The refusal to be embarrassed by reality.

Every good leftists knows that he lies all day and every day. Lost souls are proud when they’re caught lying, and follow by telling another whopper. They can’t ever say “I’m sorry. I was wrong. In the future, I will try to find and tell the truth.”

Instead, when one of their lies is discredited, they race to embrace another. When we ask “Why?”, we can accept Jesus’s answer: “Their father is the father of lies.” They are, themselves, actually lies in human form. It is very hard to frighten them with the fear of unending punishment. They know that they are damned, and still, they lie.

Their lies are a part of them. Among the most hardened, professional liars, lies are all they have, and their lies are all they are. The father of lies has given them a mission. “Lie, and tell others to believe these lies. Thus, will you be honored in my Kingdom when your soul comes to me.”

None of them are able to understand that the father of lies is telling them the biggest lie of all. There is no joy awaiting them. Not ever. Quite the opposite, in fact.
