Catholics are blessed with these words from The First Pope! #8.

Catholics are Catholic because He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies gave His Life to leave One Church on earth. Today, a "Hidden Prophecy" blesses us to "Be Catholic!"

The First Catholic Pope asked God for this “universal” Blessing in 2 Peter 1:2-7,   “Beloved:  May grace and peace be yours in abundance through knowledge of God and of Jesus, our Lord.”

Peter identifies the “beloved” as those upon whom “His Divine Power has bestowed on us everything that makes for life and devotion, through the knowledge of Him Who called us by His Own Glory and Power.”

Catholics know that His “Divine Power” provides The Seven Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing, and God’s Holy Orders that take living form in His obedient Catholic priests, religious, and people.

“Through these, He has bestowed on us the precious and very great promises, so that through them you may come to share in the Divine Nature, after escaping from the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.”

Then, the only person on earth to whom Jesus said, “And I say unto you, ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'” told us what God wants those blessed to hear Christ’s call to “Be Catholic!” to do:

“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, virtue with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion, devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love.”

Obedient Catholics are foretold by Psalm 92:1-2 & 14-16;  “In You, my God, I place my trust. You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High who abide in the shadow of The Almighty. … he shall call upon Me and I will answer him;  I will be with him in distress. … I will deliver him and glorify him;  with length of days I will glorify him and will show him My Salvation.”

Today, we see a “Hidden Prophecy” in Today’s “Alleluia”Catholics are “shown God’s Salvation” by heeding Rev 1:5: “Jesus Christ, You are The Faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead;  You have loved us and freed us from our sins by Your Blood.”

That is a “Hidden Prophecy” foretelling those who would be ‘freed from our sins by Your Blood” by obeying the call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  We cannot receive That Holy Food without being “freed from our sins” with Absolution from our Catholic priests after Confessing our sins!  Everyone who is blessed to understand that will “Be Catholic!”

In Today’s Gospel, Mark 12:1-12 defines The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Jesus died to leave on earth when The Old Testament Prophecies from Psalm 118:22 and Isaiah 28:16 were fulfilled:  “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;  by the Lord has this been done and it is wonderful in our eyes.”

Those who see how “wonderful in our eyes” His Catholic Church is are blessed to “Be Catholic!”
