Acts 15:1-6 is filled with “Hidden Prophecies” that help obedient Catholics get our immortal souls into Heaven! Today’s Reading starts with an argument that began when Jewish Catholics told Gentile Catholics, “Unless you are circumcised according to the Mosaic practice, you cannot be saved.”
Like all good Catholics for the next 2,000 years, “… it was decided that Paul, Barnabas, and some of the others should go up to Jerusalem to the Apostles and presbyters about this question.”
“When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by The Church, as well as by the Apostles and the presbyters, and they reported what God had done with them. But, some from the party of the Pharisees who had become believers stood up and said, ‘It is necessary to circumcise them and direct them to observe the Mosaic law.’ The Apostles and the presbyters met together to see about this matter.”
The problem was taken to the First Catholic Pope, to whom He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies had Spoken His Church-Creating Word: “And I say unto you thou art Peter, and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Going to Jerusalem fulfilled “Hidden Prophecies” in Psalm 122:1-5, which came true in Today’s Reading! “Let us go rejoicing to The House of The Lord… and now we have set foot within your gates, O Jerusalem… Jerusalem, built as a city with compact unity (That is a “Hidden Prophecy” of Vatican City!)… to it the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD… In it are set up judgment seats, seats for The House of David.” Many “Hidden Prophecies” about David, Jesus, His Popes, Bishops, priests, and Catholics had come true!
John 15:4-5 shares this “Hidden Prophecy” from “the most Beloved Disciple” that tells us to “Be Catholic!” and to “Stay Catholic!” “‘Remain in Me as I remain in you,’ says The Lord; ‘whoever remains in Me will bear much fruit.'”
Today’s Daily Catholic Reading from John 15:1-8 gives us “Hidden Prophecies” that help the most obedient believers to “Be Catholic!”:
“Jesus said to His disciples: ‘I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in Me that does not bear fruit… (That is a “Hidden Prophecy” of how entire groups of semi-believers, from the Nicolaitans {Rev 2: 6, 15} and Arians and all who reject The Catholic Church in every age, are “taken away”. Proof: We see the “dying branches” of disappearing denominations in every city!)
Then Jesus tells us how important it is to “Be Catholic!” and “Stay Catholic!” “You are already pruned because of The Word that I spoke to you (Mt. 16:18-20!) Remain in Me, as I remain in you.” (That is a “Hidden Prophecy” telling us to let Him “remain in” us with The Miracle of Catholic Communion! Jesus did tell us 12 times in the last half of John 6, and twice more at The Last Supper, what obedient Catholics are blessed to have: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”)
Then, Jesus gives us this “Hidden Prophecy” telling us to “Stay Catholic!” “Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.”
Jesus clearly tells us: “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in Me (“Stays Catholic!”) and I in him will bear much fruit, because without Me you can do nothing.”
Then, Jesus tells us again how important it is to “Stay Catholic!” “Anyone who does not remain in Me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire, and they will be burned.”
The “Hidden Prophecies” in Today’s Catholic Reading conclude with Christ’s Call to “Be Catholic!” and to “Stay Catholic!”
“If you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask for whatever you want, and it will be done for you. By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become My disciples.”
