formed you, and set you as a covenant of the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes of the blind, to bring out prisoners from confinement,
and from the dungeon, those who live in darkness.”  (Jesus, and every Catholic for the past 2,000 years who has encouraged our beloved neighbors to “Be Catholic!”, or, at least, try to “Die Catholic”, have been identified by The Prophet Isaiah!)

Mark 9:7 describes The Fulfillment of many Messianic Prophecies in Today’s “Alleluia”!

“A cloud came, overshadowing them, and from the cloud came a voice:  ‘This is My beloved Son, listen to Him!'”

“Listening” to Him well enough to Be Catholic IS God’s cure for “Confusion Headaches”!

~

Chapter 79

Chapter 79: The Holy Spirit’s Cure For “Confusion Headaches”: “Harden Not Your Hearts”

Catholics understand:  Over 13.8 billion years ago, Our Loving Creator began to bring forth His Creation.

The universe is God’s Test for our immortal soul:  Heb. 3:7-14, “The Holy Spirit says:  ‘Oh, that today you would hear His voice: Harden not your hearts as at the rebellion on the day of testing in the desert where your ancestors tested and tried Me and saw My works for forty years.”

Every person in every generation is “tested and tried” after seeing God’s works and the biblical “forty years” may symbolize the time it takes many to see The Reality & Purpose of Our Loving Creator’s vast and complicated “Creation”!

His Creation is here to let every soul be “tested and tried” to see which of us will, by God’s grace, obey The Command, “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”   The Bible describes the eternal fate of those who let vanity lead them to believe: “I am more important than Our Loving Creator and my neighbors!  May all be blessed to see God’s Promise of what happens to their souls!  “As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter into My rest.”

2,000 years ago, every person on earth was given a way to have our souls “enter into His rest”.  God took Human Form to fulfill the many Prophecies, including being “born in Bethlehem” (Micah 5:2)  of a “Virgin of The House of David” (Isaiah 7:14).  He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies told us how God wants us to think and live:  “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

May all be blessed to heed God’s Warning: “Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart, so as to forsake the Living God.”

May all be blessed to guide our lives by The Church that Jesus, “The Living God” in Human Form, died to leave on earth:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”, and be as Catholic as we can!

May we all be blessed to love God and our neighbors well enough to get those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” for our immortal souls by heeding: “If today you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts.”

~

Chapter 80

Chapter 80: “Confusion Headaches” Are Caused By “Unclean Spirits” That Keep Us From Jesus!

Mark 1:21-28 explains the “unclean spirits” that lead many to hate God and neighbor.  “Jesus came to Capernaum with His followers, and on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.  The people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, not as the scribes.”

The enemies of Faith and families are symbolized by this poor man:

“In their synagogue was a man with an unclean spirit.  He cried out, ‘What have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth?  Have You come to destroy us?  I know Who You are!  The Holy One of God!’”  Catholics see that “unclean spirits” recognize and oppose Jesus.

Jesus made His Power clear to all!  “Jesus rebuked him and said, ‘Quiet!  Come out of him!’  The unclean spirit convulsed the man and, with a loud cry, came out of him.”

We learn that “unclean spirits” have no choice but to obey Jesus!

“All were amazed and asked one another, ‘What is this?  A new teaching with authority.  He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.’”

The Bible tells of His Power over “unclean spirits”—the demonic forces that oppose God (cf. CCC 391–395).  Catholics also recognize the seven capital sins—pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth (cf. CCC 1866)—as the vices that open us to spiritual harm.

They keep many from The Church Spoken Into Being by He Who still sets people free from “unclean spirits” with the Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Chapter 81

Chapter 81: Today, Catholics Find One Word That Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

Today’s Catholic Reading, 1 Samuel 3:1-10, 19-20, begins with God calling Samuel to be His Prophet around 1050 BC.  “During the time young Samuel was minister to the LORD under Eli, a revelation of the LORD was uncommon and vision infrequent.”

God did not speak to many, but“One day Eli was asleep in his usual place…  The lamp of God was not yet extinguished, and Samuel was sleeping in the temple of The LORD where the ark of God wasThe LORD called to Samuel, who answered, “Here I am.”

Samuel thought Eli was calling him.  He awakened Eli and said, “Here I am.  You called me.”  The third time that happened, “Eli understood that God was calling Samuel, and told him to tell God, “Speak Lord, for Your servant is listening.”

Catholics see that Samuel, recognized through Eli’s discernment, became a Prophetic Predecessor to the priesthood of Christ and His Catholic Church.  “Samuel grew up, and The LORD was with him, not permitting any word of his to be without effect.  Thus, all Israel from Dan to Beersheba came to know that Samuel was an accredited prophet of The LORD.”

Being “accredited” separates false Prophets from those whom God has chosen.  Today, Catholic priests and religious are “accredited” by taking vows of Poverty, Celibacy, and Obedience.

Then, they are Ordained by Catholic Bishops.  Each of them is a “living link” in a Holy Chain that reaches back 2,000 years.  That is when He Who is “accredited” by having fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies Spoke His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being by saying to The First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

May all be blessed to understand the importance of being “accredited” by God before we go to His Judgment!

Catholics are blessed to most meaningfully obey the responsorial refrain inspired by Psalm 40: “Here I am Lord, I come to do Your will!”

Chapter 82

Chapter 82: God’s Prophets Let Us See History Well Enough to Cure “Confusion Headaches”

About 3,000 years ago, 1 Samuel 4:1-11 tells us the Philistines attacked Israel.

Catholics see these events as typological foreshadowings of the Church’s experience through history:

Catholic Reading #1:  “The Philistines said, ‘Gods have come to their camp.’  “Philistines” Catholics interpret as representing those who cannot tell the difference between “God” and the fallen angels they worship!  Samuel predicted what would happen for the next 700 years as their “camp” in Jerusalem was destroyed, their people moved to Babylon and would return to rebuild God’s Temple.

Catholic Reading #2:  “The Philistines said also, “Woe to us! This has never happened before (That we have attacked the People of God.). Woe to us!  Who can deliver us from the power of these mighty gods?”  They thought God’s angels who “struck the Egyptians with various plagues and with pestilence’ were “gods”, like the fallen angels they worshipped.  “Take courage and be manly, Philistines; otherwise you will become slaves to the Hebrews, as they were your slaves.  So fight manfully!” against the People of God.

Catholic Reading #3:  ‘The Philistines fought, and Israel was defeated;  every man fled to his own tent.”  Catholics see in this a lesson about the consequences of division and disobedience to God.  When people turn from God’s plan, they scatter into their own ways rather than remaining united in the faith He established.

Catholic Reading #4:  Today’s Psalm 44:10,11,14,15,24,25 are Prophecies of what God would let those who opposed His Church, symbolized as “Philistines”, do to Catholics when His People disobeyed:  “Yet now You have cast us off and put us in disgrace… You have let us be driven back by our foes;  those who hated us and plundered us at will… You have made us the reproach of our neighbors, the mockery and scorn of those around us… a laughingstock among the peoples… our souls are bowed down to the dust, our bodies pressed against the earth…”  and still we pray: “Redeem us, Lord, because of Your mercy.”

Catholics see those represented by “Philistines” as symbolizing opposition to The Body of Christ throughout history:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics find Salvation in Catholic Reading #5 from Matthew 4:23 “Jesus preached the Gospel of The Kingdom and cured every disease among the people.”  For 2,000 years, His Church has provided Seven Catholic Sacraments to “cure” the “Confusion Headaches” of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth that infect those who deny The Bible’s Words of He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies.

~

Chapter 83

Chapter 83: God Told Samuel: “Let the ‘Confusion Headaches’ Begin!”

1 Samuel 8:4-7, 10-22 tells us how God let His People have the “Confusion Headaches” they requested over 3,000 years ago!

“All the elders of Israel came in a body to Samuel at Ramah and said to him, ‘Now that you are old, and your sons do not follow your example, appoint a king over us, as other nations have.'”

Samuel gave them This Prophecy: “The king who will rule you will take your sons and assign them to his chariots and horses… appoint from them commanders of groups… set them to do his plowing and harvesting… making his implements of war… use your daughters as ointment makers, cooks, and bakers… Kings will take the best of your fields, vineyards, and olive groves and give them to his officials… tax your crops and vineyards, and give the revenue to his eunuchs and his slaves.  He will take your servants, your best oxen, and asses and use them to do his work… He will tithe your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves… When this takes place, you will complain against the king whom you have chosen, but on that day The LORD will not answer you.”

The “elders” thought they knew more than God and His Prophet!  “Not so!  There must be a king over us.  We too must be like other nations, with a king to rule us and to lead us in warfare and fight our battles.”

God told Samuel:  “Grant their request and appoint a king to rule them.”

Their “Confusion Headaches” began when God “granted their request”.  No longer would they be responsible for saving themselves by dealing directly with God.  They would rather be “slaves” than do that harder work!

After a thousand years of “Confusion Headaches”, The Prophesied Messiah came as God’s cure.  He would let Psalm 89:16-19 come true for billions of Catholics:  “Forever I will sing the goodness of The Lord for to The LORD belongs our shield, and to the holy one of Israel (not Judah alone!), our King.”

In the centuries after Moses, the “Twelve Tribes of Israel” were scattered through exile and diaspora, yet God preserved the line of David through all those generations so that His Prophecies would be fulfilled.

A thousand years later, Jesus fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies by being “born of a Virgin of the House of David” (Isaiah 7:14), “in the tiny village of Bethlehem” (Micah 5:2).  Then, God gave us His cure for “Confusion Headaches” by bringing His Word to earth in Human Form.

Many of God’s people were blessed to obey The Prophesied Messiah’s Command:  “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

Those who were most respectful of He Whom the Prophets predicted would gratefully obey His Church-Creating Decree to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

May all be blessed to love God and their neighbors enough to Be Catholic!  May we be blessed to get, and encourage our neighbors to attain, the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.  Those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” include the authority to administer The Seven Catholic Sacraments!

~

Chapter 84

Chapter 84: Curing “Confusion Headaches” by Thinking About Them

Happiness begins by curing our “Confusion Headaches”.  We begin by putting ourselves in proper perspective:

1. Catholics understand modern science as consistent with faith: Our Loving Creator brought forth His Creation approximately 13.8 billion years ago.

2. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, God began to create His beloved human beings who were “made in His Image”.  Each of us is one of God’s miraculously complicated “children, made in His image.”

3. He provided priests and prophets, like Melchizedek, priest of God Most High, and the Prophets of Israel, to guide people toward God as their families grew into Tribes and Nations.

4.  God took on Human Form to fulfill many Messianic Prophecies that He guided the most blessed of Abraham’s family to put in writing.

5.  The Prophesied Messiah Spoke One Church Into Being to let human beings, made in His image, from every Family, Tribe, and Nation on earth be blessed by His grace to Be Catholic.

6. They are blessed to believe The Prophesied Messiah’s Church-Creating Decree to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

7.  Those blessed to understand that will honor His Church and respect His Saints.  We guide our thoughts, words, and deeds by obeying This Teaching: “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

Many would rather suffer from the unhappiness of “Confusion Headaches” that keep many souls from leaving their human bodies with “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

Those “keys” that Jesus died to leave on earth include the Seven Catholic Sacraments, Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders.

What more does anyone need to know?

~

Chapter 85

Chapter 85: Isaiah’s Cure for “Confusion Headaches” Is Doing Our “Catholic Job”!

How does Isaiah 49:3-6 cure “Confusion Headaches” for Catholics?  God gives us the same Holy Work to do that He gave to the Prophet Isaiah!  “The Lord said to me:  ‘You are My servant, Israel, through whom I show My glory.'”

Our “Catholic Job” is to be a “servant” of God!  We are to show “His glory” through our obedience.  One of our “Catholic Jobs” is to memorize and share The Church-Creating Decree of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics know that our job is to show our neighbors they can get “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” by being as Catholic as we can, even if they have been taught to dislike the Catholic Church by clergy who have chosen different forms of religious commitment than Holy Vows of Poverty, Obedience, and Celibacy.

We share Catholic understanding:  “The Word of God took Human Form when Jesus Christ was ‘born in Bethlehem’ (Micah 5:2), and fulfilled many other Prophecies about Him and His Blessed Mother, the ‘Virgin from the House of David’ (Isaiah 7:14).”

Do Catholics get “paid” for “doing our job” at “God’s Payday”?

Holy Vows of Poverty, Celibacy, and Obedience make Our Catholic priests and religious the most Highly Paid People in Our Loving Creator’s Creation!  They get God’s equivalent of trillions of earthly dollars at “Heaven’s Payday” when they are rewarded for every Catholic soul they blessed to get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”!

An inadequate description of doing our Catholic Job:  “Every person we help to find The Catholic Church puts us far ahead of earth’s mere billionaires”. Many of them may face God’s judgment for participating in “complex frauds” that impoverished the neighbors they refused to love.  God uses the fate of self-centered billionaires to help Catholics see why we should “Be Catholic”!

When we obey The Prophesied Messiah’s Command:  “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves,” we let others know that the most important thing anyone can do on earth is to get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” for our immortal soul.

We may help our beloved neighbors save their souls by reminding them when we can, “Focus on the Catholic ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’!  Be as Catholic as you can!”

~

Chapter 86

Chapter 86: One Sentence From Psalm 40: 8-9 Cures “Confusion Headaches”!

When we say “Here I am, Lord.  I come to do Your will.” from the responsorial refrain inspired by Psalm 40, we may be blessed to take the next step in Today’s Psalm 50: 8-23 and remove more demons of confusion:  “To the upright I will show the saving power of God.”

Catholics are blessed to realize:  The opposite of “upright” is “downwrong”.

Catholics cure our “Confusion Headaches” by seeing what God did to King Saul! He was anointed by The Prophet Samuel to be the first King of Israel.  He lost his Kingdom because he “cast God’s Words behind him”!  Instead of obeying God’s Order to “put the Amalekites under a ban of destruction”, Saul let his soldiers keep “their best sheep and oxen for sacrifice” so they would not have to give God their own.

God had Samuel tell Saul, and every person on earth, regardless of the size of our “kingdom” “Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission better than the fat of rams… Because you have rejected the command of the LORD, He, too, has rejected you as ruler.”

May we be blessed to ask ourselves God’s Question and see if we are “upright”:  “Why do you recite my statutes, and profess My covenant with your mouth, though you hate discipline and cast My words behind you?”

~

Catholics are blessed to be so “upright” that we do not “cast” The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies “behind us”:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Today’s Gospel from Mark 2:18-22 is a Prophecy of Jesus that comes true when decaying denominations disobey Jesus.  “No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak. If he does, its fullness pulls away the new from the old, and the tear gets worse.”

Can anyone think of a better reason than what happened to Saul to “Be Catholic!” and drink the “new wine” of Christ’s Blood by God’s Miracle of Transubstantiation at every Catholic Communion in the “new wineskin” that is God’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church?

Catholics observe “the tear gets worse” in various groups between Germany and Minnesota that have adopted different positions on matters like abortion, artificial birth control, divorce, and remarriage.

Chapter 87

Chapter 87: “The Hidden Prophecy Of Samuel” Has Been Curing Catholics’ “Confusion Headaches” For 2,000 Years!

The Bible is a record of Our Loving Creator calling His “Chosen People”.  Catholics are blessed to see that His Creation began to be brought into being over 13.8 billion years ago when God said, “Let there be light, and there was light!”

Catholics are blessed to have seen, respected, and obeyed The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Those blessed to Be Catholic are then given the greatest gift on earth!  “I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics see how That Bible Teaching fulfills The Hidden Prophecy of Samuel, 3,000 years ago!

The Hidden Prophecy in 1 Samuel 16:1-13 lets us know: “Catholics, like David, are chosen by God!”  May all be as blessed as David to answer His call, become Catholic, and receive God’s Seven Catholic Sacraments, which are among ‘The keys to The Kingdom of Heaven!”

~

Catholics see The Hidden Prophecy when “The LORD said to Samuel:  ‘How long will you grieve for Saul, whom I have rejected as King of Israel?  Fill your horn with oil, and be on your way.  I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have chosen My King from among his sons.”

Catholics are blessed to strive for Samuel’s Obedience to God’s Word! “Samuel did as The LORD had commanded him.”

One of Jesse’s sons was chosen by God.  “Only the youngest, who was still tending the sheep, was ruddy, a youth handsome to behold and making a splendid appearance, was chosen by God Who said:  “There!  Anoint him, for this is he!”

This is “The Hidden Prophecy of Samuel” that Catholics see!  Catholics believe that God chose David to begin The House of David from which Mary would descend.  Her obedience to God is what let Jesus come to earth and let us obey The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus emphasized throughout John 6:   “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

God knew that one of David’s blessed descendants, a thousand years later, would also be “Chosen by God” to bring His Son, The Word of God” (John 1:1), to earth in Human Form.

Catholics know “The Hidden Prophecy of Samuel” predicted that The Mother of God from “The House of David” would be announced by God’s Archangel Gabriel in Luke 1:28 and Elizabeth in Luke 1:42 “Hail (Mary), full of grace, the Lord is with thee.  Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus!”

Catholics have recognized The Hidden Prophecy of Samuel with the 53 beads of every Rosary for centuries by saying “Hail Mary, full of grace, The Lord is with you.”

Samuel, David, Mary, The Catholic Church, and we who receive His Actual Body and Blood in every Catholic Communion are living manifestations of “The Hidden Prophecy of Samuel”!

Chapter 88

Chapter 88: Catholics See How David Cured Goliath’s “Confusion Headache”

Catholics learn God’s truths from David, Saul, and Goliath.  They represent three kinds of people on earth in Today’s Catholic Reading from passages in 1 Samuel 17:1-51, 3,000 years ago.

1. We know David’s lineage was “Blessed” because his descendant, Mary, would be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit a thousand years later and give Birth to The Son of God in fulfillment of many Prophecies.  David told Saul:  “I am at your service to go and fight this Philistine… The Lord, Who delivered me from the claws of the lion and the bear, will also keep me safe from the clutches of this Philistine.”

Catholics know that we are “safe from the clutches of every Philistine” because our souls have been blessed by sanctifying grace to let us become “Children of God” by obeying The Church-Creating Word of David’s Descendant, Jesus, to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

We thereby receive The Seven Catholic Sacraments that are God’s gifts of grace:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders.

2. Saul represents the nature of those who are blessed to believe in the God they do not love and trust enough to obey as much as they could.  He symbolized the “Confusion Headache” of those who may give in to the demands of earthly rulers when he told David:  “You cannot go against this Philistine!”

3. Goliath symbolizes the corrupted nature that takes form in every human evil.  “The Philistine cursed David with his gods.”  Catholics understand that Goliaths in every age follow fallen angels who have convinced their followers that they are “gods” who “curse” those who meaningfully follow God.

Catholics know more than that!  Goliath was between 7 and 9 feet tall, wore 120 pounds of expensive armor, had a huge “spear”, and a sword.  His “shield-bearer” carried a costly shield.  He may have had, in today’s money, over $50,000.00 worth of expensive, hand-made equipment.

David had a sling that cost a dollar and “five smooth stones”.  He cured Goliath’s “Confusion Headache” with one of them.

David is every Catholic who obeys God well enough to stand and fight for Truth, despite the earthly odds and awful gods of the Philistines against us.

Catholics understand from Today’s Bible Reading:  “It only takes one stone” to keep Goliath from overwhelming us, and that “one stone” is:  “Be as Catholic as you can!”

Chapter 89

Chapter 89: Today, Catholic Prayers Cure The Worst “Confusion Headache” In The World

Abraham’s lineage was blessed with its most God-Obeying form in David.  His faith in God led him to save his people from “Goliath”, who was a giant among those who hated God and their neighbors.

After the victory that saved them from being raped, slaughtered, and enslaved by the Philistines, “The women of Israel came out from each of the cities of Israel to meet King Saul, singing, dancing, with tambourines, joyful songs… The women played and sang:  “Saul has slain his thousands and David his ten thousands!” (1 Samuel 18:6-9; 19:1-7)

Their praise of David enraged Saul! “Saul was very angry and resentful of the song, for he thought:  ‘They give David ‘ten thousands’, but only ‘thousands to me‘.  All that remains for him is the kingship.’ And from that day on, Saul was jealous of David.  Saul discussed his intention of killing David with his son Jonathan and with all his servants.”

Saul’s son, Jonathan, was blessed with enough of Abraham’s “blessed heritage” to make peace between Saul and David:  “David has helped you very much by his deeds.  When he took his life in his hands and slew the Philistine, and the LORD brought about a great victory for all Israel through him, you were glad to see it.  Why, then, should you become guilty of shedding innocent blood by killing David without cause?”

Why is that Bible Reading in the Catholic “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children”?   It challenges the “Confusion Headache” that may lead some  to believe: “It is all right to shed the ‘innocent blood’ of unborn children.”

Catholics Connect the Old and New Testaments well enough to understand why Today’s Gospel Reading (Mark 3:7-12) ends with:  “Whenever unclean spirits saw Jesus, they would fall down before Him and shout, ‘You are The Son of God!”

Those “unclean spirits” wanted the jealousy that made Saul want to kill David inspire established religions to kill Jesus before He could speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies knew that “unclean spirits” were trying to provoke the demonic jealousy that led Saul to want to kill David.  So, Jesus “warned them sternly not to make Him known.”

Those who understand are blessed to reach this conclusion!  “If ‘unclean spirits’ obey Jesus, then I am going to ‘Be as Catholic as I can!’  I will join in God’s blessed ‘Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children’!”

Chapter 90

Chapter 90: Proof That God Cures the Worst “Confusion Headaches”

Today’s Reading, 1 Samuel 24:3-21, tells us that Saul was led to find and kill David.

Catholics can see why:  Those with high positions in King Saul’s Court knew:  “The only way we can keep our jobs is to keep Saul as King.  We must get him to kill David!”

They convinced Saul to choose “three thousand picked men from all Israel” to show nationwide support for killing David.

During the search, “Saul went to relieve himself” in a cave where David and his men were hiding. David did not kill him, despite the urging of his followers.  But, he did “cut off a piece of his mantle”.  He followed Saul out of the cave, and showed him the “piece of mantle”, proving he could have killed him in the “cave”.

The nature of many high-ranking bureaucrats is made clear!  “From the wicked comes forth wickedness.”  The followers of both Saul and David wanted their leaders to kill the other.  But David respected Saul because God had chosen him as King.

Saul then prayed that David would be King! “May the LORD reward you generously for what you have done this day.  And now, I know that you shall surely be King, and that sovereignty over Israel shall come into your possession.”

Catholics Understand The Hidden Lesson in The Fire That Was Not Lighted!  Saul could have ordered his “3,000 picked men” to force David and his handful of followers back into the cave, piled up wood, lit a huge fire, and suffocated all of them.

Just as David did not kill Saul, Saul did not kill David.

The Power of God is always at work on behalf of those He chooses to bless.

Chapter 91

Chapter 91: How Catholics Cure The “Confusion Headache” Of Being “Out Of Our Mind”

The first people to say “Catholics are insane!” are identified in Mark 3:20-21.  It is the shortest Daily Catholic Gospel Reading many Catholics have ever seen!  Catholics see God’s Word as presenting Two Paths:

“Jesus came with His disciples into the house.  Again, the crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat.  When His relatives (symbolizing the most worldly people among the Twelve Tribes of Israel) heard of this, they set out to seize Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.

That Passage is introduced by another short reading from Acts 16:14, with the liturgical antiphon: “Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the words of Your Son.”

The Two Readings give Two Choices to every person on earth!  We can either “listen to The Words of God’s Son“, OR we may reject The Church-Creating Word of “God’s Son” to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Pride causes the world’s worst “Confusion Headaches”.  It takes form by embracing the belief:  “I know more about some things than Jesus!”   That keeps many from realizing that God Is So Powerful that His Son could Speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Perfect, Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Some may find it easier to dismiss the faith than to accept its demands.   “The Prophesied Messiah is ‘out of His mind.” rather than Be Catholic and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

And, those who oppose the faith may not realize how much they compliment us when they say:  “Catholics are ‘out of their minds‘!” because we are in “His Mind”.

May all be blessed to understand “Our Loving Creator brought forth His Creation over 13.8 billion years ago so that every person on Earth, each one of us a Living Miracle of God’s Creation, might be blessed by His grace to know Him and “Be Catholic” and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

The most anti-Catholic people and groups on earth will be the most successful if they ask God to bless them enough to “Be Catholic”.  As St. Faustina teaches:  “The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy.” (723)

~

Chapter 92

Chapter 92: Again, Jesus Gives the Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”

Today’s Reading tells us that Catholics live where Jesus predicted we would!  Isaiah 8:23-9:3 gave a History lesson and a Prophecy when he said,

“First, the Lord degraded the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the end He has glorified the seaward road… Anguish has taken wing, darkness is dispelled, for there is no gloom… The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”

Isaiah’s Prophecy about Jesus appearing in those lands repeats an earlier Prophecy in Psalm 27:1,4,13-14, “The Lord is my light and my salvation.”  Today, we see what we should do with our lives:  “One thing I ask of the LORD;  this I seek:  To dwell in the House of the LORD all the days of my life.”

The Prophet and the Psalmist are telling us to “Be Catholic!”, obey The Church-Creating Word of The Prophesied Messiah to His First Catholic Pope, get the  “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” so that our immortal soul can “dwell in the house of The LORD all the days of my life”!

Catholics are blessed with the humility to let God’s Prophets and Psalms lead us to be forever among:  “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”  May all be blessed to Be Catholic and have our souls live forever in God’s “great light”!

God’s most Blessed People seek to please God rather than themselves.  We want our souls to go to Judgment in obedience to 1 Corinthians 1:10“I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, and that there be no divisions among you.”

May all in the tens of thousands of Christian groups be blessed to focus on The Prophets, Psalms, and Bible enough to Be Catholic, and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” from the only place Jesus left them.

Chapter 93

Chapter 93: Another Way That Being Catholic Cures “Confusion Headaches”

The Duty of Every Catholic is clear!  Today’s Psalm 96:1-3, 7-8, 10 tells us to:  “Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations!  Sing to The Lord a new song… Announce His salvation, day after day.  Tell His glory among the nations… among all people, His wondrous deeds… He governs all people with equity.”

Then, Today’s “Alleluia” lets us see why The Most Blessed People in the World are Catholics singing “the new song”“Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life to light through the Gospel.  Alleluia, Alleluia!”

Catholics are blessed to obey Three Gospel Commands of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies:

1. We obey His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

2. We receive Catholic Communion because Jesus taught us:  “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

From those Two Teachings of Jesus, Catholics correctly conclude:  “The best thing I can do is Be Catholic and receive His Actual Body and Blood by God’s Miracle of Transubstantiation at every Catholic Communion.  The Catholic Conclusion:

3.  I will spend the rest of my life on earth trying to obey God’s Guiding Command for His People on earth:  “Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.”

Today’s Gospel (Mark 3:22-30) tells us that people who love themselves more than God don’t want anyone following 1, 2, and 3!

“The scribes who had come from Jerusalem (Catholics see in them a pattern of opposition to Christ’s Church) said of Jesus, ‘He is possessed by Beelzebub,’ and ‘By the prince of demons, He drives out demons.'”

Jesus then spoke to all who would reject 1, 2, and 3“Summoning them, He began to speak to them in parables: ‘How can Satan drive out Satan?’  If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  And if a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.”

Catholics observe in History:  Catholics observe that many non-Catholic groups have experienced division “against itself” from its beginning.  The Reformation led to disputes over millions of acres of Catholic Churches, Monasteries, Convents, Schools, Hospitals, Inns, Farms, and Accommodations for the Poor.  In the last 500 years, they have “divided” into thousands of denominations and groups.

That “cloud of contradictions” may affect those who suffer from “Confusion Headaches”, which are cured by respecting Jesus enough to “Be Catholic!”

There is an added “bonus” for Being Catholic“Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them.  But, whoever blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.”  For they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”

May all be blessed to heed this warning and seek The Catholic Church while there is still time!

~

Chapter 94

Chapter 94: Catholics Cure “Confusion Headaches” By Getting “Out Of Our Mind”!

The Catholic Bible Reading from Mark 3:20-21 on January 23, 2026, tells us that people in Jesus’ family thought “He is out of His mind.”

A few days later, Today’s Reading from Mark 3:31-35 tells us, “The Mother of Jesus and His brothers (in Aramaic, the word for ‘brother’ can also mean ‘relatives’ or ‘kinsmen’; cf. CCC 500) arrived at the house.  (Mary was trying to show them the greatness of Jesus.)  Standing outside, they sent word to Jesus and called Him.  A crowd seated outside told Him, ‘Your Mother and your brothers and your sisters (relatives) are outside asking for You.'”

Jesus did not go to see them.  Instead, “He said to them (the people who had given Him the message) ‘Who are My Mother and My brothers?’  And, looking around at those seated in the circle, He said, ‘Here are My Mother and My brothers.  For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”

Catholics believe that He Who Fulfilled The Messianic Prophecies is “the will of God” in Human Form!  We see that His Church-Creating Decree to His First Catholic Pope is “the will of God” on earth.  It cures “Confusion Headaches” by letting us get “out of our mind”!

What do Catholics do when we realize that we are “the brother, sister, and Mother” of Jesus?

We are overcome with joy as we repeat Today’s “Alleluia” from Mt. 11:25 and realize that we are among His “little ones”!

“Blessed are You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth;  you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the Kingdom.”!

~

Chapter 95

Chapter 95: How Young People Can Cure “Confusion Headaches” With One Word

When young people focus on the word “Grandchildren”, they are blessed by The God Whose Son said:  “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”  That keeps them from being distracted by those who hate to understand how important “grandchildren” are.

Thinking about “grandchildren” lets each person see that they are the last, living link in a family that goes back to the children of Adam and Eve.  The word “grandchildren” lets us all see our past in their future!

Focusing on “grandchildren” helps each person see that “My mission in life is raising children who will have grandchildren.”  They soon see that some priorities may lead away from life’s deeper purpose.

May all be blessed to see that One Church has summed up the duty of every soul on earth:  “We must not get in the way of a life that must be protected from conception until natural death.”

That One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church was Spoken Into Being by The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies when He said to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Focusing on “raising children to have grandchildren” lets us see that we may have, and help others get, “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” by receiving the Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, and Marriage from those blessed to receive Holy Orders.

Catholic priests and religious blessed with Holy Orders may be seen as “God’s Children”.  They have more “grandchildren” than anyone!

They let Catholics literally have “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.  Everyone who helps others to focus on “grandchildren” moves higher on The Road to Heaven by getting others onto That Holy Road.

Today’s Catholic Reading from Mark 4:1-20 ends with this:  “But those seeds sown on rich soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.”

What to remember from this:  When a young person is asked what they should want in life, “grandchildren” is always the best answer.

~

Chapter 96

Chapter 96: God’s Children Are Grand. So May Our “Grandchildren” Be!

God has led those who are blessed to think about grandchildren to do so.  2 Samuel 7:4-17 explains God’s Word to David, “I will raise up your heir after you, sprung from your loins, and I will make his Kingdom firm.”

Every Catholic’s “Kingdom” is The Church Spoken Into Being by The Prophesied Son of God to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Those who guide their thinking by focusing on “grandchildren” know that the most important thing we can leave them is the importance of God’s seven “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”: Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, and Anointing of the Sick, from those Ordained with Holy Orders from God.

That gives us purpose and direction.  The best way to have the most “grandchildren” blessed with the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” is to focus on getting them for ourselves!  Psalm 132:12 is clear, “If your sons observe My covenant and My decrees, I shall teach them.  Their sons, in turn, shall sit forever on your throne.”

May all be blessed to help our neighbors focus on getting those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” so that all of us will be blessed with more “grandchildren”.

May all God’s “children” be that “grand”!

~

Chapter 97

Chapter 97: Curing “Confusion Headaches” By Seeing “Grandchildren” Is Two Words!

The more we ask God for Obedient Faith in Him, the more gifts He gives us.

A great gift from He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies was described several times in John 6, and again at The Last Supper: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.”

Catholics have His “life in” us by receiving Catholic Communion from His Catholic priests.  We call them “Father” because the Spirit of God lives in them, empowering them to preside over The Miracle of Transubstantiation at every Catholic Mass following The Last Supper.

Catholics are blessed to be among God’s “children” by adoption through sanctifying grace (cf. Galatians 3:26, CCC 1265), and to receive His Body and Blood in Catholic Communion!

Is there any hope of that “life” for those who have not yet accepted the life-providing Church Spoken Into Being by This Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope?

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics know! At every Catholic Communion, the sanctifying grace of Christ’s Body and Blood is received through the bread and wine by the power God gives His Catholic priests and us!

When a Catholic leaves Communion, the grace they have received shines through their prayers, words, and deeds to those around them.

Every person who is in the presence and prayers of Catholic Communion Receivers may be touched by that grace.

May all Catholics be blessed to help to save our neighbors by receiving Communion as often as we can!

~

Chapter 98

Chapter 98: God Gives Bible Readers A “Confusion Headache” That Is 3,000 Years Old!

Catholics can cure this “Confusion Headache” from the Bible!  Today, in 2 Samuel 12:1-7,10-17, we learn that David was punished and forgiven for the sin of committing adultery with Bathsheba, killing her husband, and bearing false witness:

Thus says the LORD God of Israel:  ‘The sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me  and have taken the wife of Uriah to be your wife.’  Thus says the LORD:  ‘I will bring evil upon you out of your own house.  I will take your wives while you live to see it,  and will give them to your neighbor.  He shall lie with your wives in broad daylight.
You have done this deed in secret,  but I will bring it about in the presence of all Israel, and with the sun looking down.’”

What is the “Confusion Headache”?  In the Daily Reading for January 19, 1 Samuel 15:16-23, God rejected Saul’s kingship for allowing his men to take, rather than obey, His command to “destroy” what they had taken from the Amalekites.   He had “rejected” Saul for what seems to be a lesser sin, but kept David, the lying, murdering, adulterer, as King. The difference was David’s contrite heart: his profound repentance in Psalm 51 moved God to mercy, while Saul made excuses and remained stubborn (1 Samuel 15:20–21).

That is a “Confusion Headache” that Catholics can cure!  The “Grandest” of David’s “Grand children” was Jesus, born of a Virgin of the House of David (Isaiah 7:14) in the village of Bethlehem, the birthplace of King David (Micah 5:2).  For the Birth of He Who Fulfilled many Messianic Prophecies to take place, David had to continue God’s Work of making Judea safe for David’s “grand children” for the next thousand years, despite trials like “The Babylonian Captivity” that would occur about 400 years later.

For the Prophecies to come true, David’s grand children had to survive.  God used David to provide the political structure to let them do so.

Catholics are blessed to know that, just as God forgave David’s sin, His Catholic priests, ordained according to the order of Melchizedek (cf. Hebrews 7), have the power to forgive our sins and to provide the Holy Eucharist — prefigured by the bread and wine that Melchizedek, priest of God Most High, offered to David’s blessed ancestor, Abraham (Genesis 14:18)!

Catholics see our connection with God and David. We know that our worst sins can be forgiven, just as David’s were.

Catholics find in the faith a powerful cure for “Confusion Headaches”.

~

Chapter 99

Chapter 99: “Humility” Is the Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”

Catholics see that we are Prophesied by Zephaniah 2:3; 3:12-13.  “Seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth, who have observed His law;  seek justice, seek humility;  perhaps you may be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger.”

We are among those blessed to be described, again by Zephaniah’s Prophecy, “But I will leave as a remnant in your midst a people humble and lowly who shall take refuge in the name of the LORD;  the remnant of Israel.”

Today’s Psalm 146:6-10 is another Prophecy describing Catholics!  And Matthew 5:3 promises:  “Blessed are the poor in spirit;  The Kingdom of Heaven is theirs!”

Catholics “seek humility” enough to gratefully obey The Church-Creating Decree of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

Matthew 5:1-12 tells us that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies gave us His Prophecies and Promise:  “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is The Kingdom of Heaven… “Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is The Kingdom of Heaven… Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of Me.  Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in Heaven.”

From The Prophet Zephaniah to Jesus, Catholics are told to be blessed by humbly “seeking The Kingdom of Heaven” for our immortal souls.

May those who avoid The Church to gain approval of those who praise human vanities be blessed to see that Today’s Reading is telling all to be “humble” enough to “Be Catholic!” and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.  Those “keys” include the authority to administer The Seven Catholic Sacraments!

~

Afterword:

We have seen many “Confusion Headaches” cured by respectfully following The Bible’s Words that took form in God’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

We may read and share what we have learned with beloved neighbors, many of whom are too confused to Be Catholic.

Every time we try to help another get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, we bless both them and ourselves.  May we never forget to Honor The Church-Creating Word of The Programmer, Program, and Downloader to The First Catholic Pope!

“And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

One of those “keys to the Kingdom of Heaven” is curing our “Confusion Headaches” enough to help ourselves and our beloved neighbors to “Be As Catholic As We Can.”

About the Author

The developer of catholicfundamentalism.com was raised “Somewhat Presbyterian.” He was blessed to attend St. Bede’s School and Monastery in Peru, Illinois, where his final year of high school was combined with his first year of college. There, he discovered the writings of G. K. Chesterton, St. Thomas Aquinas, and many Catholic teachings—while stubbornly remaining “Somewhat Presbyterian.”

After college, he completed military service in the United States and South Vietnam, including graduation from Infantry Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning. Following his discharge, he pursued graduate studies in Library and Information Science and became an inner-city Children’s Librarian. During this period, he re-learned the Fairy Tales and came to see the truths embedded within them.

He later inherited ten thousand dollars from his grandfather and left a tenured librarian position to pursue invention and manufacturing. He invented a new kind of suction cup, had a small injection mold made, and spent four years selling the product to small retail stores throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio.

During those years, he drove tens of thousands of miles from town to town while listening to radio stations that featured a different Protestant speaker every fifteen minutes. After four years of what he later called a “post-graduate study of Protestantism,” he reached a clear conclusion: these were sincere and concerned people endlessly arguing with one another, each promoting a different religious marketing plan.

At a dinner, he met a Catholic priest and unexpectedly found himself saying, “Father, I have to be Catholic.” With the patient guidance of Fr. Ernest Strzelenski, he resolved his Protestant confusion and entered the Catholic Church. In doing so, he stopped living in contradiction to what he came to understand as the only Church-creating words spoken by Jesus Christ:

“And I say unto you, thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church… I give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.”

After becoming Catholic, he was able to focus clearly on inventing, designing, manufacturing, packaging, and selling housewares products worldwide. Over the next 25 years, the anonymous inventor and more than 200 associates grew the business from a two-door car operation into over 20 acres of factory and warehouse facilities running 24/7/365, producing products sold globally and protected by more than 200 patents.

He served three terms on his local School Board, helping to achieve the lowest property taxes in his county. After being replaced by the usual people and groups, and learning that “taxes test souls,” he turned his attention to clearly explaining “simple reasons to be Catholic.”

A Catholic priest once assured him it was acceptable to operate on Christmas Day because employees were paid double time and a half—allowing Catholic workers to earn the cost of Christmas gifts in one shift and still attend Mass.

The anonymous inventor may be the world’s only Catholic evangelist with over 200 patents. He now shares “sometimes new and always simple reasons to Be Catholic” through over 7,000 daily posts on catholicfundamentalism.com, offered freely and anonymously in obedience to Scripture’s advice to be self-effacing.

Author’s Notes

Books and writings on catholicfundamentalism.com are free and anonymous to avoid the distractions of seeking fame and fortune that keep many from focusing on the command of Jesus:

“Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

Author’s Credibility

He spent 45 years building a worldwide, 24/7/365 manufacturing company based on more than 200 patents for a wide variety of new products that replaced older ones. That clarity and success followed his conversion to Catholicism, after he was no longer confused by thousands of conflicting religious marketing plans.

Author’s Hope

May all be blessed to love God and our neighbors enough to Be Catholic—and to receive the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven from the successors of the first person to receive them: St. Peter, Jesus Christ’s first Catholic Pope.

Author’s Prayer

May all the world be blessed to honor the only Church-creating words spoken by He who fulfilled over 300 prophecies to His first Catholic Pope:

“And I say unto you, thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Warning – Disclaimer:

Throughout the long succession of miracles that make up the Jewish and Christian Faiths of our Fathers, professionals have been provided to give guidance. Salvation is not a do-it-yourself project. Simply reading this or any book, is no guarantee. Professional help from ordained, traditional clergy can be a great help. Seek no guidance from anyone who does not believe that God is capable of miracles. If, at Judgment, we are denied admittance to Heaven, it will be, to some degree, because we did not bother to select a good Guide.
