Today! “The Catholic Connection!” to Moses. #18.

Catholics are blessed to "Upgrade Catholic Understanding" by downloading this "New Idea!": "The Loving Programmer Downloaded The Creation Program to give us Free Will."

The most blessed people on earth were described by Moses around 1,500 BC, in Deuteronomy 7:6-11. “Moses said to the people: ‘You are a people sacred to The LORD, your God:  He has chosen you from all the nations on the face of the earth to be a people peculiarly His own.'”

Moses explained why God had chosen them:  “It was not because you are the largest of all nations that The LORD set His heart on you and chose you, for you are really the smallest of all nations.  It was because The LORD loved you and because of His fidelity to the oath He had sworn your fathers.”

Catholics know that one “oath” came from God when He had Melchizedek give Abraham “bread and wine” at Jerusalem (Genesis 14:18).  That First Catholic Communion on earth, three hundred years before Moses, is a “Hidden Prophecy” of The Church-Creating Word that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies Spoke to His First Catholic Pope!

“And, I say unto you:  ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

Do you like to learn and share “New Ideas”?  Catholics have a New Theory of History that lets us make The Melchizekek Connection in a short, free, anonymous book with lots of pictures.  Those who think, “I know all  about getting into Heaven!”  will avoid or try to find something wrong with:  https://catholicfundamentalism.com/book/catholics-make-simple-sense-out-of-history-by-seeing-melchizedek-at-work/

Moses made Salvation clear!  “God keeps His Merciful Covenant down to the thousandth generation toward those who love Him and keep His Commandments.”  One Commandment from Moses (Leviticus 19:18), has echoed from Moses to Jesus (Mt. 22:37-39 and Mark 12:30-31) to God’s Chosen People for the last 2,000 years:  “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

Today, Psalm 103:1-10 makes it clear! “The Lord’s kindness is everlasting to those who fear Him… We rejoice because He pardons all your inequities, heals all your ills, redeems your life from destruction, (and) crowns you with kindness and compassion.”

That call to The Seven Catholic Sacraments, Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing, and Holy Orders of God is hard for all who are not blessed to “Be Catholic!”  This “Hidden Prophecy” of God’s saving grace is clear in 1 John 4:7-16:  “No one has ever seen God.  Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us,  and His love is brought to perfection in us.”

Those blessed to receive the “perfection” of The Catholic Sacraments are specifically identified:  “Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is The Son of God, God remains in him and he in God.”

Those blessed to “Be Catholic!” gratefully obey Mt. 11;29.  We “‘Take My yoke upon you.’ says the Lord;  ‘and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart.'”

When we start to “take His yoke upon us”, Catholics make an amazing discovery!  “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.'”

Only Catholics clearly see that our job is to carry “light” that shines from He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies and let it shine on all we can by “Loving God and our neighbors as ourselves.”
